Oschino Thinks Either Jay-Z Or Joe Budden Is Lying About Beanie Sigel Situation

Oschino thinks something’s up with Joe Budden’s recent account of what Jay-Z texted him recently, which regarded their commentary on the former Roc-A-Fella rapper’s claims about Jay’s involvement in Beanie Sigel’s 2004 attempted murder case. For those unaware, Hov said that Oschino’s idea that he refused to stick up for Sigel in court is a lie, but his former colleague thinks that either the Roc Nation boss himself is lying or that the podcaster has something up his sleeve. It’s a bit of a complicated and contentious situation that probably won’t really escalate any further, but check out Oschino’s response down below to hear his take.

Furthermore, this is what Oschino had to say about Jay-Z’s alleged testimony in the Beanie Sigel case. “I came to court for Beanie when he allegedly shot somebody,” he told Say Cheese. “Jay-Z got on the stand and they said, ‘Are you gonna be responsible for him if we let him go?’ Jay-Z said, ‘No.’ I was there. This ain’t hearsay; this was me in the courtroom. I was just thinking, ‘What did he come to court for then?’

Oschino’s Response To Jay-Z & Joe Budden

“If I got a homie and all I gotta say is, ‘I’m responsible for him for him to get out,’ I’m saying it every time,” Oschino continued concerning Jay-Z’s supposed choices. “The judge was trying to give him an out. He said, ‘No.’ And nobody didn’t say nothing, nobody flinched. Mind you, I’m a jail n***a so I’m looking around like, ‘Nobody not saying nothing?!’ Like it was normal […] Maybe I’m too street in my thinking and maybe he was being more responsible, but I was thinking, ‘Man, these boys is different.’”

Meanwhile, doubting Jay-Z aside, this is not Oschino’s only controversial opinion as of late. “First of all, Drake got a whole country behind him,” he said of the Toronto rapper’s beef with Kendrick Lamar. “Drake got the most hits. Girls like Drake. Kendrick can rap too, but I think he overrated, though. All of his songs are not hot to me. When Drake sings, I hate it. When Drake sings, I cut it off. I say, ‘Drake, don’t do this.’ When Kendrick Lamar sings on some of his songs, he tries to go too deep, I’m like… [unimpressed expression].”

Young Thug Trial: Lil Wayne No Longer On Witness List, Birdman, Rich Homie Quan, & YFN Lucci Remain

Lil Wayne will no longer be called to testify during Young Thug’s ongoing RICO trial, but several key figures in the iconic rapper’s career remain on the witness list. Birdman, Rich Homie Quan, and YFN Lucci’s names all appear among the approximately 200 that could be called into court. The update comes after Gunna’s name disappeared from the list as well. The state previously named over 700 possible witnesses.

Thug’s trial officially began back in November, but there was a multi-week pause in December due to one of the rapper’s co-defendants, Shannon Stillwell, getting stabbed in jail. He was first arrested on gang-related charges back in May 2022 but was later charged with seven additional felonies.

As for Gunna, rumors that he intended to snitch on Thug surfaced after he took a plea deal in the case back in 2022. When he got out of jail, he set the record straight with a statement on the decision. “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he said at the time. He’s also had to reference the drama on several songs he’s dropped in the time since. The decision led to back and forths with several rappers including Lil Durk and Lil Baby.

Sleepy Hallow’s “The Breakfast Club” Interview Canceled Over Safety Concerns, Rapper Claims

Recently, Sleepy Hallow took to social media to air some of his frustrations. According to him, he’s had various appearances canceled as of late. The rapper claims that organizers have cited “safety” and “security” issues as their reasons for cancelling. He believes that the debacle surrounds his ongoing court case.

“Last week I had a mental health expo I couldn’t attend cause they said something about ‘safety issues,’” he began. “Today The Breakfast Club dubbed me talking bout ‘security issues’ like they ain’t know I was coming this whole week.” He then went on, seeming annoyed that he’s being perceived as dangerous. “Honestly I know it’s cause of my court case,” he explained. “But I thought I was innocent until proven guilty lol.” Luckily for him, it looks like he could still lock in an appearance on No Jumper, based on an encouraging comment from Adam 22. “Lol Just do no jumper wtf is the breakfast gonna ask you,” he wrote.

Sleepy Hallow Claims His Court Case Is To Blame

Back in May, Sleepy Hallow was arrested in connection to a series of Brooklyn shootings. Also among those charged in the indictment was Sheff G. “The senseless gun violence, allegedly committed by these defendants, terrorized our neighbors for years and left more than a dozen people with serious injuries. It is distressing to know that some of the violence was allegedly fueled by a young man who used money he made from a successful music career to allegedly pay for and encourage acts of violence,” Brooklyn D.A. Eric Gonzalez said of the arrests.

Despite his legal troubles, Sleepy Hallow has continued to release music over the past few months. In September, he unveiled his first album since his 2021 debut, Still Sleep? The project, Boy Meets World, boasts features from Marshmello, Doechii, Fivio Foreign, Lil Tjay, and more. What do you think of Sleepy Hallow claiming to have had various appearances canceled due to his court case? After his sentencing was initially expected to be handed down yesterday, the hearing was extended to today. Subsequently the event has come with a landslide of news surrounding the trial as well. Megan herself also made a statement on the situation showing the rapper no mercy.

As fans continue waiting to hear about his sentencing some are getting more and more antsy. Earlier today one of Tory’s superfans went viral for a rant against Megan Thee Stallion. What a person who will beat Mariah Buckles *ss looks like, okay?” she begins. “I’m Ashley Ramirez. Nice to meet you. I will beat Mariah The Scientist’s *ss for Tory Lanez! I know he’s a f*cking man. That’s apart of the reason why he’s in the courtroom but I’m a woman! I’ll beat the f*ck out of Mariah The Scientist!”

Tory Lanez’ Super Fan

6ix9ine Misses Court Date, Could Have To Pay Out

The controversies seemingly never stop for 6ix9ine. Over the weekend the rapper released his new song “Shaka Laka” which saw him teaming up with Kodak Black. The song attracted a lot of negative attention, primarily from those upset that Kodak would work on a song with an artist who has been labeled a snitch. Just this morning, 6ix9ine again popped up this time calling out industry blackballing. He claimed that his new song is just as popular as the new Travis Scott track “K-POP,” which also features two of the biggest stars in the music industry Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. The comparison of their two music videos, which had the same amount of views at the time, sparked discussion among fans.

Now according to AllHipHop, there’s more bad news for the rapper. They reported that 6ix9ine recently no-showed for a court appearance that related to unpaid credit card bills. Since he failed to show up, the company is asking the judge in the case to default on the amount owed. That could end up being bad for the rapper, who reportedly owes almost $120k on the card. That could be on top of money he reportedly owes to streaming company Stremusic. After they paid the rapper $2 million for shows and promotion, he failed to deliver. The resulting lawsuit is still ongoing.

6ix9ine Skips Out On Court Date

While 6ix9ine’s new song only had a few hundred thousand streams on Spotify, it has over 7 million views on YouTube. The disparity has fans talking about whether or not there are some industry tricks being deployed against the rapper. Kodak Black made the live debut of the song during his performance at Rolling Loud Festival Miami over the weekend.

All of this comes after 6ix9ine teased fans with a potential return to trap music. On his last album, he made a notable shift into the sounds of reggaeton that not all of his fans were feeling. What do you think of 6ix9ine missing a court date in his most recent legal drama? Let us know in the comment section below.

Michael Jackson Molestation Allegations Will Officially Go To Trial

Michael Jackson will officially be tried for sex crimes related to Wade Robinson when he was a child. According to TMZ, the California Court of Appeal will allow Robinson to make his case. His claims state that Jackson molested him in Neverland Ranch between the ages of 7 to 14. Robinson is actually suing Michael Jackson’s corporation MJJ Productions. Jackson’s lawyers have argued that MJJ Production had no ability to control Jackson, therefore no duty to protect Robinson. After that was originally ruled in favor of the company an appellate court has now overturned that rule and it will go to a trial.

In 2005 Michael Jackson was on trial for molestation of a different boy and Robinson testified. At the time he said that while he did lay in a bed with Jackson, nothing further ever happened. Years later when he filed a lawsuit against the company he claimed “complete manipulation and brainwashing” were the reasons for his inaccurate testimony. Another man who filed a lawsuit with similar claims is expected to also get his opportunity for trial. Despite the ruling representatives for Jackson told TMZ that they suspect the truth will come out and they will prevail during the trial.

Recently many were reminded of Michael Jackson’s influence when Britney Spears posted some throwback tribute pics. Spears posted a video of the two legendary pop figures dancing together. He was also recently honored by Lil Kim while she was on tour. Fittingly she’s touring with none other than Janet Jackson.

In other legal news, Jackson’s estate is working through a trial of its own. His own mother is set to testify against having his masters sold. The proposed sale for his music was expected to run over $800 million. What do you think about the newest legal developments for Michael Jackson? Let us know in the comment section below.

T.I. Wins Small Victory In Court Against Woman Who Says He Held Gun To Her Head

T.I. is nearing the end of a lengthy legal battle against Sabrina Peterson. The woman is a former friend of his wife, Tiny Harris. Peterson filed a lawsuit in 2021, accusing the rapper of harassment. She claimed that T.I. held her at gunpoint. However, a California judge’s recent decision has struck down several claims in Peterson’s lawsuit. According to Law360, the Second District Court of Appeal in California dismissed Peterson’s claims for trade libel, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and intentional and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage. T.I. and Tiny had filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. In it, they have cited California’s anti-SLAPP law, which protects free speech.

While the couple’s initial motion was denied, the appeals court ultimately sided with them. However, Peterson’s case has not been completely dismissed. She is now required to pay the couple’s legal fees and costs incurred in moving to strike the claims on which they prevailed. T.I. and Tiny’s lawyer, Andrew B. Brettler, expressed satisfaction with the decision. He says he and is confident in clearing his clients of Peterson’s defamation and false claims.

The controversy began in January 2021 when Peterson, previously believed to be a friend of Tiny Harris, alleged on Instagram that T.I. had put a gun to her head in front of her children. She claimed the incident occurred while she was defending herself against T.I.’s former female assistant, whom she accused of mistreating Tiny. Peterson also publicized allegations of sexual assault made by other women against T.I. and Tiny. In response, the couple denied these accusations on social media.

In her posts about the alleged incident, Peterson had quite a bit to say. “The sad part about being a woman & BEING A BLACK WOMAN IS THIS! The public PRAISES OUR PREDATORS! [T.I.], you PUT A GUN TO MY HEAD IN FRONT OF CHILDREN & I NEVER CALLED THE POLICE ON YOU! But for years, you have painted me as the VILLAIN!” she wrote. What do you think of the case? YNW Melly Murder Case: What We Know

In February 2019, Florida rapper YNW Melly was arrested on two counts of first-degree murder. Born Jamell Demons, the then-19-year-old was amid a swelling rap career under the YNW Melly moniker. From collaborating with Kanye West to delivering the hit single “Murder On My Mind,” he had a highly successful career ahead of him. Unfortunately, the song was more-so engrained in reality rather than fiction than fans would’ve thought.

Demons had an early fascination with music as an outlet for his chaotic childhood. Listening to artists like Chris Brown, he began recording music as a wild teenager. His mother gave birth to him when she was the mere age of 14. However, that lack of guidance would manifest in various unhealthy fixations. Demons took a precocious interest in guns as early as elementary school. In fact, he’s openly discussed bringing a revolver with him to school daily in fourth grade.

YNW Melly Had A Past Of Violence

YNW Melly’s song “Murder On My Mind” was rooted in his fixation with firearms. As a 16-year-old, he was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of discharging a firearm in a public setting. He later told Billboard that being locked up inspired his chorus on the track, stating, “The first time I got locked up. I was like 15 or 16. I woke up and I had that chorus.”

On the track, Melly states, “His body dropped down to the floor and he had teardrops in his eyes/ He grabbed me by my hands and said he was afraid to die/ I told ’em it’s too late my friend, it’s time to say ‘goodbye.’” In retrospect, his fixation with violence was certainly unhealthier than the traditional discussions surrounding the topic in hip-hop. However, “Murder On My Mind” was released when outraged barbarity became mainstream hip-hop’s mainstay. Amid the SoundCloud era of sound, YNW Melly’s hit track blended in with other trap-banger hits that covered similar narratives.

Demons & YNW Bortlen Face Two Counts Of Murder

Before being arrested in February 2019 for the murder of two of his past friends, he had been in and out of prison. It’s a wonder that YNW even managed to grow his career continually. He was in a cyclical and chaotic routine. Melly would spend roughly six months in prison, then create music and persistently tour when he was out. On August 3, 2018, he released his first full-length mixtape in the form of I Am You. From a Chris Brown interpolation to the maternal ode in the form of “Mama Cry,” the mixtape blended his signature bangers with a softer side to his creative personality.

While creating his first full-length studio album, YNW Melly was associated with a new controversy. Christopher Thomas Jr and Anthony Williams, members of the YNW crew, were shot and killed on October 26, 2018. The two were dead before police arrived at the scene. Known as close friends and fellow MCs to Melly, he took to social media to mourn their passing, stating, “They took my brothers from me over jealousy.”

A few months later, Melly’s official documentary arrived on YouTube. The documentary primarily focuses on his troubling prison life and rise to fame. However, the end of the video claims that YNW Melly and his two murdered friends were the targets of a drive-by shooting in Miami. On the same day, he revealed that he was recording with Kanye West for the rumored Yandhi.

Melly Is Potentially Facing The Death Penalty

While Kanye West and YNW Melly were reportedly working together on music, Melly was arrested on murder charges along with Cortlen Henry, known as YNW Bortlen, on February 13, 2019. Police alleged that he shot and killed Thomas Jr and Williams. Furthermore, they accused Melly of staging the deaths as a drive-by shooting to clear his name.

Even during Melly’s time in prison, he continued releasing albums likely in the vault before he began serving time. Melly vs. Melvin spent 31 weeks on the Billboard 200 charts. Just a Matter of Slime featured Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Future, and more. The album debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Since YNW Melly was imprisoned on murder charges, he has yet to see the light of day. Melly is set to face trial on the week of June 20th, with the jury selection process still ongoing. Per Florida’s recent law changes, only eight juror votes are now required to recommend the death penalty if a defendant is found guilty. This isn’t the case for Henry, who has been under house arrest since 2020. Now 24, YNW Melly has received a slew of supportive messages under the tag #FreeMelly. His little brother, dubbed YNW BSlime, has been releasing multiple tracks calling for his release.
