Diddy Accuses Federal Police Of Raiding His Prison Cell And Taking His Trial Materials

Diddy and his defense team in his federal case for alleged sex trafficking continue to launch scathing accusations against the prosecution. According to new legal court documents reportedly obtained by TMZ, his attorney Marc Agnifilo accused federal authorities of raiding his prison cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Agnifilo claims they learned of this on Friday (November 15), and that police took attorney-client privileged material including notes about the upcoming trial from Sean Combs to his legal team about witnesses and strategies for the May court proceeding. Furthermore, his lawyer alleged that prosecutors already confessed to having notes from his jail cell from a search and seizure that the defense claims violates his Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Amendment rights.

In addition, Diddy’s legal team accused the prosecution of denying him bail and keeping him in jail unjustifiably with this prison cell material that they reportedly seized. As such, his attorney wants a hearing to investigate this immediately and determine who authorized this alleged raid, who decided what to seize, who made the order to give materials to the U.S. Attorney’s Office and carried it out, who posited their delivery to prosecutors and fulfilled it, who chose not to tell him about it, and exactly what they took.

Diddy’s lawyer reportedly blasted this move, and federal authorities still haven’t addressed this at press time. This comes after prosecutors claimed he was trying to tamper with his federal case from prison, so the defense argues that this jail cell search violates his attorney-client privilege rights in order to combat this. Also, the government claimed the Bad Boy mogul sought to “subvert the integrity” of his trial. “This search and seizure are in violation of Mr. Combs’ [constitutional] rights,” Marc Agnifilo reportedly wrote, per Billboard. “The targeted seizure of a pre-trial detainee’s work product and privileged materials – created in preparation for trial – is outrageous government conduct amounting to a substantive due process violation.”

“This is a matter of grave concern that, most respectfully, must be addressed immediately,” Diddy’s attorney added. “Because the U.S. Attorney, and it seems the trial prosecutors, are currently in possession of privileged materials, we request a full evidentiary hearing as soon as the Court can accommodate us.”

Diddy Gets Promising Bail Update After Court Allows Him To Seek A New Hearing

It looks like Diddy still has another chance to secure bail in his federal case alleging sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. According to journalist Meghann Cuniff, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals approved a motion for him from Thursday (October 24) to temporarily place his bail appeal on hold. This is so Sean Combs can look for a new bail hearing in United States District Court, and the judge-approved order reportedly supersedes the prosecution’s objections. As such, there is still another window through which he might find bond, although it’s been a very difficult process so far that doesn’t indicate it will get any easier.

Elsewhere, Diddy and his legal team sought to place a gag order in court, in order to remedy what they allege are leaks from the government to the press. “The defense believes that Exhibit A accomplishes the intended purposes of the requested relief,” their motion reportedly reads. “To ensure that leaks, as well as damaging and false information which are undermining Mr. Combs’ right to a fair trial stop, while including reciprocal restraints on the defense. […] Unfortunately, however, we are unable to submit Exhibit A as a joint proposal, because after extensive back and forth since the October 10 conference, the parties were unable to reach agreement on the order. We did narrow the disputes, however, and understand that most, but not all, of the language in Exhibit A is acceptable to the government.”

While the world continues to debate about – and react to – the Diddy case, his family publicly supported him through a new statement. His children expressed how “devastating” this process has been, pointing to the many accusations and assumptions against the Combs family that they characterize as “absurdity.” Overall, they want their father to come home and believe that he will be proven to be innocent when it comes to his alleged crimes.

Others, though, are not so quick to throw their support behind Diddy despite past links. For example, Jadakiss recently praised his parties, but also made it clear that said admiration is for the parties he went to, which he says didn’t reflect the alleged crimes at hand. Diddy Faces More Obstacles In His Bid For Bail Thanks To Scathing Filing From Prosecutors

While Diddy was denied bond three times so far in his federal case for alleged sex trafficking charges and more, he still has a shot. Specifically, it’s with a three-judge panel at the appeals court that will hear his arguments in his defense on November 4. Still, prosecutors want to make this as unlikely as possible. They recently filed an opposing motion on Wednesday (October 16) asking the appeals court to uphold Judge Andrew Carter’s decision to deny Sean Combs bail. In addition, they claimed that “clear and convincing evidence” proves why Combs is allegedly a danger to possible witnesses.

“In arguing that evidence of obstruction was ‘thin’ and that the Government ‘provided no basis to believe’ that Combs tampered with witnesses, Combs primarily quibbles with the strength of the Government’s evidence that Combs made inappropriate contact with Government witnesses,” prosecutors expressed concerning Diddy. “But Combs ignores altogether the serious and substantial allegations of obstruction, bribery and witness tampering charged in the Indictment as part Combs’ pattern of racketeering activity that amply supported Judge Carter’s determination. […] Combs’ longstanding and sophisticated methods of obstructing justice and silencing witnesses more than established his dangerousness.”

Also, prosecutors alleged that Diddy used “methodical and sophisticated means to silence and intimidate witnesses,” per the supposed results of their investigation and Judge Carter’s ruling. They claimed that he uses “loyal intermediaries” to see the intimidation through via violence, blackmail, and his financial power, pointing to this as the reason why they believe he should not secure bail. They also brought up a specific alleged example of the Bad Boy mogul texting an alleged victim. Other alleged instances of this came up in other motions and lawsuits.

Meanwhile, another legal dispute concerns whether or not Diddy laced baby oil with drugs, an unverified allegation that emerged in civil lawsuits but hasn’t been confirmed or proven by federal authorities or any other party. When federal officials raided his homes, they made no note of laced baby oil upon discovering 1,000 bottles of it. On November 4, it seems like we will know for sure whether the appeals court agrees with this latest filing from the prosecution.

Diddy and his legal team will not give up in their quest to secure his bond, but they still face a couple of obstacles along the way. Moreover, according to an exclusive report by AllHipHop, the court denied his motion for immediate release, but not all hope is lost when it comes to this third overall bail attempt, which does not just involve immediate release. “The motion for bail is referred to a three-judge panel,” the alleged Friday (October 11) filing reads. This means that Sean Combs might still secure bond if this three-judge panel agrees. “The request for immediate release pending decision on the bail motion by a three-judge pane is denied. The motion to seal is granted,” the alleged court document continues.

“In light of the proposed conditions [of a $50 million bond, GPS monitoring, and visitor restrictions], the actions Mr. Combs had already taken regarding the investigation, and Mr. Combs’ lifetime commitment to live up to his obligations concerning every challenge he has ever faced, he should be released to fight this case in court and prove his innocence,” Diddy’s lawyers reportedly argued. The court had expressed their view that he’s a flight risk and a threat to witnesses, per their assessment of the situation.

As he has handled every hardship, he will meet this case head-on, he will work hard to defend himself. And he will prevail.” During Thursday’s (October 10) court hearing, the judge offered the defense team a trial start date of May 5, 2025. They agreed, so it seems like the case timeline will continue to fall into place.

Meanwhile, this comes amid the federal government’s response to Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo’s allegation that they leaked grand jury information. In addition, Agnifilo claimed that the Department of Homeland Security allegedly leaked the footage of the Bad Boy mogul attacking Cassie in 2016 to CNN. One of the unexpected results of a court hearing in the Diddy case on Thursday (October 10) was that people started to theorize about his appearance. Never mind his third bail rejection: folks also talked about how he allegedly lost weight while behind bars as he waits for trial for alleged sex trafficking charges, among others. Well, according to allegedly close sources that reportedly spoke to TMZ, this is an inaccurate assumption. The alleged sources claim that Sean Combs actually lost a lot of weight before his arrest last month due to a dietary, physical, and mental health regimen.

This follows allegations from Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo that his biggest struggle in prison is actually the food. “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it,” he told reporters after their Thursday hearing concluded, per People. The publication also spoke to a source that spoke on the Bad Boy mogul’s children and mother attending the hearing. ““The kids were very happy to support their father. The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there,” the alleged source expressed.

Elsewhere in the Diddy case, the federal government has allegedly responded to his defense team’s accusations that they leaked information to the press, specifically the footage of him attacking Cassie back in 2016. “The Government did not possess the video published by CNN prior to its public release, and the Government possessed no surveillance video at all from the Intercontinental prior to CNN’s public broadcast,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson reportedly wrote to Marc Agnifilo. “Accordingly, we wish to advise you that we consider any assertion in your motion of a purported Government leak related to the Intercontinental surveillance video to lack a good faith basis.”

In addition, this Thursday hearing also indicated the potential trial start date of May 5, 2025, although it’s unclear if this is official yet. Nevertheless, the federal case moved along with a lot of updates this week, and it looks like we can cross Diddy’s alleged weight loss off that list. Diddy Makes A Decision On Testifying In Court

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo chose to participate in TMZ‘s upcoming documentary The Downfall Of Diddy: The Indictment, for which he issued some key and important updates on his legal case and strategy. Moreover, he revealed whether or not his client plans to testify in federal court. For those unaware, Sean Combs faces sex trafficking and racketeering charges following a whirlwind of other lawsuits and allegations against him, most of which remain unsolved. According to Agnifilo, he is “eager” to defend himself in court and tell his side of the story. This is despite the possibility for cross-examination over leaked surveillance footage of the Bad Boy mogul assaulting Cassie in a hotel room.

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand,” Diddy’s attorney reportedly told the outlet. “I think he is very eager to tell his story and I think he will tell every part of his story, including what you see on the video. So I expect it’s going to be explained by the both of us.” Marc Agnifilo also referred to other things he could potentially explain or dismiss, such as questions about his alleged “freak-offs” and allegedly blowing up Kid Cudi’s car.

The Diddy scandal continues to captivate much of pop culture for harrowing and disturbing reasons, although a lot of folks are making light of the whole alleged matter. One of these is Katt Williams, who fans called a “prophet” earlier this year when his remarks on the Bad Boy mogul’s various accusations seemed to manifest every week through new allegations. Now, Katt’s back with a bold claim: “Diddy about to snitch on everybody,” he captioned a recent Instagram Story post. It included a clip of New Jack City in which Nino Brown accuses Kareem Akbar of ring-leading his crimes, but with Diddy and Jay-Z’s faces imposed onto the actors.

Many other reactions to Diddy’s federal arrest and indictment made similar claims and theories, but at the end of the day, we won’t know until we see a trial. On that note, this might take a while considering his many other legal issues as of late, most of which he’s trying to sweep under the rug while focusing on this larger case. For example, Sean Combs recently filed a motion to dismiss one of various sexual assault lawsuits against him due to its expired statute of limitations.

DJ Akademiks Reveals What Diddy Is Eating In Jail

DJ Akademiks is someone who has always had the inside track on what is happening in the rap world. Overall, one of the stories he and many others are following closely right now is the Diddy indictment. As we have extensively reported, Diddy is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Although he has attempted to be released on bail twice, the judge has ultimately denied it. Now, he faces life in prison and many are wondering how his case will go.

During a live stream, Akademiks informed his fans on what Diddy will be eating while locked up at the MDC. As you will hear, it is not the most appetizing menu. Essentially, his meals are what you would get at a school cafeteria. In the morning, Diddy will receive cereal, breakfast cake, and a sugar substitute. For lunch, a black bean burger is served. Meanwhile, dinner is some pasta and a salad. On the weekend, the inmates will get pizza although the quality of said pizza is probably up for debate.

Ultimately, the dinner is by no means anything that is going to be considered lavish or anything in the realm of what Diddy is used to. However, that is to be expected when you are behind bars.
