Jack Harlow and Druski are a great duo. They’ve teamed up for interviews, podcast appearances and pretty much everything else over the years. Their friendship is built on a mutual appreciation of roasting each other. Harlow has been quiet in recent months, but he decided to come out of hiding to absolutely dunk on his buddy via Instagram. Druski decided to do a little flexing on social media, and the rapper felt the need to come over the top rope with a hilarious, albeit savage comment.

Druski posted a couple photos of himself with the caption “Never needed no PR.” The comedian added a laughing emoji at the end of his boastful message, so it was obvious that he was in on the silliness of the whole thing. Jack Harlow really kicked it up a notch, though. He proceeded to pack three different jokes into one comment. “Or a stylist,” he wrote. “Or a trainer, or a nutritionist.” The rapper added the hashtags #INDEPENDENT and #SELFMADE, furthering the notion that Druski is not bragging about much. It’s a hilarious response, and one that was made in good fun, given the dynamic these two seemingly have.

Fans shared plenty of laughs in the replies to Rose’s admission. One user wrote: “Damn bruh you had that mf spending money on you and all you could do was give him kisses and asss grabs.” Another joked: “N****s not even paying for p*ssy no more …they paying for the illusion of getting p*ssy.” Others theorized how much she charged for the relationship.

Eventually, Druski confirmed they were no longer an item in July. “[There wasn’t] nothing bad that happened,” he explained at the time. “We just, you know – she’s a beautiful girl. This weekend, comedian, creator, and actor Druski hosted his first-ever sold-out comedy and music festival, “Coulda Fest,” at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The festival featured a star-studded lineup of live comedy sketches, music performances, and a heartfelt tribute honoring the late Rich Homie Quan.

Co-hosted by Druski and DC Young Fly, the event included surprise performances from GloRilla and Meek Mill and appearances from some of hip-hop’s biggest names. 21 Savage, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Kai Cenat, Soulja Boy, Young M.A., Yung Joc, Baby Drill, Roscoe Dash, Young Dro, Navv Greene, Yung L.A., Shop Boyz, Travis Porter, Rich Kidz, Baby Kia, DJ Unk, DJ Fresh, and Coulda Been House Season 1 winner Ugliest Rapper Alive were among the many who took the stage.

Druski and Joe Budden are in somewhat different industries and really don’t have any history together. However, they are now connecting for a new commercial. According to a tweet from a user who goes by SOUND, the comedian and rapper turned podcaster are essentially brand ambassadors for PrizePicks. If you don’t know, it’s a daily fantasy sports app/website that allows people to place prop bets on professional and college athletes from numerous leagues. However, you aren’t competing against other players, just the stats. If you pick the correct over or under for an individual’s numbers, then you win money. In the 30-second commercial, both Budden and Druski are trying to decide who they want to place bets on.

Ultimately, they go on to make the correct picks –with help from Joe– and they celebrate by chest bumping each other at the party later on. It’s both funny and cringe-worthy in the best way possible. According to Vibe, newcomer to the brand, Joe Budden, expressed his excitement about working with PrizePicks moving forward. “PrizePicks is fun, fresh, simple to use, and most importantly for me, not afraid to take risks. Nothing about PrizePicks feels like the old guard being run by old rules, they’re truly a great organization that isn’t afraid to embrace creativity and that’s paramount to me”.

Druski always has a one-liner ready. It’s the reason he blew up on TikTok, and why he’s one of the most recognizable comedians on the internet. Druski knows how to get a laugh, or to drop a quotable that will stick in the heads of listeners. Sometimes, though, the talent can backfire. The comedian sat down for an interview with V103 Atlanta on July 31, and his comments about his ex-girlfriend, Rubi Rose, proved to be more viral than he anticipated. Druski subsequently got on Instagram to clarify that he was joking.

Let’s start with the V103 interview. Druski was asked about his brief but notable romance with model and rapper Rubi Rose. He spoke highly of Rose, but when asked what the biggest lesson he learned from the relationship was, he had jokes. “When you have a beautiful woman, of that caliber,” he explained. “You better have them pockets ready… You don’t know when you’re gonna have to be pulling that wallet out.” The comedian went on to say that there’s no ill will between him and his famous ex, though. “She is a beautiful girl [and] she’s doing great in life,” he asserted.

In an effort to stave off additional controversy, though, the comedian took to Instagram. He posted an IG Story clarifying that he was messing around during the radio interview. “In the last interview I did, I spoke about my recent relationship,” he wrote. “And to be real I was trolling.” Druski went as far as to claim that Rubi Rose paid for a lot of their adventures as a couple. “She spent more money in the relationship than I did,” he added.

Speaking with XXL for a recent interview, Druski explained that he prefers to spend time with rappers instead of other comedians. “I’m a real person, bro. I don’t know. I’m more comfortable around [rap] artists than I am around comedians,” he said. “And I don’t know if that’s because it’s a competition thing with the comedians and it doesn’t feel like that when I’m around artists. I do feel like I have more of a friendship with a lot of bigger artists and just that community. It just is a natural thing.
