Lil Kim Joins Latto Onstage In NYC: Watch

Latto is currently making her way around the U.S. on a tour in support of her new album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The Atlanta hitmaker has been joined by Mariah The Scientist and KARRAHBOOO throughout the trek so far, and recently, she surprised fans with some additional exciting special guests. During her stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center yesterday (October 31), she brought out two native New Yorkers, Lil Kim and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

From the look of things, the crowd was feeling the performance, and there’s fortunately more to come. Latto’s “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” tour is set to run into December with upcoming shows in Boston, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, and more.

Latto Performs At Barclays Center With Lil Kim & A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

While Latto’s tour seems to be a tremendous success so far, it didn’t exactly start with a bang. The femcee took to social media shortly after her first performance in Tampa and made it clear she wasn’t happy. She also claimed she’d be confronting various members of her crew about how the show went. “Show was a hot mess,” Latto began at the time. “Could’ve been worse. But, hey baby, what can you do. I did my job.”

“I did my job,” she also added. “[The] lighting [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] video [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] wardrobe [team is] getting cussed out.” Luckily for Latto, it doesn’t appear as though fans had any complaints, and she has plenty of shows left to execute exactly the way she’d like. What do you think of Latto inviting various special guests to join her onstage for her Sugar Honey Iced Tea tour stop in Brooklyn? Who do you hope she brings out next? Latto Threatens To Cuss Out Her Crew After First Night Of Tour Was A “Hot Mess”

This weekend, Latto kicked off her eagerly anticipated tour in support of her third studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The 22-date trek began in Tampa with Mariah The Scientist and KARRAHBOOO, and as expected, fans had a blast. Unfortunately, however, it doesn’t appear as though Latto is pleased with how her first night went. Shortly after her performance, she hopped online to give her review, making it clear that it wasn’t what she expected.

“Show was a hot mess,” Latto began. “Could’ve been worse. But, hey baby, what can you do. I did my job.” She continued, revealing that she plans to speak to various members of her crew, who will surely know what went wrong sooner rather than later.

Latto Claims First Night Of Her “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” Tour Didn’t Go As Planned

“I did my job,” she explained. “[The] lighting [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] video [crew is] getting cussed out. [The] wardrobe [team is] getting cussed out.” Hopefully, Latto and her team will be able to iron out some of these issues as the tour continues. Her next performance is currently scheduled for tomorrow (October 27) in Tennessee at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

Luckily, it appears as though Latto’s fans at least enjoyed themselves. The “Georgia Peach” rapper took to her Instagram Story shortly after the show to show off some of the gifts her supporters brought her. She even shared a photo of a small teddy bear hilariously wearing a “Big Mama Better” t-shirt. “Thank you Tampa [heart emoji],” she captioned it. Killer Mike & Dave Chappelle Team Up For “Still Talkin That Sh*t” Tour

It’s been a big year for both Killer Mike and Dave Chappelle. Now, they’ve announced that they’re teaming up for something exciting later this year. Earlier today, the rapper took to social media to unveil dates for their upcoming “Still Talkin That Sh*t” tour. “Took my N***a @davechappelle to the @blueflamelounge, after the good times he hugs me and says ‘We should go on tour!’ BOOM,” he captioned the post. It’s set to kick off in November with a show in Detroit. It will also feature stops in Atlanta, Rosemont, Boston, NYC, Oakland, and Long Beach.

The tour is billed as a “fusion of music and comedy across a joint set,” and will also feature Killer Mike’s Mighty Midnight Revival gospel group. Brooklyn Vegan reports that all shows will be phone-free, and will require attendees to store their electronic devices in Yondr pouches. Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 25).

Killer Mike & Dave Chappelle To Kick Off Tour In November 2024

This isn’t the first time Killer Mike and Dave Chappelle have collaborated, however. The comedian is featured on Killer Mike’s track “Run” alongside Young Thug, which appears on his Grammy-winning album Michael. Killer Mike also appeared on Chappelle’s Show back in 2008.

The announcement comes shortly after Chappelle inducted A Tribe Called Quest into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He delivered a touching speech in which he reflected on how the group helped him during his hiatus from Hollywood. “Years ago, in a tough time in my life, I read a Chinese proverb that changed my life. And the proverb said that the best meal you can cook is made with ingredients that you already have,” he explained. “And this proverb reminds me of hip-hop, and this proverb reminds me, in particular, of Tribe because Tribe was born out of friendship.” What do you think of Killer Mike and Dave Chappelle announcing a co-headlining tour? Justin Timberlake Postponed A Show Due To Injury And Fans Are Fuming

Justin Timberlake has seen brighter days. The critical reception to his last album, Everything I Thought It Was, was tepid. The sales? Well, less than he probably thought it would be. Timberlake’s current tour has been defined, however, by the DUI arrest that occurred in July. The fallout from the arrest, and the quote that the singer made about the arrest ruining the tour, added fuel to the fire when it came to him being roasted online. Unfortunately, the bad breaks have continued. Justin Timberlake canceled a show the day it was scheduled, and fans cannot believe it.

Justin Timberlake broke the news on Instagram. The message is vague as to what occurred behind the scenes, but it made it very clear that the singer was “disappointed” with the postponement. “I have an injury that is preventing me from performing,” Timberlake wrote. “I’m so disappointed to not see you all.” He made it clear that he was “working” to reschedule the show, which was going to be in Newark, New Jersey. The pop superstar promised to make it up to the fans. They did not seem to go for it.

Justin Timberlake Promised To Reschedule The Show

The details of Justin Timberlake’s injury have been kept under wraps. TMZ does report, however, that a doctor was present at the venue to examine the singer, and it’s believed that the injury was sustained to his ankle. This is not the first time that Timberlake has had to contend with knee and leg injuries. He was sidelined during the making of the film In Time back in 2011. The singer and sometimes actor was filming a scene in which he had to perform a stunt, and wound up hurting his calf. “Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set,” Fox said in a statement. JT also broke his thumb when he was still in N*SYNC.

Fans have flooded with social media to complain about the timing of Justin Timberlake’s announcement. Many feel the singer should have made the announcement much earlier, since the show was set to begin mere hours before. Many lamented the fact that they were already dressed to go out. Or worse, already in line and waiting to get a good spot at the New Jersey venue. “30 minutes before doors?,” one furious fan noted. Another threw a lyric from one of JT’s biggest songs back in his face: “Cry me a river.” Check out some of the frustrated reactions below.

The performer explained to his followers that he’s been dealing with an unspecified health issue, which he sought a professional opinion on in Houston earlier this week. Unfortunately, he learned that the issue was serious enough that he had to cancel that night’s show. Upon further analysis, he realized he wouldn’t be able to complete the rest of the tour.

“After my show in New Orleans, I went to the hospital in Houston to make sure of an ailment that had become apparent,” he wrote. “After being assesed, it became clear i would not perform that night, and after more tests, i could not perform the rest of the US tour in the time asked. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. I want nothing more than to bring this show to the fans and perform. Until then, thanks for love, privacy, and support.” Fans are wishing the hitmaker a speedy recovery, and commending him for putting his health first.

Childish Gambino’s announcement arrived just a few weeks after he postponed the remainder of the tour. That week, he told the Wall Street Journal that fans would get the “best live show” they’d ever seen. He even promised their money back if it didn’t live up to their expectations. Hopefully, he’ll be able to heal and get back on the road as soon as he’d like to. What do you think of Childish Gambino announcing that he has to get surgery for an unspecified ailment? Childish Gambino Promises Fans “Best Live Show” They’ve Ever Seen Or Their Money Back

Last month, Childish Gambino kicked off a tour in support of his last album under his moniker, Bando Stone and The New World. It was initially expected to wrap up in October of this year, but it’s since seen some delays. Earlier this week, the performer took to Twitter/X to announce that he’d be postponing the remainder of the tour.

“Hey everyone. unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks. hold onto your tickets. ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love,” he wrote.

This means that fans will have to wait a bit longer to see him in select cities. According to him, however, it’ll be well worth the wait. During a recent interview with Wall Street Journal, he even promised ticket buyers their money back if they’re not satisfied with the show. According to him, he realizes that tickets are pricey, and doesn’t take his fans’ support for granted. “I do not take it lightly that people spend hundreds of dollars to see me. I know that’s a lot of money, especially now, when everyone’s broke, everything’s too expensive. If this isn’t the best live show you’ve ever seen, after the first song you can literally leave and get your money back,” he told the outlet.

What about him postponing the remainder of his North American performances so he can focus on his physical health? Big Boi Is Furious After A Woman Mistakes Him & Sleepy Brown For “Migrants” While On Tour

As two of the best Atlanta-based artists of the past 35 years or so, it’s hard to not know who Big Boi and Sleepy Brown are. They’re currently on tour with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and a recent interaction in California had André 3000’s enduring partner feeling very confused. “We’re on the tour bus in Cali right…” he tweeted on Tuesday (September 3). “we stopped for breakfast… why this lady ask sleepy brown  ‘Are ya’ll migrants being dropped off ‘ …Bish What ?” We can’t explain why this woman characterized these Dungeon Family members as that, but we can’t imagine that such a comment landed particularly well with either musician.

Elsewhere, Big Boi is reflecting on this Dungeon history by recently mourning the loss of one of its pillars: Rico Wade. “This is a different type of hurt ….” he wrote in an Instagram tribute post to the producer and curator that was so instrumental to the collective’s sound, success, and story. “Slick Ricky Wade .. I know you’re with us STILL … in a bigger role now… Big Angel Energy… the Highest of Vibrations … Praise Yah .#RicoWade #DungeonFamily #WeDF.”

Big Boi Can’t Believe A Woman Thought He & Sleepy Brown Were “Migrants”

As far as other Outkast news, André 3000 and Big Boi recently sued the EDM duo ATLiens for copyright infringement due to their name’s use of a term the rap duo coined on their 1996 album. “Defendant also advertises, offers for sale and sells products to consumers in this state and in this District though its interactive website, including merchandise bearing the ATLIENS mark,” the lawsuit reportedly reads. “The word ATLIENS was invented by Outkast. Before Outkast created it, it [did not exist] in the cultural lexicon.”

Meanwhile, if you were hoping for a reunion album… Well, you probably already know the answer. “People ask, ‘So, will there be another Outkast album?’” André 3000 recently posited. “I really can’t say, man. I do realize that our chemistries have changed. We’re different people. We’re totally different people. Not to say that we won’t be able to make any kind of music, but I think, yeah, people have to realize, like, even in relationships, man… chemistry should change after a while. And I think people think there’s this one thing that has to stay a way, but we are ever-changing, man. You know, people always ask about me and Big Boi. We cool, man. That’s my homie forever. We were friends before doing music.”

Usher Kicks Off Anticipated Tour After Suffering Serious Neck Injury

Usher was born to perform. Few artists have managed to rival the electricity of prime Michael Jackson. Usher, however, has managed to do so for multiple decades. Fans were absolutely thrilled to discover that Usher was planning a “Past, Present, Future” tour that would incorporate his iconic hits. A neck injury seemed as though it would derail the singer’s tour plans, but he bounced back. Usher made sure the fans got what they wanted, and kicked off his tour this week in Washington, D.C.

TMZ confirmed that Usher put on stellar shows on both Tuesday and Wednesday at the Capital One Arena. The singer was electric as ever in terms of performance. He also found time to bring out several guest stars including Raheem DeVaughn and Wale. Usher has worked with both artists in the past, and their D.C. roots made them a natural inclusion. There was some initial concern that Usher would have to postpone his tour for several weeks due to the severity of his injury. He broke the news regarding the injury on Instagram on August 15. “Earlier this week, I suffered an injury to my neck,” he wrote. “While rehearsing to provide my fans with the greatest Usher show of all time.”

The singer also informed fans that he would have to miss the first week of shows he had scheduled. Shows that were set to be in the singer’s hometown of Atlanta. He was disappointed, but maintained that his doctors told him to rest up. “The injury has not healed yet, and my doctors have instructed me not to perform any shows this week,” he continued. “The good news is that the doctors are saying that with appropriate rest and treatment, I should be ready to commence the tour on August 20.” To the singer’s credit, he did just that. He made good on his word, and gave the D.C. crowd two stellar shows.

Fans who missed the first week of shows needn’t worry. TMZ reports that Usher will make up the ATL leg of his tour in December. The singer noted his Instagram post by reminding fans that he takes performing very seriously. He will whatever necessary to provide attendees with the best possible show. “I love my fans,” he wrote. “Thank you for understanding that this injury must be healed so that I can give you the 100% excellence that you expect from an Usher show and that I will be on stage in your city very soon.” Usher’s “Past, Present, Future” tour is slated run through 2025.

Nicki Minaj Prepares To Embark On “Gag City Reloaded” Tour

It’s already been a busy year for Nicki Minaj, and fortunately for the Barbz, it doesn’t look like she plans on slowing down anytime soon. Earlier this week, she shared a photo of some dates for yet another leg of her tour in support of Pink Friday 2, which she’s called “Gag City Reloaded.” She’s scheduled to kick things off with a performance in Philadelphia at the beginning of September. Nicki will hit cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, NYC, Miami, and more before wrapping it up in October.

The first leg was a major success, so fans certainly can’t blame her for adding another. Nicki became the first rapper to sell out each and every arena on her tour. She also invited several special guests to join her onstage, including Drake, 2 Chainz, 50 Cent, and more.

Nicki Minaj Fans Can’t Wait For Second Leg Of Tour

With that being said, the second leg of the tour is sure to be just as memorable, due in part to Nicki’s fiercely loyal fanbase. The Barbz never fail to come out to support the “FTCU” performer at her shows, or to come to her defense amid criticism. Earlier this month, for example, one of her rumored opps Latto felt their wrath over a seemingly shady interview remark.

During a chat with Complex, the “Big Mama” artist was asked who the GOAT female rapper is. She said Lil’ Kim, giving the hitmaker her flowers for her contributions to hip hop. Some fans felt slighted by her answer, however, and thought she shouldn’t given credit where it was due by naming Nicki instead. What do you think of Nicki Minaj preparing for “Gag City Reloaded”? Are you looking forward to it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Wale Rolls Out “Every Blue Moon” Tour Dates With A Brand New Song

Wale is back. The D.C. rapper has unveiled the Every Blue Moon Tour, which will launch in September and run throughout November. Wale made the announcement in style, dropping a video in which he stands in front of, you guessed it, a blue moon. The rapper also previewed an instrumental from a brand new song. No title is provided, and Wale doesn’t let us hear the chorus, but it’s safe to assume the song will land on his upcoming eighth album. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 16.

Wale’s tour announcement is a bigger deal than it might initially seem. The rapper has been out of the spotlight for quite some time. His last album was Folarin’ II in 2021, and he hasn’t dropped many guest verses in the years since. There were several reasons why. For one, Wale claimed to have suffered some lingering effects from his 2020 bout with COVID. “That sh*t is real,” he told the Breakfast Club. “It feels like you smoked too much. For me, because I have legitimate issues with anxiety and stuff, everything was heightened.” He also noted that his introverted nature led to him getting off social media for over a year.

Wale Will Celebrate The Anniversary Of His Debut Album

The Every Blue Moon Tour is going to be a special one for both the rapper and his fans. Not only will it give Wale a chance to promote his upcoming album, but it will be a celebration of his 2009 debut album, Attention Deficit. Live Nation reported that the rapper will be performing select songs from the album as a means of commemorating the fifteenth anniversary of its release. Wale’s feelings toward the album has changed significantly over the years. Attention Deficit underperformed commercially, and the rapper felt as though his music suffered as a result of him trying to go “mainstream.” He eventually made peace with the album and its place in his catalog.

“I think the music business was in such a polarizing state at that point,” Wale told the Washington Post in 2019. He now considers Attention Deficit to be a better and bolder album than its reputation suggests. “Songs like ‘90210,’ ‘Pretty Girls’ — I was one of the first people to put Gucci Mane on an album at the time,” the rapper noted. “That was different, especially as a new artist coming with an actual go-go sample. Wale told the outlet that he was eventually able to separate the album’s quality from its poor sales. “I honestly don’t think about it that much anymore,” he noted. “I kind of just bury it.”
