Chrisean Rock Arrested While Attending Blueface Court Hearing

Chrisean Rock and Blueface have had a tumultuous relationship over the years. They dated from 2020 to 2023, and welcomed a child after their split. Despite their separation, Chrisean Rock has made a point of supporting Blueface throughout his various legal battles. The “rapper “Thotiana” rapper was arrested for violating his probation back in January, and the subsequent court hearing was held June 10 in a San Fernando Valley courthouse. Things took an unexpected turn, however, when Rock showed up and was promptly arrested.

TMZ reported that Chrisean Rock attended the hearing with her daughter. As soon as she entered the courtroom, however, she was handcuffed by officers and hauled off. The outlet was informed that San Fernando Valley police were waiting for Rock to show up. Officers reportedly escorted Rock’s child away while patting the rapper down to ensure she didn’t have weapons on her person. It was unclear as to why Rock was being arrested, initially. It was later revealed to be tied to a felony fugitive warrant that dates back to 2022.

Chrisean Rock is being held without bail. She’s also being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, which stems from the aforementioned 2022 warrant that was sworn out in Oklahoma. The rapper was fully aware that she was being sought out for these charges. Yet, she told IG Live viewers that she had better things to do than turn herself in during a March stream. “I been paying off fees and getting rid of s**t, talking to certain people,” Rock noted. “I have my son. The old me would have just turned myself in and dealt with it. The inside through the outside of the jail. Whatever… Right now, I gotta play it cautious ’cause I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing.”

Chrisean Rock is no stranger to legal setbacks. The rapper has been arrested multiple times since 2020. She was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in May of that year. She was also charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing during a 2022 stop in Arizona.

ASAP Rocky Skips Status Hearing In His Assault Case With No Trial In Sight

ASAP Rocky chose to skip out on his status hearing on Wednesday (March 6), for whatever reason, and there is still no trial on the horizon for this assault case. Moreover, for those unaware, group colleague ASAP Relli accused him of shooting at him multiple times, and hitting him once, during a November 2021 confrontation in Hollywood. Now, though, it seems like this case is very much in limbo, and according to reporter Meghann Cuniff, no trial date was set during this hearing. However, the court did schedule a pre-trial hearing for May 26, so we’ll have to wait and see if someone budges before trial.

Furthermore, the last update we got on this case was ASAP Rocky’s not guilty plea and his lawyer Joe Tacopina’s assurance that they will prove his innocence. “We’re going to try the case in the courtroom,” he told reporters back in January of this year. “And when we do, facts will come out that show that he’s truly innocent. And that he’s a victim in this case.” L.A. County attorneys on the prosecution’s side had expressed to Judge Karla Kerlin that they weren’t anticipating a plea deal to sidestep a full trial.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – AUGUST 17: Rapper A$AP Rocky pleads not guilty to assault charges during his arraignment hearing at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center on August 17, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. In addition, ASAP Rocky also has a highly anticipated album to make, but his family and this legal case have definitely become a lot to handle. Authorities arrested him over this incident in 2022 with two assault charges with a semi-automatic firearm. “Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood,” L.A. County District Attorney George Gascón remarked around this time. “My office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case. We determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.”

Meanwhile, after a $550,000 bond, the “Gangsta” rapper and his team hope that September will be the start of the end. “We hope to be on trial by September in this case,” his lawyer shared. “I want to get this done and over with so he can start enjoying his family and move on.” If convicted, Rakim Mayers could face up to nine years behind bars. Boosie Badazz Pleads Not Guilty To Gun Charge

Lousiana rapper Boosie Badazz appeared in court yesterday, where he pleaded not guilty to a gun-related charge. The court hearing took place in San Diego, where the rapper caught the charge when filming a music video with Bully Three earlier this month. According to reports, he was taken to a San Diego County jail and hit with a total of four charges on May 6, 2023.

The charges include felony in possession of a firearm and concealed carry weapon in a vehicle. He was also charged for possession of ammunition by a prohibited person and unlisted owner of a registered firearm. Another person who was arrested alongside the rapper wasn’t charged in relation to the incident. While playing a show in San Diego before appearing in court, Boosie sent a message to police, telling them, “Suck my dick.” He also encouraged his audience to chant “f*ck San Diego police.”

Last month, N.O.R.E. gave props to Boosie along with T.I. for reconciling. He shared in a podcast, “I know that you could have went to war.” Adding, “Y’all could have just done a whole bunch of tremendous crazy shit.” He went on to commend the two artists for “[showing] that two Black men can get together and talk it out.” Adding, “A disagreement doesn’t always lead to y’all fighting and shooting,” and, “I’m so tired of violence.”

The two rappers’ beef started in 2020, when Dwayne Wade shared his support for his transgender daughter, and Boosie shared that he didn’t agree with it on social media. He was quickly met with responses calling him transphobic. T.I. chimed in, and also called the rapper out. It’s continued over the years with various social media back-and-forths and diss tracks. The most recent beef between the rappers began in February when Boosie called T.I. a “rat.” In August of 2022, Boosie was pulled over by police when he began to film the incident. He said, “They got me pulled over again, so I’m finna perform a concert in front the police.” After finding a small bag of weed in his vehicle the police let him go. He later apologized on social media, saying “I lost my cool this morning.”
