Young Dolph & Key Glock Return With “Dum And Dummer 2” Joint Project

This 2019 collaboration was a hit and now they’ve returned with the second installment. Key Glock and Young Dolph first released Dum & Dummer pre-COVID-19, so they locked down during the pandemic to create a 20-track project to follow. Dum & Dummer 2 doesn’t host features from other artists as Glock and Dolph hold things down as a duo.

To help hype the project, Dolph uploaded a post to his Instagram page where he launched a contest that can make a handful of fans richer. “*STARTING TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT, THE FIRST PERSON THAT EMAIL ME THE 10,888th WORD THAT IS SAID IN THE LYRICS ON ‘DUM & DUMMER 2’ WINS THE FIRST $25,000.” We won’t keep you from trying to figure out the answer, so stream Key Glock and Young Dolph’s Dum & Dummer 2 and let us know what you think.

YBN Nahmir Drops Off Debut “Visionland” Ft. G Herbo, Ty Dolla $ign, E-40, Too $hort

Fans have been asking YBN Nahmir when he would finally deliver his debut album, and now it has arrived. On Friday (March 26), Nahmir dropped off his formal introductory effort Visionland, and he wasn’t messing around with the number of tracks. At 20 songs, Nahmir hopes that listeners will enjoy varying aspects of his talents, and he called on a few artists to help him on the album. Ty Dolla $ign, G Herbo, DaBoii, G-Eazy, Offset, E-40, Too $hort, and FatBoy SSE all make an appearance.

In a recent interview with GQ, Nahmir spoke about mixing things up on Visionland and including a song where he sings falsetto. “I really didn’t want to put it out too early, because I feel like, you know I rap too much about b*tches and hos and drugs and that kind of thing,” he said. “I felt like [this] would throw that off a little bit, people be like, ‘Damn this n*gga’s a simp.'”

“But, at the end of the day, it’s a cool ass song, I like it – but I don’t love it, you feel me?” he added. “I put it on the album because it’s different. And I know it’s gonna go somewhere. I really don’t usually make songs for the ladies. But I feel like it will make a lot of progress and show people another side of me, too. Like, I can do anything. And it’s a song that a lot of people will relate to, because they simps, just like me, normal people.”

Justin Bieber’s ‘There She Go’ Collab With Lil Uzi Vert Highlights The Deluxe Reissue Of ‘Justice’

After making fans wait more than four years for a new album, Justin Bieber has delivered two full-length efforts in just thirteen months. It began with last February Changes which was followed up by this month’s Justice. While the singer has given fans more than enough music to indulge in for the time being, he isn’t quite done in the release department. Bieber updated Justice with six new songs for the album’s Triple Chucks Deluxe reissue. One of the new additions is “There She Go” with Lil Uzi Vert, a track that Bieber described as record that will “probably be huge on TikTok because it kind of has that feel to it,” in an interview with Vogue.

The deluxe album comes after Bieber made his long-awaited “Red Eye” single available for purchase online. The updated project also finds guest appearances from DaBaby, Quavo, Jaden, and Tori Kelly. Fans had been waiting for an official version of the track since its debut in the singer’s Seasons documentary. He also took over an eerie forest for a performance of “Hold On” which came after he reportedly visited a Los Angeles prison with his pastor to preach about Christianity.

During a recent appearance on DJ Khaled’s The First One podcast, Bieber spoke about the meaning behind his Justice album. “This album is meant to encourage people,” he said. “In the mission statement for the album I talked about how music is such a great way to connect people and bring them together, remind them they are not alone provide that safe space, comforting music to move and groove.” On the show, he also revealed Drake as one of the artists in his list of top five rappers.

Kenny Mason Delivers A Courteous Warning About His Home On The Rock-Leaning ‘Play Ball’ Single

Kenny Mason is undoubtedly one of the more impressive rappers to find their footing in the genre over the past year. The Atlanta native gained increased attention as a result of his attention-grabbing Angelic Hoodrat album. The project captured his impressive lyricism and versatility as an up and coming act, but if you missed out on the project, Mason is giving you another chance to get onboard with the upcoming release of his Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut deluxe album. However, before that arrives, the rapper returns with his latest single, “Play Ball.” Mason takes a big step into the rock lane on the new track as he lays some vocals over the electric guitar-heavy production.

The new track is the third single Mason as released since dropping Angelic Hoodrat last year. It joins “Pups” and “Partments” as songs that will be housed on the upcoming Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut deluxe which arrives on April 16. Complex revealed that the project also boasts features from Freddie Gibbs, Ambar Lucid, and Angel White. Outside of his Angelic Hoodrat album, Mason also found himself besides JID and IDK on DJ Scheme’s “Cereal” track.

Angelic Hoodrat: Supercut is out 4/16.

Lil Nas X Journeys Through Earth And Hell In His ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ Video

Lil Nas X has just brought his fans one step closer to the release of currently untitled debut album. While it’s unknown how many steps remain until the projects arrives, fans can numb the wait by indulging in Lil Nas’ new song and video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” The track is one that the singer has spent nearly nine months promoting on social media. Originally teased as “Call Me By Your Name,” it appeared in numerous TikTok videos that Lil Nas has shared including one that mocked Tekashi 69 for making a tasteless gay joke against him. Paired with a matching music video, Lil Nas brings viewers to his fictional “Montero” world where he gets captured by foreign creatures. He later pole dances down to a fiery pit of hell to take over a throne that awaits him.

While the wait for his upcoming album has certainly been a lengthy one, considering that his record-smashing breakout single, “Old Town Road” was released at the end of 2018, Lil Nas began the year by sharing when his supporters could expect his debut project. In a tweet that came in response to a frustrated fan, he revealed that the project would arrive at some point in the middle of the year. This announcement came after he confirmed the album was complete and even shared a portion of its tracklist which included unreleased songs like “One Of Me,” “Don’t Want It,” and “Titanic.”

Coi Leray & Pooh Shiesty Unite On “Big Purr”

She’s been purring her way through her songs for a while and after much hype surrounding this latest single, Coi Leray finally drops off her “Big Purr” single featuring Pooh Shiesty. Leray has been making waves but it was her last release, “No More Parties,” that found her new success, especially after she added Lil Durk to the remix. This time around, Leray takes her signature sound and makes it a song with the help of Gucci Mane’s artist.

Recently, Leray was embroiled in a bit of tension with social media influencer Rolling Ray. He, too, is known for saying “purr” and he targeted the rapper with claims that she took his phrase and made it into a song. After a brief back and forth, Leray denied his accusations and shared that she’s only focusing on things that will help her elevate, much like her previous lyrics have suggested.

Lil Nas X Drops Anticipated Pop Single “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)”

After breaking several records with “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X has been feeling the pressure for his future projects to match that success. The rapper went from unknown to being one of the most recognized artists in the world, and on Friday (March 26), he adds another single to his growing catalog. On “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name),” you’ll find Lil Nas X occupying the Pop lane as he sings his way through the track, and along with the song comes a trippy, futuristic visual where you’ll find him making out with an alien version of himself.

“MONTERO” is a single that Lil Nas X has kept in the vault for the perfect time. Yesterday, he took to Twitter to share that he “waited 9 months to drop” the track “because it’s my baby.” The singer added that with the release of this latest single, “We will begin a new era! see u guys there.” Stream Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)” and let us know what you think about the track and its visual.

Moneybagg Yo & Future Unite On Smooth Banger “Hard For The Next”

He’s been feeling himself a little bit more ever since Pharrell Williams called him his favorite rapper, and Moneybagg Yo is hoping to continue that praise with his latest single “Hard for the Next.” We previously reported on the news that the Memphis rapper had linked with Future for a smooth new single, and right on time at the top of Friday (March 26), it arrived along with a music video.

The visual stars Ari Fletcher, Moneybagg’s leading lady in real life. The pair have often flaunted their love—and disagreements—for the world to see, but regardless of their criticisms, the pair have made it through. “Hard for the Next” lists all the ways that he’s stepping up to the plate and making things more difficult for the next man who may come his woman’s way, but if things go right, this will be a lifelong love.

Jacob Blake Sues Kenosha Officer Who Shot Him In The Back: Report

He’s still recovering from being shot seven times by a Kenosha police officer in August 2020, and now Jacob Blake wants his day in court. What happened that fateful day has been debated by law enforcement, the media, political pundits, and the public, but according to TMZ, court documents state that Blake refutes claims that he antagonized the situation. Officers were reportedly responding to a domestic dispute call when, according to the lawsuit by Blake, he tried “to walk away from the situation” before he was shot by officer Rusten Sheskey.

Blake contends that he didn’t threaten or make any sudden moves that should have resulted in his near-death experience that occurred right in front of his children. He was also concerned that of the shots fired by Sheskey, one could have gone through his vehicle and injured one of the kids as a bullet was found in his car door. The 29-year-old does admit that “he had a folding knife” in his possession, but Blake claims it wasn’t used in any way that would make the law enforcement officers at the scene believe that he meant them harm. He added that he even dropped the knife on the floor of his vehicle before gunfire rang out behind him.

Following Blake’s hospitalization, he was remanded to a wheelchair after being paralyzed during the ordeal. TMZ reports that Blake has undergone multiple surgeries and attends physical therapy to help with his recovery, but he is still in need of help with everyday tasks and is unable to obtain employment.

Sheskey is accused of exercising excessive force, but it was decided that none of the officers involved in the shooting would be prosecuted for their participation. The Kenosha protests erupted following Jacob Blake’s ordeal where then-17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed two people as he reportedly protected businesses from rioting, even though at the time there were no riots.

It’s unclear the amount Blake is seeking in damages but TMZ states that he’s looking to have a trial by jury.
