J. Cole Fans Express Pure Joy Over “The Off-Season” Release Date

Over the past week, fans have been eagerly awaiting news from J. Cole about a new album. It began with a post from Bas hinting at a new drop from Cole within two weeks before the K.O.D. rapper suggested that The Off-Season was finally complete. With all signs pointing to the project dropping, the rapper took to Twitter to formally announce The Off-Season with the official release date and cover art. “Just know this was years in the making. My new album The Off-Season available everywhere on 5/14,” Cole tweeted.

The announcement of a new album from J. Cole has left fans in excitement, especially since it could arrive a week after the mysterious release from TDE. Though fans have shared theories that Isaiah Rashad could be dropping on Friday, many are hopeful that Kendrick Lamar will be arriving this week. Of course, the false alarm that he would appear on Big Boy’s radio show this morning also sparked further speculation surrounding the release of a new album.

J. Cole’s The Off-Season appears to be part of a bigger plot that he detailed in an Instagram post in late December. The Off-Season is the first of three albums he announced, followed by It’s A Boy and finally, The Fall Off which fans have taken as a possible sign of retirement.

Check out some of the reactions to J. Cole’s album announcement below.

Don Toliver’s ‘What You Need’ Video Is An Unexpected Kind Of Flex

For those of you who’ve been following Don Toliver since his breakout feature on mentor and label-boss Travis Scott’s Astroworld, for the track “Can’t Say,” the Texas rapper is back on the scene today with a brand new video. Following up his own debut album Heaven Or Hell, released in 2020, a year that very well fits that description, Toliver’s “What You Need” video is a Nabil-directed clip that finds him riding in green limos and encountering mystical, glowing plumes of smoke out in the forest. It’s trippy in all the right ways, and the song itself is going to be the lead single off Toliver’s sophomore album, slated for release sometime this summer.

Aside from releasing his debut last year, Don also raised some eyebrows over his kerfuffle with the XXL Freshman cover, an extremely coveted and highly-visible co-sign for rising rappers, which he reportedly turned down in a sense. The magazine’s longtime editor-in-chief told Hot 97’s The Breakfast Club that the young Houston MC basically insisted he’d only pose for the cover photo, and was going to skip all the cyphers, concerts, and freestyles associated with the project. Obviously that didn’t go over well with XXL, but considering Travis Scott took the same route, eschewing the Freshman cover, it seems like Toliver will do just fine anyway. Plus his appearance on Cactus Jack’s Jackboys EP was another boost for his profile, proving Scott’s co-sign might be just as important at this point.

Watch the new video above and look for more info on Toliver’s second album coming soon.

Tiffany Haddish Confesses She Sold Some Of Her Eggs At 21

Tiffany Haddish can make a joke out of anything. The acclaimed funny woman has made a career out of telling jokes, finding the light in every situation. In a recent interview on Daily Pop, Haddish sat down with the host to discuss if there are any children in her future. Expressing she would be interested in adopting children rather than using a surrogate–presumably, to conceive a child with her current boyfriend Common, she dropped a bombshell regarding her past experiences regarding her reproductive system.

Explaining her feelings on adoption over surrogacy, she explained, “I want them to know that I put in the work and I wanted them. I don’t wanna pay nobody to carry my baby neither cus then I have to go through a process of getting myself injections and all that stuff.”

“And I already gave up, here come something anybody don’t know” she preceded before dropping the bombshell revelation.

“When I was 21 I was living, hard on money, so I gave up a bunch of eggs. So who know? I might got some kids out here in these streets,” joked the 41-year-old comedian.

“There might be some Tiffany Haddishes,” said the host, adding on to the joke.

“I doubt it though cus I never got the bonuses,” she clowned again. While the process can be much more emotional for some, it seems Haddish has made complete peace with the decision

The conversation about potentially introducing children into her life may mean she and Common are continuing steadily in their relationship. Considering that, there’s no telling how soon the couple will take the next huge step in their relationship.

New Hitler Docuseries Alleges He Was Into Incest & S&M

There’s not much new information about Adolf Hitler that can still leave the general public pretty flabbergasted considering the historical atrocities he is responsible for. Defying all odds, however, a new documentary series focusing on Adolf Hitler’s sex life claims the criminal Nazi Germany dictator was allegedly into sadomasochism and engaging in sexual acts with his niece.

Hitler’s Secret Sex Life is a Sky History docuseries aimed at exploring the abundance of rumors surrounding Hitler’s sex life. While he presented himself in the world as a celibate man, notably keeping his 14-year relationship with Eva Braun a secret, over the course of the four episodes in the documentary series, historians claim Hitler engaged in voyeurism.

Additional claims made in the documentary include that he had his personal doctor inject him with bull semen to boost his libido and that he had an incestuous relationship with his niece Geli Raubal. Nineteen years younger than the dictator, she committed suicide at his Munich apartment in 1931. The documentary suggests that they had a sexual relationship that lasted as long as six years and Otto Strasser, a former Nazi party member, previously claimed Raubal reported Hitler wanted to perform sexual acts that were, “simply repulsive.”

Apparently, he didn’t just want to have sex with his relatives. He also was an alleged avid engager in S&M acts. “Sado-masochistic practices fit perfectly in with Hitler’s personality,” Australian professor and historian Robert Kaplan explained. “He internalized everything he didn’t like, like the losses in his life, and he projected his rage on everybody. It’s quite feasible that somebody like that would have these sexual practices.”

More claims about the Nazi leader’s sexual preferences include an alleged porn addiction, and one historian in 2016 suggested he may have been into excrement play.

Considering the systems of torture the former dictator was able to inflict on other individuals, the news does not come as a complete shock. Albeit, still pretty disturbing

J. Cole Announces His New Album ‘The Off-Season’s Release Date

Welp, that didn’t last long. No sooner had I hit “publish” on this last post about fans’ speculations than J. Cole announced the release date for his upcoming album, now titled The Off-Season, and shared its cover. The album is due next Friday, May 14. Check out the cover below.

This post is being updated.

J. Cole Reactivated His Twitter Account And Fans Are Convinced He’s Releasing New Music Soon

With just one tweet, J. Cole has validated the hype for his upcoming album in the eyes of many and set social media abuzz with anticipation. Although his Dreamville labelmate Bas teased something coming in two weeks at the end of April, there was always a possibility that the teaser could have been invalid or plans might have changed. However, now that the notoriously social media shy Cole has checked in — even without actually sharing any real information — fans are convinced that the release of his new music is imminent, even though all he wrote was, “Is this thing on?”

Cole, who originally teased a 2020 release date for his new album way back in 2019 at Day N Vegas, pushed back the release as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent shutdown of the live entertainment infrastructure like many other big-name artists. He postponed his Dreamville Festival and went more-or-less into seclusion for most of 2020, popping up to offer a handful of singles, including the ill-advised “Snow On Tha Bluff,” which prompted a tesy back-and-forth between J. Cole and Noname. And while members of Cole’s crew, including Earthgang’s Olu, continued to tease Cole’s upcoming project — tentatively titled The Fall Off — he seemed more interested in chasing his hoop dream than rapping.

However, after a long, uncertain wait, Cole crossed off one item from his list after another, and now, here we are. Perhaps the full album will release, or just the video for “The Off-Season,” but it looks like Cole’s fellow Dreamers are going to be watching his newly reactivated account intently for the foreseeable future.

Lil Nas X Says He’s No Longer ‘Afraid’ Of Alienating His Straight Fans

When Lil Nas X released his internet-breaking “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” he was facing criticism from two sides. Several conservative and religious viewers clutched their pearls at the sight of the musician twerking up on Satan. Another side questioned his queer identity entirely. Prior to coming out, Lil Nas X would have listened to his haters as he used to be concerned about alienating his straight fans, but now, he’s just being his most authentic self.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lil Nas X opened up about the recent controversy surrounding his “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” video. The musician knows that those criticizing him and his music weren’t supporters in the first place. “At first I was really afraid of alienating any of my straight fans,” he said. “But then it was kind of like, if they feel offended, they were never really here for me. They were here for whatever version of myself they made up in their head.”

Another aspect that’s changed for Lil Nas X since his rise to fame is how he’s able to playfully confront haters. When he was first blowing up, the musician would simply block anyone trash-talking him online. But now, he has no problem clapping back:

“I’m very much a chaotic, good person. I almost never want to start shooting at somebody who didn’t bring it to my doorstep, you know? But I kind of live for when somebody tries to get me and I’m ready to throw it back at them tenfold. Do I feel bad about it sometimes? Every now and then, but I feel less bad knowing that I didn’t start it. I try to never throw stones, but if somebody throws one at me, I’m throwing an entire house.”
