Every year, music lovers anxiously count down the minute until their Spotify Wrapped data is revealed. This year, Apple Music users have joined in the fun and Doja Cat was among the crowd.

Yesterday (December 6), the “Paint The Town Red” rapper shared her Apple Music Replay results over on X (formerly Twitter). With her top genres, songs, and album of the year on full display fans jotted down a few recommendations. Trolls, on the other hand, took issue with Doja Cat’s top genres (alternative, adult alternative, rock, indie rock, and pop), which didn’t shockingly did not include rap.

Now, Doja Cat is clapping back at the racially motived remarks. “You minimize blackness to a musical genre,” she wrote. “You are not the measurer of the black experience. You don’t know me and I will continue to enjoy and listen to the music I love created by all different races of people.”

After a supporter injected to suggest that Doja ignore the vile comments, she swiftly replied: “I have the freedom to give people my perspective in the face of ignorance, so I will from time to time.”

As Doja Cat’s remaining Apple Music Replay results, her top listened to artists included Connan Mockasin, Cigarettes After Sex, Adrianne Lenker, and Mk.gee). While her top played songs were Connan Mockasin’s “Why Are You Crying?,” “Lil Baby Crush” by Jordan Ward, Hemlocke Springs’ “Sever The Blight” and Rozie Ramati’s “Drown In The Clouds Of Dew.”

Doja Cat Hints At New Music In Cryptic Video

Fans have been patiently waiting for Doja Cat’s forthcoming fifth album. She hinted at new music on Friday (Nov. 22) in a series of new posts on X. In the first clip, captioned “Let’s talk about it,” she appears ready to speak but abruptly cuts off the video, leaving her followers clamoring for more. In the second post, she simply tweeted, “vie vie vie.” On Thanksgiving, she tweeted the word “vie” in the post: “tu es ma vie,” which translates in Spanish to, “You are my life.”

Speculation began in late October when Doja wiped her X, formerly Twitter, account clean, leaving only a cryptic post that read simply, “album.” In early November, she reignited the hype by posting what appeared to be a tracklist featuring 13 songs. The list, which she quickly deleted, included five-starred tracks that she labeled as her favorites: “Cards,” “Acts of Service,” “Make It Up,” “Did I Lie,” and “Crack.” She clarified that the songs weren’t in their final sequence, adding to the intrigue. The next album will follow her hugely successful fourth album, Scarlet, released in 2023.

With her knack for reinvention and a fanbase eager for fresh material, the upcoming album could solidify her reputation as one of music’s most versatile and enigmatic artists. Until then, fans are left piecing together clues, eagerly awaiting what’s next from the genre-defying star. Doja Cat is still riding the success of Scarlet, but she is reloaded for another album run. Hitting social media, Doja Cat revealed a run of song titles, some with stars next to them, prompting fans to believe another album is on the way.

In April, Doja Cat unleashed her deluxe album, “Scarlet 2 CLAUDE,” today via Kemosabe Records/RCA Records. Alongside this anticipated release, Doja Cat has revealed the music video for her latest track, “MASC,” featuring Teezo Touchdown. Directed and shot in Los Angeles by Doja Cat and Jamal Peters, the music video debuted on MTV Live, MTVU, and MTV Biggest Pop, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Last year’s release of Doja Cat’s fourth studio album, “Scarlet,” garnered critical acclaim and featured chart-topping hits like “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Agora Hills.” Notably, her single “Paint The Town Red” made history by spending three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, becoming the first rap song to achieve this feat in 2023. “Agora Hills” also clinched the top spot on Top 40 Radio, marking Doja Cat’s eighth No. 1 at the format and peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. With the release of Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, Doja Cat continues to captivate audiences with her innovative sound and undeniable talent.

In less than a year’s timespan, Doja Cat fans were treated to two albums (Scarlet and Scarlet 2 Claude). Despite the plethora of music, the “Paint The Town Red” rapper was notable missing from the 2025 Grammy Awards’ nomination list.

But that hasn’t put a damper in Doja Cat’s spirits. In fact, she has already begun to tease new music on X (formerly Twitter). Yesterday (November 11) that streak continued, this time with a collection of unreleased song titles.

In a screenshot captured by Pop Crave (viewable here), Doja Cat listed thirteen records; “Cards,” “Break My Heart,” “Take Me Dancing,” “Anything,” “Acts Of Service,” “Ain’t News,” “Make It Up,” “Turn The Lights On,” “Slow Burn,” “Wood Holly,” “Did I Lie,” “Crack,” and “Appreciation.”

It is unclear if these records are Scarlet leftovers, previously vaulted tracks, or the complete tracklist for her next body of work. However, did confirm that tracks were a cohesive collection. “Songs are in no particular order,” she wrote. “Starred my favorites.”

Those lucky tracks include the songs “Cards,” “Acts Of Service,” “Make It Up,” “Did I Lie,” and “Crack.” Of which, “Crack” appears to be at the top of Doja’s like list as it was playing at the time of Doja’s screenshot.

If past actions serve as a barometer, Doja Cat’s next album may not drop until mid 2025. As far back as March 2023, Doja Cat began sharing breadcrumbs about Scarlet, which wasn’t officially released until September 2023.

Doja Cat Sparks Album Excitement By Releasing New Song Titles

Doja Cat is back at it. The singer/rapper has been riding the wave of success brought about by her last album, Scarlet, but now she’s decided to bless fans with something new. At least, the idea of something new. Doja Cat took to social media on November 11 to post a series of unnumbered and unrelated song titles. It was initially confusing, given that none of the titles match up with previously released songs. It then donned on fans that Doja was providing a glimpse of what to expect on her upcoming album.

Pop Crave took a screenshot of the songs in question, which were originally posted on Doja Cat’s IG Story. There were 13 titles listed in total, which is more than enough to constitute an album. Some of Doja’s song titles include: “Crack”, “Break My Heart”, “Cards”, “Acts of Service”, “Turn the Lights” and “Make It Up.” The others listed are: “Take Me Dancing”, “Ain’t News”, “Anything”, “Appreciation”, “Wood Hally”, “Slow Burn” and “Did I Lie.” Doja Cat did not provide context for these songs. She did, however, provide a crucial clue two weeks prior to the release of these titles. She got on social media on October 24 and tweeted one word: “Album.” It’s pretty easy to put two and two together on this one.

Doja Cat Announced Her New Album In October

Doja Cat’s rollout for this new album has already different from the rollout for Scarlet. The artist claimed that she was in an “angry place” while making Scarlet, and wanted the music to speak for itself. She did very little promo for the album as a result. She said as much during a rare Present Space interview. “It’s sort of my ‘Why I oughta!’ moment of squaring up with everyone and defending myself,” Doja explained. “Telling myself that I’m here for me, not just for everybody else’s enjoyment.”

Doja Cat fans were disappointed to learn that Scarlet was snubbed at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The album was not recognized in any of the major categories, despite Doja’s success with the organization in the past. That said, Doja Cat was the recipient of good news on November 9. She surpassed Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to become the most platinum certified female rapper in Billboard history. She has 13 releases that that have gone platinum, with the most recent being “Rules.”

Doja Cat’s One-Word Tweet Seemingly Indicates New Music Is On The Way

In a tweet shared last night (October 24), Doja Cat wrote simply, “album.” That’s it, that’s the tweet.

The immediate takeaway from this is that Doja is teasing the release of a new album. It would make sense for her to have a new project set for 2025. Her past three albums — 2019’s Hot Pink, 2021’s Planet Her, and 2023’s Scarlet — all arrived about two years apart, so a 2025 LP would put Doja right on schedule.

A new album rollout would be starting from scratch, since Doja hasn’t released any new singles single Scarlet or the deluxe edition from earlier this year, Scarlet 2 Claude.

While it’s unclear if Doja actually has a new album on the way or has even been working on one, she has kept busy in 2024. Aside from Scarlet 2 Claude, Doja has also toured (and gotten pretty mad over a wardrobe malfunction and encouraged parents attending her shows to leave their kids at home), had a terrific Coachella set, picked a bone with Fortnite, got hacked on X (Twitter) and didn’t seem too bothered, spawned the “Ass-zilla” meme, returned from a social media break with a pole-dancing video, and on multiple occasions denied she’s secretly engaged or married to Joseph Quinn.

Yet Again, Doja Cat Has Denied Being Secretly Married To Joseph Quinn, This Time At Global Citizen Festival 2024

Although Doja Cat will make for a rather dazzling bride, the “Paint The Town Red” rapper has yet again let the public know that moment hasn’t arrived.

Yesterday (September 28), Doja Cat used her breathtaking performance during Global Citizen Festival 2024 to deny that she secretly married Joseph Quinn (of Stranger Things fame).

While singing her song “Agora Hills,” Doja Cat flashed her bare ringing then said, “I’m not married.”

This marked the second time Doja Cat brushed off self-inflicted rumors that the two were ready to or had already walked down the aisle.

On September 21, Doja Cat initiated the rumor by flashing a ring during her set at iHeart Radio Festival 2024. However, shortly after fans began to congratulate the rumored couple. In a now deleted upload onto X (captured by Pop Crave, viewable here), Doja Cat wrote: “No, I’m not engaged. Its. David Yurman ring with no rocks in it.”

After supposedly getting together back in August (no, thanks to Joseph Quinn’s Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp), fans have rooting for the pair. Neither have confirmed that they are indeed a romantic item. However, that did not stop Doja Cat and Joseph Quinn from gallivanting around Europe hand in hand following the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Doja Cat Addresses Joseph Quinn Engagement Buzz After Ring Video Circulates Online

Doja Cat’s past relationship with J. Cyrus was one that her fans did not like for her. But late last month, the rapper and singer was spotted with in-demand actor Joseph Quinn in the latter’s hometown. They were holding hands, going to concerts and bars, and just really enjoying each other’s company overall. This delighted her supporters on social media describing them as “mother and father” among other Generation Alpha-isms. Since those photos and inside reports, things seem to be trending upward between these two stunning celebs. So much so in fact that the internet thinks they are already engaged.

According to a report from Bossip, Doja Cat was one of the marquee acts at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend. During her performance of her Scarlet love hit, “Agora Hills”, she got down on both knees and positioning her left hand in a such way that would suggest she was flexing her flashy new wedding ring. A fan of Doja’s shared the video on X (Twitter) claiming that the two lovers tied the knot.

Doja Cat Shuts Down Engagement Rumors… For Now

Instead, it was a “David Yurman ring with no rocks in it”, according to a since deleted tweet from the hitmaker. While New York based jewelry store does sell some boujee pieces, it’s not one from that signifies a life-long commitment to someone. Given how short the relationship is, this doesn’t surprise us one bit. Also, we aren’t too shocked that she would engage (pun intended) in getting her supporters riled. Jokes aside, we continue to wish Doja Cat and Jospeh Quinn the best as they continue to grow their love for one another!

What are your thoughts on Doja Cat shutting down the Joseph Quinn engagement rumors? Do you foresee them tying the knot at some point, why or why not? Is Doja Cat heading down the aisle? Yesterday (September 21), the “Paint The Town Red” rapper seemed to be glowing during her performance at iHeart Radio Festival 2024. So, when she flashed a ring to the crowd fans were excited.

After being spotted snuggled up with Stranger Things star Joseph Quinn supporters drove head first into the suspected couple. However, Doja Cat took to X (formerly Twitter) to swift deny that she was in fact engagement seeming to Joseph Quinn.

In a now deleted post (captured by Pop Crave, viewable here), Doja Cat wrote: “No, I’m not engaged. Its. David Yurman ring with no rocks in it.”

During the iHeart Radio Festival 2024 broadcast, the details of the ring could not be seen. But based on Doja Cat’s pose and propelling of her hand led fans to assume it was the Grammy Award winner’s formal announcement.

At this time, Doja Cat nor Joseph Quinn have confirmed that they are indeed in a committed relationship. Although after the pair didn’t hide their public displays of affection while vacationing in London. Still, given their rocky romantic start, (which involved Quinn’s co-sign Noah Schnapp outing Doja Cat for attempting to use him as a middle man), an engagement would have certainly made the public embarrassment worth it in the end.

Doja Cat’s on-and-off again social media hiatus has likely been for the best. Between the overwhelming online harassment from fans to a full-on hack by Crypto Bros, it must’ve been a headache to live.

Now, Doja Cat has returned to X (formerly Twitter) in the most Doja Cat way possible. Yesterday (September 7), Doja Cat posted a sensual NSFW pole dancing video (viewable here). With no caption, users took a deeper dive into the clip to try to pick the mind of the Grammy Award winner. While many of the guesses were certainly wrong, the most hilarious crack at decoding the post was “Doja Cat is pushing forth a public service announcement about literacy,” which makes sense given it was National Read A Book Day.

“Reading is fundamental,” wrote one user.

Dressed in her preppiest school girl getup with color coordinated glasses, Doja Cat maintains balance on the pole as she reads the book of her choice. There is no method to Doja Cat’s online madness just troll-like antics users can’t help but laugh along with. This clip is sure to become a viral GIF or meme in a matter of hours, similar to the fan dubbed Ass-Zilla photo Doja Cat reposted back in April.

In her offline time, things are much more demure. After being spotted holding hands abroad, the “Masc” rapper seemingly confirmed that she’s in a budding romance with Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn.
