Rihanna’s Pregnancy Reveal Elicits Hilarious Reactions: “A$AP Rocky Get A Job!”

Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance surely didn’t disappoint, though some felt a type of way about her inclusion of Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights.” But beyond that, she came through with an incredible set that celebrated her catalog. It marked her first performance in years and she did it without any notable musical guests as there have been in previous years. However, prior to the performance, she had fans believing that some of her fellow superstar peers would join her on stage. “I’m thinking about bringing someone, I’m not sure. We’ll see,” she said at the time.

The person she brought out was not any of her fellow artists. Rihanna revealed that she was pregnant with her second child during the Super Bowl performance. She flaunted her pregnant belly, which first, sparked speculation that she was expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky. Fans continued to wonder whether or not she was actually performing at the Super Bowl while pregnant but a rep later confirmed the news to Rolling Stone. It was undoubtedly shocking to many, especially those who’d hoped that the rumors of a tour were true.

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Expecting Their Second Child

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s family continues to expand as the Bajan singer confirmed the news of her pregnancy. The couple welcomed their first child together last May, who Rihanna stated inspired her decision to perform at the Super Bowl. “When you become a mom, there’s just something that happens that makes you feel like you could take on the world. You could do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” she said last week. “It’s important for me to do this this year, it’s important for representation. It’s important for my son.”

Twitter undoubtedly had plenty of reactions to the news of Rihanna’s pregnancy. Some were undoubtedly happy for her while others, like Boosie, were disappointed for various reasons. One reason, in particular, was the fact that Rihanna likely won’t be releasing a new album in the near future. Others simply expressed their jealousy of A$AP Rocky for having another baby with Rih. At this point, it’s unclear when Rihanna is expecting to give birth but we could imagine that it will undoubtedly impact any future music or touring plans.

What Did Twitter Have To Say?

ASAP Rocky Was Rihanna’s Biggest Fan During Her Super Bowl LVII Halftime Performance

The Kansas City Chiefs topped the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday night, February 12, but for millions of people, Rihanna’s halftime performance was the one and only reason to watch.

Rihanna tore through 12 of her hits, reminding everyone just how deep her bag is. ASAP Rocky was spotted on the field, and he looked like a giddy fan hearing “Diamond” live for the first time.

At the end of her set, Rihanna appeared to hint that she’s pregnant with her and Rocky’s second child. Her representatives later confirmed her pregnancy to The Hollywood Reporter once the second half of the game was underway.

Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their son last May. During her Apple Music press conference last week, Rihanna shared with Nadeska how becoming a mother influenced her decision to take on the coveted Super Bowl halftime stage.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you can do anything,” Rihanna said. “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.”

Rocky also shared insight into the moment with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe in January.

“I’m just as excited as you guys, if not more. I’m super excited. This is huge. This is incredible. I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again and whatnot, and getting back out there,’ Rocky told Lowe, adding, “It’s just incredible, especially for both of us — it is a good year for both of us to be more active and be out there. But the Super Bowl is huge, and her being the creative she is, she going to bring it, man.”

There had been rampant speculation that Rihanna’s first performance in seven years would trigger an album or tour announcement. Instead, Rih doubled down on motherhood and living her best life with Rocky.

Is Rihanna Pregnant With Her And ASAP Rocky’s Second Child?

The #FentyBowl — more commonly referred to as Super Bowl LVII’s halftime show — went off without a hitch. With Rihanna billed as the featured act, all eyes were on the “Lift Me Up” singer, as she hadn’t taken the stage in nearly seven years. While the Barbarian musician didn’t release any new music, her set was filled with plenty of her beloved past hits, including “Work” and “Pour It Up.” However, during the performance, fans took to social media to call attention to something else.

Fans wondered if the businesswoman mistakenly revealed her speculated second pregnancy. Dressed in a figure-hugging red bodysuit, breastplate cast, and red puffer jacket, after cameras turned to the side, fans noticed what appeared to be a baby bump. Back in May, the singer and her partner, rapper ASAP Rocky, welcomed their first child.

Although it may seem like a quick turnaround for the couple to have a second child on the way, Rocky has expressed just how much he has enjoyed fatherhood on numerous occasions. Without thinking, during her set, the singer went to rub her stomach but quickly moved her hand away as the camera panned.

That small motion was enough of a confirmation, fans needed to get run to social media.

A representative for Rihanna quickly confirmed that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child. Congrats!

Roseanne Barr Shoots Her Shot With A$AP Rocky

Someone tell RiRi to put on the gloves. Controversial actress and comedian Roseanne Barr just slid into A$AP Rocky’s DM with a devilish message. “Call me when you get tired of Rihanna,” she wrote to the New York rap star. She captioned an Instagram post about the attempt with “Shooting my shot.” Of course, all made in good fun, but it still seemed quite bizarre to many. After all, this is a (literally) canceled actress making a social media play the day of her muse’s wife’s Super Bowl halftime show. Quite funny, honestly; kind of corny and cringey, but funny nonetheless.

For those of you who don’t remember, the 70-year-old comedian faced backlash for a racist comment concerning a member of the Obama administration. Also, she spread various conspiracy theories, insensitive remarks, and aligned herself with far-right figures such as former president Trump. Since her many public statements, apologies, double-downs, and interviews during that time, she went a bit off the radar. However, she announced a comeback comedy special releasing via the Fox Nation streaming subscription service.

Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky recently spoke about how excited he is for Rihanna’s halftime performance. We doubt he’ll publicly respond to Barr anytime soon. “Oh, man. I’m just as excited as you guys, if not more,” he said to Zane Lowe. “Yeah, I’m super excited. This is huge. This is incredible. I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again and whatnot, and getting back out there. It’s just incredible. Especially for both of us, it is a good year for both of us to be more active and be out there. But the Super Bowl is huge, and her being the creative she is she going to bring it, man. I’m excited. I’m more excited than everybody else, honestly.”

Also, the 34-year-old shared how fatherhood changed his life. “It’s so unexplainable. It’s just one of those things. I’m a member of our club now, like the dad club. You see a dad, you see me. I’m playing on, I’m a full dad now. Being outside and working and being creative, it drives more energy for you, to obviously, to think and soak things up like a sponge now that I’m a dad, because I have a whole ‘nother perspective.” Come back to HNHH for the latest on A$AP Rocky and whether Roseanne gets a reply.

ASAP Rocky Said He Is ‘Putting The Finishing Touches’ On His New Album

ASAP Rocky is slowly rolling out details surrounding his forthcoming album, which he joked should be called Flacko Boomin but appears to actually be titled Don’t Be Dumb. Most recently, Rocky dropped “Same Problems.” And during a conversation with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, Rocky turned the hype up another notch.

“It’s coming. It’s finished and we just putting the finishing touches on it,” Rocky told Lowe (as noted Billboard). “The new stuff is me being vulnerable, and it’s just no filter, and just where I’m at, at my stage. My age and how I see things, my peers, the younger kids, the older cats, it’s just my perspective.”

Rocky also touched on Rihanna’s upcoming Super Bowl LVII halftime performance with Lowe.

“I’m just as excited as you guys, if not more,” he said, per Billboard. “Yeah, I’m super excited. This is huge. This is incredible. I’m so glad that my lady’s back making music again and whatnot, and getting back out there.”

Rocky added, “It’s just incredible, especially for both of us — it is a good year for both of us to be more active and be out there. But the Super Bowl is huge, and her being the creative she is, she going to bring it, man. I’m excited. I’m more excited than everybody else, honestly.”

Last week, Rihanna and Apple Music shared a trailer for the halftime show, featuring Rihanna’s 2016 hit “Needed Me,” and Rihanna and Rocky enjoyed a date night at the 2023 Golden Globes.

ASAP Rocky Is Worried The Rap Community Is Stuck On The ‘Same Problems’ In His New Song

On the heels of his debut album, Long. Live. ASAP.‘s 10th anniversary, ASAP Rocky has shared a new song. In his latest cut, “Same Problems,” Rocky laments the problems in the rap community, including violence and drugs. The song features minimalist production, allowing listeners to focus on Rocky’s soft vocals, as he sings in a forlorn, crestfallen manner.

“How many problems get solved? / Am I a product of things that I saw? / How many problems get solved? / Am I proud of the things in my songs? /How many problems get solved? / Am I a product of all of my flaws? How many problems get solved if we don’t get involved?” he sings in the song’s chorus.

“Same Problems” arrives on the 8-year anniversary of ASAP Mob founder ASAP Yam’s death. Earlier in the week, Rocky released a reworked visual for his song, “Angels,” which featured Yams with a halo digitally imposed above his head.

In an interview with Interview back in June, Rocky recalled how he coped with Yams’ death and how it put him on edge for the future. “I think that I’m more afraid of not knowing what’s next,” he said. “That’s a little scary. I have to accept it, but I’m not ready to die.”
