Sexyy Red Gets A Brand New Corvette For Her Birthday

This week, one of the breakout stars of the past year in hip-hop is celebrating her birthday. Sexyy Red turned 26 years old overnight and the celebration got underway immediately. She tweeted out in advance that it was about to be her birthday so fans could celebrate with her as soon as midnight struck. Nicki Minaj got in early when she shared a heartfelt birthday message for her “Pound Town 2” collaborator where she shouted out Red’s work ethic. Just like every interaction the pair have online the comment section was filled with requests from fans for news on their upcoming “FTCU” remix.

Red also celebrated her birthday in person with a pretty special gift. It’s unclear whether she got the gift for herself or it came from someone else, but she had a brand new Corvette for her big day. The white car came with a pink bow on it that matched her outfit in the pictures she posed for alongside it. Pictures and video of the rapper and her new car made their way around the internet today leading to fans reacting to her big gift. Earlier this year, Sexyy Red dropped a new single that could land among her biggest hits when all is said and done. “Get It Sexyy” got off to a strong start, debuting in the top 25 on the Hot 100. The song has since racked up more than 26 million streams on Spotify and unsurprisingly risen even further up the charts. Last week the song entered the top 20 of the Hot 100 for the first team peaking at the number 20 spot.

Last year, Sexyy Red had a legendary breakout year. She became one of the biggest stars of rap music in the span of just a year. One of the first boosts she got came when she dropped her mixtape, Hood Hottest Princess. One of the singles from the project was a special remix of her song “Pound Town.” “Pound Town 2” with Nicki Minaj became her breakthrough single and is still among her biggest songs to date. And as her profile has risen dramatically the two have continued to be friends.

Earlier this month, Nicki announced that the pair were working on another remix. This time, Red was hopping on one of Nicki’s tracks. Last year Minaj dropped her first new album in 5 years and one of the breakout hits is the hard-hitting “FTCU.” She’s teased a remix with Red a few times now, though hasn’t officially confirmed when it’ll be arriving. Anytime the pair interact online, fans call for news on the pending single in bulk. That was also the case recently when Nicki wished Red a happy birthday on Twitter. Offset Sends Birthday Shoutout To Quavo, Puts Feud Rumors To Rest

Offset posted a tribute for Quavo on his birthday, earlier this week. In doing so, he shared a photo of the two of them with their late Migos partner, Takeoff, from many years ago. He captioned the post: “Happy gday my brother @quavohuncho love you 4L [for life].” It comes despite longstanding rumors of anonymity between the two.

The rappers previously linked up to honor Takeoff at the 2023 Grammy Awards, although that didn’t seem to resolve the differences entirely. Rumors later surfaced that they got into a fight backstage. Months later, they reunited again for a performance at the BET Awards.

Offset finally spoke at length about the situation during an appearance on The Breakfast Club in October. He labeled Quavo his brother and said that “it’s all love.” “I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other,” he explained at the time. “We went through something, we don’t have to show you smiles on faces … so stop doing that. We aint on no sucker sh*t with each other, we both came in this sh*t together and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother. I still go through sh*t; I know bro go through sh*t, N****s love each other though at the end of the day. We men, we real brothers, and we cool with it, so be cool with it. Don’t ever try and turn us against each other. I hate that sh*t. At the end of the day, it ain’t your business.”

Elsewhere, his oldest sons, Quincy Brown and Christian Combs (also known as King) aren’t keeping quiet as the latter celebrates his 26th birthday.

On Monday (April 1), the New York native’s big day came around, and his older brother’s Instagram lit up with a heartfelt tribute post that shows how fond they are of each other. “Happy Birthday Christian Casey Combs! ♚ My Young King! I love you with all my heart. ,” Brown wrote in his caption. “They can try and stop us but we are not STOPPIN’ THE COUPE… AND THAT’S THE TRUTH! .”

Rather than condemning them for Diddy’s drama, the comments are being flooded with messages of praise for the young men. “Not gone lie, outta all the chaos going on seeing the kids in good spirit makes me smile. They literally look identical to their fathers I love this ,” one IG user expressed. “It’s hella wild, growing up in the 90s to straight up see Al B. Sure and Puff Daddy doing a song together, fast forward 25 years later. Man! Kim literally birthed both of ’em! ,” another added.

Though we can see his full head of hair, Halo’s face remains a mystery as his parents protect his privacy. Luka Doncic Celebrates Birthday With Triple-Double

Luka Doncic turned 25 in style, becoming the first NBA player in history to drop a 30-point triple-double on their birthday. Doncic added 16 assists and 11 rebounds in his monumental effort (and 11th triple-double of the season) as the Mavs beat the Raptors on the road. However, the milestone was largely dismissed by Doncic and his colleagues. “Just a normal game, triple-double. He was really good. I guess 25 means he’s still going to be really good as he gets older here,” Dallas coach Jason Kidd said. “I feel 40, so no,” Doncic said when asked if he felt like 25 was a milestone.

The effort comes after a heartbreaking loss for the Mavs. Max Strus stunned the NBA on Tuesday night as he hit a half-court buzzer-beater to lead the Cavaliers past the Mavericks. With 2.1 seconds remaining, Strus heaved a shot from 59 feet. However, he barely saw his shot go in as he was tackled by his teammates. Strus’ shot is the second-longest shot of the three-point era, sitting behind Devonte’ Graham’s 2021 61-footer. However, Strus himself has admitted that this isn’t even the longest shot of his career. “Yeah, at my Division II school, I made a three-quarter-court shot to win the game,” Strus said.

Luka Doncic Gets Fan Ejected, Feuds With ESPN Reporter For Coverage Of It

Earlier this season, Luka Doncic getting a fan ejected from a Mavs loss to the Suns became a much bigger story at the post-game presser. Doncic found himself in a back-and-forth with ESPN‘s Tim McMahon, who had covered the ejection as soon as it happened. “You’ll be the first one to always put something bad about me,” Doncic shot at the veteran journalist. Furthermore, Doncic called McMahon’s report “not true at all”. McMahon, who began his career as a Mavs beat reporter, attempted to defend his past coverage of Doncic.

Per McMahon, Doncic had asked security to removed a Suns fan after the fan yelled “Luka, you’re tired. Get your a– on the treadmill!” However, Doncic alleged that the comment was far from the worst thing the fan had said. He refused to repeat the fan’s other comments. However, Doncic noted that the fan had been insistently heckling him the entire game. Instead, the treadmill was the one that pushed him over the edge.

J. Cole reunited with Wale while celebrating his longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad’s 40th birthday. In a post on Hamad’s Instagram page with photos from the night, Cole and Wale posed together for a picture.

“Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and to anyone that came out to celebrate with me this weekend,” Hamad captioned the post. “I feel blessed to have an amazing family and so many friends that have been by my side for a very long time. The love was felt and I’m thankful for everyone that made my 40th a special memory I’ll never forget.” In a separate video from the event, Cole gives a toast to Hamad. “I will say, my n***a, we love you and appreciate you. Happy 40th. Big one,” he says, keeping things brief.

Cole and Wale have worked together many times over the years, as far back as 2009 when they collaborated on “Rather Be With You (Vagina Is for Lovers)” and “Beautiful Bliss.” They most recently worked on the track “Poke It Out” from Wale’s album Folarin 2 in 2021.
