Diddy has been embroiled in all sorts of controversies as of late. Overall, he was accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking by his ex, Cassie. Since that time, Diddy has received various other allegations and lawsuits. Furthermore, he has had numerous endorsements taken away from him. Anyone who was associated with the mogul has distanced themselves from him. Moreover, it seems like there isn’t much he can do or say to change the narrative.
Recently, Diddy lost his “Diddy Day” in Miami beach. According to a report from the Miami Herald, Diddy Day typically goes down on October 13th. However, due to his allegations, they are revoking this. Overall, this news comes amid the artist’s key to New York being revoked. Although it is rare for this kind of thing to happen, Mayor Eric Adams believes it was necessary.

Diddy is someone who has been hit with quite a bit of legal trouble over the last year or so. Overall, it all started with a lawsuit from his ex Cassie, who accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking. Subsequently, the music mogul was hit with other similar lawsuits and allegations. Moreover, the video of Diddy abusing Cassie in a hotel hallway has ultimately left many in a state of shock. Moving forward, there is lots of speculation as to what will happen to the mogul.
As it stands, a grand jury has been formed in the state of New York. This means the state can present evidence and a jury will decide whether or not there is enough there for an indictment. In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, DJ Vlad came out and said that he is 99 percent sure an indictment is coming. Akademiks echoed that sentiment, noting that Diddy recently deleted everything off of his Instagram page. In their minds, this is simply a way to get ready for what’s coming.

Overall, it should be noted that this is simply speculation. No one knows for sure what is about to happen. However, Vlad did say that if he were Diddy, he would be fleeing the country right now. Considering Diddy’s age, Vlad thinks that may just be the best course of action right now. Only time will tell what is going to happen next. At this time, Diddy has denied the allegations against him, and appears confident that his name will be cleared.

Diddy made another questionable move on June 21. The disgraced music mogul deleted all the posts from his Instagram, including his apology video to Cassie. The decision sparked lots of speculation, with some positing that it may be a tactic to avoid further legal troubles. Others interpreted Diddy’s decision as him taking back his apology to Cassie. The backlash grew so quickly that a representative for Diddy issued a statement clarifying that Diddy stands by his apology. This statement wasn’t good enough for Stephen A Smith, however.
The sports analyst took Diddy’s decision and ran with it during the June 25 episode of his podcast. He took Diddy to task for wiping his IG feed and refusing to leave the apology video up, in particular. “If you had a million photos,” Stephen A Smith stated. “And you decided to delete 999,999 of them, that’s the one you should’ve kept up. If you’re sincere. You got 20 million followers on Instagram.” Smith made it clear that he was baffled by Diddy’s decision, given how it’s been interpreted. “Why did you delete that video of the apology,” he asked. “Don’t you want people to know that you were contrite.”

The rant continues from there. Stephen A Smith laid out the different ways in which deleting the video makes Diddy look worse. “By deleting the video,” he asserted. “You throw all of that out the window. The possibility of the very few people who would ever believe that.” SAS then turned his focus towards the Diddy PR team. “Who are your PR people,” he yelled. “Who are these people? Where is the advice?” He then proceeded to give his advice as to how the Bad Boy founder should have handled the situation.
Unsurprisingly, Smith would have told the mogul to leave the apology video up. “I’d have said never delete your account and never delete that video,” he explained. “Leave that up forever. Because that was you apologizing. And owning up to your transgression. You deleting it from your account… that wasn’t smart.” The final dagger Stephen A Smith delivered was aimed squarely at Diddy. “It comes across,” he opined. “As you wanting to erase everything as opposed to you wanting to be accountable for everything.”
Diddy made a confusing decision on June 21. The Bad Boy mogul decided to delete all of his posts on Instagram. The speculation as to why was overshadowed, though, by the fact that his apology video to Cassie was one of the posts deleted. Fans quickly honed in on this decision, and questioned whether it meant Diddy takes back the statements he made in the video. It didn’t take long for Diddy’s reps to get on the horn with TMZ and attempt straighten things out.
Diddy’s reps told TMZ that he stands by the apology. The outlet was told that the mogul was not taking a shot at Cassie by removing the video. The rep cited the deletion of all Diddy’s Instagram posts as proof. They then went on to tell TMZ that the apology video already served its purpose. “Diddy’s apology was seen around the world,” the outlet wrote. “and “[It] got published/broadcast everywhere — so everyone’s seen it, and it exists forever. In terms of how feels. We’re told Diddy meant what he said in that clip, and that stands even today.” In short, Diddy reportedly meant what he said, and still does.
The clarification did not stop there. The mogul’s reps claimed that the decision to wipe the IG account is not a strategic one. TMZ was told the decision was made spontaneously, and doesn’t have a significance beyond Diddy wanting a clean feed. It’s admittedly hard to take the mogul at his word, given the various crimes and incidents he’s denied. He was adamant that was innocent when Cassie filed a lawsuit against him for abuse. Then, the video of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel lobby surfaced on CNN.
The mogul’s apology was criticized even before its deletion. A member of the form representing Cassie, Hillary Povar, dismissed it outright to Fox 11. “It wasn’t about her,” she claimed. “It wasn’t about what he did wrong, and I think that’s where we see a lot of things go wildly off course from a PR perspective.” Povar also emphasized the importance of legal action over internet “cancelation.” “It’s just ineffective in terms of really dealing with what the actual issue is.”
According to TMZ, with the support of the Key to the City of New York committee, Mayor Adams reportedly ordered Diddy to return his honor.
The outlet claims to have obtained a copy of the two letters sent to Diddy’s bi-coastal (New York and Los Angeles) offices with Mayor Adams’ demands, which were supposedly sent out on June 4. By June 10, the Key was allegedly returned.

Right now, Diddy seems to be completely radioactive, as his many alleged crimes and instances of misconduct have placed his every move under intense scrutiny. As a result, fans have been hyper-fixating on every nook and cranny of his decades-spanning legacy. This includes the existence of the short-lived group Diddy Dirty Money, which released one album and two mixtapes before seemingly dropping off of the face of the Earth. Despite their brief tenure behind the mic, Diddy’s Dirty Money released some chart-topping hits. So, what exactly happened to the group, and where are they today? Let’s take a moment to look into the history of the R&B trio, and see what we can uncover about their legacy.
The Group Consisted Of Diddy And Two Bad Boy Signees
The members that comprised Diddy Dirty Money include Diddy himself, as well as Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. Richard was a winner of Diddy’s reality television show Making The Band on MTV, and originally signed with Bad Boy as part of the all-girl group Danity Kane. The label initially brought on Harper as a songwriter after she found similar success penning hits for several major industry names. In numerous interviews, Diddy expressed an interest in teaming with the women on his label for an album, in order to create love songs that provide both a male and female perspective.
In 2009, Diddy Dirty Money was formed, and the trio began cranking out major hits such as “Loving You No More” featuring Drake, “Coming Home” with Skylar Grey, and “Angels,” which featured a posthumous verse from The Notorious B.I.G. The group’s only studio album Last Train To Paris released in December 2010, and peaked at number 7 on the US Billboard 200.

While Diddy has never directly spoken on why Dirty Money stopped producing records after the success of Last Train To Paris, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper agree that the mogul had other investments to tend to. During a 2023 interview with Vibe, Harper explained, “It was never another album because Cîroc was his next album. He’s like, ‘Do I keep dealing with these two baldhead b****es, or do I jump on this Cîroc that ain’t gon talk back? …Dirty Money started to become something that he didn’t think was going to happen. Dawn, she’s exceptional at what she does—he didn’t think two Leo women was going to come in and body that s*** like we did.”
Dawn Richard seems to echo these claims, explaining in an interview with Billboard, “It died out. I think Puff was tired. He had so many different things going on. I think he wanted to produce and act a little bit more. Sometimes you don’t have a choice. If we would have wanted to continue, and he couldn’t do it, then there’d be no sense in it.”
Despite the downfall of Diddy’s Dirty Money, the trio seems to still be on good terms. In fact, Diddy even recruited his former group-mates for a reunion song on his 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid. The track, which is titled “Deliver Me,” is the third song on the album, and also features vocals from Busta Rhymes. Unfortunately, the song may be one of the projects that led to Diddy’s downfall, as it features production credits from Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy regarding payment for his work on the album is largely considered to be the first domino in the ongoing legal trouble the Bad Boy exec is facing.
Regardless, it seems increasingly likely that we won’t see another Diddy Dirty Money reunion again, as the rapper has become something of a pariah within the music industry. If this is truly the case, then that means that “Deliver Me” is the last-ever collaboration between the chart-demolishing trio.
More allegations continue to mount against Bad Boy Records founder Diddy, as a former LAPD detective who was involved in the Tupac and Biggie murder investigations recently spoke to The New York Times and says that Duane “Keefe D’ Davis accused Diddy of ordering a hit on ‘Pac and Suge Knight back in 1995.
Greg Kading says that he remembered Davis accusing Diddy of ordering a hit on 2Pac, as well as Suge Knight, back in 1995. Kading said that Keefe D told him about a meeting held in a hotel room during a Summer Jam tour, allegedly telling a room full of “Crips”, he wanted them dead. Kdaing said he also remembered Davis saying that he was offered $1 million for the murders from Mr. Combs himself.
“Man, we’ll wipe their a— out quick,” Davis allegedly replied.
The next year, both Tupac and Suge Knight were shot on the Las Vegas strip after Shakur and the Death Row team got into a physical altercation with Keefe D’s nephew, Orlando Anderson at the MGM before the Mike Tyson fight. Knight suffered a graze wound to the head in the drive-by shooting, but Shakur succumbed to his injuries less than a week after the shooting. He was 25 years old.
In his 2019 book, Compton Street Legend, Davis claimed that he had a gun before searching the city for 2Pac and Knight. Ultimately, he admitted to giving the gun to his nephew. He alleged that Anderson went on to shoot 2Pac four times, ultimately taking his life.
Davis is set for trial for the murder of Shakur in Las Vegas this month.
Diddy was spotted out in West Hollywood, CA, giving a salute and praying hands to the camera. TMZ came across the Bad Boy mogul speaking with another man in an all-black jogging suit. Additional images and videos show Diddy engaging with a woman in a friendly conversation.
Last week, paparazzi chased down King Combs and Justin Combs and asked how Diddy was holding up. King offered “good” as Quincy Combs would interject the moment to promote forthcoming music.
In a separate clip, Quincy ignored the paparazzi on his stroll, only offering a message of blessings.
King also spoke briefly about Chance Combs’s graduation, which Diddy had to miss.

According to TMZ, Diddy missed his 17-year-old daughter Chance’s graduation at Sierra Canyon High School in the Los Angeles Area. Diddy reportedly communicated he would not be in attendance.
Chance’s half-siblings and Kim Porter’s family are expected to attend. Diddy fathered Chance with Sarah Chapman.
Diddy also missed the junior proms for his twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila. The mogul reportedly lives in Miami, and all the celebrations took place in California.
Diddy is subject to a federal investigation, but his travel has not been hindered.
Kanye West found himself in the news for negative reasons after singer-songwriter Niykee Heaton accused him and Diddy of sexually assaulting her and her former manager, Lauren Pisciotta. Niykee’s allegations came days after Lauren, Kanye’s former assistant, filed a lawsuit against him. In Lauren’s lawsuit, she accused Kanye of sexual harassment, contract breach, and wrongful termination. Lauren claimed Kanye sent her lewd texts and masturbated while speaking to her on the phone. She also accused the rapper of pleasuring himself in front of her after trapping her in a private room on his plane.
However, Kanye countersued Lauren. In his suit, the rapper denied her allegations against him, tagging them as “baseless” and backed by ulterior motives. Kanye’s legal representative accused Lauren of “blackmail and extortion” after he allegedly turned down her sexual advances. Days after the countersuit, Lauren’s former associate and singer, Niykee, went on Instagram Live to make startling allegations against Kanye and Diddy. Niykee is a singer-songwriter who found fame after being discovered via her YouTube channel, where she posted acoustic guitar covers of notable hip-hop songs. She released her debut single, “Bad Intentions,” in 2014. The song made it to the Billboard charts and was certified gold by the RIAA. She also has an EPtitled Bad Intentions and a mixtape, The Bedroom Tour Playlist, which she released in 2016, a year after going on The Bedroom Tour. In 2018, she released another EP titled Starting Over.
During her Instagram Live, Niykee claimed Lauren Pisciotta was her manager. She said they fell out because they were in two different places. Niykee explained that she almost lost her love for music after her negative experiences. However, Lauren was more into the business side of music and kept going until she realized some things for herself.
Why Did Niykee Come Forward With Her Allegations Now?
Niykee revealed she didn’t want to tell her story before because she felt no one would believe her. However, recent happenings in the industry pushed her to speak out. Niykee also said that after Lauren’s lawsuit against Kanye West, many people said she was lying. Those comments angered Niykee, spurring her to come forward with her story.
Niykee explained that people asked her why she left the music industry and if it was as evil as they say. She expressed, “It is more evil than you can possibly imagine.” The singer added, “I’m one of the lucky ones. I got out when I could.” Niykee further said she was lucky enough to only be allegedly assaulted twice. She explained that she experienced more assaults, but only two of those incidents impacted her. One of the incidents allegedly involved her and Lauren. She claimed that after becoming popular at 18, many rappers reached out to her. One of those rappers was said to be Kanye.
One late night, Niykee, then 19 years old, and Lauren allegedly got a call saying Kanye wanted them to come to the studio to work on music. When they got to the studio, they purportedly met Kanye, Diddy, and three other men: Kanye’s cousin, an executive who worked with the rapper, and his sound engineer. She said there were also nine other women there, who she described as “studio hoes.” Niykee said she felt uneasy because she wasn’t expecting to see those women. She also claimed Diddy and Kanye were “drunk and out of their minds.” Afterward, Diddy allegedly handed her a drink while Kanye did the same to Lauren. Although Niykee didn’t like alcohol, she accepted the drink to avoid being rude.
Niykee’s Allegations Against Kanye & Diddy
Niykee claimed Diddy kept staring at her while Kanye stared at Lauren. According to her, the rappers exchanged glances and were keen on them drinking. Hence, she felt uneasy, believed something was in the drink, and pretended to sip it. She tried to text Lauren about her suspicions, but Kanye took the phone away from her and placed it on a speaker. Afterward, Niykee saw Lauren sip from the drink twice. Not long after, Lauren started speaking loudly, making jokes, and acting unlike herself, which made Niykee suspect the drinks were allegedly laced. Suddenly, Lauren dismissed the other girls in the studio, leaving her, Niykee, with Diddy, Kanye, and the three other men.
Later, Lauren apparently left the studio to go to the bathroom despite Niykee’s efforts to stop her. Niykee remained calm, but Diddy and Kanye allegedly approached her and asked her to remove her clothes since the studio was hot, but she playfully declined. She claimed, “They were like, ‘C’mon, it’s just us. We are all just friends. Like let us just like see like how you look.” She still refused their advances. However, Kanye and Diddy allegedly ripped her shirt off. At this point, she looked to her left, where Kanye’s executive stood three meters away and mouthed, “Help.” However, he looked away. Next, she looked at Kanye’s engineer, who was married and had just welcomed a baby girl. Yet, she accused him of looking at his phone and started texting. She also said she looked at Kanye’s cousin, but he spun his chair around. Hence, she knew no one was coming to save her and became very afraid.
Niykee claimed Kanye and Diddy were now trying to get her pants off. She said she closed her eyes briefly and prayed to God for help. Then, she alleged a voice came to her head and asked her to go towards the rappers, which she did. This threw them off balance, allowing her to reach behind her back and pull the exit door. She said she managed to slip out and grabbed her clothes as she did.
Niykee said she ran out and hid in an empty studio for about 25 minutes, crying and wondering what to do. She texted Lauren but didn’t get any response. She claimed she saw Kanye assaulting Lauren, which is why she was named in the latter’s lawsuit. Eventually, she further alleged she managed to get herself and Lauren, who couldn’t remember anything, an Uber that took them home. Niykee concluded by advising people to stay away from the industry, claiming that more people would come forward with their experiences.
Fif took his Diddy trolling on the road, this time in Miami’s Little Havana at a spot called Dead Flamingo Pop Up where “Diddy Roast” was scheduled to take place and 50 Cent pulled up just to see if the Bad Boy himself was in the building.
50 even posed for pics with fans and passed around shots of his Branson Cognac, then took to IG about his Diddy adventure. “Yes, I was in attendance I thought puffy might show up because I saw Tom Brady at his. [shrug emoji] he didn’t come, I had the shooters [camera emoji] get your mind out gutter videographers [eyes emoji] what!”
The Diddy roast was actually a fundraiser for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and although 50 didn’t get on the stage, it featured sets from local Miami comedians Lonnie Cox, Ricky Cruz and Drew Illa.
Some of the jabs sounded like, “Sean Combs got his nickname ‘Puffy’ because that’s how he leaves his girlfriends after every relationship.”
Brittany Brave, the emcee at the event, also spoke about how comedy helped her out of an abusive relationship.
“[The Diddy scandal] is topical right now so it made sense to join the conversation in a productive way,” she said. “Comedy is what pulled me out of an abusive relationship that lasted for three years and it continues to help all of us make sense of life, especially the parts of it that sting.”
