Tua Tagovailoa Injury: NFLPA To Explore Legal Options

Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins suffered a bad head injury last night and if you were watching the game on TV, then you would know that the aftermath was scary. He ended up going into a fencing position and was unable to get up on his own. Team doctors took him off on a stretcher where he was then brought to a nearby hospital.

Eventually, Tua was allowed out of the hospital and he had to wear a neckbrace while traveling home with his team. Of course, this injury is made worse by the face that he injured his head last week. The team insisted he was fine, but it is clear that he wasn’t.

Now, the NFLPA is looking into legal action, as this could be malpractice on the part of the Dolphins. The NFLPA is there to protect the players, and sometimes, these players need to be protected by their teams, who only operate within their best interests. Most of the time, that means compromising the health of players, which you never want to see.

It remains to be seen what the NFLPA’s options will be, especially since an investigation claims that Tua was placed through the proper protocols.

Tua Tagovailoa’s Devastating Injury Has NFL Fans Livid With The Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa suffered a frightening head injury last night and it was one that certainly had fans praying for his health. Last week, Tua had been cleared after undergoing concussion protocol, however, there were many throughout the league who felt like this was a hasty decision that didn’t make a lot of sense.

These fears were ultimately confirmed last night as Tua was taken down to the ground by a Bengals lineman. It seemed like your typical hit, although Tagovailoa eventually went into a fencing position which is when your hands and fingers freeze in place. This is a neurological response to brain trauma, and the Amazon broadcast continued to show close-ups.

In the aftermath of this hit, Tua was taken to the hospital and was subsequently discharged. He was allowed to travel home with his teammates, although the Miami Dolphins are not looking good in the eyes of football fans and analysts right now.

Many took to Twitter to criticize the Dolphins, and for the most part, fans want to see some sort of punishment. “The Miami Dolphins should be severely punished the way they mishandled the Tua Tagovailoa injury. At a minimum, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should take away a 1st Rd draft pick. A clear message needs to be sent to a rogue organization like the Dolphins. Someone could die!!” one fan wrote.

One reporter from Canada wrote “Anyone who didn’t think Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion last week was either incredibly naive, incompetent or just plain stupid. It was huge negligence on behalf of the Miami Dolphins which was confirmed tonight once & for all in front of everyone to see. Very, very sad.”

No matter what, this is a very sad situation, and we wish Tua nothing but the best, moving forward.

Tua Tagovailoa Suffers Frightening Head Injury

Last weekend, Tua Tagovailoa suffered what appeared to be a concussion against the Buffalo Bills. He fell to the ground on two separate occasions, and he was ultimately taken to the locker room for concussion protocols. Eventually, Tua was cleared and the Dolphins told the media that he had back and ankle issues.

On Thursday night, the Dolphins became the subject of intense scrutiny as Tua went down with another head injury, although this time it was gruesome. As you can see in the clip below, Tua’s hands and fingers were frozen in a fencing position which is typical of someone who just sustained a traumatic brain injury.

Tua was then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he received treatment for his condition. The quarterback was unable to leave the field on his own, and he arrived at the hospital via ambulance.

Thankfully, Tua was released from the hospital and was able to walk under his own power. He is even flying home with the team, which is very good news.

Regardless, this is a horrible look for the Miami Dolphins franchise. They failed to protect their star quarterback, and this could very well have dire consequences for not just their season, but for Tua’s career as a whole.

Skip Bayless Claims Patrick Mahomes Is Worst Thrower He’s Ever Seen

Skip Bayless is almost cartoonish in the way he hates certain athletes. There is an argument to be made that Bayless sometimes purposely lies about certain guys just so that he can win a debate. The best examples of this are LeBron James and Aaron Rodgers, who Bayless seems to hate with a burning passion.

Another athlete that can be added to this list is Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes is one of the best QBs in the entire NFL and he has shown the world just how good he is. Despite that, Mahomes catches quite a bit of flack from Bayless, especially on Thursday as Bayless had a scathing critique of the Chiefs superstar.

While comparing Brady to Mahomes, Bayless tried to say that Mahomes is one of the worst throwers in the history of the NFL. If you know anything about football, you quickly realize how preposterous this statement is.

“Brady was graded No. 1 in the league last year, I guess he just fell off…Mahomes is one of the worst throwers I’ve ever witnessed,” Skip said. “The Chiefs just lost to the Colts, who looked pathetic. It’s Saturday Night Live-ish to me. Patrick Mahomes has the worse footwork aside from Aaron Rodgers.

Mahomes and Brady will play each other on Sunday night, and it is sure to be a good game. Brady has largely struggled this season, while Mahomes has been pretty good, albeit there have been signs of weakness.
