Joel Embiid Thinks Sixers Fans Want Him Gone

Joel Embiid is one of the best players in the entire NBA. Over the course of the last two seasons, Embiid could have easily won MVP. However, that was simply not in the cards. It has been an unfortunate turn of events for Embiid, however, he has persisted on.

Embiid is the face of the franchise, and with James Harden by his side, the team has a chance to do big things. Although, they haven’t been able to get past the second round since he’s shown up. It’s been a difficult position to be in, and fans are starting to get impatient.

Joel Embiid Gets Honest

Philly fans are incredibly hard to deal with. They can get angry fast, and when you look at what they did to Ben Simmons, you can see why Embiid might be worried about how they view him. In fact, Embiid seems to think that the fans in Philadelphia want him gone.

While speaking to Jake Fischer for Yahoo! Sports, Embiid straight up claimed that he thinks Sixers fans want him traded. Overall, he has no evidence to back that up, although it didn’t stop him from saying it.

“I don’t know. Sixers fans, they want to trade me,” Embiid said. “I do believe that. They want to trade me.”

It would be pretty shocking if the Sixers did trade Embiid. For now, however, that outcome is highly unlikely. Embiid is simply too valuable to the franchise right now, and getting rid of him would be extremely shortsighted.

Clipper Darrell Knocked Out By Security Guard

If you are a Los Angeles Clippers fan, then you most certainly know who Clipper Darrell is. He is the team’s most famous fan, and he has been a fixture in the seats at Crypto.com arena. His real name is Darrell Bailey, although his nickname is what most people know him by.

Overall, it has not been an easy team for Darrell to support. After all, the Clippers have only made it to the Western Conference Finals once. Furthermore, they have never won an NBA title. Regardless, he still attends every game, like the legend he is.

Clipper Darrell Vs. Security

Unfortunately, Clipper Darrell got into an altercation with security staff at the Crypto.com arena on Monday night. Following a win against the Celtics, Bailey was looking to leave the arena, when he was stopped by a guard directing fans to the exits.

In footage obtained by TMZ, you can see Bailey talking to the guard, who puts his hand on Darrell. After trying to wave his hand off of him, the guard punches Bailey in the face. Subsequently, the Clipper fan was knocked unconscious and sent to the hospital. Lee Zeidman, the President of the arena, gave an update on the situation to TMZ.

“Clipper Darrell became involved in a verbal and then physical altercation,” Zeidman said. “After receiving immediate medical attention, Darryl was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment. An investigation of the incident was launched which determined the employee’s behavior to be a direct violation of our training and approved responses resulting in the immediate termination and arrest of the employee by the LAPD.”

For now, there is no update on Clipper Darrell and his condition. Hopefully, he is doing well. It always sucks to see someone go through something like this, especially since it has been made clear that the guard was in the wrong.

Draymond Green Accuses Fan Of Hurling Death Threats

Draymond Green is one of the more polarizing players in the entire NBA. Fans of the Golden State Warriors love him, however, fans around the league have a much less favorable view of him. Unfortunately, this leads to some fan reactions that are simply unacceptable.

If you’ve been watching the NBA since the bubble, you would know that fans have gotten bolder. Some of them are simply out of pocket, and subsequently, we’ve seen an uptick in lifetime bans. Overall, it is a hostile environment for players like Green.

Draymond Green Gets Fan Ejected

Last night, Draymond was in Milwaukee where he took on the Bucks alongside his Warriors teammates. As you will see in the clips below, he was met with some jeers from a fan who was courtside at the baseline. Overall, Green was not happy with what was being said.

This ultimately led to him going up to the referee and pointing to the man. Eventually, the ref called security over and the man was promptly ejected.

Following the game, Green told reporters that the man had made death threats. When made aware of this, the ref felt as though action needed to be taken immediately.

“There are no real consequences,” Green said. “Yeah, you can’t come back to the game, or even if you get arrested, nothing really happens … you just hope it gets to a point where these leagues can work with legislators to implement laws because that’s the only thing that’s really going to correct the issue.”

Needless to say, Green is not too optimistic about what is going to happen, moving forward. This is just a bad situation for everyone, and it will be interesting to see what kind of punishment that fan receives.

Shaq & Charles Barkley Recreate Skip Bayless-Shannon Sharpe Fight

Shaq and Charles Barkley are always comedy when it comes to Inside The NBA. While they have had their fair share of fights, they always seem to make up in the end. Overall, they understand that their roasts aren’t anything serious and that the television product is all that matters.

As it turns out, Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe could use a lesson in this. We say this as Skip and Shannon got into an on-air dispute this week. This was all because Skip went too far and essentially called Sharpe a bum compared to Tom Brady. Consequently, Sharpe got upset, and understandably so.

Shaq & Chuck Poke Fun

During last night’s Inside The NBA broadcast, Shaq and Barkley got into a dispute of their own. However, this particular dispute was a complete gag that had Ernie and Kenny Smith a bit confused. Of course, if you’ve been paying attention, it was a complete parody of Skip and Shannon’s spat from a couple of days earlier.

In the clip below, Barkley begins to yell at Shaq and even takes off his glasses, just like Shannon did. The former Laker takes on the role of Skip Bayless as he tells Chuck to put his glasses back on and even insults him. Subsequently, this prompts Barkley to clap back in a similar fashion to Sharpe.

Overall, it was a pretty hilarious segment that even made its way back to Bayless. Skip took to Twitter last night and wrote “Charles Barkley: Thank you for so faithfully watching Undisputed.” If you’ve been keeping tabs on the lore, Bayless and Barkley have had a longstanding feud, with Barkley saying that he would love to kill the Undisputed host.

Despite all of this, Bayless still hasn’t apologized publically to his co-host. It is a pretty pathetic display, even for Skip. Hopefully, he finds the error of his ways soon and gives Shannon the respect that he deserves.

Shaq Speaks On Potentially Getting In On NBA & NFL Ownership

Shaq is certainly one of the richest men in the sports world. Overall, he is an incredible businessman who has plenty of investments out there. He has completely dominated the advertisement space, and if there is something he can attach his name to, you know he’s going to do it.

Over the years, Shaq has become one of the most recognizable spokesmen, and it only makes sense that this would translate to ownership. Consequently, there have been various talks about Shaq owning a sports franchise. Whether that be the Phoenix Suns or another squad, the former big man has shown interest in diversifying his portfolio.

Shaq Talks With TMZ

Recently, Shaq spoke on TMZ about both NBA and NFL ownership. The Suns and Washington Commanders are two teams that are up for sale. Subsequently, they are both being pursued by Jeff Bezos. However, Bezos needs partners, and the four-time NBA champ could certainly fit the bill.

“I haven’t had any discussions with my partners, so I can’t make the statement yet, but we’re still looking to be heavily involved in purchasing an NBA team,” Shaq said. As for Football, this is what he had to say:

“Yeah, but this time around when I purchase a team, I want to be heavily involved. I would like it to be in a place where I’m living at. If it ain’t the Dolphins, the Cowboys, or the Raiders, and those teams are way too expensive for me, but my main man JB can write that check!”

Ownership of any kind takes a lot of time, money, and effort. It would be hard for Shaq to manage, however, he certainly seems keen on making it happen. Hopefully, we get to see it soon.

Jalen Rose Rips Skip Bayless For Shannon Sharpe Diss

Jalen Rose has never been a big fan of Skip Bayless. Of course, the two got into a very infamous exchange on ESPN back in the day. Rose brought up the fact that Skip only averaged 1.4 points per game in high school. Additionally, Rose referred to Bayless as ‘Water Pistol Pete.”

Overall, this was a hilarious exchange that ultimately ended with some on-air discourse. It is something that Rose has never forgotten, and Skip has certainly never earned his respect. Since that time, Skip has moved on to FS1, while Rose continues to work for ESPN.

Jalen Rose Comments On Skip-Shannon Beef

Recently, Skip Bayless went way too far while debating Shannon Sharpe. They were in the midst of a conversation about Tom Brady, when Skip referred to the NFL star as jealous. Sharpe did not like this and mentioned that he is in the Hall of Fame. This led to a cheap shot from Bayless who told Sharpe that Brady is better than him.

This did not go over well with Sharpe, who became livid with Bayless. He took off his glasses and began to yell at his co-host, who continued to antagonize him. Overall, it was a bad look for Bayless, and now, he is getting criticism from the likes of Rose.

As you can see below, Rose took to Twitter and wrote “Wow what a bully tactic and clowns call him drip. Definition of a #culturevulture.” It was a pretty biting critique of Bayless, although it is one you would certainly expect given their past.

This situation has been a horrible look for Bayless, however, it doesn’t seem like he cares. He has yet to make any sort of apology, and on today’s show, the viral clip wasn’t even acknowledged.

Hopefully, Bayless sees the error of his ways soon.

LeBron James Delivers Raw Thoughts On Scoring Record

LeBron James has had a legendary career in the NBA, and he is well on his way to breaking some truly impeccable records. One of these records has not been broken in 40 years. Of course, we are talking about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record.

Although LeBron has the most points across the regular season and the playoffs, it is the regular season record that everyone cares about. Overall, it seems likely that LeBron will break the record this season. However, there is no guarantee he breaks it as injuries are always a possibility.

LeBron James Reveals His True Feelings

For the most part, LeBron has been talking about what an honor this record would be. While this may be the case, it seems like LeBron isn’t as moved by the record as he has let on. This revelation came recently as some fans were chirping James courtside. At one point, James was asked if he would cry when he breaks the record. Consequently, it led to an interesting exchange.

“I’ll cry if we win a championship. Not for a scoring record. I didn’t even try to break it,” LeBron James said. This is a pretty unique statement to make in front of a camera. Surely, LeBron knew the phone was recording, although he did not seem to care. Instead, he gave his pure unfiltered thoughts, and it was quite refreshing.

We’re sure these comments will lead to some sort of essay on Kareem’s substack. The former Lakers legend has been quite critical of LeBron in the past, and these latest revelations could end up rubbing him the wrong way.

Let us know what you think of LeBron’s remarks, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the NBA.

Bronny & Bryce James Shine In Win Against Kiyan Anthony

Yesterday was a huge day for high school basketball as Bronny & Bryce James took on Kiyan Anthony. This is important as LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were once high school rivals. Now, everything is coming full circle for these two, and it is a massive moment for the future of the sport.

Sierra Canyon took on Christ The King in California, and it brought out all of the stars. Scottie Pippen was in attendance, as well as Kim Kardashian. From there, LeBron and Melo were there to cheer on their boys, who were front and center throughout the entire game.

Bronny Dominates

Bronny was all over the court whether it be offensively, or defensively. Sierra Canyon ended up winning 62-51, and a lot of it was because of what James did on defense. He managed to score 12 points, and he kept Kiyan Anthony to just 10.

In the video clips below, you can see some highlights from the game. Overall, both Bronny and Kiyan are exceptionally talented. The game was being broadcast on ESPN, which allowed a broader audience to truly get a feel for this next generation of basketball talent. For those who watched LeBron and Melo duke it out in high school, this was definitely a night to remember.

Bronny has a very bright future as numerous colleges have made him offers. For now, however, he has yet to make a decision on where he wants to go. As for Bryce and Kiyan, they have offers of their own, although at 15 years old, it is too early to make that choice.

LeBron James Reacts To Carmelo’s Son Playing Against His Own

LeBron James has been in the NBA for 20 seasons now. Even now, he still has a lot to give the game. For instance, Dennis Schroeder recently made the claim that LeBron wants to play until the age of 45. This would be an incredible feat, however, who knows if Schroeder’s comments are accurate?

Having said that, LeBron is looking to play with his sons Bronny and Bryce. They are exceptional high school basketball players at Sierra Canyon, and they are continuing Bron’s legacy. As it turns out, they will be playing against Kiyan Anthony tonight. Of course, Kiyan is the son of Carmelo Anthony, who plays for Christ The King High School in New York.

LeBron James Reflects

When LeBron was in high school, he had some great battles against Melo. Melo was playing for Oak Hill while James was on St. Vincent-St. Mary’s. Subsequently, both players ended up in the NBA and were top three draft picks. Now, their sons will get to play against each other in what should be an amazing game.

LeBron is super stoked about all of this. In fact, the Lakers superstar took to his Instagram page where he spoke about the upcoming game. Overall, he isn’t making any predictions, however, he did make sure to reflect on his matchups with Melo and what this means for him as a parent.

“The Legacies Continue To Live On tonight!” James wrote. “Wow this is surreal and quite frankly insane!! 21 years later from when I played vs my brother @carmeloanthony (St-V/Oak Hill) and now this evening our boys are playing against one another! Life is Good/Beautiful.”

This game is going to be broadcast on ESPN 2 which is great news for everyone interested in seeing these schools play one another. The game goes down at 11 PM EST, and there is going to be a ton of fanfare.
