Overnight Chief Keef dropped his first new solo album in 3 years. Almighty So 2 is the long-awaited follow-up to his 2013 fan-favorite record Almighty So. It comes after Keef dropped 4NEM back in 2021 and delivers more than an hour of music split across 16 tracks. The album features Quavo, Sexyy Red, Tierra Whack, G Herbo, and more. It also features the single “Tony Montana Flow” which has already racked up more than 32 million streams. Fans who are loving the record will have the chance to see it performed live at numerous shows this summer.
Those are coming on the “A Lil Tour 2024” which will see Keef hitting up a number of American cities. Most notably is his return to Chicago where he’ll be playing for the first time in a decade. It’s also his first proper tour since he last hit the road in 2017. He’ll make 17 stops in July and August headlining a number of shows and stopping by a few festivals along the way. Earlier this year fans got a taste of the upcoming tour when he performed at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. Fans looking to get tickets for the shows in advance will be able to starting May 15 on the rapper’s website. Check out the full tour dates below.
Chief Keef and Sexyy Red are already developing an interesting relationship both artistically and personally. They’ve now collaborated four different times on record in the span of less than a year. They’ve also had nothing but glowing things to say about each other’s artistry when asked. Keef was just recently left stunned by one particularly sexy thirst trap from the breakout rapper.
What do you think of Chief Keef announcing a tour in the wake of his new album Almighty So 2 dropping? Do you plan on seeing him perform at any of the dates he’ll play this summer? Let us know in the comment section below.
During a recent episode of The Breakfast Club Charlamagne and company were discussing Megan Thee Stallion. They talked about a recent freestyle she shared over a Gucci Mane song and discussed her upcoming Arena tour. That’s when they made the claim that she might not be an “arena artist” saying that while she’s high caliber she may not be there yet. Of course, fans hit back quickly. They pointed out that numerous shows on her arena tour have already sold out making her an arena artist basically by definition.
That’s why its no surprise that the show walked back on their comments about Megan. In a recent segment they retracted the claims sharing the evidence that was presented to them. Included in their claim is the fact that Megan has already sold out more than a dozen arenas in her upcoming tour. They even list the numerous venues in major cities, even including Madison Square Garden, that have sold out. Check out the full clip of their updated statement following the newly researched evidence below.
Megan Thee Stallion has been promising big things for 2024. She’s already dropped the single “HISS” where she took aim at numerous adversaries who have come for her in the past. Most notable was Nicki Minaj, whose response track “Big Foot” was massively panned by fans and critics alike. Megan followed that up by teaming up with GloRilla on the song “Wanna Be.” The song landed on Glo’s Ehhthang Ehhthang mixtape and debuted at number 11 on the Hot 100. It’s still lingering on the charts sitting at number 34 this week.
Just today Megan announced that the next single from her new album will drop later this week. What do you think of Charlamagne The God and his Breakfast Club cohosts correcting their comments about Megan Thee Stallion? Do you have tickets to any of the shows on Megan’s upcoming arena tour? Let us know in the comment section below.
Last year, Gunna delivered one of the biggest rap hits of the year and one of the biggest songs of his entire career. “fukumean” took off the moment he dropped his album a Gift & a Curse. Though the album didn’t receive much promotion and was released amid a flurry of snitching allegations related to the YSL RICO trial, the song took off immediately. During a recent concert in Detroit at The Fox Theater fans showed just how hype the song gets them.
Gunna has been sharing clips from his Bittersweet tour to Instagram but the latest is perhaps the most impressive. The video shows that fans in the balcony seats were vibing with the song to a potentially dangerous extent. The entire balcony platform bobs up and down with the beat of the song leading fans in the comments to speculate that it isn’t the most structurally sound. “Nah that joint is about to collapse” one of the top comments on the post reads. “Detroit yall can’t keep using the same building jackson 5 performed in lol” another comment jokes. Check out the shocking video of an entire balcony shaking during his performance below.
Gunna has already begun teasing another new album that he plans to drop later this year. He’s confirmed that the project is called One Of Wun and even shared the album cover to Instagram last month. The record already has a few singles under its belt, headlined by the song “Prada Dem” with Offset which quickly became a fan favorite. He also has high expectations for the record, promising TMZ that it would his number one on the Billboard 200.
What do you think of the shocking video of fans making an entire balcony bob up and down to Gunna’s “fukumean?” Do you think the venue should check on its structural integrity in the wake of the viral clip? Let us know in the comment section below.
2024 has been a great time for fans of female rappers to see their favorite artists live. The biggest is Nicki Minaj who took off on her Pink Friday 2 tour earlier this year in support of the album of the same name that dropped last year in December. Missy Elliott also recently announced she was going on a star-studded tour, the first ever headlining tour of her career. Elsewhere fans have gotten to see artists like Sexyy Red and JT as they take off across the country. Another legend could be following next, Lil Kim.
She hasn’t officially announced a tour yet. There’s no name, dates, or even a time frame of when shows will be or tickets will go on sale. In fact, from the sound of it Kim isn’t even the headliner on the tour. She recently made the announcement that she was going on tour with somebody. It’s unclear who she’s talking about but she describes them as “special” and “amazing.” In the comments of the video where she makes the announcement fans speculate on who she may be joining on tour. Almost all of that speculation is around Nicki Minaj, who will continue her world tour well into 2024. Check out the video of her making the reveal below.
Last month, Lil Kim got into some hot water with fans online. She revealed she was dating a 24-year-old which got fan’s attention right away. Given that the rapper is nearly 50-years-old at this point it’s easy to see why fans had drastic reactions to the news. The news served as an extra big surprise for fans after months of speculation on who she might be dating.
What do you think of Lil Kim announcing that she will guest on a very special artists tour later this year? Do you think she’s talking about Nicki Minaj and would you go see her perform on the Pink Friday 2 tour? Let us know in the comment section below.
It’s been a flood of PARTYNEXTDOOR news in the past week. Fans of the OVO R&B singer got a new album from him over the weekend. It was his first project since 2020’s PARTYMOBILE and his first new entry in his self-titled PND series since 2016. Songs like “R e s e n t m e n t” and “H e r O l d F r i e n d s” that dropped in advance of the album are already racking up millions of streams. The album will make its debut on the Billboard 200 later this week.
Now fans who are loving his new music will get the chance to see him perform live later this year. Earlier this week he announced that he was taking off on a tour. It’s called the “Sorry I’m Outside” tour and while it didn’t have dates confirmed right away, it didn’t take long. The 24-date tour includes a number of American and Canadian cities and numerous festival stops. He’ll play sets at Cowboys Music Festival, Broccoli City Festival, and Afro Nation Detroit in the next few months. Check out the tour announcement and full lineup of shows below.
PND’s new album has been getting quite a lot of love from fans since it dropped. Many have praised its sensual ambitions and catchy songwriting online. What do you think of PARTYNEXTDOOR announcing his tour dates for this year’s “Sorry I’m Outside” tour? Do you plan on seeing him perform anywhere this year? Let us know in the comment section below.
Tour Dates: 06/19 – Phoenix, AZ @ The Van Buren 06/21 – San Diego, CA @ SOMA 06/23 – Las Vegas, NV @ LIV Nightclub Las Vegas 06/27 – Los Angeles, CA @ Hollywood Palladium 07/1 – Oakland, CA @ The Fox Theater 07/3 – Seattle, WA @ The Paramount Theatre 07/5 – Vancouver, BC @ PNE Forum 07/7 – Calgary, AB @ Cowboys Music Festival 07/9 – Edmonton, AB @ Midway Music Hall 07/12 – Denver, CO @ Fillmore Auditorium 07/14 – Dallas, TX @ South Side Ballroom 07/15 – Houston, TX @ Bayou Music Center 07/18 – Atlanta, GA @ Coca-Cola Roxy 07/20 – Miami, FL @ Fillmore Miami Beach 07/23 – Orlando, FL @ House of Blues 07/25 – Charlotte, NC @ The Fillmore 07/27 – Washington, D.C. @ Broccoli City Festival 07/30 – Boston, MA @ House of Blues 08/6 – Montreal, QC @ MTELUS 08/8 – Brooklyn, NY @ Brooklyn Paramount 08/11 – Wallingford, CT @ The Dome at Toyota Oakdale Theatre 08/13 – Philadelphia, PA -@The Fillmore 08/15 – Chicago, IL @ The Salt Shed 08/18 – Detroit, MI @ Afro Nation Detroit
PARTYNEXTDOOR is riding high right now. The singer’s new album, P4, has been well-received by fans, with many praising the production and sticky melodies. It’s a comeback of sorts for PND, given how quiet he’s been during the first half of the 2020s. Thankfully, he’s seizing the moment. The OVO vet gave fans exactly what they wanted on April 29 when he announced that he will be going on tour during the second half of the year. The tour, titled “Sorry I’m Outside,” came with an appropriately moody trailer.
The trailer, which runs just under 50 seconds, matches the aesthetic of PND’s new album. It’s a montage of images and moments mashing up PND’s recording sessions in Hollywood with life in Toronto. We even see the Hollywood sign get replaced, at one point, by the title for lead single “Real Woman.” The swirling editing then shows a crowd of people chanting the chorus of the DMX classic “Party Up (Up In Here).” It doesn’t provide any dates, but PND confirmed that they would be revealed on April 30 via Instagram. As far as teasers go, this one was pretty effective.
PARTYNEXTDOOR is notorious for being a shy artist, but he has been pushing himself to perform more. His nonexistent touring schedule post-pandemic has increased gradually to include stops at Rolling Loud California, Souled Out in Australia and SXSS in Texas. His manager, Tyler Henry, talked about the pointed decision to increase the singer’s number of performances during a March profile with Billboard. “We like to do a few each year to make sure we’re fresh and in front of people’s minds,” he explained. “It keeps us sharp for when a moment like this album comes.”
PARTYNEXTDOOR has said that P4 is his most focused album yet. “This is the hardest I’ve ever worked on an album. This is the proudest I’ve felt,” he told the outlet. “I’m excited to grind even more for the next [one]. I’m in love with how hard you should work for it.” It’s safe to assume the hard work that went into the album will also make its way into the tour. Drake might even take a break from beefing with the hip-hop world to make a surprise appearance during the Toronto stop.
Earlier this year, ScHoolboy Q released his first new album in 5 years. He led off what’s expected to be a massive 2024 for his label Top Dawg Entertainment with the critically acclaimed Blue Lips. The album featured guest spots from Freddie Gibbs, Rico Nasty, Ab-Soul, and more. It almost had an even more stacked cast but a planned collaboration with A$AP Rocky fell through. Now fans of the record will get a chance to see him perform the songs live for the first time this summer.
ScHoolboy Q announced a new tour, but it isn’t quite like the kind of tours most artists go on. Instead of playing a tightly packed series of shows in quick succession, he’s going on a “weekends” tour. He’s playing either two or three shows across a weekend for five straight weekends in July and August. The 11-show tour will hit numerous American cities as well as Toronto. Check out the full list of dates and locations below. Also check out the announcement Q shared to Twitter revealing the tour to fans.
Earlier this month, ScHoolboy Q was drumming up hype for another new album that’s hopefully dropping in 2024. He tweeted about getting a sneak preview of Vince Staples new record and had high praise for the record. Specifically, he said he couldn’t wait to hear the album again though it’s unclear at the moment when fans may get the chance to hear it themselves.
ScHoolboy Q also stopped by for a special new episode of Kenny Beats’ “The Cave” series. He delivered a verse that had fans stunned as the most recent in a line of major MCs to step into the studio. What do you think of ScHoolboy Q’s tour approach to only playing shows on the weekend? Do you think you’ll be attending any of the stops on his upcoming Blue Lips weekends tour? Let us know in the comment section below.
Pitbull and T-Pain dominated the 2000s. It was tough to go more than a few minutes on the radio without hearing their voices on hits like “Hotel Room Service” and “Buy U A Drank.” Both artists symbolize good times in a club setting, whether they were the main artist or the feature, so it makes perfect sense that they’d join forces for the upcoming “Party After Dark Tour.” The North American tour will kick off August 21 in Virginia, and culminate October 5 in New Mexico.
Pitbull and T-Pain hyped up the tour on their respective social media accounts. “Get ready! I’m heading your way for the #PartyAfterDarkTour w/ special guest @TPAIN,” the former wrote on Instagram. “Tix on sale Friday at 10am. Daleeee.” T-Pain, meanwhile, tweeted: “HEY BABY GIRL WHATCHU DOING THIS FALL??? I’m going back on the road with my brother @pitbull.” If the sight of these two aughts icons wasn’t enough to delight fans, specific dates on the tour will also feature appearances from Lil Jon. These specific dates include stops in Washington and California.
Pitbull and T-Pain have a brief but impressive track record. They scored a massive hit out the gate with 2011’s “Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor),” which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. They followed it up with “Shake Senora,” then took a decade break before reuniting for “Lit In the City” last year. Both artists have continued to tour, but Pitbull did stir up controversy during a 2021 show in which he attacked critics of the United States. “To whoever the f**k doesn’t like the United States of America,” he said onstage. “May God bless you, but f**k you at the same time. He later said he credited his huge success to living in the U.S. and therefore felt very passionate about the country.
That was then, however. Pitbull is back to making people dance, because that’s what he enjoys the most at the end of the day. He reflected on his “party rapper” status during an interview with the San Diego Tribune. “They always looking at Pitbull like, ‘Oh, he’s just the party guy. He’s just making these club anthems’,” he noted. “[I] put these records out because I knew that people would enjoy them and it could feed their wild side.” This “wild side” is exactly what Pitbull and T-Pain will be feeding on tour.
NLE Choppa is no stranger to his fans thirsting over him. In fact, one of his biggest hits “SLUT ME OUT” recently got a single that is essentially all about how attractive he is to his fans. “SLUT ME OUT 2” dropped earlier this month and featured hilariously raunchy bars over a hard-hitting beat. He followed it up with an equally NSFW bathtub photo shoot just a few days later. For the pictures he recreated a classic image of 2pac.
That’s why it isn’t all that surprising that fans are showing their attraction to Choppa in one of the only ways they can. Fans have been throwing bras on stage for years but it went particularly viral last year during Drake’s “It’s All A Blur” tour. That came from one hilarious moment when he couldn’t believe the size of a bra thrown at him on stage. Now in a new Instagram post, NLE Choppa is showing off some of the bras he’s collected on his current tour. He shared a video to Instagram laying on a floor surrounded by dozens of bras. “Nothing To See Here Just Me Collecting Bra’s For #SLUTSZN” his caption reads. Check out his hilarious new post below.
Earlier this month, NLE Choppa thanked one particular group for their embrace of the new single. In a tweet, he shouted out his LGBTQ fans for their support of him and the new single. He even took the opportunity to defend himself against some of the haters who emerged in the comments. He reserved the right to thank anyone whom he felt was showing him love. The post did cause him to have to eventually circle back around and clarify his own sexuality a few days later.
What do you think of NLE Choppa’s new video posing with all the bras that have been thrown at him on stage during his new tour? Do you like his raunchy new single “SLUT ME OUT 2?” Let us know in the comment section below.
