Former Uproxx cover star Wale has denied a claim that he was attacked by Diddy during a studio session with Cassie after the specious story went viral on social media. According to TMZ, Wale and his management issued a statement to decry the false anecdote, noting that Wale never met Cassie and that the YouTuber who started the rumor did so to capitalize on recent headlines involving Daddy and Cassie to go viral.
The YouTuber, Ant Glizzy, detailed an incident in which he claimed Diddy and his security guard hung Wale over a balcony, a la Suge Knight and Vanilla Ice. However, according to Wale’s team, “It’s a shame that a complete fabrication has gotten this far and that we have to dignify it with a response. It is a fantasy written by an outsider to exploit a viral story for clicks. The author must have watched The Five Heartbeats on basic cable and got inspired. They have never been in the same room as the people mentioned. Wale has never met Cassie or the author and was never involved in any type of altercation. He wishes peace for everyone involved in the settlement.”
Here’s the scene they mentioned:
Diddy and Cassie drew headlines and speculation over the weekend when the “Me & U” singer filed a lawsuit against her former beau alleging rape and abuse. The suit did say Diddy hung someone from a 17th-story balcony, but Wale was not named. The suit was settled a day later but by then, the damage was done. If Ant Glizzy was using the news to draw attention to himself, it’s all the more reason for social media users to consider news sources with some healthy skepticism. As Offset said, they’ll do anything for clout.
Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy is officially dismissed. According to TMZ, the suit was ended in New York on Monday. The doc reads, “Pursuant to an agreement between the parties, Plaintiff hereby dismisses this action, with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party.”
Shortly after news of the lawsuit rattled the world on Thursday, Diddy and Cassie settled the lawsuit on Friday.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie said after the settlement. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
For the first time since settling his lawsuit with his ex-lover, singer Cassie, Diddy has been spotted. He was spotted outside his Star Island Miami mansion, beside his chief of staff, with his face buried in his hands.
Paparazzi got photos of diddy for the first time since he’s been exposed for putting Cassie through so much abuse & SA. I hope he suffer frfr pic.twitter.com/bECJeArxHD
After settling with Cassie following her explosive allegations. Ben Brafman, Diddy’s lawyer, shared a statement:
“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
Diddy was sued by his former lover Cassie, stating she was rapped and sex trafficked during their relationship. Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed the suit in New York City, stating she was the victim of a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking.
Included in the lawsuit was a 2018 rape, which Cassie stated as Diddy attempted to prevent her from leaving him.
The fallout from Cassie’s lawsuit and accusations toward Diddy continues and this time it is impacting business. According to AllHipHop, podcaster Dawn Montgomery has annoucned that she will not renew her contract with the Revolt network.
Montgomery is a member of the Monuments to Me podcast and announced her decision on Twitter.
“FYI: I won’t be signing on to do the 3rd season of @revolttv’s ‘Monuments To Me’ podcast,” Montgomery wrote. “I am a [sexual assault] survivor & I cannot be a part of a show that’s supposed to uplift black women while @Diddy leads the company. Believe Black women.”
She added, “One thing I’ve done throughout my professional career(s) is be mindful of my work ethic and where I place my energy & time. I also feel like Revolt’s leadership not speaking on this says a lot and even though this podcast experience blessed me… I’m done.”

Despite how short-lived it was, the Diddy and Cassie lawsuit became the talk of the rap world over the weekend. The disturbing allegations at the heart of the case caused many online to come out against the legendary rap mogul and his alleged actions. The voices got quieter after the pair quickly moved to settle their lawsuit only a few days after it was made public. Throughout the entire process, Diddy has denied all of the allegations made against him.
While the case was still ongoing, Al B. Sure made a post to Instagram that many fans interpreted as him commenting on the situation. “Kind of, almost something like this… I do agree my expectations about you were driven strictly from my optimistic view of you, hoping your grimy ways would dissipate with age and or the current state of affairs that will eventually expose that you were on the payroll and secretly part of the shenanigans. Undo the puzzle,” his post reads. While he’s clearly speaking on something specific, it’s unclear to fans what exactly he was saying. Check out his original story post below.
Now in a new statement, Al B. Sure is clarifying a bit of what he was talking about. “I posted a story this morning about someone close to me that I trusted like family, come to find out I walk with their flag daily & they were grimy on many levels while I went down and was hospitalized,” his statement reads.
Later on in the response he directly addressed the rumors that he was talking about Diddy. “So to update your blogs and fictional narratives FYI: I don’t comment, speak on nor concern myself with court cases, the ensuing results or another man or woman’s business thats not my own, no matter how closely associated my artistic posts may reflect real life,” his post clarifies. Paparazzi photos taken outside the Bad Boy Records CEO’s Miami home captured Diddy in a disheveled state, wearing loungewear and appearing visibly troubled, sparking speculation on social media about the possible reasons behind his distress.
The recent pictures reveal him with his head down, seemingly engrossed in phone conversations, and at one point, sitting down, holding his head. After the images surfaced, social media users shared their opinions, speculating about the cause of his distress.
Fans Think It’s Staged?
The distressing photographs of Diddy spread quickly on social media platforms, leading to a flurry of comments from concerned fans and curious onlookers.
One user, @YokoBarbieBih, remarked, “I think it’s ironic how paparazzi now getting pics of this man after all this. Cassie, known by her full name Cassandra Ventura, alleged the Bad Boy artist of physical and sexual abuse throughout their decade-long relationship. The lawsuit, documented in a 35-page legal filing, detailed the alleged mistreatment Cassie endured.

Cassie And Diddy Reach Amicable Resolution In A Whiplash Lawsuit
Singer Cassie and Diddy have swiftly come to an agreement just one day after she filed a high-profile lawsuit, accusing the hip-hop mogul of rape and multiple instances of physical abuse. In a grand closing to what was a world-stopping news moment, the parties announced on Friday evening they had reached a resolution in the case, without disclosing specific details of the settlement.
Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, expressed her decision to resolve the matter amicably, emphasizing her desire for some degree of control in the situation. According to the NYTimes, she conveyed her gratitude to her family, fans, and legal team for their unwavering support. Diddy also released a statement saying, “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
The potential for the public release of substantial evidence and even a trial had fans anticipating revelations into the secret life of Diddy, who for many years had been subject to rumors about his sex life, drug abuse, and even ritualistic activities. There were even conversations swirling of potential RICO charges against the hip-hop mogul and his business enterprises.
With the settlement, Cassie escapes public embarrassment of having to testify or appear on trial under cross-examination by Diddy’s legal team.
Cassie’s Lawsuit
In her lawsuit, which garnered major attention, Cassie, who had signed with Bad Boy label in 2005 at the age of 19 and dated him for about a decade, made serious allegations against Diddy. She claimed that she endured years of physical abuse, controlling behavior, and various forms of sexual abuse, including rape.
Cassie’s former personal assistant spoke out on social media saying “It’s all true.” Others, including former artist Aubrey O’Day of the Bad Boy Records pop group, Danity Kane, posted to social media feeling vindicated after years of sharing her own stories of abuse.
Diddy’s attorney, Ben Brafman, denied these allegations, describing them as offensive and outrageous.
Diddy’s Reputation & Legacy
In the past year, Diddy received a Lifetime Achievement award at the BET Awards and was honored with the Global Icon Award at MTV’s Video Music Awards in September. Diddy was also recently nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album for his 2023 release, The Love Album: Off The Grid.
With the lawsuit settled so quickly, the fallout is likely contained. The mogul has proven to be Teflon, having come out unscathed despite numerous potentially damaging setbacks over the years including the murder of the Notorious BIG.
Even though it was a quick-lived scandal, almost everyone in the hip hop world took their chance to comment on Diddy and Cassie’s lawsuit. The singer accused the rap mogul of some pretty abhorrent behavior which put many in the hip-hop world who have been impacted by his legacy in a tough position. The pair quickly came to a settlement though. Diddy denied all of the allegations and seemed to want to move the lawsuit out of the public eye as quickly as possible. But now, it’s Joe Budden who is dealing with fallout from the case.
In a segment about the lawsuit, Budden called out fans online for needing celebrities like him to denounce bad behavior. He mentioned that he didn’t feel the need to comment on bad things happening in the music industry when he sees them as obviously bad. But before most people could even see the segment, he edited it out of the final release of the podcast entirely. On Instagram, fans took issue with the move. “Joe not trying to throw no stones, because he knows his glass house is wild,” and “But, he speaks on everything else.. an abuser protecting an abuser,” two of the top comments read. But Budden clapped back.
In the comments of a post on Instagram by TheNeighborhoodTalk, Budden responds. “’Joe Budden took out his entire Diddy segment because all yall blogs will try to attach his voice to this all weekend long’ you mean,” his comment reads. That didn’t silence many critics as it mostly avoids the primary issue many took with his silence on only this specific issue.
Many were quick to point out that Budden had no such reservations when commenting on other high-profile cases like Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez of Jonathan Majors. What do you think of Joe Budden’s response to fans upset with his silence on the Diddy situation? Let us know in the comment section below.

Included in the lawsuit was a 2018 rape, which Cassie stated as Diddy attempted to prevent her from leaving him.
DJ Akademiks has been having a lot of viewers on his streams over the last few days thanks to the Diddy situation. Overall, Diddy is being accused of abusing Cassie. There are some very horrific things being described in the lawsuit. For instance, Cassie alleges that she was trafficked. Furthermore, she says Diddy allegedly had men come over to sleep with her in front of him. It is all very harrowing stuff. Not to mention, the matter has seemingly been resolved as Cassie and Diddy reached a settlement just one day after the lawsuit was filed.
Akademiks has been very vocal about these allegations. Overall, he feels like not enough people are speaking on the whole thing. In his eyes, people are just simply too scared of Diddy which has led to this situation. However, there are some people who are willing to comment on the matter. One of those people is Adam22 who never minces words. In the clip below, Akademiks explained exactly what Adam had to say about the situation. Of course, it was NSFW.
Essentially, the No Jumper founder thinks that it is interesting that Diddy is allegedly a c*ck. Akademiks used to tell Adam that only white men are into that sort of thing. Now, however, Adam feels as though the shoe is on the other foot, and he is excited to point that out. Of course, these claims against Diddy are simply allegations at this point, so Adam isn’t confirmed in his assertions. Either way, it is clear that Akademiks got a good kick out of what Adam had to say on the matter.
Let us know what you think of Adam’s comments, down below. Is he going too far? Also, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists.
DJ Akademiks has made a name for himself by constantly speaking on the topics he finds interesting. Moreover, he always tries to be raw and unfiltered with his opinions. Overall, it has found him at the center of numerous feuds. However, he continues to do what he does. Mostly, he can be found on Rumble these days where he does his livestreams. These streams can be fairly entertaining, especially when there is a hot topic of conversation. Case in point, Akademiks was talking about Diddy all weekend.
In fact, some of his comments eventually made their way to Twitter. As you will see in a couple of tweets below, Ak finds the entire situation to be a bit fishy. For instance, he does not like the way Yung Miami is moving right now. He claims that it is very odd that she has not posted or said anything since the allegations came out. As for Diddy, Akademiks is suspicious of some new images that surfaced of the music mogul.
“Yung Miami loud ass aint tweet in 4 days… cmon.. dont make it this obvious lOl,” Akademiks wrote. Subsequently, he talked about the Diddy images, saying “No Way diddy staged them sad ass pics… Lol Im in the media.. i know that shit cap asf.. lol. Bruh settled the case tho… no need for them sad ass staged tmz pics.” If you recall, Diddy was hit with abuse allegations from the likes of Cassie. One day later, he opted to settle the lawsuit. There is a lot of commentary around the situation as many try to make sense of what is coming out.

The Diddy and Cassie lawsuit, although settled, still lights a fire under Internet discussion and general conversation. Moreover, accusations of sexual assault and physical abuse against the Bad Boy mogul fell under much scrutiny on both sides. However, a big part of this is also seeing how people react to it, which might not actually be the best or most logical of practices. At least, that’s what Joe Budden remarked on his podcast, on which he had to respond to all this in some way. According to the Slaughterhouse MC, folks who need celebrities to validate criticism of abhorrent behavior are looking in the wrong place.
“Are y’all stupid?” Joe Budden’s slight rant began. “Like, let’s have a moment. Nah, for real. Y’all gon’ make me take these f***ing shades off. I’m trying to be cool, I’m trying to respect the gospel, clean version of this podcast. But I be wondering this, too, at home. The fans echo some of that stupid s**t. Do y’all think podcasters are coming into work to say that domestic violence, r*pe, sex trafficking, and drugging women is right on some fronts? Like, do y’all need anybody to say that all of those things are horrifically mortifying?
“Y’all didn’t need Joe Budden for that, right?,” the media personality continued. “Y’all don’t even want me for a music review. So I know that I’m not… That’s my thing, right? For as much praise I give Hov and to Puff and to Dame. Again, back to podcasters keeping some of their thoughts private and just not having to share everything. I don’t feel like I need to come in here and have word vomit about my discernment when it comes to some of the evil s**t that goes on in the industry. Nor do I think I’m the mascot and spokesperson to be the ‘deliverer’ of news for some of the evil s**t that goes on in the industry.
“Some of the treacherous, some of some of the things that are made not so public,” he concluded. “Like, I don’t think the public would react well if they knew all of the locker room behavior of football players. I don’t.” For more news and the latest updates on Joe Budden, Diddy, and Cassie, stick around on HNHH.
