Rihanna is opening up about postpartum hairloss. Speaking at the launch of “Fenty Hair,” Rihanna revealed losing her hair was “not on the pmaphlet” for motherhood.

“I did not expect it to happen in waves, either. I thought it would just happen and grow back,” Rihanna said.

“I learned to embrace that in itself,” she added. “That actually made me get a little more creative and clever with my hair stuff.”

Rihanna is broadening her Fenty Beauty empire with the introduction of Fenty Hair. In an Instagram post, she unveiled the new hairline through a brief video emphasizing the significance of hair for people of all ages and ethnicities.

Rihanna has been eyed for someone who should portray her if a biopic were to be created, Canadian actress Taylor Russell. Why? Because she has “a nice forehead.”

Speaking with E! News, Rihanna picked Russell, adding a few more details: “She’s, like, fly. And I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me. I want people to see me in that light.”

Rihanna has not forgotten about the music. Speaking on ET, Queen Fenty revealed that she is starting over on R9.

Rihanna Flaunts Natural Hairstyle Ahead Of Fenty Hair Launch

Rihanna stepped outside in New York City on Sunday while rocking a fur coat with her natural hair on display. The look comes ahead of the release of her newest beauty venture, Fenty Hair, which is available now via early access followed by a full-scale launch on Thursday, June 13.

When The Shade Room shared pictures and videos of the look on Instagram, fans had plenty of praise in the comments section. “Maybe she’ll document her hair growth journey with her products,” one fan wrote. Another top comment reads: “Best way to prove a product works is to start off short and healthy. Great Marketing.” Others came to her defense directly amid criticism of the look. “It’s the black women in the comments for me [eye roll emoji]. Very sad,” one fan wrote. “And you’ll swear it’s the white people/ black man who makes you feel uneasy about your natural hair. IT BE YOUR OWN! Smh.”

Rihanna Announces Fenty Hair Products, But Fans Just Want To Know Where the Album Is

Rihanna is expanding her business empire yet again. Today, the “Lift Me Up” singer announced the impending launch of Fenty Hair, the latest addition to her billion-dollar business portfolio, which already includes the lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, the Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, and a collaborative partnership with sportswear brand, Puma. She also announced the launch date: June 13.

Fans seemed enthused, but as with just about any Rihanna announcement in the past four years, they also met the news with an increasingly predictable response: More questions about Rihanna’s next album. “You releasing everything but an album!” wrote one fan in the replies. “Is this “Fenty Hair” the name of the new album or???” wondered another. Others simply expressed their excitement for yet another Fenty product to add to the collection.

Rihanna is Expanding Her Empire With Fenty Hair

The billion-dollar Fenty empire is growing, According to documents viewed by Billboard, Rihanna’s company Roraj Trade, LLC, filed two applications for Fenty Hair with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Friday, July 15.  Per the filings, the hair products will include hair bands, bows, clips, ribbons, scrunchies, wigs, curlers, pins, brushes, combs, and more according to the papers. 

The Fenty empire which is already solidified its mark in beauty and lingerie. The 34-year-old singer, mogul and new mom, made Forbes ‘Billionaire list’ and its ‘America’s Richest Self-Made Women’ list, coming in at No. 21. The publication estimated her net worth at about $1.4 billion, with much of that coming from cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and making her world’s wealthiest female musician, and is Barbados’ first billionaire, according to the publication.

As the news of Fenty hair spread, the fans went to Twitter to share in their excitement, and of course, we’re still hoping for the long-awaited album, Riri hasn’t released an album since 2016.

Rihanna Is Reportedly Preparing To Launch A ‘Fenty Hair’ Line

While the majority of Rihanna fans are waiting for a new album from the singer, as her last one arrived in 2016 with Anti, the long wait don’t mean that she’s spent the last five years doing little to nothing. Rihanna has been hard at work building her Fenty empire, one that began in 2017 thanks to the launch of Fenty Beauty. The following year she would start her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and in 2019, her Fenty fashion house was officially born. After debuting Fenty Skin last year, Rihanna is preparing to bring a new line to her company, that being Fenty Hair.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the singer filed a trademark application for Fenty Hair on March 3. The publication reports that the trademark looks to cover “everything from styling, straightening, relaxing and waving products, as well as hair color and even hair glitter.” The news comes after the singer decided to shut down her Fenty fashion house last month, one that was launched in collaboration with LVMH. Despite this, it was also announced last month ago that Savage X Fenty’s net worth reached $1 billion.

After hearing news of the new line, fans celebrated the news on Twitter and one support shared a great reaction to it. “Can’t wait to be around the house in my Fenty furniture, Fenty Skin on, in my Savage X Fenty, doing my Fenty Hair, wearing Fenty X Puma, while listening to absolutely NOTHING,” they said, throwing a slight jab at the singer’s yet-unreleased ninth album.
