At the beginning of this month, one of Lil Baby’s shows ended in chaos after someone opened fire in the crowd. The shooting took place at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN, and one attendee was injured. Unfortunately, this also led the show to come to a rapid close, and the entire stadium was evacuated. The fan who was shot was reported to be in critical condition after the incident. Luckily, the injured fan has been doing better since. He took to social media in the days following, giving eager supporters an update on his health. “Pray for the opps 10x harder,” he told viewers.
Lil Baby later assured his Memphis fans that he would be issuing refunds since they didn’t get a full set. “Unfortunately I Couldn’t Perform Last Night In Memphis,” he wrote. “Ima Make Sure Everybody Gets A Refund Tho.” Footage from the evening started to circulate immediately after the shooting, revealing the frenzy that unfolded as countless fans rushed to leave the stadium. Authorities are now one step closer to justice in what was obviously a very frightening situation, as it’s been reported that the alleged gunman is now in custody.
According to ABC, 22-year-old Kevin Young was arrested yesterday (September 27), on various charges related to the incident. His charges include reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a weapon, and more. Police also found ammunition and drugs at the residence in Memphis where Young was arrested. He’s facing drug charges related to those findings as well.

Recently, Chicago-born performer FYB J Mane was streaming on Instagram Live in his car, when he was pulled over by police. Unfortunately, the stop didn’t end well for him, and he ended up getting arrested. The whole thing was captured by his phone, and broadcasted to all of his viewers. A snippet from the stream is now making its rounds online. In the clip, officers are heard asking FYB J Mane questions about the car he’s driving, his lights, and more.
The clip then cuts off, and restarts with a cop who looks to end the stream. It’s unclear what exactly he was arrested for, or what took place in the moments the live stream was paused. It is rumored, however, that he was taken into custody on drug and gun charges in Atlanta. He reportedly spoke with Riem Oh of No Jumper earlier this week, claiming that he was still locked up and asking the outlet for help getting out. Despite his reported claims, many social media users thought he was just trolling.
In other FYB J Mane news, the personality also debuted a new tribute tattoo earlier this month, which is dedicated to the late FBG Duck. His fellow Chicago rapper, who was killed in 2020, is seen smoking a blunt in the tattoo. It’s been alleged that King Von, who was killed just a few months later, was behind the shooting.
According to some claims made by FBI informants, the 26-year-old had placed a bounty on Duck’s head for $50K, which was eventually raised to $100K. That claim remains unconfirmed, however. On August 23, news broke broke about the arrest of Polo G, born Taurus Bartlett. After his L.A. mansion was raided, he and his brother and fellow rapper, Trench Baby, real name Taurean Bartlett, were taken into custody. The 24-year-old Chicago rapper and Trench Baby were later arrested on robbery, kidnapping, and assault charges.
Even though they have since been released, there are plenty of questions surrounding the case. While Polo G’s attorney has spoken out, much is still unknown. Here’s everything we know about the Polo G arrest so far and what to expect.
Day Of The Polo G Arrest
TMZ reported about the Polo G arrest on August 23. At the time, numerous police vehicles were seen around the rapper’s multi-million-dollar mansion. According to Rolling Stone, the search warrant was for the home that the two rapper brothers shared.
In video footage, authorities used a megaphone to order Polo G and Trench Baby out of the home with their hands above their heads. Once Polo G got closer to the cops, an officer cuffed him. It was reported that four suspects were taken into custody, including their sister.

The arrest was related to a robbery that had taken place earlier in August. Even though Polo G was arrested, the charges stemmed from a robbery that Trench Baby was allegedly involved in. He reportedly had robbed a man at gunpoint after inviting him to the home to film a music video. Police claim Trench Baby pulled a gun on the man once he arrived and made him empty his pockets.
The rapper also allegedly demanded that the man wire him money. The unknown man and Trench Baby had previously worked together, so it’s unclear why things went left. Even though Polo G wasn’t involved, he was charged with the illegal possession of the short-barreled rifle that was discovered at the L.A. home.
If all that wasn’t bad enough, after Polo G and Trench Baby were released from LAPD custody, the Burbank police came onto the scene. They immediately arrested the two brothers. Burbank re-arrested the brothers for “kidnapping, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon” stemming from an unrelated incident in April 2023. Polo G and Trench Baby were eventually released on $100,000 bail the next day.
The brother’s mother, Stacia Mac, posted on her Instagram, “Polo and Tbaby Have been released. Thank you for your concerns and prayers” followed by three prayer hands. Their sister, Leilani, was also released and posted, “My family is everything to me so this is never easy but we gone be alright!” She also said she was glad the police decided to let her go.
During the Polo G arrest, authorities stated that they found numerous weapons. A leaked photo showed the weapons included “rifles, machine guns, pistols, a shotgun, a suppressor, and a pair of switches.” Luckily, Polo G had one of the top attorneys on his side.
After Polo G was released, his attorney, Bradford Cohen, explained that Polo G wasn’t a convicted felon. Cohen told XXL, “The incident surrounded someone staying in Polo’s home and not Polo directly. The officers have detained Polo to ‘verify’ that he is not a convicted felon, as they assert a firearm was found in the home.” He also accused authorities of refusing to provide “access to our client which is also an illegal and unethical practice and someone will have to answer for these new wrongful actions.”
Further, Cohen emailed Pitchfork that the alleged incident happened in April. He wrote, “Given that, the charges against Polo are very unusual given the timing and purported knowledge of the police. The length of time between the alleged incident and the arrest is suspect.” He wrote that once the “facts come out it will be a very different picture than how the charges look on paper.”
Polo G and Trench Baby are expected back in court on September 12 and 13, as well as October 26. Right now, their charges are pending in Los Angeles. The incident took place at a hotel in the city of Rockwall, according to the outlet. Officers responded to a call claiming that a man (now known to be Musso) was acting belligerent after allegedly stealing a bag of chips from the food market. Staff approached the 32-year-old to demand that he pay for the product, at which point he became verbally abusive toward them and walked away. When authorities arrived on the scene, Musso was waiting outside the hotel and determined to be under the influence.
At the same time, local police reportedly found “a ton of outstanding traffic warrants in his name.” As a result, they cuffed him and took him into custody where the above mugshot was captured. Compared to the viral one that Donald Trump posed for earlier this weekend, Musso looks much more dejected. Thankfully, his charges are less serious and include public intoxication, theft (under $100), expired registration, failure to display a driver’s license, and violating a promise to appear notice. He was released on Sunday on a $1,000 bond.

He’s facing various RICO charges stemming from his alleged attempt to overthrow the 2020 presidential election. Countless people were eagerly anticipating his mugshot, which the former president eventually shared on his own social media accounts.
As expected, Trump capitalized on the situation, and started selling merch featuring the image. He’s selling coffee mugs, posters, bumper stickers, t-shirts, and more. All of the mugshot merch also features the slogan “never surrender,” and the proceeds are going towards his 2024 campaign. With that being said, YG has now taken to social media, revealing that he’s selling his own Trump mugshot merch.
Now, those who don’t want to support the campaign can rock t-shirts that say “F*CKED” underneath the historical image from YG’s lifestyle brand 4HUNNID. This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, as YG hasn’t been quiet about his stance on the former president. He famously dropped the track “FDT,” which stands for “F*ck Donald Trump,” back in 2016 alongside Nipsey Hussle.

Rumour has it that Erica Mena was drunk when police apprehended her at an Atlanta lounge on Friday (August 25). At the time, she was with Love & Hip-Hop co-star Bambi Benson, as well as ZellSwag and his boyfriend, Saucy Santana. The initial reports lacked detail. Nevertheless, over the past few days, video footage of the brawl that resulted in Mena’s arrest has surfaced online. Though her charges are the most severe, three others were taken into custody at the Fulton County Jail alongside her.
In the footage taken inside the venue, the reality starlet is undeniably doing too much. She appears to scream and jump up and down on couches while partying. Her energy level reached far above anyone else in the area. When security guards asked her to leave is reportedly when Mena became aggressive. As he saw the large men apprehending his small female friend, Zell stepped in, causing the situation to further escalate.
On Sunday (August 27), the police unveiled new details surrounding the incident. Arguably the juiciest piece of tea in the update is that Mena’s simple battery against an officer charge (which only she received) stemmed from her biting an officer during their altercation. It’s unclear where the 35-year-old sunk her teeth into her victim, or why, but answers will surely come forward in the coming weeks when Mena finally feels ready to speak on the situation.

One of the more surprising arrests in the Georgia indictment of Donald Trump was Trevian Kutti. Kutti is best known for serving as the primary publicist for Kanye West. However, she somehow found her way onto Trump’s Georgia indictment. According to jail records, Kutti was charged with three crimes – violation of the RICO Act, conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings, and influencing witnesses. She was set a bond of $75,000 and released after paying $7500.
However, rapper Consequence doesn’t believe any of that is true. He spoke to TMZ about what he knew of Kutti. He admitted that Kutti was working alongside Ye during parts of his 2020 presidential campaign. However, he isn’t sure that she was actually performing the duties of a publicist. Furthermore, Consequence defended Kutti, stating that he believed she was being persecuted for the crime of simply being a Black Republican. Consequence may want to re-think that claim thanks to the evidence that the Georgia DA has one hand.
The problem is that the prosecution appears to have evidence of Kutti committing some crimes. A video from a police body cam appears to show Kutti attempting to coerce a Georgia election worker, Ruby Freeman, into (falsely) admitting to helping rig the election against Donald Trump. It’s unknown when Kutti began working for the Trump campaign and in what specific capacity. Kutti went low-key viral for her smiling mugshot. Consequence told TMZ this wasn’t a surprise as she was “always pleasant to be around”. It’s unknown when Kutti, or any of the defendants, will be seen in court.
Consequence also spoke on Kanye 2024. He appeared to acknowledge that he would be helping the effort if Kanye does decide to make a “serious” run at the White House. Furthermore, the rapper is currently pushing his new track, “Who Shot Jamal?”. The track is part of a wider campaign to make mental health reasons more accessible to the victims of gun violence.
It didn’t take long for Momma Dee to react to the arrest of several of her former Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta co-stars. Erica Mena, Bambi Benson, and Rodney “ZellSwag” Shaw were booked after a nightclub altercation. The trio were charged with willful obstruction of an officer, with Mena and Shaw also receiving battery charges. Momma Dee quickly reacted to the news as it began to circulate online.

It seems that there is absolutely no love lost between these co-stars.
As the story spread, more information about what went down has emerged. The new details mostly come from Saucy Santana, who is currently dating ZellSwag. According to Santana, a very drunk Mena was trying to fight security and ended up roping in Bambi and ZellSwag to help. Santana dipped once they saw things starting to go south.
This was followed by footage of Mena “jumping and screaming” in her seat, which appears to validity Santana’s description of her demeanor at the time of the incident. According to the Fulton County Jail records, Mena was released on August 26 on a $20,000 bond. Meanwhile, ZellSwag was released on a $10,000 bond. Bambi, booked under her legal name Addie Richardson, was released on a $5,000 bond. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates as they emerge.

Regardless, the new footage shows her jumping and screaming in her chair. Hilariously enough, Santana laughs from his seat as he holds out a hand to protect himself from her in case she falls.
Actually, he was probably trying to get her attention to get her down from the chair, but to no avail. “So, last night my n***a was not fighting no girls,” Saucy Santana said of Zell on social media while addressing the scuffle. “He had got into it with the security, the authorities. He was out with his homegirls. Erica was very belligerent, I don’t know maybe she got too drunk. She was real wild last night.
“She got into it with the security guard, there were probably like three or four guards on top of her,” the 29-year-old continued. “I got the f**k out of dodge ’cause I don’t play that.” We’ll see what else emerges from this fight and what the future holds for those involved.
