Drake Supports French Montana’s Documentary Despite Rick Ross’ Cease And Desist Accusations

Back in April of this year, Rick Ross went after Drake in his scathing diss track, “Champagne Moments.” It was in response to shade thrown on Drake’s track “Push Ups,” which features a bar about Ross’ age and his biggest hits being with Drake. On it, he accuses the Toronto hitmaker of having cosmetic surgery, using ghostwriters, and more.

Ross also accuses Drake of hitting French Montana with a cease and desist over his “Splash Brothers” verse on the fiery track. “I unfollowed you, n***a ’cause you sent/ The motherf*ckin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana, n***a/ You sent the police, n***a, hatin’ on my dawg project,” he raps. Ultimately, the song was released with Lil Wayne replacing Drake. Gamma CEO Larry Jackson later confirmed this was true during an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Drake Shows Love To French Montana

“The cease-and-desist letter was a real thing. I thought that was really funny…but other than that, I got nothing,” he explained. “We all have different senses of humor. I thought it was funny, I didn’t think anybody was really trying to be nefarious. I just thought it was a joke.” Now, however, it at least appears that Drake and French Montana could be back on good terms. Recently, social media sleuths noticed that Drizzy liked one of French Montana’s Instagram posts about his upcoming documentary, The French Montana Story: For Khadija.

It’s worth noting that Drake is billed as an executive producer and a cast member of the film on IMDb. It’s unclear exactly when it was filmed, but it first premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. What do you think of Drake liking French Montana’s Instagram post despite Rick Ross previously accusing him of sending French Montana a cease and desist? Rick Ross Is Actually Amused After Seemingly Being Attacked By Drake Fans In Canada

Kendrick Lamar took a few hefty swings at Drake’s OVO Sound’s mascot in the “Not Like Us” video. But last month (June 30), it appears Drake fans decided to throw a few punches of their own—at Drizzy’s foe Rick Ross.

While performing in Montreal, the “Champagne Moments” rapper and his crew were seemingly rushed after playing the chart-topping Kendrick track. Yesterday (July 4), Ross finally issued a response to the brawl.

“Aye man, I’m thinking about the event that happened over there,” he said. “When the first dude stepped up to Rozay, the lil’ short fat one that looked like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling. When he stepped up, I squatted down, and his eyes had told him what I said. Basically, ‘Boy, if I hit you, imma see everything you ate for the last two days.’ His balls dropped out of his ass. He never said another word, he did never did nothing. He was a straight busta. Then the n**** behind him said, ‘I know MMA!’ And then I got hit with a drink. I’m still convinced ain’t no n**** punched me. Somebody said, ‘Rozay, the n**** tried to punch you, he hit you!.’ I said, ‘Nah, he had to throw a drink.’ ‘Cause throwing a drink would have been way more disrespectful than screaming, ‘I know MMA!’”

Typically, being attacked would rattle anyone. But not in Ross’ case. In fact, he seemed amused more so than anything else.

Fans Troll Rick Ross With Old Lyrics After Getting Stomped In Fight With Drake’s “Crew”

People across the internet are letting Rick Ross hear it after a vicious fight with alleged Drake fans. It is quite the bad look, as him and his crew were getting taken out left and right. One member of his entourage was repeatedly kicked and punched into the ground. Another got knocked out cold, and Ross even ate a nasty jab to the face during all of it as well. Drake seemingly appreciated what his fellow Canadians did for him, as he liked a post recapping the night’s event. 50 Cent piled on as well, writing on Instagram, “LMAO 🤣 THE GREAT ESCAPE! MEEKA CALL ☎ THE CHASERS, THEY ARE CHASING ME. 😆 LOL”.

Even his ex Tia Kemp was having lots of fun with it, showing absolutely no remorse. “They f***in’ his fat a** up. I’m glad they smacked the s*** out yo big a**”. However, Rick Ross is doing his best to downplay all of this. “I thought they were bottle service boys ha! Vancouver was fun, til next time”, the MMG label head said via an IG Story. However, his attempt to look tough after the fight is not working because fans are now getting in on the action.

Rick Ross made a feeble attempt to write a substantial diss track while Drake was trading records with Kendrick Lamar. The Mississippi native put out “Champagne Moments” earlier on in the feud and it did not perform well. Additionally, the lyrics and jabs taken were also not that strong and now the track and Ross are getting clowned again. After not doing much during the fight in Vancouver (besides getting socked), fans are trolling him with this bar, “Like his moves, but he never had a fight in school / Always ran“. Even though Ross has done his best to embarrass Drake at every turn, it seems he is the one with egg on his face.

What are your thoughts on fans digging up this lyric from “Champagne Moments” by Rick Ross after the fight? Does this make him look even worse afterwards, why or why not? Does this confirm Drake’s first win in the entire beef? Will Rick Ross recover from this quickly? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Rick Ross Changes Cover Art For Drake Diss “Champagne Moments”

Just when we thought the battle was over. Rick Ross was a minor player in the Drake vs. everybody narrative, but he still left an impression. Ross and Drake do, after all, have a stellar track record of hits together, and Ross’ social media trolling did gets laughs from Drake haters. Rozay’s diss, on the other hand, “Champagne Moments,” was met with muted response. Fans thought it was pretty lightweight in terms of content, but that didn’t stop the rapper for tweaking its cover art on streaming.

The cover art swap occurred on June 11. It was notable because, well, the original cover art was one of the most notable things about the original rollout. “Champagne Moments” was originally released with a viral image dating back to 2022. A user on the website 9gag found a photo in their grandma’s yearbook and posted it because they claimed it looked like “white Drake.” The photon gained traction, despite the true identity of the man never being divulged. Rick Ross’ decision to use the photo as his artwork revived the meme and brought it to the attention of those who missed it the first time around.

Rick Ross Ditched The Original “White Drake” Meme

The new artwork for “Champagne Moments” has a less thrilling backstory. It’s unclear if the change was made to avoid legal complications, but it features a drawing of Drake looking nerdy. The rapper is made to have glasses and a bowtie, as well as blond, floppy hair. It’s insulting, albeit not as memorable a cover as the original. The timing of the artwork change is also odd. “Champagne Moments” dropped way back in April, and every other artist has moved on from the battle. Some have gone out of their way to remove evidence of the battle on social media.

Drake caught a lot of flack for deleting his diss songs from Instagram on June 5. He wiped all the disses from the platform, including “Push Ups” and “Family Matters.” Both songs were mainly aimed at Kendrick Lamar, but contained disses for Rick Ross as well. In the case of the former, Drake pointed out that all of Ross’ biggest hits came from their collabs. The MMG boss seemed unbothered, however. He recently partnered with Julien’s Auctions to auction off an exclusive collection of street and contemporary art. Some of the most notable pieces included a Michael Jackson glove and several Air Jordan pairs.

Rick Ross Performs In Front Of Tiny Crowd In Now-Viral Video Amid Drake Beef

Rick Ross is currently in the thick of the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Overall, the Ross stuff has felt like a side quest in all of this. After “Push Ups” was released, we ended up getting “Champagne Moments” from Ross. The song was dropped very soon after, and it proved to be a hilarious footnote in all of this. Subsequently, Ross became the main man on the scene every single time Kendrick dropped a diss track of his own. From “Euphoria” to “Not Like Us,” Ross has been on the frontlines showing the people the impact of these tracks.

However, with Ross looking to step all over Drake, the latter’s fans have been finding all sorts of videos that aren’t the best look for Ross. For instance, below, you can find a video of Ross performing in front of a very tiny crowd. This video has been going viral since Wednesday, and fans are curious as to the context. It is unknown whether or not this is an old video or if it is from a recent performance. Either way, this doesn’t speak well to Ross’ popularity, which is always a huge component of rap beef.

Rick Ross Vs. Drake Inspires Pettiness

Despite this, fans still believe Drake is losing the overall war right now. “The Heart Part 6” was a disappointing response from Drake, especially since there were some downright baffling bars throughout. Now, it remains to be seen if either artist will continue to drop tracks. When it comes to Kendrick, they just want him to address the domestic violence allegations.

Let us know what you think of this clip of Rick Ross, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that the fans are going too far with this feud? Do you want to see another track from Rick Ross in all of this, or should he bow out at this point? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Rick Ross’ Private Jet Crash Landed, But The Rapper Managed To Find Humor In The Traumatic Incident Amid Drake Feud

So far, Drake and Rick Ross’ brewing beef hasn’t expanded beyond the studio. However, the “Champagne Moments” rapper joked that his foe might have taken it to the friendly skies.

Yesterday (May 3), on Instagram, a Drake fan page revealed that Ross’ private jet made a crash landing in Dallas, Texas. Initially, users online were hesitation to believe the claim made by Keep 6ix Solid, given the long list of allegations tossed around by the two entertainers. However, the jet covered in Ross’ personal and record label branding made it difficult to refute.

With the outlet’s post gaining traction, Ross took to his social media pages to confirm the story. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he managed to find humor in the traumatic incident.

“My jet just crashed,” he wrote. “Drake’s OVO F16 fighter jet just shot us down.”

Ross’ joke pointed out the irony in the situation after he spent the last few weeks clowning Drake for supposedly having a relic aircraft. He also alleged that Air Drake wasn’t intended for human passengers making it unsafe to travel in. So Ross’ jet being temporarily grounded is a sick twist of events.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the crash. Well, that’s not including Ross’ ego. He continued the unsavory joke in a dramatized and factually inaccurate recounting of the moments leading to the crash. View the full clip originally shared to Instagram below.

DJ Akademiks Claims Rick Ross’ Drake Diss Was Better Than Kendrick Lamar’s, Ross Responds

DJ Akademiks has been very vocal about the Drake situation with Kendrick Lamar. Overall, he has Drake winning the feud, although we always suspected that would be true. Akademiks is a huge Drake stan, and he would never go against him. Yesterday, Kendrick Lamar dropped off “Euphoria,” and in the minds of many, Lamar now has the lead. However, Ak begs to differ, and he was making some interesting comments on social media yesterday. For instance, he compared “Euphoria” to the Ross diss, “Champagne Moments.”

In the tweet below, you can see that Akademiks called “Champagne Moments” a better diss record than “Euphoria.” In Ak’s eyes, Ross was funny, while Kendrick regurgitated talking points we’ve already heard. To be fair to Kendrick, what did people expect? “The Story Of Adidon” has broken a lot of people’s brains as to how diss tracks are supposed to go. Regardless, Ross saw this praise from Akademiks, and decided that it would be a good idea to weigh in with more jokes at Drake’s expense.

DJ Akademiks Praises Rick Ross

“He really had his body altered,” Ross wrote. “Nose remixed. Abs edited.” This subsequently led to a response from Akademiks, who wrote “Why is Rick ross like this. Bruh can someone tell him we coming to his car show . Tell him to chilllllllll.” Ross is refusing to hold back, and it is definitely admirable. Now, fans are waiting for the Drake response, and it will be interesting to see what kind of angle he runs with.

Let us know what you think of DJ Akademiks and his hot take, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that Akademiks is wrong for what he is saying here? Do you believe that Rick Ross is doing too much with the Drake jokes? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Rick Ross Shares Shocking Fact About Drake Diss Track “Champagne Moments”

Earlier this month, Rick Ross fired back at Drake’s now-infamous track “Push Ups” with a diss track of his own, “Champagne Moments.” On the song, he took various shots at the Canadian performer, which resulted in an ongoing online back-and-forth. The feud has cooled off a bit in recent days, but nonetheless, Rick Ross is proud of his work.

Earlier this week, he took to social media to unveil a shocking new detail about his diss track, leaving his fans impressed. “Can you guess the age of the kid who produced ‘Champagne Moments’?” asked in an Instagram Story. “16. That’s right. 16 years old. Little man’s 16 years old and he’s the son of famed director Benny Boom.”

Rick Ross Reveals “Champagne Moments” Was Produced By 16-Year-Old Mini Boom

“Yeah, he go by the name Mini Boom,” Rozay continued. “So much love! Y’all show little homie some love. Boss.” Clearly, Mini Boom’s got some serious skills for his age, and talent must run in the family. As for Drizzy, his latest diss, “Taylor Made Freestyle,” hasn’t gone over so well. He used artificial intelligence to replicate the voices of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg to fire at Kendrick. Unfortunately, however, the late icon’s estate quickly threatened him with a lawsuit.

Litigator for the estate Howard King sent a letter to Drake giving him 24 hours to take the song down. “The Estate is deeply dismayed and disappointed by your unauthorized use of Tupac’s voice and personality,” it reads. “Not only is the record a flagrant violation of Tupac’s publicity and the estate’s legal rights, it is also a blatant abuse of the legacy of one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. The Estate would never have given its approval for this use.” What do you think of Rick Ross revealing that his Drake diss track was produced by a 16-year-old? How do you think Mini Boom did? Are you a fan of “Champagne Moments” or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Rick Ross is keeping the shots toward Drake going. Reigniting the “Champagne Moments” single, Rozay has delivered a video. Representing The Untouchable Maybach Empire, Rozay looks lavish in emerald green with the matching old-school ride.

With a bottle of Bumbu and Bel-Air next to his side, Rozay gets his bars off while iced out in an airplane hanger. You can see it below.

Meanwhile, on Friday, April 19th, fellow rapper Rick Ross graced the LIV stage, delivering an energetic performance of his newest single, “Champagne Moments.” The track has stirred controversy, as it’s perceived as a diss aimed at Drake amidst their ongoing public feud.

Rick Ross’s retaliation comes in response to Drake’s alleged diss track “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50).” As tensions between the two artists escalate, fans eagerly await the next move in this rap saga.

Rick Ross Has A Good Laugh At Drake In His ‘Champagne Moments’ Video

Rick Ross isn’t wasting any time in his ongoing feud with Drake. Over the past two weeks, Rozay shared his Drake diss “Champagne Moments” online and officially dropped it on streaming platforms.

“Champagne Moments” arrived just hours after Drake dropped “Push Ups,” dissing Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin’, and Ross himself.

Drake has since posted Instagram stories taunting Ross for exaggerating his wealthy lifestyle, and accusing him of being “racist” for calling him a “white boy.” Drake, however, has not responded to Ross’ diss reply in the form of a song. Ross, however, is doubling down.

Tonight (April 23), Ross shared the music video for “Champagne Moments.”

The video is fairly simple. In the clip, Ross is seen in his garage, sipping Luc Belaire champagne, next to a luxury vehicle. Unbothered, he also smokes a cigar, while laughing about the whole ongoing matter.

During the part of the song where Ross implies that Drake had cosmetic surgery — “Yeah, you had that surgery, that six-pack gone. That’s why you wearin’ that funny sh*t at your show, you can’t hide it” — Ross lifts up his shirt, and laughs into the camera.

We’ll see how long it takes Drake to respond to this.

You can see the “Champagne Moments” video above.
