Skai Jackson’s Baby Daddy Says He’s Single, Actress Claims He Was Hacked

Screen Shot 2024 11 17 at 12.10.25 PM

This week, Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson announced her pregnancy, marking an exciting new chapter in her life. However, the celebratory moment has been overshadowed by a swirl of controversy involving her boyfriend and alleged baby daddy, Deondre Burgin, better known as “Yerkky Yerkky.”

Pregnancy Announcement Met with Drama

Jackson, 22, shared the happy news with People, revealing her joy in embracing motherhood while continuing her acting journey. “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life—embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” she said.

The announcement included photos of Jackson cradling her growing baby bump, but the positive vibes were disrupted when a Facebook post allegedly written by Burgin surfaced. The post read: “On woop im salty i got this dumb a* Disney Chanel (sic) bh pregnant I hate this h.”

Skai Defends Yerkky

The post went viral after being shared by blogger Tasha K, prompting Skai and her mother, Kiya Cole, to step in. Both women adamantly denied Burgin’s involvement, claiming his Facebook account had been hacked. “His page was hacked! He never said this. End of story,” Skai wrote, with her mother adding, “HE NEVER SAID THIS!!!! Stop being messy!!!”

The post has since been deleted, and subsequent updates on the account showed photos of Skai with a heart emoji, adding to the confusion.

Social Media Meltdown

The situation escalated when Burgin, known for his antics online, went live on Facebook to rant about Skai’s fans comparing him to her late Jessie co-star, Cameron Boyce. Burgin shockingly bashed Boyce, who tragically passed away in 2019, further fueling the backlash. He also used the opportunity to announce he was single, leaving fans questioning the state of his relationship with Skai.

A Complicated History

This isn’t the first time Jackson and Burgin have made headlines for their tumultuous relationship. In August, Jackson was briefly detained at Universal Studios CityWalk following an alleged altercation with Burgin. Security called the police after witnessing what they described as Jackson pushing her boyfriend.

Surveillance footage and a lack of evidence ultimately led prosecutors to drop the case. “This was nothing more than a misunderstanding,” Jackson’s representative clarified at the time.

Moving Forward

Despite the drama, Jackson appears focused on her future as a mother and her career. While she has not publicly commented on Burgin’s recent antics, her decision to defend him suggests a complicated dynamic between the two.

As fans rally around Jackson, many hope she can find peace and joy in this exciting new phase of her life, away from the public chaos. For now, the spotlight remains on the star as she navigates motherhood and the challenges of fame with grace.

The duo of Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg sat down with the New York City legend Ghostface Killah on the latest episode of the Juan Ep Is Life Podcast. The episode starts off with Peter praising Ghostface for the great quality of his latest album, Set The Tone (Guns & Roses). Rosenberg tells Ghostface, “Thank you for never putting me in a situation where I have to interview one of my heroes and pretend that their album is good.”

Ghostface revealed how he worked with Kanye West on the song “No Face” from the album. He said he got the feature shortly before the album’s release. Rosenberg noticed how the song sampled Ghostface’s chorus from the “New God Flow.1” collaboration with Kanye West and Pusha T and Ghostface said it’s an inescapable beat and that he loves it. He praised Kanye for his musical genius and how he works with other artists.

As they discussed his catalog, Ghostface reflected on how he didn’t like some of his projects, especially Ironman. “Coming off Cuban Linx, going into Ironman, it was down for me. Even for the beats, it was dark-ish, but I didn’t have the chance to really write because I only had two months to really get it done. And I think that’s why I don’t really deal well with deadlines now.”

They reflected on the song “Nutmeg” from the Supreme Clientele album. Cipha Sounds described the song as artful and should be labeled as more than rap. The interview closes with Ghostface, Rosenberg, and Cipha reflecting on Ghostface’s Hip Hop 50 performance at Yankees Stadium. The trio discussed the backstory on how a past Biz performance helped Ghostface figure out his set.

On this day in 1999, legendary super-producer Dr. Dre put out Chronic 2001, his last album before a 16-year hiatus. Containing some of the most known tracks in rap, Chronic 2001 has been extremely successful over the years. As of July 2013, the album has been certified septuple platinum, selling 7,664,000 copies in the United States alone and with the recent success of the film Straight Outta Compton, one can only imagine the increase in its sales that is to come. Dr. Dre is an artist known for the breaks he takes between albums. Chronic 2001, the follow-up to The Chronic, came seven years after its predecessor and although it may have been an excruciating period of time to wait, each project he’s delivered has been more than worth the time spent wondering what it would consist of.

The quality of work that makes up Chronic 2001 is epic. Of course, the production of this album is more solid than most coming from Dre himself along with Mel-Man and Lord Finesse, but the vocal features that were at Dre’s disposal due to his success at the time also helped to make this project such a classic. Rappers such as The D.O.C., Hittman, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Xzibit, Nate Dogg, and Eminem made appearances on this album. It would be an understatement to say that this project was an influential part of west coast rap and culture.

As previously stated, this album was widely regarded and critically acclaimed. It debuted in 1999 at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart where it peaked and sold 516,000 copies in its first week. The album also claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, #4 on the UK Album Chart, and #17 in the Dutch Albums Chart. As far as its legacy, the album has made its appearances on music charts worldwide since its release and is #17 on the Billboard 200 chart for the 2000s. Its hit single “Still D.R.E.”, is certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA and is a household name in the Hip Hop world.

Dr. Dre’s successes following this album are enough to make a second movie about. His influence on rap and rap culture spans a generation and his place in pop culture as a whole has been cemented due to what he has accomplished. We can only sit back and watch what the mastermind that is Dr. Dre has in store for us in the coming years.

Malcolm X’s Daughters File Lawsuit Against U.S. Agencies Over His Assassination

Malcolm X

Malcolm X

Three daughters of the late civil rights leader Malcolm X have filed a lawsuit accusing the CIA, FBI, New York Police Department (NYPD), and Department of Justice of being complicit in his 1965 assassination. The lawsuit, announced at a news conference in New York City, seeks accountability from the agencies for allegedly suppressing evidence and orchestrating a cover-up related to Malcolm X’s murder.

A Civil Rights Icon’s Tragic End

Malcolm X, born Malcolm Little and later known as El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, was a prominent figure in the fight for racial justice and human rights. He was assassinated on February 21, 1965, at the Audubon Ballroom in Manhattan, where he was preparing to deliver a speech. The 39-year-old leader was shot 21 times by multiple gunmen.

Three men were convicted for his killing, but in 2021, two of those convictions were overturned after investigators uncovered evidence that had been withheld by law enforcement. The city and state of New York later awarded the two exonerated men a combined $36 million as part of settlement agreements.

Allegations of Government Involvement

In their legal filing, Malcolm X’s daughters and the Malcolm X estate allege that law enforcement agencies were not only aware of the plot to kill their father but also actively involved in orchestrating and covering it up.

“They did not know who murdered Malcolm X, why he was murdered, the level of NYPD, FBI, and CIA orchestration, the identity of the governmental agents who conspired to ensure his demise, or who fraudulently covered up their role,” the lawsuit states.

The plaintiffs argue that these actions caused immense and irreparable harm to their family, including decades of uncertainty about the circumstances surrounding Malcolm X’s death.

A Call for Justice

The lawsuit represents a significant step by Malcolm X’s family in their ongoing quest for justice. It echoes a growing demand for transparency regarding the U.S. government’s role in historical injustices against civil rights leaders.

“The damage caused to the Shabazz family is unimaginable, immense, and irreparable,” the filing states, underscoring the emotional toll of decades spent grappling with unanswered questions.

Historical Context

Malcolm X’s assassination has long been surrounded by controversy and conspiracy theories. The release of declassified documents, coupled with the exoneration of two wrongfully convicted men, has reignited calls for accountability and further investigation into the roles various agencies may have played in the events leading up to his death.

For the daughters of Malcolm X, this lawsuit is not just about uncovering the truth but also about holding powerful institutions accountable for their actions. As the legal battle unfolds, it has the potential to reshape the narrative surrounding one of the most pivotal moments in civil rights history and bring long-overdue answers to the Shabazz family.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Lawsuit Over 1996 Allegations of Assault and Intimidation

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Rebrands Combs Enterprises to Combs Global as Business Portfolio Expands

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the influential CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment, is under scrutiny once again as author DeWitt Gilmore, known by his pen name Relentless Aaron, has filed a lawsuit accusing the mogul of assault and intimidation stemming from an incident in 1996. The lawsuit, filed after decades of silence, alleges that Combs and his security team physically attacked Gilmore outside a New York City nightclub and fired shots as Gilmore and his friends fled.

The Allegations

Speaking with NewsNation’s Ashleigh Banfield, Gilmore recounted the chilling night when he says he and two friends were leaving a NYC nightclub. According to Gilmore, Combs arrived with his bodyguard and began mocking him before the situation escalated into violence. Gilmore alleges that shots were fired during the confrontation, forcing him and his companions to run for their lives.

“We’ve all been intimidated by Diddy. Many people have been intimidated by this guy’s power and influence and his money,” Gilmore stated. “He could wipe me out in no time. I was afraid, to be honest.”

Breaking the Silence

Gilmore’s decision to file the lawsuit comes years after the alleged incident, citing fear of retaliation as the primary reason for his prolonged silence. “Ever since he’s been locked up, we feel protected. We’re no longer afraid. I speak for all the victims,” he shared, suggesting that Combs’ power and influence have intimidated others from coming forward in the past.

While the lawsuit is newly filed, Gilmore’s allegations add to a growing list of controversies surrounding the music mogul, raising questions about accountability and the influence wielded by high-profile figures in the entertainment industry.

Diddy’s Response

As of now, representatives for Sean Combs have not commented publicly on the lawsuit. The allegations come at a pivotal time for Combs, whose legacy in music and business has been both celebrated and criticized.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is no stranger to controversy, but his influence on the music industry and pop culture is undeniable. From his days as the driving force behind Bad Boy Entertainment to his ventures in fashion, spirits, and media, Diddy has built an empire. However, allegations like those from Gilmore serve as a stark reminder of the complexities of power and the unresolved issues that can linger in its wake.

YSL Trial: Prosecutors Finally Poised to Rest Case

Screen Shot 2024 11 15 at 2.38.10 PM

The YSL trial is set to continue next week with the final two co-defendants, Deamonte Kendrick (Yak Gotti) and Shannon Stillwell (SB), facing serious charges after four others reached plea deals. Both Kendrick and Stillwell are accused of being involved in the Young Slime Life (YSL) gang, which prosecutors say engaged in racketeering conspiracy, street gang activity, and various drug and gun offenses.

The trial initially included rapper Young Thug (Jeffery Williams), who, along with three others—Rodalius Ryan, Marquavius Huey, and Quamarvious Nichols—accepted plea deals last month. Kendrick and Stillwell were also offered plea deals but chose to reject them. Kendrick was offered a deal that would have reduced his charges to conspiracy and voluntary manslaughter, with a recommended 15-year sentence. Stillwell was offered a 40-year sentence and 20 years on probation, with reduced charges for two murders.

Several key witnesses have already testified in the case. One notable figure, Slimelife Shawty (Wunnie Lee), who accepted a plea deal in 2022, began testifying on October 23. During his testimony, he accidentally revealed an unredacted social media caption, causing defense attorneys to request a mistrial. The motion was denied, and Lee continued his testimony, discussing YSL’s social media habits and slang, including the term “SLATT” which, according to Lee, is part of the group’s lingo.

Prosecutors also called on other witnesses, including Antonio Sumlin (Obama), who testified that he never viewed YSL as a gang, and Investigator Marissa Viverito, a gang analyst with the Atlanta Police Department. Viverito spoke about the role of social media in modern gang activity, explaining how it allows gangs to communicate and mark their territory without the risk of physical graffiti.

Viverito’s testimony is expected to conclude on Monday, at which point the prosecution will rest its case. The defense will then begin presenting its side of the case. As the trial moves toward its conclusion, all eyes will be on the final arguments and any remaining evidence that may determine the fate of Kendrick and Stillwell.

SEE IT: 50 Cent Trolls Mike Tyson After Viral Jazzy Interview: ‘Mike ya scaring the kids, WTF chill’

Screen Shot 2024 11 15 at 2.23.25 PM

Mike Tyson is about to try to knock Jake Paul into next summer, tonight, Friday, November 15, but ahead of the arguably the most anticipated novelty boxing matchup ever. The boxing legend has been doing a lot of press and making waves for his recent interview with 14-year-old Jazzy. During the conversation, Tyson made some heavy statements about legacy, ego, and life’s fleeting nature, which caught the attention of many—including 50 Cent, who couldn’t resist mocking Tyson’s remarks.

In the kinda weird interview, and we’re not referring to the interviewer who has awesome as always, Tyson discussed his views on legacy, explaining that he doesn’t believe in it. “I don’t believe in the word legacy,” he said. “I just think that’s another word for ego. Legacy doesn’t mean nothing. That’s just a word everybody grabbed onto. Somebody said that word and everyone grabbed it, so now it’s used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me.” Tyson went on to say, “I’m just passing through. I’ma die and it’s gonna be over. Who cares about legacy after that? What a big ego. So I’ma die and I want people to think that I’m this, I’m great? No. We’re nothing. We’re dead. We’re dust. We’re absolutely nothing. Our legacy is nothing.”

Despite the what some would call deep nature of Tyson’s reflections, Jazzy held her own, responding thoughtfully to Tyson’s views and acknowledging that she had never heard such an answer before. Later in the interview, Jazzy also asked Tyson about his opponent, Jake Paul. Tyson didn’t hold back, admitting, “I don’t think much of him,” though he did acknowledge Paul’s sense of humor, calling him “very funny.”

As the interview went viral on socials, 50 Cent, known for his sharp wit and playful trolling, jumped in with a comment about Tyson’s intimidating tone. On X (formerly Twitter), 50 Cent wrote, “Goddam it! Mike ya scaring the kids, WTF chill. Note to self, keep the kids away from Mike.”

Get this, Tyson stirred up more headlines on Thursday, November 14, when tensions flared at the weigh-in before the fight. During the face-off, Paul accidentally stepped on Tyson’s toes, prompting the 57-year-old boxer to slap Paul across the face in a brief moment of fury. 50 Cent couldn’t resist poking fun at the incident, sharing a throwback interview clip where Tyson revealed one of his biggest pet peeves: people stepping on his feet. In the video, Tyson said, “If someone stepped on my feet, I’d totally give up and tap out.” In response, 50 Cent joked in his post’s comment section, “Step on an older man’s feet, and s–t can get crazy,” adding a playful “LOL” to his remark.

As Tyson prepares for his so-called showdown with Paul, it’s clear that while he’s focused on the fight, his recent remarks—and 50 Cent’s reactions—have kept fans buzzing with laughter and curiosity about the future of the legendary boxer.

LeBron James Ponders Eventual Retirement: ‘If it’s one year or two years’

Screen Shot 2024 11 15 at 2.11.57 PM

Father Time will eventually catch up with LeBron James and the idea of his swan song may be closer to than fans might think. After a recent game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies, the 39-year-old basketball legend gave a candid admission about his future in the sport. Speaking to reporters, James revealed, “I’m not going to play that much longer, to be completely honest. I don’t know how many years that is. If it’s one year or two years, whatever the case may be.”

What’s crazy is despite these hints at retirement, James continues to defy age on the court. In the same game against the Grizzlies, he made history by becoming the oldest player ever to record three consecutive triple-doubles. James finished the game with an impressive 35 points, 14 assists, and 12 rebounds, solidifying his ongoing dominance in the league.

Get this, during his post-game interview, James reflected on his longevity, explaining that his physical ability is tied closely to his mindset. “It’s not me, it’s the mind,” he said. “Wherever my mind is is how the rest of my body’s gonna go or whatever the case may be.” He added, “I said the other night, I’m not playing until the wheels fall off. I’m not going to be that guy. I’m not going to be the guy who is disrespecting the game because I just wanted to be out on the floor. That won’t be me.”

We all see that James is still playing at an elite level, he’s also mindful of his legacy and the need to step away at the right time. Beyond basketball, James is cherishing the opportunity to occasionally play alongside his son, Bronny, an experience he calls one of his “greatest gifts.”

When it comes to what’s really important to James, he reflected on his family life, adding “It’s always been family over everything. For me, I lost a lot of time because of this league and committing to this league. Being on the road at times, missing a lot of his things, Bryce’s things, Zhuri’s things, so to be able to have this moment where I’m working still and I can work alongside my son, it’s one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever gotten from the man above and I’m going to take full advantage of it.”

Katt Williams Owns a Pet Pig Named After Faizon Love That’s “Just, a real joy to be around.”

Screen Shot 2024 11 15 at 12.55.57 PM

Katt Williams needs to just stop, because there’s only so much laughing we can do these days. The polarizing comedian made quite an entrance at the GQ Men of the Year event on Thursday, November 14, where he not only showcased his usual comedic flair but also took the opportunity to troll fellow comedian Faizon Love.

The wild revelation all went down during an interview on the red carpet, where Williams deadpanned that he owns a pig named after Love, saying, “I have a pot-bellied pig named Fat Faizon who is like, just, a real joy to be around.”

Like, seriously. We need to see this alleged pig in action, ASAP. Are we talking micro pig? Full on hog or is does he even exist? Like does Katt own a farm? We have so many questions.

Get this, Williams’ somewhat playful jab was part of his ongoing back-and-forth with Love, a feud that dates back to a previous appearance on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe. In that conversation, Williams coined the term “fat Faizon” while taking aim at Love’s career. Williams mocked Love’s claims about Netflix specials, stating, “I only put on comedians that are funnier than me. Anybody tell you different is a fat Faizon liar… Faizon said that getting a Netflix special is easy. I have 12 specials, guess how many Faizon got? Zero. Why is he allowed to have conversations about real stand-up people? We do not let people who are on the juice discuss real athletes, that’s all!” Williams even criticized Love’s acting career, further fueling the rivalry.

ICYMI, the “fat Faizon” moniker, which Williams popularized, became a staple in their ongoing feud, and it was clear he was having fun with it at the GQ event. In fact, Williams made quite the dramatic red carpet entrance, accompanied by a troupe of country dancers, adding another layer of theatricality to his trolling.

Here’s how Faizon Love responded to Williams’ remarks through socials. He suggested that Williams’ behavior is indicative of deeper issues. Love said, “It’s hard to address lunacy, and hypocrisy, and downright ignorance. But it’s so funny how many people think this dumb, stupid motherf*ker is spittin’ truth. But that’s the internet I guess, you guys want to believe in something so bad. Listen to what he’s saying, he’s actually calling for help. He’s calling for help. None of the sht he says lines up with nothing.”

While Love dismissed Williams’ comments as absurd, the ongoing feud between the two comedians shows no signs of letting up anytime soon.
