50 Cent has always been pretty critical of Jay-Z and Diddy, especially upon the latter’s slew of allegations, lawsuits, and federal case updates. As such, fans thought that accusations against both of them for alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old at a 2000 VMAs after party would probably light Fif’s eyes up, but it turns out that his disdain doesn’t run that deep. Moreover, he recently reacted via Instagram to the anonymous accuser’s recent interview with NBC News. She admitted to some “mistakes” in her story, and while she stands by the idea that these inconsistencies don’t invalidate her experience, the G-Unit mogul is one of many folks out there expressing skepticism.

While 50 Cent and others react to these developments, Jay-Z and his legal team want to dismiss this sexual assault case as soon as possible. “Basic facts in her narrative – the who, what, when, and where – are wrong,” his lawyer Alex Spiro said of the “sham” lawsuit. He also alleged that the plaintiff admitted that she has “no single corroborating witness” and that her attorney Tony Buzbee violated court rules by “almost certainly [failing] to undertake a reasonable inquiry into the facts before filing the complaint.” AS you can see, all these accusations stumble over one another in their efforts to capture your attention.

Furthermore, while this Jay-Z and Diddy case continues to complicate itself, 50 Cent and the rest of us can’t do much more than react, assess, and evaluate. Most people refrained from a strict judgement call on this and just await more strong information and evidence via due process. The woman accusing Jay-Z and Diddy of sexual assault at a VMAs afterparty in 2000 elaborated on her accusations during an NBC News interview on Friday (December 13), but the Jane Doe ran into some challenges. While she admitted to “mistakes” in her story, she stands by her recollection and says that these inconsistencies do not prove that the alleged assault did not happen. Regardless, this debacle particularly and reportedly caused Hov and his lawyer Alex Spiro to move swiftly in court, according to TMZ Hip Hop. In a court letter reportedly obtained by the outlet, they inform the judge of these new developments and other updates, painting the plaintiff’s story as a fabrication.

“Basic facts in her narrative – the who, what, when, and where – are wrong,” Jay-Z’s attorney Alex Spiro expressed concerning the “sham” sexual assault lawsuit against his client. Diddy Accuser’s Attorney Claims They’ve Received Offers For Alleged Sex Tape

One of the most mysterious and speculative parts of the Diddy scandal is how he allegedly filmed various celebrities engaged in his alleged “freak-offs” for purposes of blackmail. Even though federal officials say they seized the alleged tapes in their raids on his Miami and Los Angeles home, rumors continue to persist that these videos are on the market. Moreover, according to News Nation, one of Sean Combs’ sexual assault accusers’ lawyers, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, claimed that unspecified sources contacted her about “sale of one of the Diddy tapes.” Not only that, but this supposed recording allegedly features a “more high-profile” celebrity that she did not name, in addition to Combs.

“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood being shopped around. But one particular person contacted me to shop a particular video,” Diddy’s accuser’s lawyer stated on the News Nation program Banfield about the alleged tapes. “I can tell the video was pornographic. This was in his Atlanta home, and it does seem like the person isn’t looking into the video. To me, it doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped.” To clarify, she seems to have various clients accusing the Bad Boy mogul of misconduct, but it’s unclear if the one she’s referring to is anonymous or if she just didn’t name her.

Mitchell-Kidd also offered more harrowing alleged details of her client’s supposed experience with Diddy in 2018, stating that she filed a police report at the time. “She reached out to me a few weeks ago,” she remarked. “She called me and told me about her assault and her escape, she was at a friend’s house who had industry ties. And Diddy decided to come to the house.” The attorney also claimed that her client found out that he planned to subject her to sex trafficking.

“It led to [someone serving her] a drink,” Mitchell-Kidd alleged. “She started to feel woozy. Combs sexually assaulted her with an inanimate object. […] And then directed another gentleman to sexually assault her while he watched and pleasured himself.” She claimed her client escaped from the situation, and that a neighbor witnessed this. Meanwhile, Diddy continues to deny the accusations against him.

Damon Dash Earns Key Legal Victory Against Sexual Assault Accuser

Damon Dash won his latest legal battle after a judge rejected Monique Bunn’s attempt at getting a new trial in her case against the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder, as caught by AllHipHop. She previously accused him of sexual assault and of stealing over 100,000 photographs she had stored on various hard drives.

Despite a jury ruling against her federal court, they did find Dame guilty of defamation, which resulted in a $30,000 award for Bunn. Her lawyer, Christopher Brown, attempted to argue that the verdict went against the reality of the evidence and that the pictures were worth far more than that. U.S. District Judge Dolly M. Gee has now ruled that the argument is insufficient.

In order to settle a judgment he owes to filmmaker Josh Weber over a dispute regarding the movie Dear Frank, Dame is being forced to sell off his shares in Roc-A-Fella Records. It hasn’t proven to be as easy as it sounds, however, as JAY-Z has been attempting to block him from doing so. In a legal notice, last month, he confirmed that the copyright for Reasonable Doubt will officially belong to him in 2031. Dame fired back at the move on Instagram: “They can say what they want, this shit is still for sale. You’re not buying a copyright, you’re buying a piece of a company ROC A FELLA INC. Please only serious inquiries only!”

Diddy’s Alleged Victim Fights To Stay Anonymous Due To Fearing For Her Life

One of Diddy’s anonymous accusers wants to stay as Jane Doe, and will fight tooth and nail to do so. But the New York business executive and his entourage will also stop at nothing to beat their various cases. However, this one actually doesn’t accuse Sean Combs of sexual assault. Moreover, defense attorneys sought to have a New York judge to force Doe to divulge her identity in her case against Bad Boy Records and former label president Harve Pierre. “Defendants’ motion is nothing more than a scare tactic and ploy to deter litigation against an already crumbling empire that can no longer hide behind the smoke screens of its money, power and fame,” her attorney Jeffrey Anderson argued.

For those unaware, this suit accuses Harve Pierre of sexually assaulting Jane Doe on various occasions between 2016 and 2017. The 2023 suit identifies her only as his former assistant. It also accuses Bad Boy Records of negligence and the suit against them claims that they enable Pierre’s alleged behavior. “Because of my former employer’s power and influence, I fear that I will be harassed and ridiculed if my identity was made public in connection with these claims,” Doe stated. “I am concerned for my physical safety and the safety of my family.”

“This is a source of shame and embarrassment for me,” Jane Doe said of this Diddy-related issue. “Should my identity be made public, I risk negative repercussions to my employment due to the stigma associated with being a victim of sexual assault. I fear others will view me negatively and my reputation will be negatively impacted. My mental health will suffer if I was forced to disclose my identity publicly. I should not have to be subjected to further harm in my efforts to seek accountability for what was done to me.”

Jane Doe has reportedly not told her family about the lawsuit or about Harve Pierre’s alleged crimes. She hopes the court will sympathize with her reasoning and keep her identity anonymous. Afrika Bambaataa has one of hip-hop’s most complicated, controversial, and crucial legacies in legendary and ugly ways alike. The hip-hop originator and pioneer also faced a slew of child sex trafficking and sexual assault accusations over the past eight years or so, which have really tainted his contributions to the culture in at least a small but nonetheless significant way. However, one of his accusers, Ronald “Bee-Stinger” Savage, linked up with him at an event for a Zulu Nation member, and Savage gave the following statement exclusively to AllHipHop: “Never underestimate the power of God when he intervenes in an affair he sets everything straight.”

“Bambaataa is not a pedophile and, in my eyes, he was doing something that was consensual with someone that he thought was of age,” Savage said of Afrika Bambaataa during a recent interview with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur. “I wish, back in 2016, I remembered about the fake ID, I wasn’t thinking about that I had forgot about that I was in deep depression and still dealing with the trauma as an adult. I want to apologize for the little kid that didn’t know anybody and just wanted to be down with this thing called hip-hop so I pretended to be older.

“This is something that took place 35 to over 40 years ago,” Savage continued concerning Afrikaa Bambaataa. “This man has never been convicted of anything. Let it go. If I can have forgiveness and healing, so can you.” Ronald Savage is a former hip-hop artist that also got involved in a lot of politics and activism in New York, particularly in regards to child molestation.

He accused Afrika Bambaataa of sexually abusing him back in 1980 when Savage was just 15 years old. This kicked off a wave of accusations against the rap legend. One viral post features a screenshot of Garcia’s Twitter account and under the “Likes” section is Minaj’s rant about the incident. It comes as Garcia has accused Megan of harassment regarding an alleged incident that occurred while he was traveling abroad with her.

In response to the viral post, many fans came to Garcia’s defense. “Nicki is one of the biggest artists in the world and they surprised someone would like her tweets,” one fan argued. “Be so serious.” Another wrote: “Why they always tryna blame Nicki Minaj?? It’s so weird & disgusting.”

Garcia filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, claiming that, following the aforementioned alleged incident, Megan began treating him differently. He claims that the “harassment was so severe or pervasive” that it created a “hostile, abusive work environment” and made “working conditions intolerable.” In turn, he wants compensation. His attorney, Ron Zambrano, further told NBC News in a statement: “Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct. Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. ‘Inappropriate’ is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal.”

Jimmy Iovine’s Accuser Drops Sexual Assault Case To Settle Out Of Court

Jimmy Iovine’s accuser is dropping their sexual assault case against the former record executive after coming to an out-of-court resolution. The plaintiff’s attorney, Doug Wigdor, filed a discontinuance with prejudice to close the case back on February 15th, according to Rolling Stone. He explained during a statement: “The matter was resolved to the satisfaction of the parties.”

Details of the agreement were not made public; however, Jane Doe had been seeking an amount of relief “for, but not limited to, physical injury, economic and compensatory damages, punitive damages, and attorney’s fees and costs.” She filed the lawsuit back in November under the Adult Survivors Act (ASA) in New York. The bill, as explained by New York State Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal, “provides victims of sexual assault who were 18 years or older at the time of their abuse a one-year look-back period to file a lawsuit against their abuser and, if applicable, the institution that harbored them, no matter how long ago the crime occurred.”

Iovine’s spokesperson responded to the lawsuit at the time, telling Variety: “We are quite shocked and baffled by this alleged claim. This inquiry is the first we’ve heard of this matter. No one has ever made a claim like this against Jimmy Iovine, nor have we been contacted or made aware of any complaint by anyone, including this unknown plaintiff prior to now.”

Iovine is just one of several high-profile figures in the music industry to face sexual misconduct lawsuits recently. Diddy’s Gang Assault Accuser Has “Public-Facing Identity,” His Legal Team Warns

According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, Diddy’s legal team just warned the court in a new legal filing in his gang assault case that his accuser has a “public-facing identity” that could be identified if named. Moreover, the Jane Doe claims that he and former Bad BoyEntertainment president Harve Pierre were among those who assaulted her as a group, along with accusations of trafficking. Sean Combs’ team wants to seal documents that could provide this information, which apparently came from his accuser’s latest filing. However, it’s important to note that the defense believes Jane Doe’s identity should come to light, but it looks like they don’t want to do so in this way.

Furthermore, it’s unclear what the alternative is, but when this case began in December, the accuser’s lawyers argued that she should remain anonymous throughout the whole process. This is because they believe the revelation of her identity “poses a risk of mental harm.” Diddy’s legal team argued that this shouldn’t be the case, but still requested the judge to conceal new documents “out of an abundance of caution,” as their filing could identify her. In addition, litigator Jonathan D. Davis alleged that Jane Doe’s team agrees with this sentiment.

Reportedly, Harve Pierre also echoed this sentiment via his attorneys. On the other hand, Jane Doe maintained while requesting to keep her identity concealed that her accusations “concern brutal sexual assault… when she was a teenager and, accordingly, are highly sensitive and of a personal nature.” Diddy, Pierre, and a third male whose identity is unknown face accusations of trafficking and assaulting her in 2003 at Combs’ New York City studio. This added to a slew of other sexual assault lawsuits against the entertainment and business mogul.

Meanwhile, this also follows reports that Puff Daddy will not attend the Grammys this year.
