On May 6, the Philadelphia rapper turned 36 years old. Meek is seen making a toast on his private jet amongst a group of friends. Apparently, Chris Brown’s 34th birthday bash ended with violence, at least according to various online sources. Moreover, the R&B singer and his crew allegedly jumped Usher at the event, which is shocking considering their close relationship. While this story is unconfirmed and still mostly the result of gossip and speculation, there’s been no shortage of reports on it from all angles. Even though some people won’t believe it until they see video evidence, most others are wondering what went down. From what these stories indicate, it wasn’t a matter of personal beef but rather the result of defending a victim of Brown’s actions.

To elaborate, Usher threw Chris Brown a skate party for his big day, which also included guests like Mario, Bow Wow, and many more. However, at a certain point of the night, reportedly things got pretty heated as Brown was quite drunk. Not only that, but he was apparently being disrespectful to Teyana Taylor, approaching her in an intoxicated manner. Then, reports allege, multiple people got involved in the argument, and it’s unclear what disrespect he directed at her.

Allegedly, one of the people who tried to calm Chris Brown down was none other than Usher himself, who tried to steer him away. It was at that moment where sources say Brown and his entourage attacked Usher. Not only that, but it was apparently so bad that the singer got a bloody nose.

Willie Nelson is a country music icon. Born in 1933, Nelson’s music career began with a failed record in 1956 while he was working as a radio announcer. However, just two years later, he would get a job as a club singer in Houston. By 1961, Nelson was making a name for himself with music that went against the traditional sound of his new home, Nashville. Nashville would become the place that Nelson was best associated with as his stardom grew.

Nelson has since gone on to record 99 albums, 73 of them solo. His most recent album, I Don’t Know A Thing About Love, was released in March 2023. He has also appeared in over 30 films, as well as writing and co-authoring numerous books. His last film role was in the 2018 musical film, Paradox. Willie Nelson also loves weed and thus, is one of the most vocal advocates for marijuana legalization. At the time of writing, 31 US states have either decriminalized or legalized weed. Sadly, this does not include Nelson’s home state of Texas.

To celebrate Willie Nelson turning 90 years old on April 29, the music world showed out for a special concert at The Hollywood Bowl. The concert was called Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, A Star-Studded Concert Celebrating Willie’s 90th Birthday and featured a host of big-name musical stars. Speaking to PEOPLE about the event, Nelson said “I have been so fortunate this far that I just hope for things to continue the way they are. I think it would be too much to ask for anything more than what I already have experienced.”

While everyone from Beck to Dave Matthews performed, perhaps the most special guest was Snoop Dogg himself. Snoop and Nelson share a special bond thanks to their mutual love of marijuana. “I love Snoop. He and I are great friends — have been forever. It was a lot of fun just hanging out and getting to do some things — Snoop and I,” Nelson told PEOPLE. The pair performed Nelson’s 2012 hit Roll Me Up And Smoke Me When I Die together at the concert.

Machine Gun Kelly recently celebrated his 33rd birthday with a lot of famous friends, but the one who turned heads the most did so because of her absence. Moreover, his fiancé Megan Fox did not appear in pictures from the b-day bash, further fueling rumors of a breakup. Even though the lack of Fox suggests some road bumps, the last we heard from the power couple was actually a pretty positive note. After a trip to Hawaii, a source allegedly close to them said that they are on a path to healing and fully embracing each other again. Hopefully for MGK, there’s another reason for the actress to have missed the party.

“They’re officially back on after going through a rocky patch in their relationship,” the source told the outlet. “The last few months have been tough for them both. They went away together to do some healing and it’s been working. They feel more connected than ever. Megan is extremely spiritual and believes that Colson is her soulmate. 50 Cent wished Demetrius Flenory Jr., also known as Lil Meech, a happy birthday on Instagram, Saturday, as the BMF star turned 23 years old. 50 Cent cast Lil Meech in the series to portray his father, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Sr.

“Happy Birthday to my young boy @lilmeechbmf wishing you many more. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” 50 Cent wrote alongside a picture of the two of them. Lil Meech responded in the comments section, “Love u 4life.” Several of 50’s followers joined in with their own congratulatory messages for Lil Meech as well.

The first season of BMF premiered back in 2021. At the time Flenory Jr. joined the cast, he was still in school at UNLV. He discussed his reaction to the offer during an interview with the New York Post at the time. “At first it sounded crazy — I had never acted before,” he explained. “I was actually in school for business at UNLV, in Las Vegas. [Now] I want to act for the rest of my life, I feel like I found my calling. So, 50 basically brought acting to me. He’s the reason that I’m acting. He helped me get the role, but I had to earn it and show the network [that I was the right choice].”

BMF ended up being a hit for Starz and a second season aired earlier this year. That same month, the network renewed the show for a third season. “’BMF’ captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before,” said Kathryn Busby, president of original programming for Starz. “Following such a strong debut with season two, we’re thrilled to continue to expand on the incredible story of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by writing their own rules. Summer Walker Shares Birthday Post: “She’s 27 & RICH!”

Summer Walker has a lot to be thankful for these days. The R&B star gave birth to healthy twins months ago and is already gearing up for her next project. This week, she celebrated her birthday with a hilarious post reflecting on all she’s accomplished in such a short time. 

On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to wish herself a happy 27th birthday. “She’s 27 & RICH,” Walker started out the post that featured several images of herself. In each, Walker sports a pink silk night outfit with balloons decorating her home. She even invited rising rapper Sexxy Redd and Sukihana to join in on her pajama party. The ladies appeared to be enjoying themselves, prompting Walker to add a few words of reflection. “I can’t believe all I’ve accomplished being so young. 3 beautiful healthy kids, rich in love, rich in wealth, rich in knowledge, rich in spirit, & most importantly rich in happiness,” she added. 

Summer Walker Is Now A Grammy Nominee

The Grammy award winner is preparing for her “Clear 2: Soft Life” mixtape. The EP is the follow-up to her 2019 four-track EP “Clear” Some details remain unknown but she did confirm it will be released on May 19th. Walker has not dropped a full body of work since 2021’s “Still Over It.” That album received rave reviews, spawning hits “Ex For a Reason,” “Toxic,” and “No Love.” She took a break to expand her family with her boyfriend rapper LVRD Pharoh. It appears they’ve broken up, but Walker still is in a great place. “Still Over It” documented part of her breakup with producer London on the Track. They share a two-year-old daughter. 

It’s unclear how else Walker plans to turn up for her birthday. Given her documented battle with social anxiety, a slumber party with close friends seems right up her alley. Earlier this week, she tweeted a series of photos. She also revealed that one of her earlier singles, “Karma” is now platinum. “One of the best birthday gifts is karma,” she wrote. Lil Nas X Stuns In Raunchy Playboy-Inspired Birthday Photoshoot

Happy belated birthday to Lil Nas X, who turned 24 on Easter Sunday, of all days, on April 9. As a means to celebrate the occasion, it looks like he set up a Playboy-inspired photoshoot that’s as crisp as it is raunchy- and unreleased. Moreover, he didn’t actually give all the pictures of this shoot away. The cover, though, features the MONTERO star in heels, bunny ears, and no clothes, with just the silk sheets of the bed he’s laying on (which is strewn with old Playboy magazines) to cover him up. Furthermore, the header reads “Battyboy,” which is a slur aimed at gay men in Jamaican patois that he seems to have reclaimed as his own.

“Hbd thee batty boy,” the now 24-year-old wrote as his caption. Other pictures in his slideshow include him looking excitedly at one of his fake covers, hinting at even raunchier stuff featured in the photoshoot. Not only that, but it’s a specific reference to the publication’s Cover Girls cover back in January of 1986. Whenever Lil Nas X fights back against bigoted individuals with his statements, he always does his homework.

However, that’s not to say that his actions can’t result in some significant backlash. For example, he recently drew the ire of many on social media after he tweeted out that he wants to meet more gay men in Africa. The reason why people expressed outrage is because he expressed that shortly after Uganda passed sweeping anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation that threatens the community. As such, people thought that it was a little too close for comfort, and they were unable to identify if Lil Nas X knew what he was doing when he tweeted that. Still, many concluded that it was just unfortunate coincidence, and he hasn’t responded to that concern as of writing this article.

Meanwhile, the “INDUSTRY BABY” hitmaker recently shared some reflections on his love life while on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. “I used to use Raya,” he expressed of the celebrity dating app. “I think I stopped using Raya… It just like, fell off for me and I just started to meet people in person. And Raya is just very famous, everyone’s famous on there. I’ve met quite a few famous guys. Pharrell recently celebrated his 50th birthday (April 5) in Japan, taking the time to enjoy his five decades of excellence overseas. Moreover, videos and pictures recently surfaced on social media of the Neptunes producer having fun around the country. For example, he blew out all the candles on his massive birthday cake with his hands in a video shared by No Jumper and a few other publications. In other clips, you can see Williams and his entourage going around the city on a boat, living lavishly as they take in the sights.
