Kendrick Lamar joked that ScHoolboy Q’s daughter is already taller than him during a wholesome moment at the music video shoot for “Not Like Us.” “You taller than me and some mo’ sh*t… you grown, that’s crazy man,” the Los Angeles rapper remarks in a viral video from the day. Lamar has been reuniting with numerous West Coast artists to film the highly-anticipated video.

Many fans on X (formerly Twitter) were loving the reunion between Lamar and Q’s family, but not all responses were so positive. Others questioned why it had been so long since seeing each other. “Q stays in California .. so how long has it been since Kendrick seen Q if he’s shocked his daughter has gotten taller. Idk man this don’t seem like someone that’s been locked in wit LA,” one user wrote. Another added: “The fact he hasn’t seen Q daughter in that long… don’t sit right with me…. i really feel like he switched up on rock soul and Q and they just always loved him no matter what.”

Prior to the music video shoot, Lamar performed alongside Q at his now-iconic concert at The Kia Forum, earlier in the week. Together, they performed “Collard Greens” and “THat Part.” Lamar welcomed numerous other West Coast artists to the stage during his The Pop Out – Ken & Friends show as well.

Marlon Wayans Doubles Down On Pride Month Support Despite Backlash

Marlon Wayans isn’t phased by the haters in his comments on Instagram over the support he’s been showing for his son, Kai, during Pride Month. When he first shared a picture of himself with a Pride flag on the platform, several users criticized him in response. Tuesday morning, posing in a tub of rainbow-colored balls, he added: “Looking at my comments… i don’t think the haters got my message… HAPPY F*CKNG PRiDE BITCHES!!! I ain’t God so I don’t judge, I’m father, a friend and a damn loving human so i exercise my right to LOVE.”

Users continued to have mixed responses to the support for the LGBTQ+ community. One top comment comes from a user claiming they’ll never watch another one of his movies. Others voiced support for him continuing to speak up in the face of homophobic backlash.

Chris Brown & Nia Guzman Reunite To Celebrate Their Daughter’s 10th Birthday

Nia Guzman just posted some snaps from her daughter Royalty’s tenth birthday with a familiar face that her followers hadn’t seen alongside her in a while. Her former partner (and Royalty’s father) Chris Brown was also there to celebrate, and it seems like they had a very wholesome, heartening, and fun time. Moreover, fans might recall the often messy history of the former couple, as their fling allegedly happened while he was still with Guzman’s friend, Karrueche Tran. Regardless of how fans see the relationship now and what dynamic there is, this is yet another sign of proof that the kids can bring animosity or tension to at least a pause.

Furthermore, this is a much more positive development for Chris Brown’s 2024 compared to what the rest of the year has held for him. One of the biggest stories so far was his beef with Quavo, which roped in fellow rapper Saweetie and elicited a potential response from her, as well. Maybe there will be less combative energy for the next few months, but not everything involving this feud ended up being so negative. After all, some folks thought that Breezy came through with the better diss track compared to the former Migo, and rap beef praise carries heavy weight.

Elsewhere, Chris Brown’s name came up in Uncle Luke’s assessment of 2024’s most massive rap beef so far: Drake versus Kendrick Lamar. “Kendrick ain’t gonna stop until he win one round,” Luke expressed on social media. “He’s not gonna stop. He gonna stay in the studio all night… But I’m telling you that Drake. Drake is like undefeated. Drake been doing it for a minute. He be bodying people, man. He ain’t running from no smoke… It’s gonna take some Chris Brown or something. Drake versus Chris Brown.”

Of course, considering how that battle ended, this commentary didn’t age super well. Regardless, we’re sure that Chris Brown would much rather be referenced in relation to Drake and Kendrick Lamar than to Diddy’s current legal reckoning. But alas, folks will make those connections where they may. At the very least, he’s having a much better time at his daughter’s birthday and balanced out the attention with some wholesomeness.

Drake Denies Daughter Claims Again Through DJ Akademiks

Drake has once again denied claims that he has a secret 11-year-old daughter that he’s neglecting, responding to the allegations Kendrick Lamar included on his diss track “Meet The Grahams.” However, in contrast to his other response to these accusations, which was a direct social media post, this is actually an alleged response because DJ Akademiks claimed that the Toronto superstar messaged him about it. “If you or anybody can find proof that I have an 11-year-old daughter, I’ll quit rapping and I’ll come work for you,” he allegedly told the streamer. As many have pointed out, there’s been no word on the predator allegations from The Boy.

DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden were discussing the new diss track “Not Like Us” when the former made this claim about another Drake response. As for the allegations themselves, there’s been a lot of discourse on the daughter stuff from Kendrick Lamar fans and the OVO fanbase alike, with consistently debunked or unverified theories stemming from either. It’s been a conspiratorial ride, but one that at least levels the playing field when it comes to each MC’s potential planning, strategizing, layered inclusions, double entendres, etc. You can’t say that either fanbase hasn’t looked silly throughout this whole thing.

However, it’s important to point out that Kendrick Lamar hasn’t specifically responded to domestic violence allegations that Drake levied against him, either. He’s denied any and all claims broadly and is pushing the narrative that his opponent is just lying, which is something that Aubrey could easily do as well. But by specifically responding to some things and not to others, he’s not really painting the best picture as far as controlling the narrative. That’s all that matters right now when no one knows the truth, but let’s not forget about this when it’s all over.

As such, maybe the only thing that could really shift the tide are receipts of the big claims involved, which probably won’t come out without some major skepticism and double-checking. It’s unclear how Kendrick Lamar or Drake would even go about this. Nevertheless, with two alleged responses, one being through Akademiks and another supposed one to Metro Boomin’s “diss beat,” the latter might have to do something more direct if he wants to get an objective leg-up. We’ll see whether the red button’s been pressed or not.

Drake’s Alleged Sources Claim Hidden Daughter Accusations Are Fake News

So was no one going to tell us that, in 2024, you need a Master’s degree in journalism if you want to participate in rap beef? Well, either way, Kendrick Lamar and Drake certainly proved what Pusha T established and tried to reinforce their scathing bars for one another on last night’s diss tracks (Friday, May 3) with some serious allegations. Speaking of “The Story Of Adidion,” one of the biggest ones is the claim that Drake is hiding and neglecting a daughter around the age of 11, and might have more kids and baby mothers that he’s kept quiet and ignored. Whereas Kendrick has his own privacy around his family, this diss seemed much more aimed at the “deadbeat” angle.

However, Drake denied this shortly after “Meet The Grahams” dropped, fan theories are going wild over whether he fed Kendrick Lamar fake information, and now we apparently have another denial. Moreover, TMZ recently published a report claiming that they spoke to a source allegedly close to the OVO camp who called K.Dot’s claims an “utter fabrication.” No one knows what or who to believe, especially as the relentless attacks from yesterday have quieted down in the morning’s aftermath. Until either MC makes another strong move to bring evidence forward, they are both as scarred as the other.

Furthermore, this is because Drake launched his own claims against Kendrick Lamar that are either unverified or previously challenged. He accused the Compton lyricist of physically abusing his partner, and of cheating on her consistently even after the time period that he admitted to on his 2022 album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. In addition, the Toronto rapper claimed that Dave Free is the real father of one of their kids. As for the domestic violence allegations, he could be referring to an alleged 2014 incident of beating a woman that the former TDE lyricist addressed and denied during an interview with The Breakfast Club.

Meanwhile, Drake and his alleged sources have denied this particular claim… while staying completely silent on much more damning accusations. Kendrick Lamar also alleged that the OVO camp runs a sex trafficking ring and that the “Family Matters” creative is an assaulter and predator. These are similar to rumors about Drizzy’s proximity with underage girls, which he’s almost never addressed publicly other than brief song mentions. Only time will tell who is lying and who is right… but considering the cost, and regardless of veracity, neither is in any position to sit on a high horse.

Drake Denies Kendrick Lamar’s Claims That He Has A Secret Daughter

What a fine Saturday morning (April 5): the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and the world is reacting to traded blows that have left both of its dealers reeling from the aftershock. Moreover, you’ve probably already heard the multiple disses that Drake and Kendrick Lamar threw each others’ way on Friday: various sections of “Family Matters,” and “6:16 In LA” and “Meet The Grahams,” respectively. On the last of these tracks, K.Dot claims that the 6ix God is hiding an 11-year-old daughter and possibly even more children. Unsurprisingly, he was very quick to respond to that allegation, and it’s clear he’s paying it no mind at the moment.

“Hold on can someone find my hidden daughter pls and send her to me… these guys are in shambles,” Drake wrote on his IG Story amid various crying-laughing emojis. As such, he’s calling Kendrick Lamar’s bluff, and some fan theorists online have even suggested that he gave up this supposedly fake information to a suspected “mole” in his camp in order to bait his opponent into a false claim. But other fans are more concerned with Drizzy failing to address the sex trafficking, predator, and assault accusations that were also central to “meet the grahams.” However, this contrasts ominously with accusations of domestic violence that the Toronto MC levied at the Compton rapper.

As such, both artists have much to answer for, and while some have already picked their side, most of us are in silent disbelief at what’s happening. Never mind the rap beef for a second: this exchange is a horrible reminder to never meet your heroes, and regardless of what ends up being true, it’s put into question a lot of perceived hypocrisy, loyalties, tactics, and approaches. Kendrick Lamar and Drake might be able to sidestep all of this… but at what cost? How much of history should we be ready to face before realizing there are much bigger opponents to take down either way?

Maybe that’s just flowery self-righteousness. After all, Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been teasing the nuclear option for years, and we’ve cheered them on. Perhaps the most salient point out of these denials and reversals is that the world really needs to see some receipts right now. Rick Ross tying his crash landing into this is one thing, but this is a whole ‘nother level. Only time will tell how these diss tracks (as excellent and scathing as they are) will go down in the books.

SteveWillDoIt Believes He Could Be In Danger After Flying Out 6ix9ine’s Baby Mama & Daughter

SteveWillDoIt has been a vocal critic of 6ix9ine for some time now, and recently, he decided to take their feud to the next level. In a video posted earlier this week, the YouTube personality was seen alongside the rapper’s baby mother and child, who he flew out. He provided them with luxurious gifts, including a Birkin and some jewelry. He even went so far as to promise them $12K each month for a year, $20K for the child’s education, and more. Moreover, he claimed to have adopted 6ix9ine’s child, though it doesn’t appear as though this part of the gag was real.

For obvious reasons, SteveWillDoIt is under the impression that 6ix9ine’s not too happy with him right now. According to him, he could even be in danger. He took to Twitter/X yesterday to share some alleged DMs between him and the performer. He also let fans know that if anything happens to him, it’s likely that 6ix9ine was responsible.

According to Toriana, he only took the vehicle back because he was upset she left Atlanta to care for her mother. He denies this, instead claiming that Toriana left “out of nowhere” after learning that her mother had filed for child support.

Things got pretty heated at the time, and eventually, the Louisiana-born performer released a song about the debacle called “Ungrateful.” On it, he throws various jabs at both his daughter and her mother.
