Drake Parties With Cash Cobain & Fivio Foreign During Weekend In New York: Watch

Drake is a polarizing figure in the hip-hop community, that goes without saying. That is especially true when it comes to some of his peers. He and Yasiin Bey, formerly Mos Def, were going at it recently after an interview went viral. The legendary New York MC said that Drizzy does not make rap music, but rather stuff you would hear while shopping. In addition, Megan Thee Stallion also sent some strays in her recent mega viral diss track, “HISS,” aimed at his Young Money teammate, Nicki Minaj. Even with all of that hate, plenty still respect him for what he has done for the genre over his decorated career.

One of those who gave him his kudos was New York drill rapper Fivio Foreign. In one of his latest tweets, he said, “Deff gotta give Drake his flowers 💐 He took me viral early fr 💪🏽” Fivio is harkening back to the time they collaborated on Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes record back in 2019. They did so on “Demons” along with Sosa Geek. It turns out that message was sent around the same time that he and The Boy were hanging out in NYC.

Cardi B & Offset Hit Up New York City To Spend Time Together After Breakup

Cardi B and Offset apparently hit up New York City together recently, at least based on some fan pics that social media sleuths tied together. Moreover, a fan took a photo with each of them at an undisclosed store on Thursday (December 28) and posted them both, and they appeared separately, of course. It seems like, amid their breakup, they still don’t want to appear together in such a public way… or this was just a wild coincidence and both rappers were in the Big Apple on their own paths. In addition, fans also confirmed via other pictures and their fits in them that this all apparently happened the same day.

Furthermore, this comes just a couple of days after Cardi B seemed to suggest that she and Offset aren’t getting back together anytime soon. Many fans expressed wishes for this to happen online, but she liked a tweet suggesting that they’re getting their hopes up. Regardless, it’s at least heartening to see that they apparently can still hang out together and will likely maintain a pretty amicable relationship. It’s unlikely that they’ll be able to address this via their music anytime soon, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Bardi’s next album cycle references this in some way.

What’s more is that this isn’t the first time that the “JEALOUSY” duo seemingly reunited after their split. While this instance is still pretty unconfirmed, it was quite wholesome to see the family get together for Christmas. Offset and Cardi B have a lot to take care of and nurture, much of which they’ve built together, so it’s important for them to still support each other if possible. They don’t need to be super chummy, but they have done too much to lose all the spark they had.

Meanwhile, they still have to deal with a lot of other things together that aren’t as fulfilling. For example, the couple received a lawsuit over allegedly unpaid rent and property damage. As such, they will likely continue to stick around each other in the near future, and hopefully a new and healthy bond can emerge from the ashes of another. Will Smith recently hit up Art Basel Miami over the week with what we thought was a familiar face. Rather, it turns out that he was just hanging out with someone who looks a lot like Jada Pinkett Smith, if only for her shaved head. There weren’t any real signs of chemistry, PDA, or clear interactions between the two, so keep those rumors to yourself. Given all the drama that emerged around the Smith’s relationship over recent years (particularly months), these kinds of rumors probably won’t slow down. The irony is that Jada’s alopecia is what warrants the comparison to this woman, and is also the core of her husband’s Oscars slap that she believes saved their marriage.

“After all those years trying to figure out if I would leave Will’s side, it took that slap for me to see I will never leave him,” Jada Pinkett Smith told the Daily Mail in an interview published on Saturday (December 9). “Who knows where our relationship would be if that hadn’t happened?” What’s more is that she called Will Smith’s actions towards Chris Rock “the holy slap.” According to the actress, “so many positive things came after it,” and though their relationship isn’t perfect, it’s definitely on an upward trend after a lot of airing out… for better or worse.

Tyler, The Creator Pulls Up To Lil Yachy’s House

Lil Yachty shared a series of pictures and videos from a trip Tyler, The Creator recently took to his house in a post on Instagram, Saturday afternoon. In the post, Tyler makes fun of Batman, pulls down the pants on a toy modeled after Yachty, and more.

“Tyler verbally abusing Batman is insane to see,” one fan commented in response. Another wrote, “Nah pulling down the back of his pants is crazy.” Other fans called on the two to release a collaborative album together. “You convince him to do the album?” one user asked Yachty. At one point in the post, Tyler plays piano, but it’s unclear if the two actually worked on music together.

Yachty previously discussed the idea of working on an album with Tyler following the release of his latest project, Let’s Start Here. Speaking with Billboard, Yachty revealed that Tyler served as a major inspiration for the album. “I would love to do a project with Tyler [The Creator],” Yachty said at the time. “He’s the reason I made this album, he’s the one who told me to do it, just go for it. He’s so confident and I have so much respect for him because he takes me seriously, and he always has.”

The album marked a creative departure for Yachty who opted for a psychedelic rock-influenced sound. “Fuck any of the albums I dropped before this one,” he also controversially said. “I came into music in a time where rap was real hardcore, it was real street. And a bunch of us kids came in with colorful hair and dressing different and basically said, ‘Move out the way, old fucks. We on some other shit.’ I was young and I didn’t really give a fuck, so I did do things that may have led people to the assumptions that I was a mumble rapper or a SoundCloud kid or I don’t appreciate the history of hip-hop.”
