DDG’s BBL Contest Leads To Severe Backlash From Halle Bailey Fans

DDG and Halle Bailey caused quite the uproar on social media at the beginning of this month for their split. However, the raucous has more so been caused by the rapper and content creator rather than the singer. Overall, he’s been the one doing almost all of the talking and posting online, with Halle only sharing some flicks at the gym with their child, Halo. What we have to learn is that he’s only willing to get back into a relationship if it’s with her.

Additionally, and quite conversely, he was also saying that he would tell his younger self to be single during his 20s. He essentially said dating is taxing and labeled it as “a part-time job.” It seems that the belief surrounding their breakup is that DDG was problematic, and that Bailey was right to be quiet amid all of the noise and leave him. That feeling is only growing after The Shade Room has shared that he’s launching a contest for his female fans.

He’s getting ready to drop a new single called “What U Bad For,” and it assumedly going to be a self-confidence anthem. We say that because in conjunction with the song, DDG is giving two lucky fans the chance to get a free non-surgical BBL. To win, they need to send him and Dr. Dorfman, the surgeon who will be performing the procedure, a video of them explaining why they deserve to win. It will be a two-week contest and when they get selected, they will be flown out to LA after getting a consultation that says they are able to receive the BBL surgery. Overall, Halle Bailey fans are being proven right in their eyes, while others feel she should have donated proceeds to charities instead.

What are your thoughts on DDG getting two fans non-surgical BBLs? Do you think he should have done something else in conjunction with his new song? Is this surgery become too big of an issue? Do you think this further proof that the rapper was the problem in his relationship with Halle Bailey? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Saucy Santana Roasts A Woman During Video Shoot: “She Ain’t Have No BBL”

Saucy Santana recently has been tangled up with social media critic DJ Akademiks. The rapper was fed up with him messing with his close friend, Yung Miami, one-half of the City Girls. DJ has been ruthless with his comments about the femcee’s career. It has mostly consisted of saying there are no results from her music, especially numbers-wise. Saucy stepped in and fired shot after shot toward DJ and a lot of people were siding with the rapper.

After the media pundit clowned Saucy’s diss track, he fired right back. A lot of fans were happy to see Saucy give it right back to the social media star. “This has to be the funniest beef in hip-hop history. Because he really got checked and humbled by Saucy 😂 DL boys down 500.” While he might have gained some followers after that, he might be losing some almost immediately.

In a recent video shoot, Saucy appears to be judging some random women’s appearances. One critique is starting to cause a stir on the internet, with him judging a lady harshly. He said, “She ain’t have no BBL, no mink lashes, no lace wig… she just said f*** it.” One of the biggest problems with social media today is the amount of people who are flaunting their body image heavily altered. These comments by Saucy have a lot of people going after him for essentially promoting fake body image compared to natural beauty. One goes, “See….this the problem now.” Another says, “3 BBLs and still being built like a hot air balloon is crazy. He got some nerve.”

What are your initial thoughts on Saucy Santana’s comments toward the woman in the video? Is this the main reason why people are struggling with self-confidence in today’s society? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. [WATCH] Tony Yayo: I Started The ‘BBL’ Movement

Tony Yayo Says Tory Lanez Is a Target in Jail: ‘He’s the Talk of the Jail'

While out on 50 Cent’s Final Lap Tour, G-Unit soldiers Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda appeared on the Danza Project podcast, where the two crime rhyme vets discussed who was the first to bring the thick women to the forefront of Hip Hop videos.

Murda gave flowers to the late DJ Kay Slay, saying, he “was the godfather. He damn near brought that to the game with them magazines.” Yayo interjected, saying, “I’m like, ‘I might want some chocolate with the fatty in my shit!’ So it came to a point where I’m like, ‘Listen, man. I gotta have this in my video.’ That’s why in ‘So Seductive’ I had Buffie the Body. She was the first BBL you seen in your life.”

Yayo added, “So when you think about it, I started the BBL movement! Give me my props! I started the BBL movement. I did! Not me personally, but I started the movement … That was ’04, ’05, ’06.” He concluded by saying, “Slay was rocking hard, but I put that s**t on the forefront with the video ‘So Seductive.’ That was the fattest ass you seen, shout out to Buffie.”

[WATCH] Are Silicon Shots And BBL’s A Trend Of The Past?

Screen Shot 2023 04 08 at 12.34.54 PM

The boom of the Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL, has been a hot topic in recent years as obtaining a round-hippy bottom has become more popular. Back in 2012, I wrote a featured story for The Source Magazine–Issue #252 titled ‘The Bottom Line’ where I investigated the rise of the silicon injection phase. Now 11-years later we have witnessed the long-term results from women who have had to remove their injections.

But, in recent months, there appears to have been a shift where several of these butt-enhancement trends are being denounced and some labeled dangerous. A popular topic on social media has been ‘who’ has reversed their procedures. Some of the Kardashians have been hush about specific surgeries while celebrities, such as R&B singer K Michelle and recently Blac Chyna, have also exposed the dangers of these procedures.

Many influencers who once flaunted gargantuan booties are now sharing their journeys about botched surgeries and more. Winter from the Bad Girls Club showed her ‘Dorito’ shaped bottom and showed the horrific recovery process to remove. Blac Chyna recently dissolved the fillers in her face saying she was ‘tired of the look’. Now known as Angela White, the influencer revealed that her bottom would get hot and she would get sick from the silicon. Rapper Dream Doll who boasted about her ‘plastic’ body also shared her removal journey and opened up about going back and forth to the surgeon. She said, ‘it hurt and the pain made her want it out and she’s gone back 4 times to remove it’. Bad Girls Club Meghan James also explained how peer pressure encouraged her changes during her time on BasketBall Wives.

Do you think the trend will soon come to an end?
