J. Cole Being On “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU” Is Viewed As Him Double-Crossing Drake By Fans

Once again, Metro Boomin and Future have stirred the pot. They have been the ones who helped kick off piling on Drake and now they are adding more fuel to the fire. Kendrick Lamar sent some serious warning shots on “Like That,” but that was all the hating on Drizzy from WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The project’s sequel on the other hand, has turned things up notch. The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky took the time to get some things off their chest on “All to Myself” and “Show of Hands.” But some fans feel that J. Cole is also hopping on the Drake hate train with his out-of-nowhere feature on WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU.

He appears on the the last track from the first disc called “Red Leather.” On it, Cole further addresses the creation of “7 Minute Drill,” as well as his apology. “My energy was never on some toughest n**** s*** / I was just a conscious rapper that would f*** a n**** b****.” So, there were no shots fired at Drake on this cut. But the mere fact that he would go onto Drake supposed enemies’ record is why the community sees this as a form of betrayal rather than an exciting opportunity for Cole.

Fans’ Hilarious Memes For J. Cole Appearing On WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU

Twitter users have become comedians since this all animosity toward Drizzy started about three weeks ago and today has been no different. HipHopDX found some incredibly funny memes and tweets surrounding Cole changing up on The Boy. Things have also seemingly been awkward for the “First Person Shooter” collaborators ever since the apology. There were some rumblings that Drake was going to perform at Dreamville Fest earlier this month. But according to a recent episode of Rory & Mal, the latter of the co-hosts asked Drake if he would be going, and the response was anything but confident. “‘I don’t know, should I? ‘Cause it’s weird right now. Are we performing the record? Can we ever perform ‘First Person Shooter’?’”

What are your thoughts on J. Cole “switching up on Drake” for being a feature on Metro Boomin and Future’s WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU? Do you think Drake will respond negatively or indifferently to this, why or why not? Outside of the “controversy” are you enjoying “Red Leather?” We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Nicki Minaj Claims Other Rappers Featured On “Big Foot” Beat, But Producer Didn’t Clear It

Nicki Minaj is clearly far from done with Megan Thee Stallion, “Big Foot,” and this explosive social media tirade about this beef. Moreover, her recent Twitter Spaces session included some alleged background on this diss track’s beat, produced by Tate Kobang and ZellTooTrill. Apparently, the instrumental is based on a beat that LilJuMadeTheBeat (also known as Lil JuJu) gave the Trinidadian MC six years ago. However, she claimed that, since Lil JuJu is a frequent Meg collaborator, he refused to clear the song, and that other female rappers excitedly reached out to her to hop on this beat with her.

“Then you hear that, ‘Oh, that’s Doo-Doo on the beat tag, I know I can tell him what to do!‘” Nicki Minaj began. “So, she hear me play this song on my… you know. And everybody was like ‘Oh, b***h, put that out!’ So, she really hit Doo-Doo on the beats! Well, you know her and her team, and they have the same team. Think about it: if you’re not bothered by something, why would you stop that man’s money when I had that beat for six years?

Nicki Minaj Keeps Making Claims About Original “Big Foot” Beat: Listen

“Had my song done, it was a fun song,” Nicki Minaj continued. “I posted it, other female rappers said they want to be a part of it. I thought it was going to be very fun and chic. Y’all, they posted a stat about somebody and then they had to delete it in 24 hours *laughs*. Because now, the highest debut of all time for any female in Apple Music history is f***ing ‘Big Foot.’ Well, not Big Foot, it’s me, my song ‘Big Foot’ about Big Foot.”

Meanwhile, both songs are breaking records like these and charting high, but there is still no clear winner in the culture’s eyes. Many people disappointed by “Big Foot” still think it wins if the Houston MC doesn’t respond, some think that “HISS” was an automatic dub, and others believe none of this means a thing. Let us know in the comments section down below where you fall on that debate. Also, for more news and the latest updates on Nicki Minaj, stay logged into HNHH.

Peezy Enlists Ty Dolla $ign, Larry June, BabyTron, And More For New Album “GHETTO”

Peezy’s strong year continues with the release of his brand new album, GHETTO. It is the Detroit MC’s 22nd (!) project to date, showing how quick and hard-working he is to get material out to his fans. This fast turnaround is nothing new for Peezy, considering he dropped five tapes in 2017. For 2023, the rapper already has two other LPs out now.

The first of them was a collaborative effort with Baltimore rapper Yg Teck on February 17. That was a 15-track album. The second was a shorter effort, standing at just eight cuts. Interestingly though, it is also called GHETTO, which was put out on April 21. This newer GHETTO is more of a full-fleshed-out set of songs. None of them from the one back in April appear in this October edition.
