Recently a clip went viral both in those circles and among rap communities that claimed to be Sexyy Red getting in a heated conflict. The twist was that it took place when she was in high school, so it was difficult to verify. But Red herself actually chimed in confirming the authenticity of the video in a new response tweet.

“Been on Det!!!!” she said in a quote tweet to the initial viral post. While the original tweet itself tallied more than 35k likes, Red’s response racked up more than 100k likes in just a few days. In the comments fans react to how proud she is of the video of her fighting in high school. “Hoodie up so no hair pulling is some CLEAN work btw” one reply praises. “BOW BOW BOW” another fan hilariously posted referencing one of her hit songs. Blueface has confirmed that he will be preparing to throw down with Soulja Boy at Glendale Park at 5pm Pacific. Blue confirmed the news on Instagram with a brief video. However, it’s unclear if Soulja will be there. “Whether you be there or not, I’ll be waiting,” Blue said in his video. Blue challenged Soulja in the early hours of Sunday morning. “Soulja meet me tomorrow 5pm at Glendale park bro neutral area nobody hood or none bring whoever you want bro please show up an run my fade on sY,” Blue wrote on X in the early hours of Sunday morning. Furthermore, Blue also continued to bring up the fact that he had previously slept with Soulja’s BM. “This his Bm right here….shouldn’t have brought up Jaidyn f-ck n-gga….play this at the versus an it’s over,” Blue wrote on X alongside a video.

Meanwhile, Blue had Jaidyn Alexis throwing hands in Utah. After inviting a fan on stage, Blue immediately began to beef the woman before shoving her at Alexis. The pair immediately began to scuffle before being separated by security. This came after Blue bragged about how protective he was of Alexis. “When I heard the word “Jaidyn” come out his mouth now that’s where he f-cked up at that ones going to cost you every time 😂 I turn to a savage bout Jaidyn,” the rapper admitted. Skilla Baby has broken his silence on getting jumped while taking photos with fans. “I got a war wound,” the rapper said in a video posted to social media, gesturing to a bruise on his cheek. “I look like I’m part of a domestic violence,” he continued. “That right hook that n-gga throw is dangerous, tho. It’s dangerous,” he said as he spoke to a friend off-camera. Skilla also claimed that he would have fought back if he believed that it would benefit him. However, he argued that there would have been no purpose to him fight back.

However, Skilla also called out his attacker. “This ain’t why you no gangster, n-gga. But you walk up on a n-gga with a pregnant lady and some kids? Yo, you walk up on me tryna go live, man? Skilla’s comments relate to an incident in which he was recently jumped at a fan meet. The footage of the altercation went viral on social media. The rapper had turned his back to the crowd to light up when the DJ and security responded to a woman trying to get to Wayne. By the time he turned back around and had begun performing, the woman had already been removed. There were no other reported incidents from the concert in Vegas. Last weekend, Wayne performed during halftime of the Raiders-Steelers game.

DA Defends Use Of Rap Lyrics As Evidence

In a similar vein, there has been a lot of talk of criminality in rap lately. Fulton County DA Fani Willis, who has received a national spotlight for her role in prosecuting Young Thug and Donald Trump, recently defended her choice to submit rap lyrics as evidence. “I think if you decide to admit your crimes over a beat, I’m going to use it. I’m going to continue to do that; people can continue to be angry about it. I have some legal advice: Don’t confess to crimes on rap lyrics if you do not want them used. Or at least get out of my county. I’m not targeting anyone, but you do not get to commit crimes in my county and then decide to brag on it. Which you do as a form of intimidation, and not be held responsible,” Williams told reporters at the start of September.

Two notable examples of Willis submitting rap lyrics as evidence came in August. Willis submitted the music of members of the Drug Rich gang, who were accused of targeting the houses of rich and notable residents of Atlanta. Meanwhile, Willis also submitted Young Thug lyrics as evidence in the ongoing YSL RICO trial.

Ukrainian And Russian Delegates Fight After Flag-Stealing Incident

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is firmly in its second year. At the time of writing, Ukrainian forces are successfully holding a frontline in the far-eastern regions of the nation. After initial gains early in the war, Russian forces are currently limited to the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia. However, fighting remains fierce, with Russian state media recently claiming Ukraine had launched a drone strike on the Kremlin. Ukraine denied the allegations, stating they only fought in their sovereign territory.

A key aspect of the way has been supplies. While foreign nations have been able to provide Ukraine with aid, it is still a dire situation for the nation’s 43.79 million inhabitants. Tangentially, there has also been the issue of what Ukraine supplies the world. Ukraine is a major grain exporter. The European Commission estimates that Ukraine accounts for 10% of the global wheat market, 15% of the global corn market, and 13% of the global barley market. They could be a global crisis in regard to grain supplies if exports from Ukraine were to falter.

Ukrainian And Russian Officials Clash At Grain Talks

To prevent said global grain crisis, talks have been underway to ensure the safe passage of Ukrainian agriculture exports. The proposed solution would allow Ukrainian exports to cross the Black Sea. The Black Sea nations are currently meeting in Turkey to find a solution before the current grain agreement expires on May 18. While the main talks are occurring in Istanbul, the related Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization Parliamentary Assembly is happening in Ankara. During the summit, Ukrainian delegates had loudly protested as Olga Timofeeva, Deputy Head of the Russian Delegation and Deputy Head of the State Duma, spoke.

It was here that a physical altercation occurred between a Ukrainian and Russian official. Oleksandr Marikovskyi, a Ukrainian parliamentary member and economist, was posing for a photo while holding the Ukrainian flag. Valery Stavitskiy, the secretary of the Russian delegation, approached Marikovskyi and grabbed the flag out of his hands. Marikovskyi proceeded to chase Stavitskiy across the room, striking him several in the head and body before recovering the flag. Video of the altercation went public after being posted to Marikovskyi’s Facebook page. Additionally, the caption “Paws off our flag, paws off Ukraine…” was included along with the video. Beyond the viral fight, talks are expected to conclude positively next week.
