Antonio Brown Explaining His Outburst During Jets Game

Antonio Brown’s final moment in the NFL is one of the most memorable of all time. The former Pro Bowl receiver was last seen giving the fans deuces as he trotted off the field at MetLife Stadium. His Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the middle of a game with the New York Jets when the moment happened. Brown broke the internet with his decision to walk off the sidelines during a game. Most couldn’t believe that this was the way Brown’s legacy would finish its final chapter on the field. Now Brown is telling his side of the infamous story.

On a recent episode of MILLION $ WORTH OF GAME, Brown discussed what he was thinking during the moment. According to Brown, there were so many variables involved in the situation. First, the star receiver was frustrated with Tampa QB Tom Brady. Brown claims that Brady was upset with him over not taking a contract that Brown felt was disrespectful. Also, Brown stated he was dealing with an injury that the coaches did not listen to him about. The combination of issues seemed to bring Brown to the brink. Which caused the receiver to split during the game.

Antonio Brown Was Frustrated With Tampa Bay

Brown’s departure did not sit well with the Buccaneers organization and was the last time he was seen in the league. AB’s career was once heading directly to Canton as a Hall-of-Famer. However, his last three seasons have left a sour taste in the league. Brown never played one game as a member of the Raiders. As the receiver and the organization were at odds from the moment, he joined the organization. But Brown was a part of the Super Bowl winning Buccaneers team from 2021. However, his numbers might not have been what one would expect from such a talent.

Brown’s career is still Hall-of-Fame worthy. Multiple Pro Bowls, four-time All-Pro, and is a member of the 2010’s All-Decade Team. Brown has literally done it all as one of the best to ever play the game. However, his off-the-field antics and legal issues have put a black eye on his extraordinary legacy. Do you think what Antonio Brown did was wrong that day in New York? Is Brown still a Hall-of-Famer? Drop your thoughts on the matter in our comment section. Jalen Hurts Now Highest Paid Player In NFL History

Jalen Hurts doesn’t look to be leaving Philadelphia any time soon. It’s being reported that the Eagles QB has signed a five-year extension with the team. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the five-year deal is for $255 million. The deal makes Hurts the highest-paid player in NFL history. Also, Hurts’ latest contract includes $179.304 million in guaranteed money. The Eagles have now locked up their franchise QB and paid him handsomely in the process.

Hurts had a monster in 2022, leading the Eagles to the one seed in the NFC. Unfortunately for Hurts, the Eagles ran into the Kansas City Chiefs in the biggest game of the year. If anyone had a better season than Hurts, it would be Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. However, the Eagles have plenty to be happy about from the 2022 season. Hurts finished the 2022 regular season with over 3,700 yards passing and 22 touchdown passes. However, his ability to keep a play alive may be his strongest asset.

Jalen Hurts Earns Stout Contract Extension

The news of the Eagles and Hurts making a deal isn’t shocking to most. However, one has to wonder what Lamar Jackson may think of the deal. Jackson is still looking for a bigger payday. But the Ravens have not seemed interested in speaking with Jackson on a new deal. Yes, Jackson hasn’t been to a Super Bowl. But the former Louisville QB has been league MVP and the strongest link for the Baltimore Ravens. The news of Hurts’ contract may change those conversations in Baltimore.

The Eagles have their future set. The team has locked in their QB and surrounded him with a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball. It will be no surprise to anyone to see the Eagles be one of the top teams this upcoming season. However, now it is time for Hurts to live up to his hefty contract. Do you believe the Eagles made the right choice in signing Hurts long-term? What does his contract mean for future QBs that will hit the market? Give us your thoughts on Hurts’ contract in the comment section. For the latest NFL news, keep it right here at HNHH.

Russell Wilson Puts Future’s Son’s Wide Receiver Skills On Full Display

Russell Wilson had a very difficult season with the Denver Broncos last year. Overall, the Broncos were not good at all. Although they were poised to have an amazing season, Wilson found himself having the worst numbers of his career. However, the team has gotten a new head coach in Sean Payton, who some believe could be the savior of the team. Needless to say, there is a very real possibility that the Broncos have a resurgence this year. Only time will tell whether or not that will be the case.

Throughout the offseason, Russell Wilson has been hard at work, making sure that he doesn’t have another horrendous season. Moreover, he has been spending some time with his kids, as well as his step-son, Future Zahir. Of course, this is Future’s son with Ciara. Over the years, Russ has taken a large role in raising Future Zahir, much to the dismay of weirdos on Twitter. Recently, Wilson has been helping Future Zahir when it comes to playing wide receiver. Overall, the kid has a ton of talent.

Russell Wilson Is Training The Youth

In the video clip up above, Russell Wilson can be seen in the gym, throwing the ball to Future. Additionally, the kid is showcasing a ton of natural talent by making some one-handed grabs. Moreover, Wilson played with his daughter Sienna. It seemed like some good old-fashioned family fun. In the Instagram clip, Wilson wrote, “One Handed? Too Easy! Future soon to be @NFL 1st Rounder & Yes Girls play Football too! Sienna loves her Sundays!” If you can find a way to hate on this, well, you are likely beyond saving.

Subsequently, Wilson will be attending training camp with his teammates. There are plenty of narratives surrounding the quarterback, and we’re sure he is eager to shake off some of the negative labels that exist out there. Hopefully, the Broncos get a bit better, and actually contend in a crowded AFC West. Let us know what you think, in the comments section below. Lamar Jackson Requested Ravens Aquire DeAndre Hopkins & OBJ: Report

Lamar Jackson reportedly told the Baltimore Ravens to acquire DeAndre Hopkins, and Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason. According to Michael Lombardi, Jackson said that if they can get it done, “we can talk.” Lombardi discussed what he’s been hearing from sources inside the organization on his podcast, The Lombardi Line.

“I was told reliably by someone who’s involved, that Lamar told them ‘get Hopkins and get Beckham,’” he said on the show. The team has successfully acquired one of its targets in Beckham. As for Hopkins, Lombardi says the team feels they won’t be able to afford to bring in both star receivers.

When the team welcomed Beckham, last week, he made no indication that Jackson would be coming back as a result of the news. “Lamar, if you’re watching, I would love to get to work with you,” the former Super Bowl champion said with a smile. “The goal was to come here and have that possibility to play with him.”

Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta has said that the team is operating with Jackson still in their plans for 2023. “Lamar’s in our plans; we love Lamar,” DeCosta previously said. “Our feelings about Lamar have not changed one bit since the end of the season. We’re hopeful still that we’ll get a long-term deal done. He’s the right player for this team to lead us to where we want to be. I think the locker room knows that, the organization knows that. I think the fan base knows that. So it’s ongoing. But I can’t think of a situation where we wouldn’t think that our best team is with Lamar Jackson on the team in September.”

The deadline for Jackson to ink a long-term deal with the Ravens or another team is July 17. After that date, he will have to stay in Baltimore for one more season worth $32.416 million or sit out the entire year.

Odell Beckham Jr. Gets Big Legal Victory

Odell Beckham now has another reason to celebrate. The star receiver recently signed a deal to rejoin the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. At the same time, Beckham can celebrate a legal victory. According to TMZ, Beckham can now move forward with his case against Nike. Nike requested the case be tossed out. However, a judge has ruled that the case can move forward. The judge’s decision is massive news for Beckham and his legal team.

According to the report, Beckham is accusing the brand of not paying him millions of dollars that he claims he deserves. Earlier when the case was filed, Beckham issued a statement on the situation at the time of the case being filed. “Unfortunately, Nike did not honor its commitments. Throughout our partnership, I have kept my promise and fulfilled my obligations to the brand. I am extremely disappointed that I’ve had to take these measures to ensure Nike fulfills their obligations and promises.” The judge not dismissing is a huge step in the right direction for Beckham and his legal team. But it doesn’t mean the fight is over.

Odell Beckham-Nike Court Case Moving Forward

However, fighting a brand giant like Nike might not end well. But for now, Beckham can celebrate the potential chance of getting what he allegedly is owed by the company. Beckham claims the company owes him $20 million. Obviously, anyone who is expecting that much money would fight for justice. Nike’s alleged reasoning for not paying Beckham is that the NFL star violated footwear and glove regulations made by the company.

Beckham has had a big month in terms of his professional life. His recent signing in Baltimore has already sparked talk of a dangerous duo. If the Ravens can bring back frustrated QB Lamar Jackson, the two could be an unstoppable force in the NFL. Although, it has been over a year since Odell Beckham took a snap on a football field. However, the former Pro Bowler is expected to be at 100% at the start of training camp. For the latest news regarding the NFL, stay locked in right here at HNHH.

Odell Beckham Jr. Sends Message To Lamar Jackson

Odell Beckham Jr.’s recent signing with the Baltimore Ravens had fans giddy. A lot of Ravens fans believed the signing all but promised the return of quarterback Lamar Jackson. However, that doesn’t seem to be the exact question. Beckham was recently asked if he knew what Jackson’s future holds. The newest Ravens receiver doesn’t have the answer. But he does want Jackson to know that he would love the opportunity to link up on the football field.

“Lamar, if you’re listening, I’d love to get to work with you,” Beckham said. Beckham’s comments were heard by the media during the star’s first appearance in Baltimore. Jackson voiced his happiness at the Ravens signing of Beckham over Twitter. In the past, Jackson has had some frustrations with the organization over the handling of the receiver position. The Ravens have not drafted one Pro Bowl in the organization’s history. Adding Beckham to the offense would for sure put confidence in Jackson’s trust in the franchise.

Odell Beckham Hopes To Share Field With Jackson

However, even with Beckham’s talent, there are still questions. For one, is Beckham going to be healthy this upcoming season? Beckham was last seen during the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl victory back in 2022. The star receiver was on pace to have a monster game. Potentially making a solid case for Super Bowl MVP. However, a freak knee injury ended Beckham’s. Also, the injury sidelined Beckham for the entire 2022-23 season. Having the receiver in full health will be vital to the team’s success.

With everything thrown his way, it seems Odell Beckham is ready to join the Ravens. The former LSU Tiger should already be familiar with the AFC North. Beckham spent a short stint with the Cleveland Browns. However, injuries and distrust within the organization made Beckham’s time in Cleveland one to forget. But now is the time for a fresh start. Obviously, getting the chance to play with Lamar Jackson could change the entire trajectory of the receiver’s career. However, will Jackson be suiting up for Baltimore this fall? Washington Commanders Officially Sold

The Washington Commanders have been officially sold by Dan Snyder. The deal was made official on Thursday. The agreement was made official on Thursday, with Commanders fans rejoicing. The deal is reportedly for $6 billion, with the new ownership group consisting of the co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and Magic Johnson. The sale has been a long time coming for Commanders fans. Snyder has been the focal point of numerous scandals throughout the years. Now the painful nightmare is over for the Commanders faithful.

It has been no secret that the Commanders have not been one of the most well-run organizations in sports. During the season, videos were shared showing the stadium basically falling apart. However, it seemed to fans that ownership didn’t care about their experience at the stadium. Ownership had no reason to care as long as tickets were still being sold. Finally, it felt like the frustration of the city had reached a fever pitch. Snyder’s days as the owner of the Commanders were numbered. Finally, a fan base drenched in misery can celebrate something positive happening.

Washington Commanders Find New Ownership

Six billion dollars is a hefty price. However, the value of NFL franchises will only go up with the dominating success of the sport. The NFL has become the most popular sport in the United States. The league continues to see betting wars to have their games on certain networks. Recently, YouTube paid a steep price for the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket. A subscription service that had long found DirecTV as its home. Now Sunday Ticket and the league will embark on a new venture with a popular streaming service.

NFL ownership is a billionaire’s playground. However, Dan Snyder seemingly ran a once great franchise in the Washington Commanders straight to the dirt. But brighter days seem to be ahead for the organization and its fans. The Commanders finished in last place of a stacked NFC East last season. However, the change in ownership could begin a positive trajectory for the franchise. For the latest news regarding all things NFL, keep it right here with HNHH.

Shannon Sharpe Reveals Team That Needs Lamar Jackson

Shannon Sharpe knows the talent that Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson possesses. However, it seems the rest of the league is too afraid to make a move to land the former MVP. On Thursday’s edition of Undisputed, Sharpe had one team in mind that would have massive benefits from adding Jackson. The Indianapolis Colts are in desperate need of stability at the quarterback secret. The franchise has even told the media they considered the possibility of adding Jackson to the team. However, the move was never made. Sharpe believes the move would be a perfect fit for both parties.

“They have a defense that’s ready to compete right now. They’ve been in QB hell since Andrew Luck retired,” Sharpe stated on Thursday. The Colts have been in a quarterback nightmare since the surprising retirement of Luck. However, that is to be expected when your franchise star abruptly leaves the game. But enough time has passed. The Colts quarterback play has hindered the franchise for too long. Plugging that desperate need for a talented QB like Jackson may just be the answer the franchise has longed to look for.

Shannon Sharpe Believes The Colts Are A Playoff Team With Jackson

The hesitancy on Jackson has been appalling by those around the league. Yes, the star quarterback has injury questions. However, Jackson, at 90%, is better than some starting quarterbacks in the league. The Ravens have stated they don’t plan on moving on from Jackson. The team recently brought in Odell Beckham Jr. to bolster up the receiver position. Obviously, the move was made in hopes that Jackson would happily return to the franchise. However, Jackson has yet to make a decision on his playing future.

Time is running out for the Colts to find a competent quarterback. But maybe the team is looking toward the NFL Draft to find their franchise quarterback. However, folks like Shannon Sharpe believe the answer is already in front of them. Should the Indianapolis Colts make a move for Lamar Jackson? Would Jackson make the Colts an instant Super Bowl favorite? Please give us your thoughts on the potential move in the comment section. For the latest NFL news, keep it right here with HNHH.

Jeff Bezos Won’t Join Commaders Bidding War

There has been much speculation over the next owners of the Washington Commanders. After long-time owner Dan Synder officially put the team up for sale, a number of parties have expressed their interest. Official bids have been submitted by Sixers owner Josh Harris, whose ownership group includes Magic Johnson, as well as Canadian billionaire Steve Apostolopoulos. Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta has also submitted a $5.6 billion bid, which would be lower than the reported $6 billion offered by other groups.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has long been linked to the sale of the Commanders. The third-richest man in the world has long resided in Washington and owns the legacy newspaper, The Washington Post. He has long been considered a potential bidder. However, drama emerged last month when sources claimed the Synders had blocked Bezos from bidding. The Synders have denied this claim. It is known that a third, anonymous group toured the Commanders’ facilities along with Harris and Apostolopoulos. But whether that was Bezos, or another ownership group, is unknown.

Bezos Out According To Sources

First reported by Teddy Schleifer at Puck, Bezos is officially out of the running for the Commanders ownership. Bezos had been seriously considering making an offer, going as far as to hire Allen & Co. to explore the feasibility of making a bid. At one point in the proceedings, Jay-Z was reportedly part of Bezos’ group. Despite the heavy circulation of the rumor, that was later proven false. However, according to Schleifer’s sources, Bezos will not be submitting a formal bid. A reason for why Bezos is pulling out was not given.

That leaves the bids by Harris and Apostolopoulos as the two front-runners. Both bids are said to be of equal value, meaning it will be down to the Synders to decide the organization’s future. It is unlikely that the sale of the team will occur before the 2023 NFL season. Furthermore, the sale will likely be delayed until the 2024 off-season to minimize the impact on the team. The sale will end a tumultuous ownership saga for Synder, who has consistently drawn negative headlines during his tenure. Most recently, Synder faced the wrath of his fellow NFL owners after it was revealed he had been cooking the Commanders books to withhold money from the NFL’s revenue-sharing scheme. On the field, the Commanders are looking to rebuild after failing to post a winning record for the sixth consecutive season in 2022.

Colts Avoid Questions About Lamar Jackson

The Indianapolis Colts are the team that has been most closely associated with acquiring Lamar Jackson. On paper, the fit makes sense. Indianapolis does not have a rostered quarterback considered a long-term NFL starter. The team has run a rush-heavy offense in recent seasons behind Jonathan Taylor. New head coach Shane Steichen is an offensive specialist with quarterback-specific experience. All the pieces are there for Jackson to thrive in Indianapolis.

However, acquiring Lamar Jackson is not simple. A trade would likely come at a steep price, despite Jackson’s impasse with the Ravens. Giving him an offer sheet reveals a team’s hand to the Ravens about what people are willing to pay for Jackson. Finally, the Ravens just picked up a high-caliber wide receiver in Odell Beckham Jr. While the fit for Jackson and the Colts may be strong, it’s another question about getting him there.

“We’re Focused On The Draft”

In a media session Wednesday, Colts management avoided questions about Jackson. “We’re focused on the draft and I’m focused on the guys that are in the building right now. That’s where we’re at,” Steichen told reporters. The Colts began their offseason program this week and while it is early days, it does start a timer on just how long they could hold out for Jackson. Sooner or later, they will have to make a call about who is their 2023 starting quarterback.

Another factor to consider, and one alluded to by Steichen, is the draft. If the Colts signed Jackson via an unmatched offer sheet, they would have to give the Ravens two first-round picks. Colts owner Jim Irsay was opposed to giving up that much capital. “Our belief, and my belief, has always been you build through the draft, the draft is your pipeline for success or failure,” Irsay said. The Colts currently hold the fourth overall pick in the upcoming draft. Most mock drafts project them selecting the best quarterback available at that spot. That would likely see Kentucky’s Will Levis or Florida’s Anthony Richardson head to Lucas Oil stadium. However, the Colts-Jackson rumors will not abate until the Colts finally announced their QB1.
