Adrien Broner Shockingly Seems To Admit To Murder At Pre-Fight Press Conference: “We Done Already Beat Bodies”

Before their welterweight match on June 7, Adrien Broner and Blair Cobbs had a heated prefight news conference. Things have changed for the fighter that has won four divisions. Broner’s career has recently been stalling. He defeated William Hutchinson in June 2023, going into the fight. He finally achieved victory after more than three years away from the sport. Broner was open about his battles with alcoholism, mental illness, and bankruptcy. Broner was eager to earn the biggest fights after defeating Hutchinson. He named Ryan Garcia, Rolando Romero, and Regis Prograis as targets in an attempt to win a world title and lucrative battles. Those names did not come to pass.

But mentally, Broner appears to be much stronger for this bout, thanks to the support and training from Gervonta Davis. Tank is also getting ready for his June 15 battle with Frank Martin. Being surrounded by a world champion and one of the biggest personalities in the sport has significantly boosted Broner’s morale and mental state. He is in excellent shape for this battle, but it is unclear if he will be able to perform. Broner did say something very out of pocket and pretty eye-opening. He seemingly admits to committing murder during his prefight presser.

Adrien Broner Seems To Admit To Murder

But prior to the bout, Cobbs and the former super lightweight champion engaged in a contentious argument at their press conference in Los Angeles yesterday. It appears that Adrien Broner went too far in the midst of the deluge of insults directed at him. He declared that if he pointed, his friends would shoot them. He said, “Don’t play no games. Coz my n****s got guns with them, bro. And I’m dead serious, bro. And all I gotta do is point and they’re gonna blow.” He continued, “And I’m dead serious, bro. And me and my n***a we done already beat bodies and they’re still looking for me. And every charge [has] been acquitted, my n***a…”

Broner continued, “For real, I am not here to play no games. So we’re gonna promote the fight but we’re gonna be respectful. Don’t do no dumb s**t and I’m serious, bro. For real, bro. I’m dead serious, motherf*****s gonna shoot you in your s**t.” The tirade continued for a little while longer and contained a lot more profanity. You understand. The 34-year-old is renowned for using blunt language prior to, during, and even following fights. Overall, this may have been the reason he was dubbed “The Problem.”

It seemed like an attempt at shooting his shot with the artist, but perhaps also an attempt at doing promo for his fight. After all, that is a great way to get people’s attention, even if for negative reasons. As for Leray, she did not appreciate this very much, as she handed down a brutal rejection.

GloRilla Claims That Adrien Broner Isn’t As Faithful As He Claims

Rapper GloRilla and boxed Adrien Broner probably isn’t a beef that anybody saw coming. But after Broner took to his Instagram story earlier this week with a post that changed things. “@glorilla pimp say every n*gga cheat but I’ve been fully committed in my relationship I’ve walked a straight line she lying bra bra.” Unsurprisingly after he tagged her directly in the post, Glo responded. “My dms determined dat was a lie” she responded with a story post of her own claiming that the boxer had sent her some messages before.

In the comments fans reacted to Broner’s audacity. “Ard tagging her knowing you was in her DMs is pretty crazy 😂” one of the top comments responding to the post reads. “Damn .. he Should’ve stayed Quiet 😂😂 Now She Boutta Ruin His Happy relationship 🤦🏽‍♂️” another one of the most upvoted comments agrees. While not every single reaction is so shocked or so one-sided, the vast majority of the comments come down on GloRilla’s side. Check out the story posts and various fan reactions to them below.

GloRilla And Adrien Broner’s Back And Forth

After having a breakout 2022, Glo was relatively quiet in 2023. She followed up her breakthrough EP with a deluxe edition early last year. Glo followed that up with a new single called “Lick Or Sum” a few months later. She also made three appearances on Gangsta Art 2, a compilation album produced by her label CMG. What do you think of GloRilla putting Broner on blast for claiming he’s faithful? Do you believe her when she says that he’s pulled up in her DMs? Let us know in the comment section below.

Adrien Broner

It looks like Adrien Broner has had a change of heart. The Cincinnati, Ohio native is best known for his exceptional talent inside the boxing ring, a four-weight-class world champion amongst his long list of achievements.

Most recently, the 33-year-old opened up on his Instagram to his 1.1 million followers, sending a mass apology to a slew of big-timers. Additionally, he took the time to reflect on the mistakes he’s made throughout his career, especially to those in the boxing world.

Broner shared to Instagram story a lengthy message: “Mf’s let they emotions and feelings get to them. I’m just a real ni**a and I wear my heart on my sleeves so with that being said, I wanna apologize to jay-z for telling him to suck my dick for sending me a contract from @rocnation. I wanna apologize to @meekmill when we first met it was awkward but I always fucked with u. but I just didn’t think you really fucked with me as tough that’s the only reason I gave ‘Shorty’ my attention and ever since then you just really ain’t been rocking with me but I take that on the chin like a man bro I still support you 100%.”

While apologies to Meek Mill and Jay Z came as a surprise, he continues to even address Diddy and Rick Ross.

He continued: “I wanna apologize to @gervontaa. I know you love me like I came out your mom and you just want the best for me but I will see you in Vegas we go talk. I wanna apologize to @diddy cause even though it’s not in my best interest to drink but when I do decide to drink tequila I drink @casamigos or @donjuliotequila when I should be drinking @deleontequila I wanna say sorry to @rich forever cause at my last fight I told him to meet me there too early and he was just sitting there for hours so he left but I apologize big bro.”

Not sure what prompted this change of heart and forgiveness, but Broner even went as far as apologizing to his long-standing rival Floyd Mayweather.

He stated: “When we first met you told me a lot and tried to teach me a lot but I went my own way and figured it out myself. But now that I’m older I can see that you tried to help me and if I would have listened if I probably wouldn’t have got in the trouble I’ve been in but I’m grateful for my experiences.”

Fans have been swarming with support, as Broner concluded, “Hope y’all enjoyed my diary.”

Adrien Broner Looking For KO In Comeback Fight

Adrien Broner was once one of the most hyped boxing prospects in the world. Before turning pro in 2008, Broner reportedly had an amateur record of 300-19. Furthermore, he began his career with a 27-0 run, plus one no-contest. He won several titles and became famous for bouncing back after the few losses on his record. Everything he worked for built up to a January 2019 fight with Manny Pacquiao. Broner had moved up to welterweight to challenge Pacquiao for the WBA title. It was a brutal and embarrassing unanimous decision loss for Broner, who never seemed to faze or challenge Pacqauio at any point in the fight.

After that, Broner stepped away from the ring for over two years. When he returned, his first win in over four years was once again soured. While he beat Jovanie Santiago via unanimous decision, many questioned the result. For example, two of the three judges awarded Broner the first round despite Broner failing to land a single punch. It was far from the return Broner wanted or needed. It saw him step away from the ring for another extended period. But now, he’s once again ready for a comeback.

Broner Shrugs Off Haters, Eyes KO

Speaking with TMZ, Broner got real about his June 9 fight with Bill Hutchinson. “It’s been a crazy training camp,” the 33-year-old said. “I feel good. I’m ready. I can’t wait to put on a show.” Furthermore, Broner appeared unconcerned about the people who believed he was washed and out of the game. “If I didn’t have critics or haters, then I wouldn’t be doing something right, you know? I’d feel like, ‘Shit, why nobody hatin’ on me?’”

Furthermore, Broner also noted that he would love to notch the 25th knockout of his career against Hutchinson. However, Broner’s last knockout finish came against Ashley Theophane in April 2016, over seven years ago. Furthermore, Hutchinson has not lost since 2016. The Pittsburgh-born boxer is on a 10-fight winning streak and last fought in January 2022. He holds a 20-2-4 record with nine knockouts. Who do you think will win between Broner and Hutchinson? SOURCE SPORTS: Adrien Broner Pulls Out of Weekend Fight, Cites Mental Health

Adrien Broner

Adrien Broner was set to compete in a junior welterweight fight against Omar Figueroa this weekend but pulled out due to his mental health.

Sergey Lipinets will replace Broner in the fight in Hollywood, Florida. This is the second time Broner and Figueroa will be canceled.

“Sorry to all my fans but mental health is real and I’m not about to play inside the ring,” wrote Broner. “I’ve watched a lot of people die playing with [their] boxing career and that is something I won’t do.

“Just pray for me. I love the sport of boxing to much to not give my all and I feel like I came up short before because my mind wasn’t 100% there and I be dam if I make that mistake again.”

Figueroa would issue a response on Twitter.

“Not saying you don’t suffer from mental health issues because as we can all tell you do, just don’t use it as an excuse now after you’ve been disciplined and not taking this fight/training camp seriously,” Figueroa wrote. “You don’t get to undermine mine and countless others’ journey and struggles [with] mental health because of your undisciplined/childish dumb ass.”
