Horror film fans have been eating up the latest in the Saw series, Spiral: From The Book of Saw, and it’s all thanks to a change of pace from Chris Rock. The celebrated actor thought it was important to bring just a hint of comedy to the bloody, longrunning series, and he also brought Rap along with him. 21 Savage released his Spiral EP in connection with the film, and Rock recently sat down with Ebro Darden to discuss how that collaboration came to be.
“Sometimes you got to put some music to it to let people know it exists. You know what I mean?” said Rock. “Just to let people know it’s out there. And [21 Savage] was willing to do it. He’s a big fan of ‘Saw.’ He’s a big fan of horror. So we’re like, okay, really? I run everything by my daughters. So I run it by my daughters, my daughters are like, ‘Yo, you got to do it. You got to work with 21 Savage.’ So here we are.”
21 Savage gave his side of the story. “My dude Mike I think. He did the first song. I think he went to the owners of ‘Saw’ and his son is a big fan of me,” said the rapper. “So his son was like, ‘Sh*t. Savage into that type of sh*t.’ Then they made the call and then we met. Then he played the movie. He didn’t tell me who was in the movie. And then he played it and I’m like, ‘Oh hell yeah. You all got Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson here? Yeah, I’m ready to do this. Come on. Let’s do it now.’ I went straight to the studio the same day that we met.”
Fans also received word that 21 is gearing up for another big release this year. “That’s what I’m planning on. That’s what I’m planning on,” he confirmed. “But I like quality work. So, however long that take, it’ll take, but I’m dropping something, for sure.”

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is being hit with yet another lawsuit. For decades, the controversial artist has made headlines over his often odd behavior, but in recent months, Marilyn Manson has faced several sets of accusations from women who have insisted that they were victims of the singer. Many of the women are reportedly former partners or girlfriends of Manson, but on Tuesday (May 18), TMZ reported that a former assistant of the singer has filed a lawsuit against him.
Ashley Walters has filed a suit alleging “sexual assault, battery and harassment,” stating that she first met Manson back in 2010.
He reportedly invited her back to his home in West Hollywood where Walters claims he “requested she take off her top and pinned her on a bed.” She alleges he attempted to kiss her, bit her ear, and tried to get her to touch his genitals. Walters’s story overlaps with Game of Thrones Esmé Bianco, a reported former girlfriend of Manson who lived at his home and is suing him with similar allegations. According to Walters, after Bianco and Manson ended their relationship in 2011, the actress told Walters to leave because Bianco believed the singer “would be dangerous.”
Walters also claims that Manson made disturbing statements that included him allegedly saying he “loves when girls looked like they had just been raped.” She also wrote in her suit that the singer bragged about “getting away with rape” and said he’d like to “kill women he was seeing.” Manson is also accused of using drugs and once he discovered that Walters and Bianco were spending time together, Walters claimed she was fired before being rehired son after. She was once again fired months later but accuses Manson of continuing to “physically and verbally threaten her.”
TMZ reported that Manson’s camp once again denies the accusations of assault.

On Tuesday (May 18), Drizzy made a return to Instagram by sharing several photos that showed him enjoying some leisure activities along with a handful of recognizable faces including LeBron James, Michael B. Jordan, Snowfall’s Damson Idris, and many more.
On one post, Drake penned, “Congrats to my brothers nothing like some Lobos to start your Monday off right.” In another, he added, “Having our way.” Fans have speculated that all of the rubbings of elbows has to do with CLB while others suspect that Drizzy has yet another television or film deal on deck and he’s just ironing out the kinks.
Over the weekend, Drake lent his talents to Nicki Minaj’s “Seeing Green,” a track that found the two rappers reuniting with Lil Wayne on wax once again. The trio’s latest collaboration took over streaming services as it was just one of a handful of new additions to Minaj’s recently released 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty.

Last year proved to be a great year for both Kehlani and viral producer Amorphous. The former shared her sophomore album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t early on in 2020, and it proved a hit, ranking high on critics’ year-end lists. As for Amorphous, the producer became a viral name on social media after sharing a number of DJ mashups that earned him a large fan base, catching the attention of many big names in music. Now, the two acts have come together for their brand new single, “Back Together.”
The track is a summer-ready number, with Amorphous providing a high-spirited beat for Kehlani, who sings about maintaining her independence while avoiding an exclusive. “Need you to know we ain’t gettin’ back together,” she sings on the chorus. “But that doesn’t that we can’t come together.”
Amorphous’ last release came as a feature alongside DJ Khaled and Fat Joe for “Sunshine,” which arrived with a video showing the trio enjoying a party aboard a yacht. As for Kehlani, “Back Together” marks the latest in a string of guest appearances she’s made over the past month, which includes tracks with T-Pain, Pink Sweats, Lil Durk, and more.

The controversial leader has once again become a hot topic across social media platforms after CNN reported that the Trump Organization will now be investigated in a “criminal capacity.” The investigation into the Trump Organization was reportedly first launched in 2019 to determine whether or not it “misled lenders and insurance companies” regarding property values. Authorities also wanted to determine if the company “paid the appropriate taxes.” The former President’s tax returns are also a part of the investigation.
What began as a civil case has been changed and it’s stated that New York Attorney General Letitia James will now be working in partnership with Manhattan’s district attorney’s office. “We have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature,” a spokesman for James told CNN.
“We are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity, along with the Manhattan DA,” he continued. “We have no additional comment.” Trump has previously complained about the investigation, calling himself a political target. There have been repeated calls for Trump to release or share his tax returns and according to CNN, this investigation has found many of Trump’s relatives, including his children, as well as his employees’ records under close scrutiny.

We’ve seen auction blocks rake in millions from selling items such as poems, letters, silverware, vehicles, furniture, and clothing from the rich and famous, but recently, it was six strands of hair that captured the attention of Nirvana fans.
It was back in 1994 when Nirvana icon Kurt Cobain lost his life in a reported suicide—an event that has gone down in conspiracy theory history. As fans worldwide continue to debate whether or not the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” artist was murdered or took his own life, one lucky person has recently purchased a few strands of the late singer’s hair for an exorbitant amount of money.
According to TMZ, six strands of Cobain blond locks were sold by Iconic Auctions for $14,145. The approximately 2.5-inch strands were reportedly snipped as Cobain received a haircut during his 1989 “Bleach” tour. The singer was reportedly getting his hair trimmed by his friend Tessa Osbourne and the winning bidder also took home photos from the meet-up. In the picture, Osbourne poses alongside Cobain while holding his hair in her hand.

There’s a lot more coming from Kenya Barris and it’s causing quite the stir. Black-ish creators have recently announced that the eighth season of the series will be it’s last, but that doesn’t mean that the “ish” train is slowing its engine. We’ve already received the Grown-ish spinoff as well as Mixed-ish, which is also ending after two seasons.
The latest “ish” to be announced is reportedly Brown-ish, a series that Kenya Barris is reportedly creating with the help of Eva Longoria. “Brown-ish is still a concept that is in development, we haven’t rolled out the firm plans around that yet,” ABC Chief Craig Erwich told Deadline. There were also rumors of Old-ish, a series that would be centered on Laurence Fishburne and Jenifer Lewis’s characters. “On old-ish, we have no current plans to make it as a pilot.”
Although Brown-ish is just in development, the very news of the series caused an uproar on social media. Some people complained that the show would only feature White Latinos, while others still haven’t forgiven Longoria for saying during election season, “You saw in Georgia what Black women have done, but Latina women were the real heroines here.”
