DDG Trolled With Fake Halle Bailey Cheating Apology

Earlier this month, DDG took to Instagram to share a lengthy message confirming his split from Halle Bailey. “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true,” he wrote in part. “We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our own individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.”

Of course, the announcement sparked a great deal of speculation about what led to the breakup. Rumors even swirled that cheating could have allegedly had something to do with it, but this isn’t confirmed. Regardless, internet trolls are out in full force, as evidenced by one of his recent livestreams.

At one point in the stream, someone falsely claiming to be “Halle” sent DDG a donation, along with a fake apology for allegedly cheating on him with Brent Faiyaz. “Alright, y’all doing too much,” he responded simply. Luckily, DDG didn’t appear to be too upset by the cruel joke. After all, it was far from the only taunting he’d experienced since announcing the breakup. Last week, for example, one TikToker put him on blast for having a child with Bailey. She accused him of having “trapped” the Little Mermaid star, prompting a passionate response.

“CPM’s not that high for you to be on there talking for two minutes about me,” he fired back. “You got two kids, I looked on your Instagram…. with no baby daddy. But you worry about me… Y’all need to stop. I be seeing what y’all be saying, bro.” Shortly after the split was announced, social media users also joked that Usher could have allegedly been to blame. At one point in the episode, the gossip blogger asked Kemp to elaborate on her allegation that Ross slept with Gucci Mane’s wife Keyshia Ka’oir while the rapper was in jail.

According to her, she watched Ka’oir allegedly pick Rick Ross up from his house herself. “I seen it with my own eyes when she was wearing that blue lipstick and mohawk and all that,” she alleged. “When she came over there when Gucci was in jail and she came to pick him up from the house.”

This isn’t the first fans have heard of this story, however. In January of this year, she told the same story on Instagram Live. “Gucci Mane, he f*cked Keyshia Ka’oir while you was in prison,” Kemp alleged. “I seen her pulling out from his studio house in that Rolls-Royce she was driving. It was a white one. This the truth though, allegedly, and it’s the truth. I ain’t gotta lie. Lie detectives pay me. It’s going to be in the book. I don’t give a f*ck. They can’t sue me. I ain’t lying. That girl better go prove to her husband and Rozay that I’m telling the truth. ‘Cause he told me he done f*cked all these n****s h*es.”

At the time, Ka’oir shut these accusations down on her Instagram Story. “Ain’t neva had no dealings with Rick Ross PERIOD!” she wrote. “Keep my name out y’all mix up! Ross & my husband are friends! He then fired back by accusing her of sleeping with someone else while she was pregnant with their child. Of course, his allegation prompted a great deal of speculation about who her alleged lover could have been. According to DJ Akademiks, however, he has some inside info.

During a recent stream, he alleged that Offset caught Cardi B with an NFL player. He didn’t name any names, but described the mystery individual as a “dog.” Ak even claims he’s on his fantasy football team, which might speak to his athletic abilities. As for Cardi, she seemingly fired back by channeling her inner Whitney Houston.

She took to Twitter/X to share a clip of Houston’s famous Diane Sawyer interview. “But do you know? Do you really know?” the songstress asks. While it’s not confirmed that this was a response to DJ Akademiks, it certainly suggests that she’s telling her fans that he doesn’t really know anything about what she’s been up to. What fans do know for sure is that their relationship was on the rocks even before Cardi learned she was pregnant with her youngest child. She shared this with viewers on Instagram Live last month while telling them how she found out she’d be having a third.

“Me and my baby dad, we were on very bad terms,” she explained at the time. “I still called him and we kind of laughed about it because it was like, ‘What the f**k? Well, it turns out that this alleged flame actually responded to the whole thing. She denied ever meeting JR, claiming that she never responded to his DMs and that she doesn’t want an apology from Braxton. “On Tuesday, this woman made some very, very false accusations against me and who you guys call the KFC man,” she began. “They’re untrue. Additionally, it is being alleged that his side chick is now pregnant. This was all exposed in an Instagram story, although there is little proof right now to support the claims. However, the allegations have begun going viral on social media, with Akademiks and other accounts reporting on the IG story.
