Aaron Rodgers Blasts Jets For “Chicken Sh*t” Locker Room Leaks

Aaron Rodgers has publicly criticized the New York Jets for a number of locker room leaks that appeared to villainize benched quarterback Zach Wilson. “That’s a problem with the organization. We need to get to the bottom of whatever this is coming from and put a stop to it privately, because there’s no place in a winning culture where — and this isn’t the only time. There’s been a bunch of other leaks,” Rodgers told The Pat McAfee Show.

The leaks in question stemmed from an article published by The Athletic. Anonymous locker room sources had told the outlet that Wilson appeared “reluctant” to resume QB1 duties with the Jets all but eliminated from playoff contention. These sources speculated that, much like a college player sitting out a bowl game, Wilson is wary of getting injured before he likely joins a new team next season. Rodgers questioned why someone within the Jets organization would want to “assassinate someone’s character like that report does for Zach”. Furthermore, Rodgers called the rumors “chicken sh-t at its core”.

Jets Eye Another QB Change With Elimination Looming

The Athletic report stemmed from the fact that the Jets cut Tim Boyle, their starter of the past two games, this week. Signing Brett Rypien from the Seahawks practice squad, the team could be in line to start their fourth quarterback of the season this weekend. Wilson, benched two weeks ago, is back in consideration for another start. However, the team also has veteran options with Rypien and the previous week’s QB2, Trevor Siemian.

At 4-8, the Jets have now lost their last five games, completely squandering their surprising 4-3 start to the season. While they cannot be completely eliminated from playoff contention this week, falling to 4-9 would all but end their season. Furthermore, they must overcome a surging Houston Texans team that has won four of their last five games. After starting 2-3, the Texans are now jostling for position in the playoff race. Jets head coach Robert Salah is expected to announce the team’s starting QB later today.

Aaron Rodgers Says “Anything’s Possible” With Jets Return

Aaron Rodgers argued that he could return earlier than Christmas Eve if his recovery continues to go well. “Anything is possible. It feels great to be on the practice field, but I’m not anywhere near ready to play,” Rodgers told reporters on Thursday. The veteran QB was cleared for limited practice on Wednesday, giving the Jets 21 days to activate him from injured reserve. Rodgers will wait until next week to try practicing on back-to-back days. Furthermore, Rodgers will turn 40 this weekend.

For the time being, Tim Boyle will remain the Jets starter. “Yeah, we’re giving Timmy another shot to roll next week. Obviously, there are things that he could’ve done better. There are things he had no control over, and I know he battled out there, and we were able to get to certain calls that we were hoping to do. We were able to execute a lot of the different things that we wanted to execute. It just didn’t come to full fruition,” head coach Robert Saleh told reporters.

Rodgers Return Dependent On Playoff Chances

However, Rodgers reiterated that his return depends on whether the Jets can still make the playoffs. “I don’t think that would make a ton of sense. A comeback this year before the four-month mark would mean I’m not 100 percent healthy, so it’d be a risk for myself. For the team to sign off on if we’re out of it, I’d be surprised if they would OK that to come back,” Rodgers noted. Per ESPN, the 4-7 Jets have a less than 1% chance to make the playoffs. While a loss to Atlanta on Sunday wouldn’t eliminate, it would put the team one loss away from elimination.

Furthermore, the Jets don’t have the easiest schedule before Rodgers’ preferred return. Their slate includes games against the surging Texans and the division-leading Dolphins. However, not everyone is a fan of Rodgers’ decision to try and return this season. Chad Johnson pleaded with him to focus on recovery. Meanwhile, Stephen A. Smith told the QB to “sit your a– at home.” Despite this, Rodgers appears set on at least entertaining the possibility of an unprecedented recovery.

Aaron Rodgers Cleared For Practice With The Jets

Aaron Rodgers will begin practicing with the Jets this week, just 11 weeks after undergoing Achilles surgery. The decision means that the Jets now have 21 days to active Rodgers from injured reserve. If they don’t, he will have to remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season. That deadline has been set as December 20. Four days later, the Jets play the Commanders in a game that Rodgers has publicly earmarked as his preferred return.

However, Rodgers also told The Pat McAfee Show this week that his return is not set in stone. Playing with the Jets again this season will depend on the continued progress of his recovery and the Jets’ standing in the playoff race. The Jets are currently 4-7 and have lost their last four games. The team, currently holding the second-worst record in the AFC, will need a miracle to make the place. However, their games before Rodgers’ preferred return include matchups against the surging Texans and division-leading Dolphins. A loss to Atlanta this weekend could see the Jets on the doorstep of elimination as early as next week.

Jets Mull QB Issue As Rodgers Recovers

A key piece to keeping the Jets in playoff contention will be their play at quarterback. Zach Wilson remains benched behind Tim Boyle and Trevor Siemian. Furthermore, the Jets have scored just two touchdowns in their last five games – one in their win over the Giants on October 29 and one in their loss to Miami this past weekend. For the time being, Boyle will remain the Jets’ starter. Rodgers’ former Green Bay backup threw for 179 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions against Miami.

Aaron Rodgers Reveals Ambitious Timeline For His Return

Aaron Rodgers suffered a brutal Achilles injury during his first-ever game with the New York Jets. Overall, fans were appalled that such bad fortune could take place. However, there were also a lot of people who roasted Rodgers. After all, he has been catching heat over the last year thanks to his political views. Regardless, this ended up setting the Jets back quite a bit. Subsequently, the team has been pretty mid, although Rodgers has made it his mission to come back to the field as soon as humanly possible.

Throughout the last few weeks, the Jets quarterback has made the ambitious claim that he will play before the end of the season. In fact, some have considered that he could play the last two games of the season as the Jets try to make the postseason. However, it is becoming more and more unlikely that they can go that far. After all, the Jets are 4-5 which doesn’t exactly instill much confidence. That said, last night, Rodgers made a very telling prediction.

Aaron Rodgers Is Getting Ready

According to Melissa Stark of NBC, Rodgers believes he can be back as soon as mid-December. Overall, this feels like a bit of a stretch. Typically, an Achilles injury keeps you out for a year. If he comes back in December, then his recovery will have only been three months. Although it is true that Rodgers is trying new things with his recovery, there has to be some sort of line drawn. By returning in December, Rodgers would be opening himself up to an even worse injury.

Only time will tell whether or not Rodgers can get it going this season. If he does, we might be looking at one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history. Let us know what you think of Rodgers’ ambitious plan, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Chad Johnson Begs Aaron Rodgers Not To Rush Return From Injury

Chad Johnson made an impassioned plea to Aaron Rodgers this week, asking the veteran QB to stay sidelined instead of trying to force an expedited return to the field. “Don’t do it. You’re going to reinjure yourself. It’s too soon. You have to understand. There are few injuries that you don’t want to play with. You don’t want to play with anything having to do with your groin, your Achilles, or your knees. You don’t rush back from those. I don’t care what your doctors tell you,” Johnson said via TMZ.

Rodgers went down four plays into his debut with the Jets back in September. However, the alternative medicine practitioner has recently hinted that he is just a few weeks away from being ready to play again. Given that Achilles tears tend to need 6-9 months to heal, it’s practically a miracle that Rodgers is seemingly bouncing back from one in half that time. Without Rodgers at the helm, the Jets are 4-4. The team has one of the best defenses in the league most weeks. However, there is little to no life on offense to help win games. This week, the Jets take on the 4-5 Raiders in Vegas. The Jets are favored by a single point in the matchup.

Rodgers Making Millions From Pat McAfee Show Appearances

However, the time on injured reserve hasn’t been all bad for Rodgers. According to a New York Post report last month, Rodgers is making at least seven figures a year for his weekly segment on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show. Rodgers has made a weekly Monday appearance on McAfee’s show ever since he moved to ESPN in September. “Aaron has made over $1,000,000 with us, for sure,” McAfee told the Post via direct message. It’s unknown if Alabama coach Nick Saban, who also does a weekly segment, is also paid to appear.

Many of Rodgers’ major offseason revelations were made on McAfee’s show, both before and after it moved to ESPN. Trade rumors, the darkness retreat, his aggressive rehab plan. All of those happened on McAfee’s show. Of course, there’s no rule against Rodgers getting paid for media appearances. However, it takes some of the veneer off McAfee’s brand. The former punter had built a reputation as a foul-mouthed frat bro who naturally attracted like-minded individuals to him. While he might still do that for his audiences, it appears his guests need a fat check to hang out with him.

SOURCE SPORTS: Aaron Rodgers Says a Return ‘In A Few Weeks’ is an ‘Unrealistic Timeline’

Aaron Rodgers Feared to Have Suffered Season-Ending Achilles Injury

Aaron Rodgers is about to pull off a feat we may have never seen before: a return from an Achilles tear in the same season.

AR12 was spotted throwing footballs during Monday Night Football pregame. Still, after his New York Jets dropped to 4-4 on the season, Rodgers was spotted speaking to Los Angeles Chargers defensive back Derwin James and giving an update on his status.

“When you coming back?” James asked.

“A few weeks,” Rodgers responded.

And then the ears of football America perked up.

Popping up on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers gave some clarity.

“I’ve known Derwin for a while,” Rodgers said. “We’ve got the same agency. He came over, dapped me up during the game. … I didn’t realize that was gonna get caught there. Obviously that was said with a little tongue-in-cheek there. It’d be nice to be back in a couple of weeks. That’s probably not anywhere near a realistic timeline. It could be a few, it could be a lot. It’s more of a phrase that didn’t have a specific timetable. I said it smiling, joking.”

Rodgers did say he was ahead of schedule but did not commit to a team. You can hear it from AR12 below.

Aaron Rodgers Says He Might Be Returning From His Achilles Injury In “A Few Weeks:” Watch

When Aaron Rodgers went down with his unfortunate achilles tear everyone thought that the New York Jets season was lost. Even after the highly maligned Zach Wilson stepped in and led them to a thrilling win over the division-rival Buffalo Bills, no one was convinced. However, the defense has been pretty much lights out and Zach has made some plays. This was good enough for them to go on a three-game winning streak. They did come back to earth against the Los Angeles Chargers last night, losing 27-6 and dropping to 4-4.

But, the season is still far from over for these Jets. They are in the thick of the playoff race. They are just a few spots behind the Cincinnati Bengals for the final wildcard spot. On top of that, multiple people have claimed that if they remain in the hunt, Rodgers would try to rush back and play. It would be quite a miracle, though. TMZ Sports says that the fastest anyone has recovered from an achilles tear was Minnesota Vikings running back Cam Akers. That took around five and a half months. But, Aaaron has been making serious progress and apparently, it could be in no time that we see him take the field.

Aaron Rodgers Teases A Possible Comeback

Right after the game, the players ran to centerfield to chat. Two of those were Aaron and Chargers stud safety, Derwin James. He asked the injured quarterback when he would be coming back right away. Interestingly, Aaron had this to say to him, “Give me a few weeks.” With the cameras rolling this could all be a ruse, but with his recovery process maybe he is telling the truth.

What are your initial thoughts on Aaron Rodgers saying he might be returning to action in “a few weeks?” Do you believe him, or was he just being aware that the cameras were on him? If he comes back, will the New York Jets be a threat in the playoffs? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Aaron Rodgers Making Millions To Appear On “The Pat McAfee Show”

According to the New York Post, Aaron Rodgers is making at least seven figures a year for his weekly segment on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show. McAfee Enjoys Massive First Month On ESPN

Despite this revelation, or perhaps because of it, McAfee’s first month on ESPN was a booming success. The Pat McAfee Show received 242 million viewers across all platforms in its first month on the network. The weekday show, which airs in the noon broadcast slot, is simulcast across ESPN, ESPN+, and YouTube. Furthermore, the single-day peak of McAfee’s first month was a live broadcast from Boulder on September 15. That show alone brought in 1.9 million viewers.

“To be rather transparent, I’m not sure any of us had any certainty of how this particular report was gonna be when this all started a month ago. We had hopes that a massive new audience provided by ESPN would give our show a chance and ESPN had hopes of us helping with the transition into the new multi platform generation of daily sports entertainment. I’m proud of my guys for their work and very thankful for ESPN’s belief in us because I do believe these numbers are telling us all that we’re off to a rather good start. We appreciate everything and everybody. We’re pumped about the continued possibilities on ESPN’s phenomenal platform. Cheers,” McAfee said in a statement.

Aaron Rodgers Invites Travis Kelce To Engage In Vaccine Debate

Aaron Rodgers has been a bit bored as of late. Overall, this is thanks to the fact that he is currently out with an Achilles injury. At this stage, he can no longer play football for the rest of the year. Although he says a comeback is still possible, many believe he is done for the year. Moreover, the New York Jets are not looking so good, which has only made things worse. If you are a Jets fan, it sucks. If you are an Aaron Rodgers fan, well, that must suck too. Overall, it is just a bad situation.

Last week, you probably remember how Aaron Rodgers called out Travis Kelce and said he was “Mr. Pfizer.” Of course, this is a reference to the fact that Kelce is COVID-19 Pfizer commercials. Last week, Kelce was given the opportunity to respond to these offhand comments. He said he never thought that he would be getting involved in “vaccine wars.” It was a good response, although Rodgers had something up his sleeve today. He was on Pat McAfee’s show, where he revealed what he thinks of the whole ordeal.

Aaron Rodgers Wants To Talk

“Mr. Pfizer said he didn’t think he’d be in a vax war with me.. this isn’t a war this is just conversation,” Rodgers claimed. Calling a guy by a pejorative isn’t necessarily a conversation, but who are we to say? Either way, Rodgers even went so far as to invite Kelce to a debate. We doubt this debate would actually be productive, especially when you consider what these men do for a living. Neither are experts in vaccines and medicine, so there is no point here. It is all just for show, and very few people will actually care.

Let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

Travis Kelce Responds To Aaron Rodgers “Mr. Pfizer” Comment

Travis Kelce didn’t appear too fazed by Aaron Rodgers calling him “Mr. Pfizer” on the Pat McAfee show. However, in his response, he did remind Rodgers who signed the anti-vax QB’s paychecks. “I thought it was pretty good. I mean, with the stache, I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man, Mr. Pfizer vs. the Johnson and Johnson family,” Kelce said. The last comment was a reference to the Jets, Rodgers’ team, being owned by the heir to multinational conglomerate, Johnson & Johnson. Of the many products J&J produces, pharmaceuticals and a one-shot COVID vaccine are some of them.

Rodgers dubbed Kelce “Mr Pfizer” due to Kelce appearing in a series of ads encouraging people to get the new COVID vaccine. “Mr. Pfizer, we kinda shut him down a little bit. He didn’t have a crazy impact game. Obviously he had some yards and stuff,” Rodgers told McAfee this week. Kelce had a team-leading 60 yards on six catches against the Jets last week. The Chiefs scored an ugly 23-20 road win.

Donna Kelce Speaks On Traylor

Meanwhile, Kelce’s mom, Donna, has been sharing her thoughts on her son’s new girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Momma Kelce is still getting used to the fact that her son is dating Taylor Swift. “I feel like I’m in an alternate universe. It’s something I never thought I’d be involved with,” Travis Kelce’s mom told the Got It From Momma podcast. Furthermore, she noted that the NFL must be “laughing all the way to the bank” thanks to the surge in popularity from the new Swift connection. Additionally, Kelce noted that the natural benefits from Swift appearing at games is probably doing more for the league than any PR firm could. She also revealed her Swiftie status, saying her favorite songs were “Shake It Off” and “Bad Blood”.

Swift has attended the last two Chiefs games against the Bears and Jets. After weeks of rumors, her time with Kelce after the Bears game confirmed that the pair were in fact a couple. Furthermore, Swift was seen partying it up with Donna during the Bears game. Meanwhile, the pop star brought some A-list friends to the game in New Jersey last weekend. Swift is expected to attend the Chiefs’ upcoming game in Minnesota this weekend.
