Reebok, the iconic sportswear brand, has announced a multi-year partnership with the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), becoming an authorized footwear supplier for the league. The collaboration will highlight the league’s rising stars, including Reebok athletes Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky and Lexie Brown of the Los Angeles Sparks. Together, Reebok and WNBA players will create content to bring fans closer to the game.

“It’s an exciting time for Reebok, the WNBA, and the game of basketball overall,” said Shaquille O’Neal, President of Reebok Basketball. “Reebok has always been committed to supporting the growth of the sport, and now with a strong plan, the right resources, and the welcoming arms of the WNBA, we’re ready to dive in headfirst with everything from product to players and more.”

This partnership aligns with Reebok’s renewed focus on reclaiming its place in sports culture. In recent years, the brand has named legends Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson to leadership roles in its basketball division and signed rising talent Angel Reese, who debuted her “Reebok by Angel” collection earlier this year. Reese also helped launch the “Engine A,” Reebok’s new performance basketball shoe. The partnership extension between Reebok and Reese includes a signature sneaker release in 2026, making her only the second WNBA player to achieve this milestone with the brand.

“Reebok has been such an amazing partner and advocate for women in sport,” said Angel Reese. “As strong female athletes, we can use our platform to set an example for young players coming up in the sport. I’m happy to see the WNBA and Reebok supporting one another because I know that together we’re so much stronger and our reach is so much further.

Reebok has a long history in women’s basketball, producing performance shoes since the 1980s and sponsoring iconic collegiate teams throughout the ’90s. The brand gave Rebecca Lobo her own signature shoe in 1997 and supported leagues like the ABL, NBA, and WNBA during the late ’90s and early 2000s.

This latest partnership reinforces Reebok’s commitment to women’s basketball, building on its legacy with the WNBA and extending support to leagues worldwide. Fans can expect innovative collaborations and continued investment in the sport.

Rihanna & Angel Reese Lock In A Collab During Award Show

Rihanna and Angel Reese just made their admiration for one another very clear thanks to some new social media posts from the Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City on Wednesday (December 4). The latter received the honors for the Style Influencer of the Year award, whereas the former just hung out there with her boo A$AP Rocky. When they crossed paths, Reese shared some videos of their interaction to her Instagram page, with them even remarking on how they want to collaborate on something in the future. We have no idea what this link-up could look like, but either way, we’re excited for both of them to garner more pop culture crossovers.

Beyond Rihanna, though, Angel Reese has met plenty of other celebrities and musicians amid her newfound fame as a WNBA superstar. However, not all of them have the same results. For example, fans clowned DDG for a promo video he did with the Chicago Sky player, making it clear just how much shorter he is than her. He seemed to take it all in stride, though, as it’s hard not to anticipate those types of comments flooding engagement.

Anyways, back to this collab tease. The most obvious and logical way in which Rihanna could work with Angel Reese is if they endorse or promote each others’ brands. RiRi has a pretty huge one in Savage X Fenty, so perhaps that’s the vehicle through which they can cause some pop culture mayhem. As for Reese, she has a boatload of endorsement deals, business ventures, and media spaces of her own, so she could always invite the Barbadian singer on for some of those.

Meanwhile, even if this collaboration doesn’t manifest, we’re sure that Rihanna and Angel Reese have some big plans for 2025. They often have to reckon with new music demands or creepy podcast interactions to get where they want to go, but those haven’t stopped them so far. Fans want to hear some new gems and see more great games. But it’s clear that these women have far more tools in their arsenal to build their presences and support each other.

DDG Sets Himself Up For A Barrage Of Jokes In New Promo Video With Angel Reese

DDG recently posted up with Angel Reese to promote his new song with Real Boston Richey, and it was a bit of a backfire in one particular way. Of course, you can probably imagine what the mistake was in the video, and we’ll let the rapper himself explain it in his comment under the Instagram post below: “she had heels on, we the same height i swear.” A lot of people joked about the height difference here more than actually focus on the track itself. Well, that was probably the point, as any sort of engagement online is positive as long as you don’t mind the ends justifying the means.

If you want to actually check the song out, it goes by “What U Bad For” and it sees DDG talk about his recent breakup with Halle Bailey. “Thing about Halo mommy, you know that’s my baby forever,” he rapped about their son and his mother. “Y’all know that I love that [girl].” If only he and Real Boston Richey used a more compelling beat to maybe emphasize these points more.

Nevertheless, a lot of people are still curious about what happened between DDG and Halle Bailey, especially since they welcomed their son Halo into the world so soon ago. He admitted that he still hasn’t moved on from their split back in October, whereas she hasn’t said much about the whole thing other than chastising him for taking Halo to a Kai Cenat stream without letting her know about it. Still, amid a lot of online attacks that both receive, they always defend each other and course-correct wherever possible to take the load off the other person.

So maybe this clowning over this height difference is all worth it if it eventually leads people to look at DDG and Halle Bailey’s relationship. After all, it’s something he still seeks closure with and the closest thing on “What U Bad For” to a personal thematic focus. We can only wonder as to what other antics will come next in this often prolific saga. A nice, funny height joke is pretty reliable, so we’ll see what the next strategy is.

DDG Links Up With Angel Reese To Promote “What U Bad For”

DDG linked up with Angel Reese in a new video he shared on social media on Saturday. In the clip, he raps along to his new song, “What U Bad For,” which he and Real Boston Richey dropped earlier this week. In response, Reese poses next to him while he performs.

Users had plenty of jokes in response to DDG’s post when The Shade Room shared it on Instagram. Many referenced his ex, Halle Bailey. “Can y’all please stop promoting Halles baby daddy. We never knew who he was and still don’t care,” one user wrote. Another joked about their height difference. “When you trying to rizz your baby sitter but she ain’t going for it,” they remarked.

The video comes after DDG sparked rumors that he wants to get back with Halle Bailey. In a video shared to his YouTube channel, earlier this week, he explained his stance on having more children. “One thing that I do not want to do is to have ‘baby mamas’ or whatever y’all like to call it,” DDG explained, as caught by Complex. “If I was to have another kid, it definitely would be with the same person. I don’t want to have kids with multiple people. I feel like that’s just too much. I’m perfectly fine with Halo. I can live the rest of my life with just Halo as my son, I don’t need to have another kid, but I wouldn’t mind having like a daughter or something. I think that would just be dope, you know, but I want him to be able to kick it with his sibling.”

DDG and Halle welcomed their first son, Halo, late last year. They officially split up last month. Check out DDG’s video of himself hanging out with Angel Reese below.

Shaq Gets Dragged For His Creepy Comments Towards Angel Reese

Shaquille O’Neal was the most recent guest on Angel Reese’s Unapologetically Angel podcast, and it led to a pretty awkward moment to witness during their discussion. At one point, Shaq starts to talk about Angel’s shorts that she wore for a Wild ‘N Out event, and suggested that she should dunk in them to sell more T-shirts. The WNBA start was visibly uncomfortable about this sexualization, but Shaq didn’t pick up on her body language and continued his remarks. This resulted in a lot of backlash and controversy on social media, with fans cringing at the exchange and calling out this seemingly creepy behavior.

Of course, maybe this is all just out of context and fans are making a fuss about nothing too serious. Perhaps Angel Reese and Shaquille O’Neal laughed about it afterwards, but from what you can see in the video below, it wasn’t a topic she really wanted to discuss at all. After all, Reese has enough on her plate to deal with on the gossip train without another antic-heavy headline to add to the pile. She recently commented on how her WNBA salary allegedly doesn’t even cover her rent.

Shaq & Angel Reese’s Awkward Podcast Interaction: See Comments For Reactions

This prompted Cam’ron to give Angel Reese some advice on this matter on his It Is What It Is show, albeit after joking about her remarks at first. “I’m having fun a little but seriously, make sure that you stay on top of all that because you’re young, you’re pretty, you have a lot going on,” he shared. “Outside of the WNBA I’m pretty sure you have a lot of money coming in endorsements. Don’t take it for granted and don’t sit here and think that it’s going to last forever because you’re still young, you have a lot of time. Make sure you watch your money.”

Elsewhere, Shaq also dealt with some drama this year after he slid into the DMs of Toosii’s girlfriend. The rapper actually thought that the former basketball player was talking about his son in his message, but was actually referring to just lusting for his girl. Let’s see if he speaks on these comments…

Cam’ron Gives Angel Reese Advice After Learning WNBA Salary Doesn’t Cover Her Rent

Earlier this month, Angel Reese sparked a major debate by revealing that her WNBA salary isn’t enough to cover her rent. In a clip that quickly made its rounds online, the athlete explained that her rent is $8K per month. Her WNBA salary, on the other hand, is $74K.

“I’m living above my means,” Reese joked at the time. “Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at [in Chicago]. I’m gonna do the math real quick. I don’t even know my [WNBA] salary… Babe, if y’all thought… I wouldn’t even be able to eat a sandwich with [the WNBA salary]. I wouldn’t even be able to live.”

Cam’ron Tells Angel Reese Not To Take Her Income For Granted

Of course, Reese’s comments earned mixed reactions from viewers. While some figured that she was just messing around, and pointed out her multiple streams of income, others were concerned. During a recent episode of It Is What It Is, Cam’ron shared his take. After poking fun at Reese a bit for her comments, he gave her some solid advice, encouraging her not to take her income for granted.

“I’m having fun a little but seriously, make sure that you stay on top of all that because you’re young, you’re pretty, you have a lot going on,” he said. “Outside of the WNBA I’m pretty sure you have a lot of money coming in endorsements. Don’t take it for granted and don’t sit here and think that it’s going to last forever because you’re still young, you have a lot of time. Angel Reese Claims WNBA Salary Is Not Enough To Pay Her Rent

It goes without saying that Angel Reese has managed to make a name for herself with her successful basketball career. According to her, however, her WNBA salary is simply not enough to cover her living expenses. During a recent chat with fans, she revealed that she pays a whopping $8K for rent. She said her salary is roughly $74K, meaning that she’s spending $22K more than she earns from the WNBA on rent alone.

“I’m living above my means,” Reese joked. “Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all. I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at [in Chicago]. I’m gonna do the math real quick. Angel Reese Gets Candid About Her Living Expenses

While Reese has multiple other streams of income, her remarks have still earned her a great deal of backlash in DJ Akademiks’ comments section. Many Instagram users argue that she should find a less expensive place to rent, or cut back her spending in some other way. “First off why do you live somewhere that’s $8000 a month rent,” one commenter wonders. “No reason you should pay 8,000 for rent,” someone else claims. Others are coming to Reese’s defense, and noting how she’s free to spend her money however she chooses.

He explained afterward that he had simply been hacked. “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! [laughing emojis] See you tonight at Intuit Dome,” he wrote. Fans had quickly begun to theorize that he was trying to hide his relationship with Diddy after authorities arrested the Bad Boy mogul on allegations of sex trafficking, last week.
