Lori Harvey Seemingly Denies Dating Diddy & His Son Justin

She’s laying some rumors to rest, and people believe Lori Harvey is addressing gossip about Diddy. In the summer of 2019, Diddy and Harvey emerged with their unlikely romance. The pair didn’t speak about their union, but they were photographed jet-setting from one end of the world to another. Paparazzi were on their heels at every turn, prompting social media to erupt about Harvey’s alleged dating past.

It was speculated that before her relationship with Diddy, Harvey also dated the Bad Boy mogul’s son, Justin Combs. In a new interview with Adrienne Houghton for E! News, the socialite seemingly addresses the rumors.

In a clip of the conversation, Houghton mentioned Steve Harvey. Houghton wanted to know the “one piece of advice” the model’s famous stepfather has given her “that really has stuck.”

“Just remember that you’re the prize, always,” Harvey answered. “That’s like, his golden slogan for me.” Houghton questioned what that meant for Harvey.

“It just means not like, compromising my values, my happiness, my peace,” she said. “Not settling for less than what I know I deserve. And not being afraid to walk away from a situation if it’s no longer serving me.”

When asked about the biggest misconception, Harvey didn’t hesitate with her response.

“It’s so funny, because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories that have been made up about me,” she stated. “I’ve seen stories about me being fully in love with somebody and you have like, this whole relationship. And I’ll see the guy and I’m like, I’ve actually never met him before.”

“Like, full-blown stories I’ve heard, I’ve dated a father and son before. Absolutely not true,” she continued. “I’ve even heard that I’m a lesbian at one point. So, you know, there’s been a lot of different things. A lot of stories, lot of misconceptions. I think they’re hilarious. I love the stories.”

Jermaine Dupri Thinks “Hip Hop Is Hurting & Needs Reviving”

He’s one of the most celebrated artist-producers in Hip Hop, so when Jermaine Dupri speaks on the culture, many stop to listen. The So So Def icon has been in the industry for decades, shaping the careers of legendary hitmakers. His classics remain club favorites, and Dupri’s contributions are unmatched. While he has a deep love for the ebbs and flows of Hip Hop, he also has a few criticisms that he recently shared with Vibe.

During their interview with Dupri, Vibe asked why it seemed as if, in recent years, he’s moved away from Hip Hop to mostly R&B. “I feel like Hip-Hop is definitely hurting and needs reviving,” he said. “I have to go ahead and say this: For the last 20 years, Atlanta’s always had at least five to six top rappers at one time. Right now, Atlanta’s dropped down to two top artists: Lil Baby and Future.”

Dupri added that he still sees “a lot of talent in the city.” Yet, the days of “top tier” artists are a thing of the past.

Ludacris, Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Migos, Future, Lil Baby—I mean, at one point, all of this was Atlanta. This was where all the top-tier rap artists came from,” he stated. “I’m not talking about artists that just make records, but No. 1 songs. Artists that people feel like define the game.”

“Rap to me became a little stale, but I’ve never stopped making rap records,” Dupri also said. He then shared he plans to release “a rap project with Curren$y.”

Elsewhere, Dupri also spoke on the impending, rumored Verzuz against Diddy.

“Well, one, Verzuz in itself is an East Coast-driven platform. I feel like, personally, anytime Jermaine Dupri is mentioned in the same space as any producer from New York, people start saying no against me and it’s fair enough, I get it. A lot of records that I made might have been Southern records that people didn’t hear in the city. A lot of times I was in New York, I used to be like, ‘Damn, I got a number one record, but I don’t hear my record on Hot 97 the way it should be.’”

He also claimed that people underestimated his catalog during the “Bow Wow era.”

Do you agree with Jermaine Dupri’s assessment of the current state of Hip Hop?

Diddy Shares More Looks At Baby Love Sean Combs

It’s been nearly a month since Diddy took the pop culture world by storm when he surprisingly announced the birth of his seventh child, Love Sean Combs.

The hip-hop mogul certainly isn’t being shy when it comes to sharing content of his baby girl.

On Monday (January 9), the 53-year-old took to his Instagram account to share another video of the newest addition to his family. “BABY LOVE,” reads the caption, while the video shows her smiling in the bath tub. With the new post, it seems as though he cleared the rest of his account’s content. It is currently the only post on his page.

Of course, Diddy found himself in the middle of controversy when he officially announced Love’s birth last month. “I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest” the new father of seven writes in a tweet from December 10.

The New York native was known to be in a relationship with Yung Miami, but the world quickly found out that she wasn’t the child’s mother. After rumors began running rampant online, the Bad Boy rapper took to his Twitter account to set the record straight. “@yungmiami305 is not my side chick. Never has been, never will be. She’s very important and special to me, and I don’t play about my Shawty Wop. I don’t discuss things on the internet and I will not start today,” he writes in the tweet.

Although the City Girls rapper subsequently joked about being single to The Game, it appears as though the power couple is still together. They shared some romantic photos together from New Year’s Eve and the “Rap Freaks” rapper says their relationship runs deep. “We go to church. He takes me to church. We pray together. We put God first, for real. I can talk to him about anything,” she tells PEOPLE in a recent interview.

In order to capitalize off of all of this publicity, the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper dropped his newest single on December 14. “Sex In The Porsche” features PARTYNEXTDOOR and is a lustful track that finds PND taking centre stage before the Revolt TV CEO spits some bars of his own. It serves as the first official collaboration between these two artists.

“That’s my type!” Miami joked. Adding, “That’s my love language!”

Diddy & Yung Miami: A Timeline Of Their Relationship

After months of teasing, Diddy and Yung Miami seemingly went Instagram official with their relationship, sharing photos of their New Year’s Eve yacht trip to start the year. Miami joined a group that included Diddy’s mother, eight kids, and his latest baby mama, Dana Tran, seemingly putting rumors that the two were on the outs to rest.

Diddy and Miami’s relationship has long been the subject of speculation online, ever since Miami — fondly referred to by her real first name, Caresha, by fans — first posted photos of herself holding the 53-year-old mogul’s hand at P Thomas’ birthday party in Atlanta in the summer of 2021. Since then, they’ve been at the center of an absolute whirlwind of rumors, mystery, and drama as they shared further videos getting cozy, popped up with shows of support for each other’s endeavors, and rallied through accusations that Yung Miami was simply a “side chick” when Diddy announced the birth of his daughter, Love. Let’s take a look at the timeline of their relationship so far.

June 2021 — The Soft Launch

The first inkling that the two had gotten romantic came at the birthday party for Quality Control Music CEO Pierre Thomas. Miami is signed to the label as a member of Miami rap duo City Girls, but her date to the event caught fans’ attention. The post caused a flurry of activity on Twitter that saw fans wondering what was going on, but it was a few more months until they confirmed anything.

August 2021 — Miami Continues To Tease Fans

As Diddy hinted at a new label venture, Caresha dropped a collection of videos on her Instagram Stories in which she and the older Diddy got cozy at what appeared to be a nightclub. Speculation intensified, but the couple remained coy about their status in interviews.

June 2022 — Caresha Please

Not only did Diddy’s media outlet, Revolt, host Yung Miami’s series when it debuted last summer, but Diddy himself appeared as the first guest, more or less confirming they were dating. “We go to exotic locations,” he said. “We have great times.”

June 2022 — Go Papi!

When Diddy received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2022 BET Awards, he got one conspicuous supporter in the crowd. Fans were amused by the sight of Miami holding a sign reading “Go, Papi” Unfortunately, Diddy forgot to thank Miami in his acceptance speech, leading to a belated Instagram post calling the gesture “one of the sweetest things anyone’s ever done” for him.

September 2022 — Miami Clears Things Up

In an interview with XXL, Miami clarified that while the two were dating, they weren’t exclusive. “We are dating,” she said. “We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single.”

October 2022 — Diddy’s New Music Shows Miami Off

In October, Diddy shared a pair of new songs, the “Gotta Move On” remix and “Diddy Freestyle,” which showcased his “shawty wop” in different ways. While Miami contributes a verse to the former, she appears in the video for the latter, strolling the streets of New York City side-by-side.

December 2022 — Trouble In Paradise?

When Diddy announced the birth of his daughter Love, many fans were quick to indict Miami for sticking with him for so long while he obviously had other romances going. However, both Miami and Diddy himself shot down the “side chick” label with which she was being tagged and Miami said that the announcement came as no surprise to her. However, she did face some accusations of racism after getting into it with another rumored P. Diddy paramour, Gina Huynh, on Twitter, using language derogating Huynh’s ethnic background.

January 2023 — Smooth Sailing

Despite the furor of the past month, it doesn’t appear that there are any hard feelings between Miami, Diddy, and new mom Dana Tran. The photos from the yacht trip appear to suggest that they’re one, big happy family. Time will tell.
