Converse Reveals the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase

For the first time, Converse has adopted Nike’s FlyEase technology to create the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase. The Chuck Taylor All Star joins other icons like the Air Jordan 1 and Nike Air Max 90 as the latest beloved silhouette to use FlyEase accessibility technology, making it easier than ever for Chuck Taylor fans to get in and out of the sneaker.

The Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase allows you to step in and out of the shoe without using your hands. A FlyEase cage made of flexing and rebounding thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material enables hands-free foot entry and lockdown. A canvas upper with a padded stretch-canvas collar and a fixed-in-place padded tongue adds to the ease of access, ensuring a snug fit. The effortless on-and-off practicality of this reconstructed Chuck is completed by an active heel tab and heel overlay.

While the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase Ox makes entry more accessible, it also provides all-day comfort thanks to a unique footbed stuffed with CX foam and a polyurethane leather sock liner.

Black/Wild Mango/White, White/Black/Wild Mango, and Egret/String/Light Silver are the three colorways available for the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase.

A TMZ Sports report has confirmed that 39-year-old UFC star Cain Velasquez has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection to a shooting at a San Jose, CA high school.

According to the report, one person was shot and another was arrested. Velasquez is still in custody and is scheduled to appear in front of a judge tomorrow(March 2).There are no more details about Velasquez’s arrest, but the story is still developing.

Velasquez, a California native, is a legend in the mixed martial arts world, defeating everyone from Brock Lesnar to Junior Dos Santos. After his loss to Francis Ngannou, Cain shifted into the wrestling world, spending several months in the WWE.

Nike has revealed the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection. The line of sneakers upholds a collaboration between Nike and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, which has raised over $30 million for the facility and given over 100 patients the opportunity to design their own sneakers.

The 17th collection is headlined by Catalina Vazquez, Zoe Taaffe, Cidni O’Brie, Maylee Phelps, David Phelps, Ayman Wamala and Michael Wilson. The sneakers designed are the Nike SB Stefan Janoski, Nike Dunk Low, Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka, NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4, Nike LeBron 19, Nike Blazer Mid ’77, and the Air Jordan 5 Low.

eBay has the Doernbecher Freestyle XVII Collection and the special additions unveiled on February 25. The eBay auction will be active from 4:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, February 26 through 4:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, March 5. The Doernbecher Freestyle XVII Collection’s sneakers, apparel, and equipment will be available for purchase in stores later this spring.
