While Da Beatminerz were responsible for all production on Black Moon‘s well-received 2019 comeback album Rise of Da Moon, it’s still been nearly 20 years since brothers Mr. Walt & DJ Evil Dee released their own proper, full-length album. Earlier this month, the “Boom Bap Ambassadors” turned the tides by officially announcing their forthcoming album Stifled Creativity and releasing the project’s lead single “Seckle”, featuring the “Blast Master” KRS-One.

Speaking on this legendary collaboration, Mr. Walt says, “We have had the privilege to work with the great KRS-One for over 20 years now and this is the song we always wanted to make with him. It is an honor and a pleasure.”” Black Moon’s DJ Evil Dee adds, “It’s always dope working with KRS-One. We always make those dope Boom Bap Joints with him. Word!“

Michael Blackson has an opinion on Beyoncé’s new look. TMZ caught the comedian at LAX and he spoke about the social media reaction, stating Queen Bey was just trying to give JAY-Z something different.

“Beyoncé is one of the most proud to be Black woman on Earth,” Blackson said. “JAY-Z probably wanted to see something else in bed. He can’t cheat no more. So now she like ‘listen, I’ll give you another woman.’ She doing this for JAY-Z.”

But Mike better hope Ms. Tina don’t hear about his comments.

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mom, is coming to the singer’s defense after haters were critical of her complexion in a picture from the Renaissance film premiere.

Beyoncé was photographed in a stunning head-to-toe silver look, which Versace created. Some pockets of the Internet questioned Queen Bey’s skin tone, accusing her of skin bleaching and attempting to be lighter in complexion or white.

“How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown,” Knowles wrote. “ALIEN Superstar duh! What’s really sad is that a white woman had the audacity to reach out to Neal Beyonces hairstylist she was from TMZ to say that the fans are saying that she wants to be white and she wanted to get a statement about it from Neal. Well that made, my blood boil , that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness.”

Beyoncé continued the silver trend of the Renaissance tour at the premiere of her movie, Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce. Hitting the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, Mrs. Carter had silver hair.

According to Billboard, Beyoncé didn’t walk the red carpet but attended the screening with her family.

Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, shared a photo of the stunning singer on Instagram. Beyoncé was then celebrated for Donatella Versace for the picture in which she wore a Versace dress.

“@beyonce, you are a vision in Versace. You are unique,” Versace wrote. “One of one, the number one, the only one!!! I can’t wait to see the Renaissance tour movie”

SOURCE SPORTS: Von Miller Turns Himself In for Felony Assault of a Pregnant Woman

Von Miller has been arrested following accusations of domestic violence with a pregnant woman. According to TMZ, Miller turned himself in at Glenn Heights, Texas, police department at 4 pm CT on Thursday (Nov 30.).

Miller is accused of showing, pulling the hair, and placing his hands around the neck of a woman during an altercation. The result was a felony warrant arrest. The incident began inside Miller’s Dallas-area apartment and stemmed from travel plans.

Miller allegedly became “visibly angry” after the woman walked into the home’s office and slammed the door. Miller asked the woman to leave, to which she agreed but wanted to grab some items first, leading to Miller pushing the woman, who yelled, “stop, I’m pregnant.” The woman said she pushed onto a chair, and Miller applied pressure to her neck for “3 to 5 seconds before letting go.” The woman stated she felt pain but did “not have difficulty breathing.”

Miller was also stated to have thrown the woman’s laptop on the ground and stomped it, followed by pulling a chunk of the woman’s hair out and causing her to fall. He would later follow up with another grab on the neck.

Officers noticed abrasions on the woman’s left hand and bruising on the neck, abdomen, and left bicep. Miller was charged with one felony charge of assault on a pregnant person.

Fat Joe Says He Lied in "95 Percent" of His Rap Lyrics

Fat Joe is speaking out about his rap lyrics, stating that he lied about “95 percent” of what he spit throughout his career. Joey Crack revealed this during a conversation about lyrics being used as evidence in the YSL Rico case on CNN King Charles with Gayle King and Charles Barkley.

“I’ve lied in almost 95 percent of my songs,” Joe said. “I’m being honest. I’m just being creative. You couldn’t build a jail high enough for the lyrics I’ve said on songs which are all untrue.”

He added, “What I am is a family man, the person who gives back to my community all the time, opens businesses in my community.”

According to WSB-TV, Judge Ural Glanville conditionally admitted 17 sets of lyrics that prosecutors can use as evidence against Young Thug and his five remaining co-defendants. There must be grounds to use the lyrics in court.

In opposition to the ruling, Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, stated the decision was against free speech. Meanwhile, the prosecutor saw it as deeper.

“Your honor, someone can look at that indictment and say one thing’s for sure, that’s not fantasy, people are dead and murdered and a gang exist,” said Mike Carlson, prosecutor.

Busta Rhymes has a response for Benzino, who was critical of the music video for “Luxury Life,” which featured his daughter Coi Leray.

In case you missed it, Benzino had a message for Busta, stating he should have reached out for the collaboration.

“The whole Busta Rhymes collaboration, he should have reached out to me,” Benzino said. “You don’t do no video with my daughter half-naked. You a grown ass fucking man. He should have reached out to me and said something. But it is what is. She’s grown, she can do what she want. But I wasn’t with that. All I can do is have my opinions from afar. Once they reach a certain age, it doesn’t matter what I think.”

Stopping by Way Up with Angela Yee, Busta had a response: “Benzino has my number and he knows how to reach me. You ain’t gotta address me about nothing on no social media ‘cause you got my phone number. I’ve never had to address him about a problem and there’s been plenty of different issues that we’ve actually went through that led to actual violence that we was able to resolve civil and respectfully.”

He added, “But the point that I’m trying to make is up until probably right now, this is not public information. I’m not saying this to promote the issue, I’m saying this to promote how the code of ethics was upheld and how we dealt with issues. We resolved it as men face to face. We wasn’t on social media, we didn’t talk on the radio.”

Is JAY-Z’s 14th Solo Album On the Way?

Is JAY-Z’s 14th album loading? HOV and the Brooklyn Public Library are auctioning off a trophy case highlighting each of his solo albums. From Reasonable Doubt to 4:44, that’s 14 albums. But the case has an open spot for a 14th entry. Leading fans to believe a new Hov album is on the way.

Previously, JAY-Z says he would never retire again and still wants to create music. But there’s a catch: he feels his music needs to have something to say.

Speaking to Gayle King for CBS Mornings, Hov revealed that he wants to create music, “but it has to be something important.”

“I don’t wanna just make a bunch of tunes,” Hov said. “That’s not gonna serve me. It won’t feed me, first of all – I have to be saying something important. It has to mean something, you know? It has to mean something to a larger society.”

Today in Hip-Hop History: Afrika Bambaataa And The Soulsonic Force Dropped ‘Planet Rock: The Album’ 37 Years Ago

On this day in 1986, the founder and leader of the Almighty Zulu Nation Afrika Bambaataa and the Soulsonic Force released Planet Rock: The Album on Tommy Boy Records. The LP was a collection of seven songs recorded by the group, with the main single being the group’s most recognizable hit, “Planet Rock.”

Members of the international music pioneers Kraftwerks as well as contributions from rap legend Melle Mel and go-go music icons Trouble Funk added on to the eclecticism of this project. Kraftwerks’ “Trans-Europe Express” and “Numbers” were sampled, or interpolated as it was done on analog, for the lead single and title track, which was recorded and released four years before the album dropped.

Salute to Afrika Bambaataa and the entire Soulsonic Force for this classic piece that will forever be a part of Hip Hop history!

Emmy-nominated educator turned entertainer Dee-1 is addressing critics and fans by releasing the official music video for his single “Lines Drawn.” Produced by Danny Beats, the track gained attention following Dee-1’s viral interview on Sway In The Morning, where he delved into industry hypocrisy.

Filmed by Jalen Hill, a student enrolled in Dee-1’s The Intersection of Hip Hop and Social Change course at Tufts University, the video responds to unfavorable headlines circulating online. “Lines Drawn” is the first release from Dee-1’s upcoming LP, From The Hood To Harvard, following his previously dropped album UNO. The track offers a timely and thought-provoking perspective as Dee-1 navigates through the complexities of the music industry’s contradictions.

“I did this song as a response to the industry being so shaken by me drawing a line in the sand and saying that we need some accountability for the messages we’re glorifying inside Hip-Hop. This is part one, there’s more on the way. A shift is happening from a genre and cultural perspective,” says Dee-1.
