Kai Cenat Trolls Rubi Rose With Temu Birkin Bag

Kai Cenat has continued his charade of pretending that he has bought Rubi Rose a genuine Birkin bag. The streamer called up the rapper and influencer to show her the bag while he was live. Rose appeared skeptical, saying she knew it was from Temu. However, Cenat insisted it was real and appeared to get Rose to believe him. Despite this, Cenat laughed giddily and slapped his desk multiple times after ending the call, confirming the bag was indeed a fake.

The ruse was put in motion a few weeks ago when Cenat hit up Rose, Corinna Kopf, and Pokimane with the offer to buy them all Birkin bags. However, while talking to the three women, he was simultaneously showing his stream chat his screen, which was on the dropshipping website Temu. It’s unclear if the three women are in on the joke or are victims of Cenat’s prank.

Offset Explains Dropping Out Of Kai Cenat Prison Stream

Elsewhere, Offset recently explained why he abruptly pulled out of appearing in Cenat’s recent week-long prison livestream. “I didn’t do the jail thing because I really had to think about it. I really come from that. It’s really bros and homies struggling with that. It’s not really a game, it’s a serious thing. I understand content. I salute it, but I just couldn’t be a part of that content because if ya’ll remember, I come from jail. I know how it feels. It ain’t the right feeling. I got real homies that can’t get out ever. So I didn’t want to make a mockery of them. My world and [Cenat’s] world are different,” he told The Morning Hustle.

However, Cenat has not been a fan of the criticism about his livestream. “Y’all n-ggas just going off the clips you saw. But were you there when we brought in the baddest kids in the community and sat down and spoke to them? What about the thousand times I said ‘hey this is bad, I don’t wanna be here’? Or me waking up at 6am shivering, back hurt, eating wack-ass food, saying this is why you don’t want to be here,” Cenat argued on a November stream.

Kai Cenat Buys Rubi Rose, Corinna Kopf, And Pokimane “Birkin Bags” From Temu

Kai Cenat took to his stream to buy counterfeit Birkins for three massive influencers. Cenat called up Rubi Rose, Corinna Kopf, and Pokimane while streaming, asking each of them what color Birkin Bag they wanted him to buy for them. All the while, Cenat shows his chat that he is buying the bags from Temu. Temu is a Chinese-owned shopping site similar to AliExpress and is notorious for scams and counterfeit goods. It experienced a wave in popularity earlier this year.

It’s notable that Rose was one of the women that Cenat that “treated”. She has been an object of affection for a number of streamers in recent weeks. She recently linked up with N3on, with their semi-flirtatious exchanges sparking rumors that the pair were romantically involved. However, she would later refer to him as a “Make-A-Wish Kid” on multiple occasions during their link-up.

Kai Cenat Defends His Prison Stream

Elsewhere, Cenat recently defended his viral seven-day prison livestream. Many have argued that the stream glorified prison life. “Y’all n-ggas just going off the clips you saw. But were you there when we brought in the baddest kids in the community and sat down and spoke to them? What about the thousand times I said ‘hey this is bad, I don’t wanna be here’? Or me waking up at 6am shivering, back hurt, eating wack-ass food, saying this is why you don’t want to be here,” Cenat argued on a stream in mid-November.

The issue for many people is that any good that Cenat did with the stream was undercut by the goofiness that went down over the stream’s runtime. Cenat had a myriad of famous guests. However, many of them seemingly didn’t get Cenat’s memo that it was meant to be a teaching moment. Chrisean Rock was rizzing chat, NLE Choppa was making rape jokes every chance he got, and a guy ran into a wall after a fake brawl. While his intentions may have been noble, Cenat’s execution clearly prioritized entertainment over any sort of moral lesson.

When an act is as big as Beyoncé, anything they do will be polarizing. Thus, it is no surprise that her latest album Renaissance
is being praised for its musicality, but panned for specific samples or lyrics. After an initial onslaught from Kelis and the subsequent demands of fans denouncing ableism, the Lemonade artist has now drawn the ire of Birkin bag owners.

On the album closer, “Summer Renaissance,” the Houston artist proclaims “This Telfar bag imported, Birkins, them shit’s in storage” after listing off other brands such as Versace, Bottega, and Dior. Though Birkins have been popular within the culture for quite some time, Telfar has gained its own following over the last two years. With such a big figure in music placing one above the other, naturally, each side had strong feelings. Brand loyalty isn’t new, and throwing Beyoncé in the mix puts the contention into overdrive.

Funny enough, Beyoncé’s line and the subsequent hysteria did cause an impact beyond the timeline, as there was a spike in how much Telfar was searched according to reports from Vogue Business. Everyone may not be happy, but the independent Black-owned business definitely is.

Cardi B oftentimes raps about enjoying the finer things in life and judging by her massive collection of designer handbags, she’s not lying. It’s no secret that Cardi is a sucker for Hermès Birkin bags, which can range anywhere between $5,000 and $220,000. In fact, Cardi loves them so much that she owns over 20.

Cardi gives her Birkin bags a shout out in her “Up” song and she can oftentimes be seen clutching one from her collection when out and about. Even Cardi’s three-year-old daughter Kulture owns her own Birkin bag. The rapper has shared a few of her favorite handbags in the past, but this week, Cardi showed off a large portion of her Birkin collection on social media.

Continuing to flaunt her baby bump in an Instagram photo set, Cardi posed alongside a tan leather Birkin bag while sporting a burgundy body-con Mugler dress. The next photo sees Cardi picking out the perfect Birkin bag to go along with her outfit, and she has a lot of colors to choose from. The picture depicts 26 Birkin bags lined up in her living room, spanning from a crisp white to a green camo design.
