DDG Wishes He Was A “Deadbeat”

It’s been a busy year for DDG. For one, the YouTuber and rapper navigated his first year of fatherhood following the arrival of his son with Halle Bailey, Halo. He proceeded to announce he and Bailey’s breakup in October, and has since gotten into a bit of online drama with the Little Mermaid actress. He’s also been a frequent target for online criticism. This is usually based on his parenting skills or his former relationship. Apparently, all of this has started to weigh heavily on DDG, based on a new tweet.

Recently, he took to X to vent, and to joke that his life would be much easier if he didn’t have so many things going for him. According to him, this makes him a magnet for hate, which he’s had enough of. “Being handsome, rich, a good dad & successful is stressful,” he wrote simply. “Sh*t come wit unnecessary hate & judgement for no reason. I wish i was a broke ugly deadbeat dad.. U n****s got it easy.” Fans are sure that both Bailey and Halo are glad things are the way they are. They can’t blame DDG for feeling frustrated, however.

DDG Vents On X

After all, the 27-year-old recently admitted that he hasn’t moved on from his ex yet, despite rumors that he might be romantically involved with someone new. He was spotted getting up close and personal with Baddies star Ahna Mac for a video shoot, leading to rumors that they were more than just collaborators. DDG quickly shut these rumors down, however, making it clear that he’s focused on his family for the time being.

According to him, he’d even be willing to have more kids in the next few years with the “same person,” as he doesn’t want to have children with multiple people. “No, I’m not dating,” he explained at the time. “I haven’t moved on.” At the time of writing, Bailey has yet to address his remarks.

King Harris Opens Up About The Challenges Of Parenting

King Harris recently discussed the challenges of parenting in a video shared on social media, after welcoming his first child, earlier this month. He began by revealing that friends have been hitting him up joking about how little sleep he must be getting. Harris explained that, in actuality, he never got any sleep before becoming a father because he was always out working and partying. “But now, I’m damn sure not getting no sleep,” he remarked.

“This n***a be up every morning, and then around the morning time he likes to do that little live concert I be doing with him. And he like to walk around house, that’s what I’ve been dealing with!” he added. He concluded by promoting his Snapchat account.

Snoop Dogg Admits 2Pac Was A “Better Dad” To His Son Than Him

Snoop Dogg says that 2Pac played a major role in raising his son, Corde. He reflected on their relationship during an interview with PEOPLE, earlier this week, remarking that the late rapper was a better father to him than he was early on. He explained: “I was working on [my 1996 album] Tha Doggfather. So when [Corde] was old enough able to pee and all that other sh*t, I started taking him to the studio with me. … So I’m raising him around all of the homies.”

Snoop continued: “Tupac loved him. It’s like his nephew. Tupac was a better dad than me. We’ve been up here [in the recording studio for] three hours and we ain’t got him nothing to eat. It’s like I’m up here rapping and sh*t, I’m not being a father. [He was] training me.”

‘Pac tragically died in 1996 after a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. A year later, Snoop welcomed his second son, Cordell. “I put them in football, and I watched them work together. Football helped me to become a real good father because I was around other men who were single parents, or either had a great wife, or was a grandfather raising their son’s kids — so much I could learn from them,” Snoop recalled.

It’s not the first time Snoop has reflected on his relationship with 2Pac as of late. When launching his Death Row Cannabis products, he revealed that ‘Pac was the first person to introduce him to blunts, which he did at the wrap party for the film Poetic Justice. “That first blunt sparked a friendship that ran deep. We’ll always have his music, but this is another way I can bring what was meaningful to 2Pac to his fans,” he said at the time. Be on the lookout for further updates on Snoop Dogg on HotNewHipHop.

Offset Pays Tribute To Rich Homie Quan And Explains How Fatherhood Impacted His Music

Offset was one of many superstars in attendance at Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players 2024 event. During a brief interview with Kyle Denis, he let the outlet know that there’s a lot else on his mind apart from his upcoming third child with Cardi B. Specifically, the former Migo spoke on his love of Fashion Week, which city he prefers for it, and which songs pumped him up to attend the Billboard event. However, the most salient and compelling parts of the brief conversation came when he spoke on the impact that fatherhood has had on his musical and artistic endeavors, plus when he paid tribute to the memory of the late Rich Homie Quan.

First, Offset asserted that his experience as a father over the past 15 years or so (Cardi B’s third child will be his sixth) has definitely contributed to his creative process. “You know, it makes you grow up,” he told Billboard‘s Denis. “It makes you pay attention and switch the things that you talk about in your music, you know what I mean? It makes me give a little context to the music now.” Even though he and Cardi are no longer together, their family will surely continue to brighten their lives both in professional and personal ways.

Offset Sends Rich Homie Quan’s Family His Condolences

You can check out the full interview by clicking the “Via” link below.

Then, Offset was asked whether he has anything to say to Rich Homie Quan’s family as they mourn his loss. “I wish you guys some type of prosperity,” he remarked. “Some type of overcoming of it. Shout out to Rich Homie, man. That’s a day one artist right there. We all came up together in the same lab, in the same kitchen, you know what I mean? Trying to make it happen, man. That’s a tragic thing to hip-hop, man. Shout out to Rich Homie Quan, man. RIP to you and bless your family.”

Rich Homie Quan’s loss shocked the rap world, but in its aftermath, some healing could emerge. For example, Quavo and Offset seem to have hashed out their issues after this tragedy, and we hope that the late Atlanta icon’s family and loved ones can heal and honor his legacy in whatever way they see fit. When asked to define hip-hop in one word, ‘Set had a pretty spot-on answer that summarizes much of what he spoke on. “Culture.”

⚽️ Drake & Adonis Bond At Soccer Game After Kendrick Lamar’s Parenting Jabs

Kendrick Lamar had a lot to say about Drake’s parenting amid their viral lyrical battle. Luckily, however, it looks like Drizzy didn’t let the shade get in the way of his relationship with his child. Earlier this week the Toronto hitmaker was spotted supporting his son Adonis at his soccer game. He was accompanied by Adonis’ mother, Sophie Brussaux.

In a clip from the outing, Drake is seen standing surrounded by security guards and fellow proud parents, looking on as Adonis plays with a ball in the distance. He appeared to be in good spirits at the game, as did his child’s mother. This comes as somewhat of a surprise considering all that he’s been through in recent months. Aside from going head to head with Kendrick, and being ruled the loser of the battle by many, his Bridle Path neighborhood was also a breeding ground for drama last month.

Drake Watches Adonis Warm Up With Sophie Brussaux

Reportedly, a shooting took place in the neighborhood, leaving one of Drake’s security guards seriously injured. After that, various people showed up at the rapper’s front gate, allegedly trying to get in. His security even had to restrain one of them on the front lawn of his mansion, surely leaving neighbors concerned.

Ultimately, it looks like the “Push Ups” performer is doing his best to try to move on from all of the chaos that’s surrounded him in the past couple of months. After all, some wholesome family time might be the best thing for him right now. It might even help sway the public’s perception of his parenting that Kendrick left behind, though it’s unclear whether or not he took that to heart. What do you think of Drake showing up to support his son Adonis at the child’s recent soccer game? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Nick Cannon Has Testicles Insured For $10M, Secures “Most Valuable Balls” Title

It’s no secret that Nick Cannon is something of a baby-making machine, and according to Dr. Squatch, this means that his reproductive organs are worth big bucks. Recently, the father of 12 teamed up with the personal care company to get his private parts evaluated using their “Ball Valuation” tool. His testicles were assessed at a whopping $10M, something the Wild ‘N Out host can certainly be proud of.

Moreover, the company even officially took out a policy on his genitals through MMA/Momentous Insurance, proving just how far they’re willing to go to make sure that his most precious assets stay protected. In a statement about the impressive assessment, Cannon fired back at those who’ve criticized him for having so many kids in the past. He also confirmed that he has no plans of slowing down any time soon.

Nick Cannon Celebrates His Valuable Assets

“Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest,” he began proudly. “But I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids. Shoutout to Dr. Squatch for giving my balls the credit they deserve and hooking me up with the protection I need to keep this family tree rolling!” This isn’t the first time Cannon’s hinted at adding even more little ones to his family tree either. Back in March, the prolific entertainer made a bold joke about reproducing with Joseline Hernandez during a TV appearance. Unsurprisingly, however, it left their audience split.

What do you think of Nick Cannon teaming up with Dr. Squatch and testing out the company’s “Ball Valuation” tool? What about his testicles being assessed at a whopping $10M? Are you surprised, or does that seem about right? Do you think he should have a 13th child? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

G Herbo Asks Fans To Refrain From Requesting Photos While He’s With His Kids

It’s no secret that being famous comes with a lot of perks, but according to G Herbo, it has its disadvantages too. Boosie Badazz’s Daughter Toriana Gets Candid About Their Relationship: “I Don’t Need Him”

It’s no secret that Boosie Badazz’s family life has gotten complicated in the past, and recently, one of his daughters decided to open up about it online. Earlier this week, his daughter Toriana took to Instagram Live to share her thoughts on her relationship with the rapper. She revealed that while he’s done his part in some ways, it’s not been enough.

“‘You need your dad,’” Toriana read out loud, a comment that appears to have come from a viewer. “B*tch, I never said I didn’t. But it’s gotten to the point that I don’t need him.” She continued, arguing that Boosie had 16 years to prove himself, and hasn’t managed to do so.

Toriana Addresses Rocky Relationship With Her Father

While some note that the 16-year-old has a right to feel how she does about her father, others wish they would work things out, once and for all. Her livestream follows a social media spat they had publicly in July of last year. It was prompted when Boosie confiscated the car he had gifted her for her birthday. According to Toriana, he only took the vehicle back because he was upset she left Atlanta to care for her mother. He denies this, instead claiming that Toriana left “out of nowhere” after learning that her mother had filed for child support.

Things got pretty heated at the time, and eventually, the Louisiana-born performer released a song about the debacle called “Ungrateful.” On it, he throws various jabs at both his daughter and her mother. Toriana’s mother later filed harassment charges against Boosie, making it so he was no longer allowed to contact her or their daughter. What do you think of Boosie Badazz’s daughter opening up about their relationship on social media? What about her claiming that she doesn’t “need” her dad? DDG Hilariously Confronts Baby Halo For “Scamming” Fans: Watch

It’s only been a few months since DDG and Halle Bailey welcomed their first child together, and so far, the pair looks to be having a blast with parenthood. The rapper continues to show off his little one online, amusing followers with his new dad antics. Earlier this week, for example, he shared a funny skit in which he accused the baby of scamming fans out of their hard-earned cash.

In the clip, he picks up the infant and confronts him for accepting money in exchange for social media shoutouts, and not following through with his end of the deal. “If you need $2500 you can just ask me for it, you don’t have to scam people,” he tells Halo. “I let you use your Instagram because you said you wanted to look at your mommy’s pictures.”
