Drake Created a Security Company to Protect His Home Around the Clock

Drake has created his security team to protect him. According to CBC News, The Boy has created Jungle Lion Security to protect his home after he was “freaked out” by constant visitors.

The team was created before recent events and is noticed by a white Nissan SUV positioned outside the gates around the clock. The unit was incorporated in January 2020.

An architecture firm delivered plans on why guards needed to be present around the clock to send to the city. He already had approval from the City of Toronto to have a taller-than-standard fence around his mansion.

“Everyone knows where he sleeps, where he eats and that has really freaked him out, us out, and we need heavy security outside,” Brad Rafauli, vice-president of Ferris Rafauli Architectural Design Build Group said during the filing.

Last week, another person was arrested after trespassing on Drake’s home. It was the third incident at the Toronto mansion in three days.

The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. local time, where a trespasser got into an altercation with security before police arrived. The trespasser was taken to a hospital for injuries sustained during the event.

Unwelcome visitors continue to visit Drake’s Toronto home, nicknamed The Embassy. According to TMZ, on Wednesday (May 9) a man was placed in police custody after attempting to access the sprawling mansion.

Officers were called to the Bridal Path home after a man was intercepted at the security gate and detained until officers arrived. The man was arrested under the Mental Health Act. Canada Global News reporter Tracy Tong revealed the man stated he was “here to see Drake” before engaging in a scuffle with security.

This incident happened less than 24 hours after a shooting at Drake’s residence. According to The Toronto Sun, the man injured is a 48-year-old security guard. He was struck by bullets while “standing outside the gates in front of the home.”

The shooting occurred at 2:09 a.m., and the injuries were considered life-threatening. The shooting was a drive by. One of the bullets hit in the upper chest. The man was transported to the Sunnybrook Hospital and is listed in serious condition.

After the drive-by shooting, a vehicle was seen leaving the area. Law enforcement is allegedly battling “video quality” issues.

There are no details on whether Drake was home despite being seen in Toronto recently.

King Combs must be inspired by all the beef in Hip-Hop. He hopped out on the beef streets, passing a track to Akademiks that targeted 50 Cent—yes, the same 50 Cent who has terrorized beef for years.

After sending a message to anyone saying “No Diddy,” he then attacks 50 Cent. You can hear it below.

…and then 50 cent let off the Instagram shots, writing, ” I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys. I never mentioned or posted anything about puffy’s kids 😳because KEEFE D said he killed 2Pac 🤷🏽‍♂️ LOL”

21 Savage is stuck between two friends, as Drake and Metro Boomin are currently beefing. If you ask 21 about it, he believes it will one day be figured out.

Speaking on IG Live, Savage didn’t want to talk about beef, simply stating, “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n—as going to figure that shit out eventually.”

Everybody is getting jabs in on Drake now. With Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” challenge taking over the net, Dr. Miami is making it the soundtrack of his office. Sharing a video on TikTok, the famed plastic surgeon has one simple request: “Play it again.”

Soulja Boy crashed out over an old Metro Boomin tweet. Way back in 2012, tweeted, “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down.”

That did not sit well with Soulja Boy. Big Draco would then went on the attack.

“Fuck is you talking about, Metro Groomin?” Soulja said. “You was lit about going to the studio with Jeezy, bitch ass boy? Stop playing with me. I had a number one in 2007 when I was 17, fuck n—a. You was still in elementary school. You was in middle school, boy.”

He added, “Fuck is you hype about going to the studio with Jeezy for? Bitch ass n—a, I was making beats for Gucci! I don’t give a fuck about no Jeezy, n—a. I was in the studio with Guwop at 18.”

He then demanded the tweet be taken down, which prompted an “Or what” response from 21 Savage. Soulja berated Savage, calling him a british rapper and stating he would slap both of them.

Taking it further, Soulja Boy then attacked Metro’s deceased mother with an array of Mother’s Day insults and more.

In the excerpt, Henderson admits she is uncertain about whether she ever truly loved her ex-husband, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. However, O’Neal’s response to the viral revelation was surprisingly understanding. “I understand,” he commented.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Henderson addresses the uproar surrounding the excerpt, asserting that her words were taken out of context. “My book is my truth,” she emphasizes. “Developing an opinion and a comment from content with no context will show you a lot of people’s intelligence and unintelligence, right? There was no context to just that one quote that I said, and I think that sadly, people are taking my words out of context.”

Happy 55th Birthday Parrish J. Smith, better known as “PMD”, one half of EPMD

EPMD, the famous duo from Brentwood, Long Island, New York, is an acronym that stands for “Erick and Parrish Making Dollars”. The group has been together for more than three decades from the infamous breakup in the mid 1990s. They are one of the most prominent acts to grace the culture of Hip Hop.

After the very public split of the group because of various reasons, PMD continued to navigate the careers of Hip Hop icons Das EFX, who he was responsible for finding, before eventually making amends with Erick Sermon to make another classic EPMD album at the turn of the millennium.

Parrish Smith continues to be a recognizable force within the structure of Hip Hop’s movers and shakers and his contributions will be forever etched in stone.

Today In Hip Hop History: Remy Ma Sentenced To Eight Years In Prison For Shooting 16 Years Ago

On this date in 2008, the Terror Squad’s First Lady Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years behind bars in a New York State prison for assault with a weapon, weapon possession and coercion for her role in a 2007 shooting.

Criminal Court Judge Rena Uviller said that the Grammy nominated rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith,  was “an extremely angry young woman whose anger is completely out of control,” before reading her sentence.

The July 14 shooting stemmed from an argument between Remy and her former friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, who Remy believed had stolen $3,000 from her purse during a night out in Manhattan. A struggle ensued between the women and the gun went off s the two struggled over Remy’s purse. The bullet pierced Barnes-Joseph’s colon and hit her rectum and sent her to a hospital for three weeks.

Prosecutor Michael McIntosh said that Smith had a habit of traveling with a loaded weapon and said something like this “was bound to happen one day.”

Remy and Papoose had planned to marry the day before her sentencing at New York’s Rikers Island Jail, but the ceremony was halted after a handcuff key was found on Papoose.
