FBG Duck’s Mother Sues Lil Durk, King Von’s Estate, & Several Record Labels Over Son’s 2020 Killing

FBG Duck’s mother, LaSheena Weekly, and two surviving bystanders of the 2020 attack on the late rapper have filed a lawsuit against Lil Durk, Only The Family Entertainment (OTF), several other record labels, and even the City of Chicago. They reference allegations of wrongful death, civil conspiracy, negligence, and failure to render aid.

In a press release put out by The Dinizulu Law Group, they accuse Lil Durk, King Von, and their associates of allegedly engaging in a conspiracy to murder Duck and placing a $100,000 bounty on his life. “Lil Durk…engag[ed] in, plann[ed], approv[ed] the bounty on FBG Duck’s life and condon[ed] the acts of violence King Von engaged when he knew or should have known of the violent conduct, and violent histories of King Von and other known gang members he affiliated [with],” the filing alleges, as caught by HipHopDX. “Lil Durk knew long before 2020 that King Von had a vendetta against FBG Duck, sought to rob and kill in the music industry, and consistently sought to build a brand of violence and reality rap based on committing real acts of violence on FBG Duck and the public at large.”

The lawsuit also targets several record labels including Alamo Records, Sony Music Entertainment Inc., Universal Music Group Recordings Inc. (Interscope Records), and Empire Distribution Inc, alleging that they knowingly signed, promoted, and profited from artists with gang affiliations and promoted “diss tracks” between them. The complaint accuses them of contributing to an environment that allegedly incited and monetized the violent behavior that led to FBG Duck’s death. It also alleges that OTF is “a hub for the O-Block criminal enterprise and street gang,” and “the media outpost of the O-Block criminal organization.”

As for the City of Chicago, The Dinizulu Law Group’s filing alleges police and emergency services failed to promptly aid FBG Duck after the shooting. They allege he lay alive for over 17 minutes on the sidewalk outside of the Dolce & Gabbana store where he was shot before receiving medical treatment. Toure went off on Jaguar Wright in a video on social media on Wednesday after the singer made headlines for her appearance on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show, last week. On the show, she made numerous allegations about JAY-Z and Beyonce while discussing the recent arrest of Diddy. During Tuesday’s episode of the show, Morgan apologized for platforming her and revealed that the celebrity couple sent him a legal letter denying the allegations.

“So we have come to the end of the Jaguar Wright sideshow,” Toure began in his response. “No serious media organization will have her on after what happened at Piers Morgan. Piers is a hack and he showed that in this situation, mainstreaming and platforming someone who has mental illness and not disclosing that. A conspiracy theorist who has no idea what she’s talking about.”

He continued: “Jaguar Wright had been living peacefully in the internet fever swamps, the conspiracy theory back alleys where, if you wanted to go way down the YouTube rabbit hole and listen to what the drunk auntie was saying off in the corner, you could find her. But she was not meant for polite company. She was never meant for serious media. Piers Morgan is not serious media, but now that JAY-Z and Beyonce’s lawyer has a sent a cease-and-desist letter, sending Piers to the camera to apologize like a chastened and spanked little boy who’s done wrong, no one else could even consider taking Jaguar seriously and giving her an interview. Chrisean Rock Responds To Alleged Assault Victim’s Lawsuit With New Legal Filing

Chrisean Rock may be on a new path of purity, but that doesn’t mean she won’t have to pay for the bad behavior she allegedly exhibited in the past. In November of last year, for example, the Baddies star allegedly had an unfortunate run-in with one of Tamar Braxton’s backup singers, James Wright Chanel. Reportedly, Chrisean had attended Braxton’s concert and was under the impression that she’d get onstage to perform at some point. This didn’t work out, however, allegedly leaving her angry.

When Chanel tried to speak with her, she allegedly punched him in the face multiple times and damaged his teeth. Chanel went on to sue her, but now, she’s firing back. According to In Touch Weekly, she’s denied all of the allegations Wright makes against her in the lawsuit. This includes allegedly causing him physical harm, emotional distress, and more.

“As a result of [James’] conduct and actions, [James] is estopped, in whole, or in part, from asserting any of their claims against [Chrisean],” her legal filing reads. Reportedly, the filing also states that Chanel is “barred” from “recovering any damages against her” due to his own “conduct, actions and/or omissions.”

Outside of Chrisean’s legal issues, the mother of one has been spending time with her son Chrisean Jesus, leaning into her faith, and more. Last week, for example, she took to Instagram Live during bible study with some friends. She got emotional, even breaking down in tears as one friend thanked god for bringing them all together. Ray J Goes Off On Diddy Before Threatening To Expose Other Alleged Abusers

Ray J went off on Diddy during the first episode of his new show, The Reality Check News. After doing so, he shared a clip of the segment on Instagram, in which he discussed the iconic artist’s recent arrest in New York City on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy has already pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes.

“Diddy was my friend. What do you do when you never seen all this sh*t that people are talking about? Do you believe it? Everybody’s innocent until proven guilty?” Ray asked during the show. From there, he cotninued: “Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody’s ass? There’s a lot of people out here taking from people. People are getting robbed of not only their money and their spirituality, they’re getting robbed of their womanhood and manhood. Asses are being taken in ways that nobody can explain.”

Ray also brought up authorities’ allegation that they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil during the homeland security raids on his properties, earlier this year. “I see a lot of jokes out there right now talking about baby oil,” he added. “Everybody got a joke about having about baby oil or lube. Is that okay? Is that the message?” Before concluding, he warned that he knows of several more people in the industry absuing their power. “I’m exhausted with the people in this industry that have power who are abusing the power. I can say a lot of names,” he said. “I won’t today but I will soon.”

Meek’s Tweet arrived after Morgan addressed his viewers earlier this week, and revealed that Jay-Z and Beyonce had taken legal action over the interview. He apologized to the duo on air, explaining his decision to cut some of her allegations from the interview. “Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact,” he said. “Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored… But there are legal limits on us too.”

A video of Diddy mocking a man by the name of James for passing out at one of his parties is recirculating online in the wake of the Bad Boy mogul’s arrest. Authorities charged him with allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering, last month. In the video, Diddy jokes about the nature of his parties in what appears to be London.

“For all those in London that don’t know what happens to the white man when he comes to a P. Diddy party, this is what happens to the white man,” he says in the clip, before identifying the man as “James” and noting that he’s a DJ. “When they come to one of my parties, this is what happens to them. I put them to sleep.” A source told TMZ in response to the clip that, “his statements were not meant to be derogatory. The government’s allegations do not address his parties. People continue to rehash old video clips to fit a certain negative narrative and it’s out of context.”

Diddy Performs In London

Diddy has spent quite some time in London throughout his career, which according to The Mirror, has allegedly prompted British investigators to begin looking for alleged victims overseas. “Given the huge amount of time he spent in London, there are concerns that the alleged offending was not confined to America’s shores. Prosecutors are imploring anyone in the U.K. who may have information they feel could help the investigation to get in touch,” a source told the outlet, last month.

Chris Brown Producer RoccStar Claims Singer Is Being Villainized In New Doc

Chris Brown has been a controversial figure for most of his career. His talent, and his ability to make hits is undeniable. His personal life, however, has been characterized by assault charges and allegations. The latter aspect will serve as the focus of an upcoming documentary. Chris Brown: A History of Violence will detail the alleged assaults that the singer has been accused of throughout the years. The ID release will include interviews with Brown’s alleged victims. One person who is opposed to the documentary, however, is the singer’s longtime producer, RoccStar.

TMZ asked RoccStar about the documentary, and the producer made it clear that he didn’t buy into the allegations. “I don’t understand,” he stated. “He’s probably one of the nicest, coolest dudes. That’s like one of my closest friends.” RoccStar, real name Leon Youngblood, Jr., also told the outlet that he felt the singer was being victimized by his accusers. “I just realized that the documentary wasn’t a positive doc,” he admitted. “I’m lost… We’re trying to go find victims now? I think that’s unbelievable.” RoccStar added that Chris Brown is one of the most successful artists of his generation, as well as a “family man.” He’s of the opinion that the singer’s critics should “get lives” of their own.

RoccStar Feels Chris Brown Has Become The ‘Victim’

“People are just trying to bring him down,” RoccStar opined. “He’s talented, man. Let him live. Let him do his thing… Now he’s the victim.” This is not the first time the producer has spoken up in defense of Chris Brown. RoccStar talked about his long-standing relationship with the singer during a recent appearance on AllHipHop. He also spoke highly of Brown’s process, and the fact that they’ve managed to make an impressive body of work together over the years. “CB don’t really mess with people too hard,” he said. “The fact that he trusted me to come in and make sure the frequency was tuned to where he’s going, in life and with tech, with different things.”

Chris Brown and RoccStar do go way back. The latter first worked with Brown on the 2014 release X, which yielded the smash hit singles “Fine China” and “Autumn Leaves.” Other albums with RoccStar production include Indigo (2019), Breezy (2022), and 11:11 (2023). RoccStar has been most involved with 11:11, providing production and songwriting on a whopping eight songs. The two are definitely in sync when it comes to the studio. One can only assume that RoccStar is going to skip out on watching the new doc. Chris Brown: A History of Violence, meanwhile, will air on the ID channel on October 27.

Diddy’s Key To Miami Beach Expected To Be Rescinded After Arrest For Alleged Sex Trafficking

Miami Beach city officials are reportedly planning to strip Diddy of his key to the city after authorities in New York City arrested him on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, last month. According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge of the situation say the move is in the final stage of negotiations. The day that it will occur, however, is unclear. Hurricane Milton is approaching Florida and could likely cause a delay in the move.

Former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine presented Diddy with the honor back in 2015 during the Revolt Music Conference at the Fontainebleau. He’s one of several celebrities who have accepted the honorary key, including Jennifer Lopez, DJ Khaled, and more.

It won’t be the first time that a city has rescinded an honorary key from Diddy. After CNN published footage of the Bad Boy mogul hitting Cassie at a hotel in 2016, earlier this year, New York City Mayor Eric Adams condemned him. “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence,” Adams wrote in a statement at the time. “Our city has worked tirelessly to make sure survivors are heard and seen by our administration.” Adams had personally presented Diddy with the key back in 2023.

As for his current arrest, Diddy has already pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes. He remains behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, recently confirmed to TMZ that his client won’t be taking a plea deal and intends to argue his case in court. Rumors about an alleged relationship between JAY-Z and Foxy Brown have swirled for years at this point.
