Suge Knight Says Drake’s Use Of A.I. 2Pac Is A “Bad Look,” Calls Out Snoop Dogg For Late Rapper’s “Downfall”

Suge Knight criticized Drake’s use of A.I. to create a verse from the likeness of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg on his latest Kendrick Lamar diss, “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Not only did he think using ‘Pac as a “pawn” was lame, but he also blamed Snoop Dogg for the late rapper’s demise and said putting them on a song together is a “bad look.” Knight discussed the track during the latest episode of his Collect Call podcast.

“Young people do what young people do. It’s y’all turn, but regarding the homie ‘Pac, he wasn’t no chump,” he said. “Putting him on a song and dissing Kendrick [Lamar] for everybody entertainment — that ain’t how it go. Then putting him on a song with Snoop, who was a part of his downfall and exit, ain’t ever a good look. ‘Pac was a king on that chessboard. He never was a pawn, so he can’t make him be a pawn now.”

Snoop Dogg also reacted to the track, sharing a video of himself on Instagram seemingly confused by the drama. “They did what? When? How? Are you sure? [Sigh] Y’all have a good night,” he said after the song dropped. “Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up? What the f*ck— what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night.” Additionally, 2Pac’s brother, Mopreme Shakur, told TMZ he wasn’t a fan of how Drake weaponized the late rapper for a beef.

Future & Metro Boomin Clowned By Drake Fans Over Tour Sales

Drake fans are clowning Future and Metro Boomin on social media for the sales of their upcoming We Don’t Trust You tour. According to Touring Data, the duo has sold 177,318 tickets across North America with 43.13% sold. The tickets for the tour went on sale on Friday.

Drake fans were quick to attack the two in the replies to the post. “Don’t y’all see why streams don’t matter? Touring is where the real money in music is. Your music can be at the top of the music charts but doesn’t mean people actually care about you.” Others came to Metro and Future’s defense, suggesting it’s only been a couple of days since the shows went on sale. “43% in 2 days means everything is almost paid for, it’ll be all profit by May/early June. This is good for a non-pop hiphop tour,” one user wrote.

Ja Rule Speaks On Rappers Targeting Drake

In other Ja Rule news, he recently had to cancel his performances in the United Kingdom after being denied entry. In a post on social media from February, he explained: “I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows this is not fair to me or my fans these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come… The UK is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records. Cam’ron Reveals What Caused His Beef With Nas & 50 Cent

Cam’ron went into detail while recalling his past feuds with Nas and 50 Cent on social media. Filming himself on a boat, he discussed how he ended up beefing with the rappers despite liking both of them. The comments come as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J Cole, and many more artists have been involved in feuds in recent weeks.

“Nas is one of my favorite artists, if not my favorite artist,” Cam began. “When Nas dissed me, that sh*t hurt. I was like, ‘Damn, we grew up on Nas. What did Nas diss us for? Damn, this is crazy.’ So when he dissed me for no reason, I’m like, ‘Damn, I didn’t do nothing to Nas.’ But it was when I just signed to Roc-A-Fella. And I was like, ‘Damn man. Do we ignore Nas or do we respond to Nas?’ To me, our back was against the wall because we didn’t have no platinum album yet. Dipset was just developing. We didn’t have no albums out. When we dissed Nas, that was our second mixtape. We put out one mixtape and then Nas dissed us. The whole second mixtape is because of Nas. But we had to do that because I’m like, ‘Damn, we just getting in the door after a f*cked up deal I had at Sony.’ I’m like, ‘Our backs are against the wall. I would never diss Nas for no reason.”

From there, he discussed his relationship with 50 Cent. “That’s why I did it because I felt our back was against the door. When me and 50 Cent was going at it, that was fun,” he said. “Shout to my n***a 50. We good now too. But when 50 dissed me, it started with an argument on the phone. When me and 50’s battle started, it was because 50 had said, ‘Koch is a graveyard for a lot of rappers.’ At the time, Jim Jones had just went to Koch and some other deals we had at Koch. And you know, Jim Jones is Dipset. So we sitting there saying, ‘Damn, he called Koch the graveyard and Jim just did a deal.’ So we got into a little argument on the phone. To me, all that sh*t was just music. Even when me and 50 spoke, we was like, ‘Yo, let’s get to this money because certain sh*t is music and certain sh*t is not music.’ When it goes past music, that’s something different.”

Kanye West Drops Official “Like That” Remix, Disses Drake & J Cole

Kanye West shared the official full version of his “Like That” remix on Sunday afternoon after premiering the track during an interview with Justin Laboy on The Download podcast the day before. With the lyrics to the song, he disses both Drake and J Cole and offers to join Kendrick Lamar in his ongoing feud with the rappers. Lamar previously dissed the two on his verse for the original version of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That.”

On the new effort, Ye raps: “Pluto sent the drones, it hit like Metro beats/ It’s a wrap for n**gas, where’s Lucian? Serve ya’ master, n**ga/ You caught a little bag for your masters didn’t ya’, lifetime deal, I feel bad for n**gas/ Y’all so outta sight outta mind, I can’t even think of a Drake line/ Play J. Kanye West Remixes Metro Boomin & Future’s “Like That”

The original version of “Like That” sparked a number of diss records, which have resulted in a hip-hop civil war of sorts. ASAP Rocky, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, and more artists have all come out against Drake. The Toronto rapper fired back with his diss track, “Push Ups,” earlier this month. In the days since, he’s been taunting Kendrick Lamar to respond. As for J Cole, he bowed out of the feud just days after dropping “7 Minute Drill,” which he aimed at Lamar. He explained his decision at the Dreamville Festival and took the track off streaming services afterward.

While Kanye is the latest the join in on the situation, he previously spoke out about Drake and Lamar’s feud after “Like That” first released. He ranted on Instagram at the time: “EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED KENDRICK ON NO MORE PARTIES IN LA. EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED DRAKE AT THE FREE HOOVER CONCERT.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Kanye West on HotNewHipHop.

Yung Miami Gets Called Out For Supporting JT Following Feud, She Fires Back

Last month, the City Girls found themselves wrapped up in a social media feud, after Yung Miami accused JT of sneak dissing her “for weeks.” From there, JT suggested that her fellow femcee was “playing d*mb,” and expressed interest in hashing things out in person. “I know I come off cr*zy but never in my life did no wack sh*t to this girl,” she also added. “She literally enjoys seeing me being dragged when ppl show me love she goes cr*zy & call it a hate train! But like I said we can sit & talk about it!”

Yung Miami then accused JT of “playing victim,” and claimed that her last two solo singles, “Sideways” and “No Bars,” were written about her. “Oh wow you’re really losing it!” she fired back. Shortly after, the two of them were able to work things out, and publicly made up. Now, JT is gearing up to release yet another solo single, “Okay.” She’s been promoting the track heavily on social media, urging fans to pre-save it.

Yung Miami Shows Love To JT’s New Song “Okay”

Yung Miami decided to hop online to show the song some love, posting a few lyrics from the anthem on Twitter/X yesterday. “I’m prettier than a mf hoes be looking okay!!!!” she wrote. Go suck some d*ck & get tf out my mentions,” she said. Clearly, she didn’t appreciate the call-out, and doesn’t plan on letting strangers dictate whether or not she supports her friend.
