Halle & Chloe Bailey Have Hilariously Different Reactions To TikTok Donations

Chloe and Halle Bailey are famously versatile sister talents. The two made music together for years as Chloe x Halle. They released two studio albums The Kids Are Alright in 2018 and Ungodly Hour in 2020. Since then the pair have gone on hiatus as a duo. Instead they’ve focused both on their own solo music projects as well as other ventures. Halle made her major move to film acting with a staring role in The Little Mermaid last year and also released her debut solo single “Angel,” which went on to be nominated for a Grammy. Chloe on the other hand released an entire debut album called In Pieces last year.

In a hilarious new video making the rounds online, a fan compared the way the two talented sisters reacted when getting donations from fans on TikTok live. Halle is first and takes a much more modest approach. When she realized what she’s getting is actual money, she insists that fans save their money instead of donating it to her. Chloe is hilariously much more open to receiving donations. When she realizes that there’s actual money being thrown around, all she wants to know is how she can collect it. In the comments fans crack jokes about the difference between the pair. “Halle is my heart , Chloe is my brain” and “Halle is my first answer when somebody first offer, Chloe is my third or fourth answer after you keep insisting” two comments read. Chleo Bailey hasn’t slowed down her solo music releases this year. She’s already dropped two new singles teasing towards her sophomore solo album in 2024. “FYS” dropped first back in March and was followed up by “Boy Bye” a few weeks later.

Chloe Bailey plays opposite The Gladiator star Russell Crowe is the upcoming horror film, The Exorcism. Not to be confused with the classic horror film The Exorcist, this film is one of those film within a film ideas that might work with a spine tingling horror twist. 

Here’s the official synopsis:

Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe stars as Anthony Miller, a troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter, Lee (Ryan Simpkins), wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.

As for Bailey, she plays an actress who takes precautions due to the subject matter of the movie she’s cast in, her character, not the real Bailey. But it’s clear from the jump scare worthy trailer. Crowe is the one who needs an exorcist.

Directed by Joshua John Miller, the film also stars Sam Worthington (Avatar), Adam Goldberg and David Hyde Pierce.

The Exorcism takes over theaters on June 7.

Chlöe Takes The Ladies On A Retreat Through The Desert In Her ‘Boy Bye’ Video

Chlöe’s rhythmic reign continues. Tonight (April 12), the stellar R&B act has shared her new single, “Boy Bye,” after teasing it for the past week.

When speaking of the song in a statement, Chlöe described “Boy Bye” as “an anthem for anyone who needs to get rid of someone toxic and draining from their life. It’s liberating and free.” Over an energetic, dance-ready beat, Chlöe has decided that she’s done putting up with a man’s sh*t. Unafraid to let go and start anew, she gives this man the ultimate kiss-off.

“I was always loyal, always takin’ the fall / When we were together you were never involved / If we bein’ honest, it was never my fault / You just gave a little while I gave you my all,” sings Chlöe on the song’s chorus.

In the accompanying video, Chlöe is seen emerging from a trailer, and she’s ready to hand it to a deceitful ex. After cussing him out, Chlöe embarks on a road trip with her girlfriends, letting go of all the pain and heartache. As she grows empowered, the video makes a surprising turn. But as the credits roll, we see who she does it all for — those persevering through a broken heart.

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t phrased by Instagram’s stern warning over posting NSFW content. To prove how unfazed she is, Meg has put her “best ass on Instagram” title on the line for an open twerk challenge.

Yesterday (April 6), the entertainer took to her official page to announce the competition. “IG after dark LOL,” she wrote. “And nobody better not challenge me because this the best ass on Instagram 🤪. Or, if you think so, tag me in your video 😂. Stream ‘Wanna Be.’”

So far, only two brave souls have come forward to battle it out. The first submission came from Baddies producer Natalie Nunn. Users online didn’t quite feel that attempt.

But the fitness model Scotty’s clip has users online ready to crown a winner.

“I’m afraid she already won.”

Now, Meg’s followers are attempting to tag others into the challenge. The names thrown around so far include SZA and Uproxx cover star Chlöe. However, the “FYS” singer laughed off supporters request. “I’m afraid she already won 😭,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The only person who could potentially compete with Meg is her “Wap” collaborator, Cardi B. This could motivate Cardi to redeem herself from the last zero-rated twerk video she released.

This follows her previous 2024 cut, “FYS” and should excite fans quite heavily, especially so soon after her 2023 album In Pieces. Not only that, but the multi-disciplined entertainer also combined her career developments with her social media thirst traps and a new dance to go along with the single to boot. During an Instagram Live session, she taught fans a dance for “Boy Bye” ahead of its release, commented on her body, and advised them to get their squat reps in before trying her moves out.

“I feel like I’m losing a little bit of it. You see it, right?” Chloe Bailey said of her behind on the social media platform, showing off its side profile. “Right? This stomach’s getting snatched,” she responded to a fan commenting on her seemingly slimmer waist. Of course, the R&B singer and actress has people interested in her attractiveness and style for two reasons. One is because they’re appealing, and the other is the people who they’re rumored to be appealing to.

If you’ve ever been to an Offset show, you know it’s about to be lit.

On Friday, March 29th, the Migos rapper took the stage at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles during his Set It Off Tour, which was announced in January. This tour supported his most recent solo album, Set It Off, released in October of last year. The project featured standout appearances from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Mango Foo, Latto, Young Nudy, and Chlöe. 

Of course, when you’re in the city of Angels, you know the special guest appearances are about to be stacked. First up was Chicago rapper Polo G, before bringing out Ty Dolla $ign, Rich The Kid, Lil Tecca, and Gunna. Offset and Gunna performed their standout collaboration on “Prada Dem,” who’s official music video has hit over four million views in just two weeks.

The highlight of the evening arrived as Chloe Bailey took the stage, performing their song “Princess Cut.” As always, Chloe slayed in all black with her diamonds shining bright. However, this specific moment has generated a lot of chatter among fans, as Chloe is seen getting up close and personal with Offset. As you can see in the video, she touches his leg and proceeds to park herself right next to him, at one point asking him to sing (hilarious).

Of course, we all know she and Gunna are an item, so it doesn’t seem the romance rumors hold any weight. The two were seen hand in hand after the show.

Looks like we’ll have to sit tight and see what happens!

During her time in the spotlight, 2022 Uproxx cover star Chloe Bailey has made it clear that she’s somebody who knows her worth. On that front, she’s not about to settle for less than she believes she deserves, so she has some red flags that will send her running the other way if she spots them in a man. Bailey was just asked about that and she presented her list of no-no’s.

In a recent Instagram Live broadcast, Bailey answered a fan’s question, explaining, “Oh, what are the red flags for me? Liars. Cockiness, I hate cockiness. And if someone isn’t excited about the things that I’m excited about. You don’t have to like them, but to just know that you care about what make me happy. Like, if you don’t… [buzzer noise] [laughs].”

So, there you have it: Be honest, humble, and engaged, which sounds like good advice for a relationship with anybody, not just Bailey.

Speaking of relationships: Last summer, Bailey came through for a fan who just got broken up with… at one of Bailey’s concerts, no less.
