Aaron Carter’s Son Visits His Grave On One-Year Anniversary Of His Death

Aaron Carter tragically passed away a year ago, and his loved ones did a lot to honor his legacy and name since then. It’s an ongoing process of grief whose wounds heal in time, but for a close partner, friend, family member, or father memory is always preserved and celebrated. Moreover, the singer’s family stopped by his grave site on Sunday (November 5), which marked the exact one-year anniversary of his loss. His ex-fiancée Melanie Martin took their son Prince to his headstone at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, and TMZ reports that Aaron’s twin sister Angel greeted them there.

In addition, the outlet relayed source reports that various of Aaron Carter’s fans and those sympathetic to his passing also went to the grave site. There, they privately or communally paid their respects, whether by simply attending or leaving behind candles, flowers, and the like. For those unaware, he was found dead in his California home, and passed away due to drowning under the influence. It was a shock to his fans and family, and prompted much conversation about his career trajectory and life up until that point.

Back to his family, though, TMZ alleged that Aaron Carter’s son Prince counted all the 20 candles left by fans during this visit. Also, Melanie reportedly stuck around until the cemetery closed in order to spend a private moment at her late ex-fiancée’s grave. Unfortunately, this tragic event caused a rift between her and the artist’s manager, who she claims “overworked” him and led to the stress that he sought to escape. While this is still purely speculative, it’s a dark and sad conflict during a time where many of his close ones feel a lot of pain.

Meanwhile, the family recently installed a new headstone at the grave site. “[We placed] Aaron’s portrait this morning at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills,” Angel wrote. “He adored his fans, and I know how much this would mean to him now having a final resting place where we could all celebrate his life. I invite you to visit, share your memories, and never forget who Aaron was deep down.” For more news and updates, stay logged into HNHH.
Rest In Peace Aaron Carter.

Offset & Quavo Commemorate Takeoff On The Anniversary Of His Death

It’s been exactly a year since the tragic and untimely death of Migos member Takeoff, and his former groupmates have taken to social media to honor him. Both Offset and Quavo shared heartfelt posts commemorating their late collaborator, who was shot and killed on November 1, 2022 in Houston. His murder continues to weigh heavily on his friends, family, and peers, namely Offset and Quavo.

Offset shared a touching black and white video of Take alongside a meaningful caption. “The times we spent is priceless what we built in this game they never wanted to give us our flowers we influenced the world,” he wrote. “I Love you Take you still here with us I just know you are!!!! Migo 4Life!!!!!!” The video is soundtracked by Takeoff’s song “Last Memory,” which comes from his first and only solo album, The Last Rocket.

Quavo posted a black and white photo of Takeoff, also accompanied by one of the late artist’s songs, “I Remember.” He quoted his fallen collaborator in his caption. “Can’t forget it won’t Forget It NEVER Forget it,” he wrote. “I Remember!” Quavo’s also been posting various photos, clips, and fan art of Takeoff on his story throughout the day.

It was reported last week that Takeoff’s alleged killer, Patrick Xavier Clark, is looking to chalk his shooting up to “self-defense.” According to his lawyer, Letitia Quinones-Hollins, Clark will maintain his innocence on trial. “We do believe that he has a valid self-defense claim,” she added. “I don’t think they can say with any degree of certainty that it was Patrick who actually fired the shot that took Takeoff’s life. There was someone else who started the shooting, it was not Patrick Clark.”

Jadakiss Explains How The LOX Have Stayed Together For Decades

Recently, The LOX got together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic album Money, Power & Respect. Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch have been performing together as The LOX since the mid-90s. Despite all of their time in the spotlight and various successes each have undergone individually, the group is still a functioning unit. They performed at Irving Plaza over the weekend as a show specifically celebrating Money, Power & Respect. Afterward, Jada took to Instagram to share some of the secrets behind the group’s continued presence.

“And they ask us how we manage to stay together for this many years,” he captioned an Instagram post made after the show. In the accompanying picture the three members of the group are seen together with their heads bowed in prayer. Fans in the comments agreed with his conclusion. “The realest and illest ish ever. It’s sad how many ppl underestimate the power of prayer,” the top comment reads. Elsewhere in the comments fans pour out love for the group’s impressive catalog and their ability to stay together after so many years of working together. Check out the full post below.

Jadakiss Says Praying Helps Keep The LOX Together

Not only are The LOX still together after so long, but they might still be recording productively. Last month, Jadakiss let loose a little tease that implied the group could be working on some new music soon. It followed a performance earlier this year where they joined some fellow hip-hop legends to celebrate the 50th anniversary of rap music.

The Lox are also one of the artists who recently received their publishing rights back. Diddy has been undergoing the process of returning many of his Bad Boy artists the rights to their own catalogs. What do you think of Jadakiss suggesting that group prayer is a big part of what’s kept The LOX together after almost 3 decades as a group? Let us know in the comment section below.

Drake Recalls His “Nothing Was The Same” Era On Its 10-Year Anniversary

It’s wild to think that Drake’s Nothing Was The Same is already a decade old. After all, the album is still in regular rotation for many fans and casuals alike, with some of his biggest hits, fan-favorite tracks, and as a strong contender for his best body of work. All these elements add up to a very nostalgic and important album for the 36-year-old, which he knows now more than ever. On Sunday (September 24), the album’s ten-year anniversary, he took to his Instagram page with a commemorative post. It features various pictures from that era, including tour setups, the 6 God onstage, and what looks like a music video screenshot.

“If I had to live my life again I’d make the same mistakes only sooner,” Drake captioned the series of photos. Clearly, making those mistakes paid off. The Toronto superstar remains one of the biggest artists in the world, and there’s an ungodly level of hype for his next studio release. He may have pushed back the release date for For All The Dogs various times, but we know it’s because he wants to make it special.

Nothing Was The Same Since Drake Dropped His Classic Ten Years Ago; He Reflects

In fact, it’s because of projects like Nothing Was The Same that Drizzy wants to hold his art to a higher standard. Sure, there’s an argument to be made that through bloated tracklists and genre diversions, he hasn’t lived up to that promise as well as he could. Still, fans dig through the mines and find gold in every release, and one can’t deny that nothing’s lowered the OVO MC’s commercial and artistic profile. With For All The Dogs seemingly bringing things back to “the old Drake,” maybe we’ll get vibes more reminiscent of this 2013 landmark. The R&B jam “Slime You Out” with SZA certainly points to that.

Meanwhile, this is just as much of a moment of celebration for fans as it is for Aubrey Graham. Fans shared their favorite tracks online from Nothing Was The Same, spoke on its impact on them, and where they were in their lives. What’s your relationship to arguably the crucial turning point in this discography? Let us know in the comments and stick around on HNHH for more news and updates on Drake.

Cardi B and GloRilla celebrated the one-year anniversary of their collaboration, “Tomorrow 2,” on Twitter, Saturday. The track gave GloRilla her first top-10 song when it peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. The RIAA has since certified it double platinum.

“1 year anniversary of tomorrow 2,” GloRilla wrote, to which Cardi replied: “COUSINNNNN.” Fans joined in the celebrations as well, sharing clips from the music video. “Congratulations to you and Cardi! It’s not the first time GloRilla and Cardi have referred to each other as cousins. GloRilla previously discussed her friendship with Cardi during an interview with NME published last year. “I ain’t got a lot of friends, and I’m easy to deal with. Cardi is my cousin. I was so happy and excited during the whole creative process,” she said at the time. “Cardi is a really sweet soul [with] such a genuine heart, and we come from a similar background, so it was easy to connect. And it was cr*zy when ‘Tomorrow 2’ hit the charts. I was like, ‘Ah! Ain’t nobody knew about me a couple of months ago!’”

Cardi B Calls Glorilla Her Cousin

GloRilla also shared her reaction to Cardi reaching out to her for the first time and admitted she’s tried sending her music before. “I had been sending Cardi music since I first started rapping, and I tried for so long to get her to look at my music. But then she ended up listening and liked my music, to the point where she was like, ‘I’ve already done my verse for ‘Tomorrow 2’ before I heard anything else from her. I love Cardi.”

In addition to their popularity, Outkast has received ample critical praise over the years. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below was actually the last hip-hop project to win Album of the Year at the Grammys, a note that Big Boi commented on during an interview with Elliott Wilson on his podcast, Elliott Wilson Experience, last month. “I mean, good in the sense of the level of respect that the group and the work got for that,” Big Boi said at the time. “I can remember after we won, Quincy Jones sent me a card and was like, ‘Are you surprised?’ And I was like, ‘But how you get my muthafuckin’ address?!’” Additionally, back in June, Billboard listed Outkast as the greatest rap group in history.

The love has resulted in fans clamoring for a reunion countless times. The duo’s frequent collaborator, Sleepy Brown, shot down the possibility during a conversation with TMZ at LAX, earlier this year. “Nah, they not,” he said. “[André 3000] is on a while ‘nother journey and he’s, you know, doing something. But me and Big [Boi] are still doing tours and stuff like that. Don’t hold your breath for no OutKast reunion. Don’t do it to yourself. It’s not gon’ happen, folks. Cardi B Claps Back At Fans Who Claim She Shaded Offset With Her Anniversary Post

Cardi B and Offset are one of the biggest power couples in all of hip-hop. Unfortunately, this makes them the target of fans who like to overthink everything. Moreover, people develop parasocial relationships with them, which, in turn, makes them think they can speak to them on a personal level. Overall, it is a very bizarre phenomenon that is definitely unique to the current social media era. Thankfully, Cardi is good at dealing with people who try and get involved in her life.

A perfect example of this went down last night as Cardi thanked Offset for his incredible anniversary gift. “Thank you sooo much baby,” Cardi began. “Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection and for being a great father to our children… I love so many things about you.I love the fact that I’m with a grown ass man that’s going to provide , protect and help both of us GROW and can handle my mouth ,my attitude,my confidence my weakness and all this ASS!! MY FAVORITE FAVORITE FAVORITE thing about you is that you study me and always pay attention to what I’m into From my favorite colors, my favorite brands to MY FAVORITE foods… I love that you into details like me because it’s always the lil things that make me smile or even drive me off the wall. Happy anniversary to US.”

Cardi B Celebrates Offset

Despite this sweet message, one fan claimed that Cardi was acting miserable and throwing shade. Cardi was genuinely confused by this and said, “I’m really confused. I got to reread again… How am I throwing shade?” Subsequently, someone came in and said that Cardi throws shots and then goes into the comments to play the victim when people call her out. Again, she was very confused by all of this and let that confusion be known. Essentially, she wanted answers on what she said, but no one was giving her those answers.

The Clap Back

All of this is yet another example of how people do not let Cardi B breathe. She was just existing on Instagram, and now, people are questioning her relationship. It is all very bizarre. Let us know what you think of the behavior of her commenters, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.
