Latto is currently making her way around the U.S. on a tour in support of her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The Atlanta hitmaker has been joined by Mariah The Scientist and KARRAHBOOO throughout the trek so far, and recently, she surprised fans with some additional exciting special guests. During her stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center yesterday (October 31), she brought out two native New Yorkers, Lil Kim and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

From the look of things, the crowd was feeling the performance, and there’s fortunately more to come. Latto’s “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” tour is set to run into December with upcoming shows in Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, and more.

Latto Performs At Barclays Center With Lil Kim & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

While Latto’s tour seems to be a tremendous success so far, it didn’t exactly start with a bang. The femcee took to social media shortly after her first performance in Tampa and made it clear she wasn’t happy. She also claimed she’d be confronting various members of her crew about how the show went. “Show was a hot mess,” Latto began at the time. “Could’ve been worse. But, hey baby, what can you do. I did my job.”

“I did my job,” she also added. “[The] lighting [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] video [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] wardrobe [team is] getting cussed out.” Luckily for Latto, it doesn’t appear as though fans had any complaints, and she has plenty of shows left to execute exactly the way she’d like. What do you think of Latto inviting various special guests to join her onstage for her Sugar Honey Iced Tea tour stop in Brooklyn? Who do you hope she brings out next? Diddy’s Life Is In Serious Jeopardy, According To Former MDC Warden

Diddy is currently in one of the most dangerous and “horrific” detention centers in the United States. After his first bail package was denied –it includes selling his and his mother’s Miami homes, as well as being under a watchful eye at all times– he was admitted into the MDC in Brooklyn. The Metropolitan Detention Center is constantly dealing with some sort of issues, with some being graver than others. According to Yahoo! News, they include “rampant violence, dreadful conditions, severe staffing shortages and the widespread smuggling of drugs and other contraband, some of it facilitated by employees”. At the same time, they say they’ve been subject to nearly perpetual lockdowns and have been barred from leaving their cells for visits, calls, showers or exercise.

Additionally, “perpetual lockdowns” are a commonality, as well as not being allowed to leave their cells for “visits, calls, showers or exercise”. However, easily the most harrowing is the number of suicides and general deaths at the MDC. Cameron Lindsay, a former warden from the detention center, tells TMZ that all of the former, especially the latter, are things Diddy should be extremely wary of. Lindsay says that other inmates see killing certain criminals as a “badge of honor”. The music mogul fits into that mold based on status alone, but also due to the scarring allegations.

Warden Details What Diddy Will Expect At The MDC In Brooklyn

Its why Diddy is currently being housed in the Special Housing Unit of the MDC. It’s a sector that keeps people like Diddy away from general prison mates. Lindsay also reveals that he won’t have a lot of access overall. That means one hour of rec time, three shows per week, three 1,800 calorie meals of varying freshness, and more. Furthermore, family and friends will have less time to see Diddy in comparison to his legal team. There’s also a commissary with available goods such as food, clothing, and some technology. Overall, the embattled star is going to have rough living conditions, to say the least.

What are your thoughts on this former warden detailing how much Diddy’s life is at risk at the MDC? Do you think he will avoid prison time with his latest bail package? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Diddy. Brooklyn OGs Claim Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel Fell Out

Apparently, the GS9 collective that partly pioneered Brooklyn drill is experiencing some trouble in paradise. Moreover, Brooklyn OGs claimed that Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel had a falling out over an NBA YoungBoy affiliation, and that Bobby can’t pass through certain neighborhoods. OG Product also reflected on Shmurda taking more prison time for Rowdy’s sake, citing this as a bad decision since he had much better career prospects that could’ve assisted them both a lot. The idea was apparently for them to do time together and come out together. Also, Product claimed that the “Hot N***a” MC took all his pictures with GS9 down on his Instagram.

As key members of that collective, hearing about this alleged rift between Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel is disheartening. Previously, Rowdy had some choice words for Shmurda’s comments about King Von. “I cud never beef with my brother Bobby. He free’d me from a whole bid. But yu other n***as hurd what I said. I SAID WHAT I SAID.” Bobby was actually speaking on Rebel’s own reflections on the Von beef, so it was a complicated game of telephone.

Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel Allegedly Parted Ways

“I felt like that s**t came out wrong,” Bobby Shmurda said of Rowdy Rebel’s comments. “He meant it in a good way, like that he wished that none of that s**t would’ve happened because he’s a fan of both. But sometimes, you can’t talk on other people’s s**t. Period. Rowdy’s probably in the wrong for that… but he ain’t mean it in the wrong way. He coming from a… older Black guy looking at young Black guys and liking both of their music. It’s like sometimes these emotions are going to come out. So when emotions is high, you don’t want to talk on situations. Sometimes, you gotta say, ‘Man, I just wish the best for everybody,’ and that’s it. Keep it at that. Shut the f**k up and don’t say s**t about the situation.”

Meanwhile, Bobby Shmurda has other possible rap beef opponents to worry about, such as Rick Ross. This reported issue with Rowdy Rebel is another mystery, but hopefully one that we get answers for soon. After all, this duo did too much for their scene for them to see this disappointing end. We’ll see if either of them address this…

Jam Master Jay Trial Begins Two Decades After His Murder

Jam Master Jay of Run DMC’s murder went unsolved for a long time, but almost 22 years after it, we will at least get an answer when it comes to two prime suspects. Moreover, after the jury selection phase kicked off a few days ago at press time, Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr.’s trial began with opening statements on Monday (January 29). They received these federal charges in 2020 for the Brooklyn incident, which they allegedly carried out as revenge for a cocaine deal gone wrong, prosecutors argue. If convicted of these crimes, they face life sentences in prison.

Furthermore, U.S. Disctrict Judge LaShann DeArcy Hall will oversee the trial, which is expected to last a month. When news first broke that Jam Master Jay’s alleged killers would face trial this month, many folks expressed a lack of hope in justice, if these are in fact the culprits. For one, some folks did witness the murder and police developed leads upon his loss, but these never came to fruition until the charges in August of 2020. In that way, it’s similar to unsolved cases in hip-hop such as the infamous and tragic examples of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur.

However, even though some rumored details of this trial didn’t manifest -– such as a double jury -– the details of the incident themselves remain murky. Prosecutors and the charges claim that Washington and Jordan intruded Jam Master Jay’s studio on October 30, 2002 at nighttime. Allegedly, Washington threatened another person in the room with a firearm, whereas Jordan shot Jay twice with one bullet striking his head at close range. In addition, prosecutors suggest that Jay had agreed to purchase 10 kilograms of cocaine that the suspects and other individuals distributed in Baltimore. The suspects chose to retaliate against the DJ when he exited the arrangement.

Meanwhile, Jay Bryant will face a separate trial for his alleged involvement in the murder, for which prosecutors charged him in May of 2023. Jordan and Washington maintain that attorneys waited too long to charge them, which will make it more difficult for them to prove their innocence due to faulty witness memory and cell phone records becoming unavailable over time. In September of 2022, a judge dismissed these concerns and questioned how they could counter prosecutors’ evidence in the first place. For more news and the latest updates on the Jam Master Jay trial, check back in with HNHH.

Kendrick Lamar Drops Over $8 Million On Brooklyn Penthouse

According to the New York Times, Kendrick Lamar made a major purchase this month, adding to his growing list of properties. He reportedly bought a duplex at Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which cost him $8.6 million. It was originally listed at $8.99 million.

The luxury penthouse boasts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, coming in at just over 3000 square feet. Of course, it also features a breathtaking view of the NYC skyline, extravagant building amenities, outdoor space, and more. He was first reported to be eyeing the property back in August. He eyed another pricey residence in the Big Apple before the purchase, which was going for a whopping $9.85 million. It was slightly bigger than his new penthouse and would have made him neighbors with Zendaya, but Kendrick’s surely content with his choice.

This is far from Kendrick’s first property purchase, as he reportedly owns various other residences in California. In 2022, he bought a mansion in Bel Air built in the 50s by California architect Edward Fickett. The 8,000-square-foot property includes seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, costing him a staggering $15.9 million. He also owns a $9.7 million house in Manhattan Beach, and two more properties in Southern California. He previously told Wild 94.9 that he “really [likes] to buy property.” Clearly, he wasn’t kidding.

The new penthouse isn’t the only exciting thing the performer has going for himself as of late either. He’s also in the running for three Grammy Awards at the 2024 ceremony. Kendrick Lamar Live: The Big Steppers Tour is nominated for Best Music Film, he and Baby Keem’s “The Hillbillies” is nominated for Best Rap Performance, and his visual for “Count Me Out” is nominated for Best Music Video.
