Flo Milli Refuses To Feel Insecure About Her Skin Tone

Flo Milli has had a pretty prolific 2023. She’s released a number of singles under her own name and appeared on even more as a feature. She recently joined Rolling Stone for a new interview where she discussed the new music she’s released recently, what she has coming next on her new album, and a number of other topics.

One of those topics was the attempts that those online make to prey on her insecurities. She identified colorism as one of the main critiques she faces online, but it doesn’t phase her. “They want me to be insecure about my skin tone, which is never going to happen,” she said. “I want people to understand everybody does not hate themselves. I think I’m a bad b*tch, and there’s nothing you could say that’s going to make me think otherwise. So please stop.” She also clarified that she’s over being compared to other artists. “I was also telling them to stop using my name to degrade other people. I want y’all to support me, but don’t try to bring another woman down in the process because that don’t make me feel good.” Check out the full interview below.

Flo Milli Doesn’t Like Being Compared To Other Artists

September has been full of big news for Flo Milli. After announcing her new album last month, she also announced a tour in support of it a few weeks ago. Milli and Maiya The Don are taking off on a 16-date North American tour starting in October. Tickets for the entire tour are on sale now.

For those hoping to hear a new album from Flo Milli on tour, it’s still unclear when exactly the project will be released. Earlier this month she dropped her newest single “Chocolate Rain.” It’s the first single this year that she’s officially confirmed will be appearing on her new album. Drake Labels Himself A “Hate Survivor” In IG Post Showing Tour’s Success

As one of the biggest artists in the world, Drake is no stranger to haters in his life and career, and has surpassed all their expectations. Moreover, he briefly remarked on the amount of criticism thrown his way in his latest IG post. The Toronto MC recapped some wild snaps from his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, including one with his recent special guest French Montana. “I am a Hate Survivor,” he declared in the post’s caption, and it’s fitting for such an opulent set of pictures. With all the success, conversation, and praise that Drizzy’s been drumming up as of late, the hate feels nonexistent.

However, anyone familiar with the OVO mogul’s career knows that the haters have always been there. From his early days fusing rap, R&B, and pop, many refused to take him seriously in the hip-hop game despite his high profile and co-signs. Further into Drake’s career, discussion often centers around his discography, which many fans believe took a big dip after 2016 or so. Either way, neither train will stop: the 36-year-old will keep dominating, and the haters will keep making their points.

Drake Is A “Hate Survivor,” He Claims

Still, a recent situation also shows how Drake often gets some backlash for his music, actions, or otherwise. For example, Halle Berry recently blasted him for not honoring her denial of his request to use a slimed-up picture of hers as promotional art for his new SZA-assisted single “Slime You Out.” Sure, the 6 God didn’t end up using that cover on streaming services, but it still spread around the media like wildfire. As such, it’s understandable that it still feels like an official cover for the actress, even if technicalities get in the way.

Meanwhile, with For All The Dogs soon to come, many fans hope that this will be a killer release that silences the doubters. It’s clear that he’s always in that zone regardless of what he’s putting out, whether from a commercial or artistic standpoint. What’s often left up to debate is whether he succeeds, and since he’s still one of the biggest artists in the world, it’s hard to deny that victory. Yung Bleu Cancels The Rest Of His Tour Following Boosie Beef

Yung Bleu has announced that he’s canceling the remaining dates of his Love Scars tour. After performing fewer than half of the originally scheduled 17 dates, he took to social media to say that he has unfinished business back home. The artist known for hits like “You’re Mines Still” has garnered recent attention on social media due to a couple of public disputes. First, his wife aired their issues after a Philadelphia woman revealed that Bleu had flown her out, prompting Bleu to issue an apology to his spouse. Then, an ongoing feud with Boosie Badazz resurfaced regarding contract disputes. Earlier this week, fans began reporting the cancellation of upcoming show dates.

“Words can’t explain how I feel about the remainder of this tour being canceled,” Bleu began in an Instagram caption. “I sincerely apologize to every fan I disappointed. When things like this happen the only person to blame is ‘the artist’ so I accept it. I won’t make excuses. I was honestly having so much fun wasn’t ready to go home.” “A man cannot do anything if his house is not in order, he continued. “With that said, I will be back to give FREE shows to every city we missed. My team is working around the clock to make this happen. Once again I appreciate you all and I hope I didn’t lose any fans in the process.” He concluded by saying, “I’ll be taking a break from social media to tap back into the best version of me! My family deserves that! See y’all soon and thank you.”

Yung Bleu Issues Apology To Fans In An Instagram Post

Bleu was initially set to perform in Richmond, VA, and Philadelphia, PA, on September 9 and 12, respectively. However, fans noticed earlier in the week that they were unable to access their tickets. Then, on the day the Philadelphia show was scheduled to take place, Yung Bleu finally provided an update, confirming the cancellation of the remaining tour dates.

The Alabama native explained that his top priority is restoring order to his home and family life. He further revealed his intention to distance himself from social media and focus on his mental well-being. Fans in the comments had mixed opinions. While some were understanding and encouraged him to “take care of his family,” others were understandably disappointed. One fan commented, “I put my PTO in for absolutely nothing, I’m pissed Bleu get your house in order!”

Rod Wave Will Embark On “Nostalgia” Arena Tour With Very Special Guests

When it comes to contemporary soul-rap, few names etched the genre into the history books as significantly as Rod Wave. While the Florida rapper and singer does well in both genres, it’s when he fuses them together that it makes for some compelling material for listeners, creating a passionate fanbase. That group must be quite excited right now, what with recent singles like “Come See Me” leading up to his next album Nostalgia, which drops this Friday (September 15). To top it all off, Wave recently announced an arena tour in support of the release to take place later this year, and its supporting cast also reflects his style-fusing artistry.

Moreover, Ari Lennox, G Herbo, and Eelmatic will also perform during the Nostalgia tour, whose trek begins on October 19 of this year at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. What’s more is that Toosii will also join them, who’s already toured with Rod Wave. If you want to catch these shows, presale tickets go live on Tuesday (September 12) at 10am local time. General tickets will be available on Thursday (September 14) at the same time, and you can find them on the artist’s official website. Check out all the tour’s dates in the tweet below.

Rod Wave’s Nostalgia Arena Tour 2023 With Ari Lennox, Toosii, G Herbo & Eelmatic

Unfortunately, the huge success that the 25-year-old found over recent years, and that propelled him to this arena tour, came with its fair share of problems and roadblocks. One difficult part for every artist to reckon with is their relationship with the media, or rather how the media paints them. Recently, he took to his Instagram Story to give some brief but frustrated words on the subject. “fame s**t l*me,” Rod Wave wrote. “square a** blog n***as even worse. Anybody can say your name how they want to, and a blog site jus gone spread it to da world. and ppl believe it. s**t not fair. don’t even care who y’all hurt wit dat s**t.”

Meanwhile, it must feel a lot better to directly connect with fans rather than through the media middle man. As such, given how much he tours to begin with, we’re sure that this team of talent will enjoy their trek as much as possible. All that’s left now is to wait and see what Friday’s Nostalgia holds in store. Once again, check out the tour dates above and come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Rod Wave.

Drake & 21 Savage Reportedly Going On Summer Tour, “It’s All A Blur”

Drake and 21 Savage will reportedly go on a summer tour together, allegedly titled “It’s All A Blur.” Moreover, the alleged leaks came from Twitter account OnThinIce, which is know to leak similar information. The two rappers had an incredible 2022 together, and rumors of a tour followed them since they dropped their album together.

Furthermore, Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss was one of last year’s most celebrated and discussed hip-hop albums. As such, these new rumors of a tour should be sending fans over the moon. However, this is still unconfirmed information circling in the social media rounds. If we’re to entertain these thoughts, audiences can expect a run from at least late May to mid-July.

Moreover, the cities listed by the leaks include Chicago, Detroit, Glendale, Foxborough, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Miami, Atlanta, Inglewood, Las Vegas, and more. The first show is reportedly scheduled for May 26th at Chicago’s Grand Chapiteau at Solider Field. Later, the tour will seemingly end July 16th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Meanwhile, many fans are somewhat disappointed with these leaks. “WHERE TF ARE THE REST OF THE DATES,” one user wrote. However, we have to consider that these are still rumors at the moment. If they really are going on tour, an official announcement should be coming soon. After all, it’s going to be tough to get tickets to see the 6 God, who just shut it down at the Apollo Theater.

Even though these rumors may end up being just that, there’s still plenty of promo underway for these two. Drake recently dropped his video for “Jumbotron S**t Poppin,” whereas 21 Savage had some standout live performances recently as well. However, he most recently made waves for a heated argument. During a Clubhouse conversation, 21 Savage popped off on a user over a discussion on murder rates in different cities.

Still, what do you think of Drake and 21 Savage reportedly going on a summer tour this year? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, log back into HNHH for the latest rumors, tours, and shows from your favorite MCs.

Westside Gunn Abruptly Cancels European Tour

While the post-pandemic concert scene is raking in big numbers for your favorite artists, not all shows are as lucky. Westside Gunn just abruptly canceled his European tour leg, with thousands of fans left in shock. Moreover, he planned to begin the tour last Friday (January 13th), but he canceled the whole run on Thursday. As one of the best rappers of the year in 2022, many were surely ecstatic to see the Flygod live.

Via Instagram in a since-deleted post, Gunn spoke to supporters and fans and explained the bad news.

“It was nothing more I wanted to do than to start seeing my supporters around the world. It’s def still a dream and I’m gonna work on it immed to still make it happen, unfortunately this time things weren’t handled right and that’s too far for me to be gone.”

Furthermore, the Buffalo rapper said he lost $50K on plane tickets. Also, he said that “something isn’t right and I’m somewhere I’ve never been,” which is vague but might refer to behind-the-scenes logistics. Unfortunately, he clarified that he’s also unable to provide ticket refunds himself, as he never took deposits. “Ppl out of $40 I’m out 50,000 I spent just on plane tickets!!!” he wrote.

“So I lost but GOD IS THE GREATEST and hopefully one day I’ll see everybody who’s reading this one day in life,” he continued. “I’m the number 1 guy for our lane who pushes the culture but if it’s not right we gotta make it right and unfortunately this situation doesn’t have the time to fix.”

Fortunately, some venues have already responded to Gunn’s cancellation with open arms and open minds, despite the frustration. Dublin venue The Sugar Club wrote a message to fans concerning the canceled show.

“We’re currently awaiting an official update from Westside Gunn’s agent on the status of the tour,” they stated. “But we will of course process refunds for all tickets purchased as soon as we have more information. We hope to resolve this by the end of the day.”

Meanwhile, the recently announced rap retiree continued his post with an apology to fans.

“I have somebody working on me coming out soon now and if u ever hear about me coming again from me it’s Valid!!!!” he wrote. “So get those tickets and I promise u I’ll make it up…

“But again to all my supporters I love y’all and if u spent that ticket price your blessings will come back 10fold,” he concluded. “Just know if u don’t get your money back I don’t have it. And again I REPEAT I can’t give u money back I NEVER got paid I’m down 50k of my own money.”
