C Stunna & Real Boston Richey Coast Over An Ominous Beat On “Lose Control”

Two of Florida’s newest stars are teaming up to make waves along the East Coast. Those two gentlemen are C Stunna and Real Boston Richey and they have recently collaborated on a track called “Lose Control”. This is the former’s second release of the year, and it follows up on “Curtis Jackson”, which dropped in April. What is even better is that C Stunna is coming through with a new album very soon.

2021 was the last time we got a new tape from him, which was called Stone Cold Stunna. It was nearly a total solo project outside of one track. 2020 saw him drop his first two LPs, Stunna 4 President and then Stunna Season prior to that. So, this has certainly been a long time coming for someone who is still looking to make their mark.

“Lose Control” could have been a mixed bag. Even with the Florida connection, C Stunna and Real Boston Richey have never worked with one another. BlakeIANA is looking to continue her momentum with her latest single “See Us”, which features Skilla Baby.

This song follows up on her “Pricey” record with Moneybagg Yo and since its release, it has been received well. It is one of BlakeIANA’s biggest collaborations, as she has also worked with Sexyy Red and Jeremih. Now, she can add Detroit MC Skilla Baby to that ever-growing list. On “See Us”, BlakeIANA glides over a ChopSquad DJ beat that goes hard on the bass and pianos.

Lancey Foux & Teezo Touchdown Are The Next Artists Up For The Cash Cobain Treatment With “Daylight”

Cash Cobain has had his fingerprints all over the place as of late. The New York bred rapper and producer has quickly risen in popularity and notoriety amongst fans and his peers for his unmistakable style. Considered “sexy drill”, this man absolutely lives for the nighttime and creating wavy club bangers. Over the last few weeks, Cash has seemingly worked with every major artist you can think of, including J. Cole of all people.

Additionally, he got to work alongside Don Toliver and Charlie Wilson on “Attitude”, which will land on the former’s forthcoming album Hardstone Psycho. Cash also produced for Ice Spice and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, just to name a few extra. Now, he is working alongside UK multi-hyphenate Lancey Foux for his collaborative single “Daylight”, which also features the eclectic Teezo Touchdown. Over the last couple singles, Foux has been doing some interesting things over in the R&B space, and this is another venture.

MESSIAH!, MAVI, & Ovrkast. Collab On Soothing Single “Silent Heel”

Underground lo-fi rapper MESSIAH(!) has created something truly special with MAVI and Ovrkast on “silent heel”. This is the latest offering from the Charlotte, North Carolina native, who has been quite silent. In fact, this is his first release since his short 2022 solo album PERFECT 7 which featured seven cuts. But it seems that MESSIAH! has been reinvigorated to some degree with “silent heel” out.

As we mentioned, MAVI and Ovrkast. appear here, and the former is a frequent collaborator and fellow Charlotte native. Ovrkast. is best known for his beat making abilities, but he also provides some bars here. He opens up the lowkey cut with a verse that seems to be about a friend who is dealing with a severe drug addiction. Then, MESSIAH! comes through next and delivers a similarly impressive performance.

He gets real about living a passionate, go-getter type of lifestyle and how it can hurt you in some ways. Trae Tha Truth & A$AP Ferg Team Up For Hazy & Braggadocious Single “Rock Out”

Trae Tha Truth does not the credit he deserves for being a standout voice in the Southern hip-hop scene. With so many legends, especially from Houston (where he is from), his name does not get brought enough. He is not a hit song writer, but he is able to create these luxuriously smoky bangers with ease. That trademark style has taken him a long way, as he is now over 20 years deep into his career.

Recently, Trae Tha Truth dropped off a new single, “Rock Out”, which provides a hazy environment right from the jump. Joining him on this spacey cut is A$AP Ferg, or FERG. Surprisingly, this is the first time that we are hearing these veterans on the same record. Their approach to creating tracks is different. However, it is not to the point that sticking them on the same beat does not make sense at all.

In fact, FERG brings an incredibly wavy performance on “Rock Out” which fits the vibe to a tee. His “Rooocckkk outtt” background vocals add so much extra character to the instrumental as well. This is the latest and second single from his and Mike & Keys forthcoming album APT 6E. This collaboration effort with the Los Angeles, California based producing duo is expected to be out this year. However, there remains to be a true release date or speculated month so far. The lead single, “SO MUCH CHANGED” with Stacy Barthe dropped in early May.

It appears that 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE has an NBA legend keeping tabs on their work. The genre-bending collective that is linked to record label 88rising has quickly become a new force in hip-hop. Their unique and unpredictable style has given us some fun records. Due to their versatility, they are working with all sorts of artists such as Rich Brian, Rick Ross, redveil, Smino, BADBADNOTGOOD, Amaarae, and more. However, their newest single, “Raw I Know I Got It,” sees them team up with Shaquille O’Neal, his EDM DJ alias DIESEL, and producer NITTI.

Casual hip-hop fans may not know that the NBA big man was rapping on the side during the early stages of his playing career. Even though he took a long hiatus from spitting in the booth, Shaq has kept the passion alive. Recently, he has been hopping on tracks with Meek Mill and Rick Ross, as well as the L.A. duo Coyote. On “Raw I Know I Got It,” Shaq is bragging and boasting to the max about his accomplishments when he was viewed as the most dominant player ever.

For Key Glock, he is just continuing to stay on his hot streak of singles. Over the last couple of months, he has remained as consistent as anyone, with songs like “The Greatest,” “F*** Around & Find Out,” the mutliple “Let’s Go” remixes, and more. For Doe Boy, he has also been on quite the heater himself. This effort follows up on “Shoulda Coulda Woulda,” “HUH,” and “Say It To My Face.”

The Shepard’s Bush, London drill rapper has billed himself as one of the UK’s biggest voices over the last few years. He has done so by creating catchy bangers like “Doja” and “Sprinter.” Additionally, you can attribute his success due to his crossovers with the likes of J. Cole, Drake, The Kid LAROI, PinkPantheress, and more.

While singles and features are great, fans, and us at HNHH alike, are still waiting on a new project from Cench. That could be happening sometime this year, with CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS being the speculated title. There is no confirmed information that it will happen this year, but we feel the chance is strong. Cee has been quite active in 2024, dropping his take on R&B with “I Will,” as well as a “CC FREESTYLE,” which has recently been removed from his YouTube page.
