Post Malone’s Lawsuit Is “Idiotic,” Kodak Black’s Lawyer Claims

Earlier this week, it was reported that Post Malone is being sued by the law firm Martorell Law. Martorell Law is accusing the performer of “physically abusing” his ex, Ashlen Diaz. They claim they have photos and text messages to prove their allegations.

Diaz hired the firm back in 2020, when she was seeking palimony after their breakup. Her deal with the firm included a percentage of her awarded settlement. She decided, however, to settle with Post privately instead, receiving $350k. Now, the firm wants their cut. “Defendant Diaz, unfortunately, gave in to such duress (as victims often do), to her own detriment, separating her from legal representation she desperately needed,” the suit reads. “Rather than face accountability, however, Defendant Post downplays his control over his ex-girlfriend, attempting to portray this action and twist this clearly wrongful behavior as somehow akin to a party trying to stifle competition.”

Bradford Cohen Weighs In On Post Malone Lawsuit

Malone responded to the lawsuit, requesting for it to be dropped and claiming that he didn’t control her decision. The firm further accused the artist of “coercion and pressure of one’s romantic partner combined with physical and emotional abuse.” Now, attorney Bradford Cohen, who’s known for representing Kodak Black, has weighed in on the situation. He took to Instagram to share his thoughts, and had some harsh words for the lawyers suing Post.

“This is an example of in my opinion, what disgusting lawyers do and what gives lawyers a bad name,” he explained. “This lawsuit is idiotic, in my opinion, breaches several legal fiduciary duties and is something that gives attys reputations of being jerks. Jonathan Majors just keeps getting hit with more bad news. After his arrest for domestic violence, he hasn’t really been able to catch a break. The incident in question took place in March. According to law enforcement, it occurred while Majors and his girlfriend were in a taxi. An argument started when she saw another woman’s message on his phone. Majors reportedly responded with physical aggression when his girlfriend tried to view the messages. Law enforcement was called, and his girlfriend was taken to the hospital with visible injuries. Despite his lawyers sharing messages that they claim will clear him of the allegations, people are distancing themselves from him. Now, more alleged victims are cooperating with the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

Sources say that multiple individuals who claim to be victims of Majors’ alleged abuse have come forward. If more women are able to provide evidence against Majors, it would be a significant turn in the case. Unfortunately for the actor, this development has resulted in his publicists and management company severing ties with him. Additionally, he was advised by Valentino not to attend the Met Gala. However, Majors and his lawyer may have just provided some evidence that could turn the tables for him.

Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Reportedly Partied After Alleged Abuse

Jonathan Majors has now claimed that the driver who was present during his alleged domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend will testify that he did not harm her. Supposedly, the driver will also testify that Majors never raised his voice or hit the woman in any way. Majors and his attorney further claim that the driver saw the woman attacking him. Majors had to ask the driver to stop the car so that he could escape her attack. The woman claimed to have suffered injuries during the altercation, including a broken finger and a laceration behind her ear, but Majors and his attorney say they have evidence that refutes these claims.

In this supposed new evidence, the ex-girlfriend who accused him of domestic violence was caught on hours of security videos going out to a club and getting drunk after the alleged attack int he car. She also reportedly sent him text messages accusing him of being unfaithful and threatening to harm herself. In the new filing, Majors and his lawyers included screenshots of the security footage. They show the ex-girlfriend using her supposedly injured hand without any issue. Whether or not the evidence is enough to sway the court or even public opinion remains tone seen. Jonathan Majors’ Problems Getting Worse By The Second

Jonathan Majors is still grappling with the allegations of domestic violence against him. The actor’s recent arrest has caused a stir in the entertainment industry. Law enforcement confirmed that his girlfriend is the alleged victim in the case that began his problems. According to sources, the couple had an argument while traveling in a taxi. Majors’ girlfriend reportedly saw another woman’s message on his phone, resulting in a confrontation. Reports indicate that Majors responded with physical aggression when his girlfriend attempted to view the alleged text messages on his device. Reportedly, he slapped her and placing his hands around her neck.

On Saturday morning, March 25, law enforcement was called to the Chelsea area in Manhattan, and Majors’ girlfriend was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital by authorities due to visible injuries on her face and body. Majors’ lawyers have shared purported messages from the woman that they claim will exonerate the actor if they are genuine. Despite this, people seem to be distancing themselves from him. He has now been dropped from several projects, and it would appear that more victims are coming forward to assist in the case against him.

Majors’ Victims Cause Major Shakeup

According to insiders that have spoken to Variety, several purported victims of Majors’ alleged abuse have stepped forward and are collaborating with the Manhattan DA office in the aftermath of his arrest in March. If more women are able to provide evidence against Majors, it would be a significant development in the case. It’s already not looking good for the actor. This new development Majors’ publicists and management company have severed ties with him. Additionally, Majors was also told that it was not a good idea for him to attend the Met Gala.

Jonathan Majors has also been dropped from several major projects that he was due to appear in, including an Otis Redding biopic and an MLB ad. Marvel has not yet dropped the actor, and it appears they don’t have plans to do so until there is a more clear picture of the events that have transpired. Ex-Laker Trevor Ariza Receives Restraining Order From Wife, Turns Over Weapons

Earlier this month, the wife of former Lakers player Trevor Ariza ran to authorities requesting a restraining order. Bree Anderson married the ex-NBA star in 2018 but has brought to light his abusive tendencies. With a divorce underway for this couple, Anderson revealed her fear for safety, and plead with the court for protection against Ariza. While the investigation is ongoing, the judge has granted Anderson a temporary restraining order, according to RadarOnline.

In addition, the 37-year-old athlete was ordered to turn in a series of weapons. Ariza has complied with authorities by giving up four guns to the Los Angeles Police Department. The firearms included two Glocks and two AR-15s, the news outlet reports. His weapons will remain in the possession of the authorities for the remainder of Anderson’s case.

Ariza’s Ex-Wife Seeks Protection

When Anderson initially sought protection against Ariza earlier this month, she claimed that he “engaged in acts of extreme physical abuse towards [her].” The victim continued in her statement, “he was verbally and emotionally abusive to me. Some of the abuse occurred in the presence of our children. I have been financially dependent on Trevor throughout our marriage.” Anderson also provided the court photographs of the aftermath of bruises caused by Ariza.

Throughout her statements, the alleged victim emotionally recounts the abuse she reportedly endured. On February 17th, 2020, she claimed Ariza severely choked her. “He immediately grabbed me by the throat and started choking me until I was unconscious,” Anderson reflected. Another instance occurred in 2021 when the basketball player demanded her phone. After refusing to turn it over, his wife claims that her husband choked her again, and punched her multiple times with a closed fist.

In her statement, Anderson summarizes the series of events and pleads with the court, claiming that “Trevor’s physical, verbal, and emotional abuse” warrants a restraining order. Currently, Ariza is temporarily prohibited from being within 100 yards of his soon-to-be ex-wife. The domestic violence incident with Rihanna shifted their careers, and after Karrueche Tran received a restraining order after alleging domestic abuse and threats, Brown faced a new wave of backlash.

This time, Chlöe’s fans questioned her collaboration with Brown. Her posts quickly circulated, and they weren’t lost on Brown. He addressed her in a lengthy response, but he also teased her during the process. “I’m getting kinda tired of Ya broken PROMITHIS PROMISTHIS,” he began. “Obviously you are at a point in your life where either you are very broke or broken. THE FACT you think you have to speak negatively about me makes u look so lame.”

Malú Trevejo Sued By Ex-Employees For Abuse: Report

She’s a social media influencer who has turned her online visibility into a singing career, but Malú Trevejo isn’t being highlighted for her accomplishments in recent reports. Billboard recently shared new information about a massive lawsuit filed against the 20-year-old star by four former staffers who accused her of abuse.

Victoria Barreto, Ralph Colon, Edwardo Vidal, and Witchneverson Lacroix state in their lawsuit against the star that they “endured mental, emotional, sexual and physical punishment” while employed. They also claimed the Cuban-American singer “berated them with racial slurs,” reports Billboard.

The outlet further detailed the allegations; Barreto worked as a personal assistant and alleged Trevejo made sexual advances toward him. She says the singer would ask her to sleep in her bed and cuddle with her. Barreto claimed she rejected Trevejo and then “experienced increased aggression.” She also said she was also called names like “stupid.”

Colon, the star’s bodyguard, claimed that Trevejo “frequently ignored” his advice about her safety. He says her behavior also placed him in danger in incidents that could have been avoided.

Trevejo’s attorney issued a statement regarding the allegations. “Ms. Trevejo is aware of the false allegations in the lawsuit and looks forward to defending herself against these baseless claims.”
