Fear of God Athletics, in collaboration with adidas, has unveiled its new partnership with Overtime Elite (OTE), introducing the league’s eighth team, Team Athletics. This marks a significant step in Fear of God’s commitment to fostering the next generation of athletes.
“Fear of God has always drawn inspiration from, and been guided by the spirit of sport, both off and on the court. We are excited to be in a position to tangibly reach the next generation through this partnership with OTE. Our goal has always been to inspire the next generation.  At a baseline through honest intentional product, we believe we can provide the team with the messages of purpose, confidence, and teamwork, which are foundations for the game of life and basketball.”

– Jerry Lorenzo, Fear of God

“We are thrilled to represent Fear of God Athletics in the Overtime Elite basketball league! This partnership goes beyond basketball—it’s about aligning with a higher purpose to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our players. The inspiring work Jerry has done motivates us, and we’re eager to see how our program can reflect the values that Fear of God stands for.”

– Fear of God Athletics Head Coach Cilk McSweeney

“We are excited to announce Fear of God Athletics as Overtime Elite’s newest team. Throughout our brief history, we’ve always approached teams and their identities in an unconventional way and have been intentional with partners who aligned with our vision around athlete empowerment. Jerry Lorenzo has created a beloved brand with a high sense of mission, and we’re looking forward to bringing our brands together through basketball, inspiring a whole new generation of fans.”

– Tyler Rutstein, Chief Brand Officer, Overtime Elite

The new team will be outfitted in Fear of God Athletics-designed uniforms and performance footwear, combining the brand’s distinctive aesthetic with functionality. Team Athletics is set to debut its look in a game against the City Reapers on Friday, November 8, at OTE Arena. Fans can catch the game streaming live on Amazon Prime Video.

This collaboration not only elevates the style on OTE’s courts but also paves the way for Fear of God’s latest innovation—the II Basketball, the brand’s first true performance sneaker, which will be fully revealed in December 2024.

Kanye West Spotted Out & About With Bianca Censori

After the couple appeared in skin-tight latex suits masking their faces at the Fear Of God runway show on Wednesday (April 19), some new pictures emerged of Kanye West and Bianca Censori ahead of the weekend. Moreover, Ye shaved his head and kept a bushy beard, which he displayed driving around town with Censori. A different look could mean anything for Kanye, but his controversies and desire for privacy doesn’t indicate he’ll be firmly back in the public eye anytime soon. Regardless, any peek at the Chicago artist will turn heads.

However, those peeks are now harder to come by than ever considering he deactivated his Instagram account. While many want him to make some sort of statement so he can return to business as usual, it’s probably best for him to lay low. Not only do people antagonized and legitimately affected by his comments deserve space away from him on the media, but it also might give him the time and energy to heal and reflect on his actions on his own. Even though the media will still cover and give updates on him, the 45-year-old probably benefits from not having presence of his own.

Kanye West Driving Around With Bianca Censori

In a twisted turn of events, past and future long-term coverage of Kanye West did and will do a lot of that for him, albeit without his input. When it comes to past explorations of his character, the documentary jeen-yuhs from Coodie and Chike is facing a lawsuit from a woman who disapproved of their use of footage of her. According to her suit, she was in an “altered state and not capable of providing consent” when filmed. Amid claims of emotional distress and damage to her reputation, she expresses disappointment in the carelessness of the footage.

Meanwhile, the upcoming We Need To Talk About Kanye documentary from BBC will reportedly focus on his blasted behavior more closely. Also, its producer stated that the film develops “revelations” about Ye’s recent actions and his long history in the public eye. Perhaps this will be a meaningful exploration of his arc and character- or just a puff/hit piece based on what we already know. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West.

Kanye West Turns Up To Pusha T At Fear Of God Runway Show

Each Kanye sighting is as exciting as the next. You never know what he’ll get up to. The Chicago artist has kept a low-key profile over the past few months, likely in an attempt to repair the damage he’s done to his reputation and bank accounts. The music industry, for the most part, shunned him, similar to the fashion world as a whole. With Yeezy down bad, the artist behind Donda definitely needs to do more than praise Jonah Hill to earn the forgiveness of the Jewish community and everyone else he hurt in the process.

Fortunately for him, there are still many in his corner. Jerry Lorenzo of Fear Of God appears to have plenty of love for the Chicago artist. Ye came through to Fear Of God’s runway presentation at the Hollywood Bowl on April 19th, 2023. It marked the fashion imprint’s first runway show. Though Ye was merely an attendee, his presence certainly captured the audience. The rapper appeared with his wife, Bianca Censori, masked up to the event in an all-black fit. Censori donned a skin-tight latex suit, with a similar color mask.

Kanye Vibes Out To Pusha T

Besides Ye, Lorenzo evidently pulled out some of his pals in the music industry to assist with his debut runway presentation. Pusha T hit the stage at one point. Despite the rumors of Ye and Push’s issues, it’s quite clear the former has no regrets about the music they’ve released over the years. At one point, “Feel The Love,” Ye and Kid Cudi’s collab track from Kids See Ghosts, began playing and the “Jesus Walks” rapper was catching a serious vibe in a face mask. He later removed the mask as “Blood On The Leaves” began to play.

Ye’s recent appearance at the Fear Of God show comes shortly after he quietly pulled out of the 2024 elections. After a tumultuous campaign run in late 2022, Ye apparently decided to put his focus on more meaningful aspects of his life, such as his family.  Adam Camacho, a documentary producer that Ye hired, said that artist told him that he’s “concentrating on the school, The Donda Academy, and my new wife, and my kids, and that’s it. I just want to be left alone.” Perhaps, Ye will return to the fold soon enough but some time away from the limelight might be the best thing for him right now.

A Contemporary Twist on Classic Silhouettes

Fear of God ESSENTIALS has become synonymous with updating classic silhouettes with contemporary details, and this collection is no exception. While some pieces may look familiar, they have been reimagined with fresh tones and subtle changes in construction. Meanwhile, the brand’s styles push them further into the modern category, making a statement while retaining their signature sophistication.

Considered Textiles for Timeless Wearability

One of the most impressive aspects of Fear of God ESSENTIALS is their focus on textiles. They use only the best materials, making sure the pieces not only look great but also feel amazing to wear. The Spring 2023 collection has an array of fabrics, including thick waffles, woven nylon, and Milano stitch

This range of textiles ensures the brand’s latest output has both durability and comfort, allowing them to be worn time and time again.

Muted Tones for Maximum Versatility

The Spring 2023 collection is mostly muted, with tones like seal, plum, sand, and light Tuscan. This subdued color palette allows the brand’s casual-yet-intentional tailoring to take center stage.

This is one of the reasons Fear of God ESSENTIALS is a go-to brand for anyone looking to build a wardrobe of timeless essentials.

Pieces for Everyone in the Family

The Spring 2023 collection will be available in men’s, women’s, and kids’ sizes, making sure that there is something for everyone in the family.

Overshirts, trench coats, and polo shirts are just a few of the pieces available. All products are crafted with the same attention to detail and use of considered textiles. Meanwhile, washed denim trucker jackets pair perfectly with classic jeans, and loungewear plays a predominant role in the collection’s identity.

Arriving in Two Deliveries

The first delivery will arrive on March 8th, with a second delivery arriving on April 5th.

This staggered release allows customers to buy the pieces they want and helps ensure they don’t miss out on any must-have items.

With Fear of God ESSENTIALS’ reputation for quality and attention to detail, it’s no surprise that anticipation is already high for the Spring 2023 collection.
