Dak Prescott Sues Sexual Assault Accuser, Claims Extortion

Dak Prescott has filed a lawsuit, alleging that a woman accusing him of sexual assault is attempting to extort $100M from him. Prescott is seeking $1M in damages, which he will donate to a charity that aids sexual violence survivors. The allegations of sexual assault emerged earlier this year. Prescott was served notice by attorneys representing a woman who was accusing him of assault in 2017. “Despite the tragic events, she is willing to forego pursuing criminal charges, along with disclosing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered. [The woman’s] damages are valued at the sum of $100,000,000.00,” the letter read.

However, Prescott – who was in his sophomore NFL season in 2017 – has vehemently denied the allegations. “Mr. Prescott — a new father to a baby girl — has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault. He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. To be clear, Mr. Prescott has never engaged in any nonconsensual, sexual conduct with anyone. Lies hurt. Especially, malicious lies. We will not allow the defendant and her legal team to profit from this attempt to extort millions from Mr. Prescott,” his attorney said.

Cowboys Cheerleaders Accuse Packers Players Of “Unsportsmanlike Conduct”

Elsewhere, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has spoken out over what she called “unsportsmanlike conduct” on the part of the Green Bay Packers. “I have never experienced such disrespect from the other teams’ players to the cheerleaders in my five years as an NFL cheerleader. We would literally be minding our own business and the Packers just scored a touchdown — this is one example. They would come up to us standing on the sidelines minding our own business and start yelling at us,” Darian Lassiter said on TikTok.

Furthermore, Lassiter questioned why cheerleaders were not covered by rules addressing player behavior. “I feel like it’s unsportsmanlike conduct. And it’s so crazy how they can’t do that to the Cowboys players or any other players. But they can do it to the cheerleaders and nothing’s going to happen. I understand the playoffs is a huge deal. While I truly get it, that does not mean your humbleness and respect for women flies out the window.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr has revealed that New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on his shortlist of Vice President nominees. The controversial Democrat, and nephew of JFK, has launched an independent presidential bid after failing to mount a challenge against Joe Biden. Rodgers’ name is near the top of a list that also includes former Minnesota Governor, and WWE legend, Jesse Ventura. RFK Jr and Rodgers reportedly “speak frequently” and hold very similar anti-vaccine beliefs.

Of course, being nominated as a vice-presidential candidate could deal Rodgers’ return to the NFL. While Kennedy is a long-shot candidate, it would be expected that Rodgers would appear on the campaign trail. That might put him at odds with the Jets, who are expecting him to be QB1 come the fall. Rodgers has never spoken publicly about running for office. Jets owner Woody Johnson is a major donor for Donald Trump and previously served as Trump’s ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Aaron Rodgers Quietly Removed From The Pat McAfee Show

However, Rodgers has already cemented himself as something of a controversial character. Earlier this year, Rodgers was quietly removed from his weekly spot on The Pat McAfee Show. The news came after Rodgers pointedly refused to apologize to Jimmy Kimmel. Rodgers, who had implied that Kimmel did not want the list of people who had traveled to Jeffrey Epstein’s island to be made public, argued that he never actually made any specific assertions about Kimmel. Per The Athletic, the decision to remove Rodgers was made by McAfee and not mandated by ESPN.

After Rodgers’ initial comments, McAfee tried to clear the air between the long-time rivals. While discussing Rodgers’ claims about Jimmy Kimmel, McAfee said that Rodgers’ comments were “certainly probably just a sh-t talk joke” and that everyone involved should just move on. The New England Patriots continue to clean house as ESPN reports the team intends to trade embattled quarterback Mac Jones. Pending a physical, Jones will head to the Jaguars for a sixth-round pick. In Jacksonville, he will compete to be the primary backup for fellow 2021 first-round pick Trevor Lawrence. The trade, which cannot be finalized until the new NFL year starts on Wednesday, ends a tumultuous three years in Foxboro for Jones. Despite making waves late in his college career at Alabama, many experts were surprised to see the Patriots take him 15th overall in 2021.

Jones threw for nearly 4000 yards in his rookie year before drastically declining. He failed to surpass 3000 yards in his sophomore season and was benched for Bailey Zappe after 11 games of the 2023 season. While Jones’ development was undoubtedly affected by the departure of Josh McDaniels, he also suffered from the Alabama Curse. Teams continue to seemingly overvalue Crimson Tide QBs, often putting undue pressure on players at the NFL level. However, this is not the first time that Williams have run a wild 40-yard dash. In January, Footage emerged appearing to back up Williams’ claim on Club Shay Shay suggesting that he can run a sub-4.50 40-yard dash. In the video, Williams is seen running the 40-yard dash in 4.47. That’s the same time that first-round pick Sauce Gardner ran in 2022. It appears that Williams wasn’t kidding about keeping himself in good shape. However, fans used the video to further the beef between Williams and Kevin Hart. Hart injured himself in August 2023 while trying to beat a former NFL player in a foot race.
