Kevin Durant Compares Joe Harris To Steph Curry & Klay Thompson

Kevin Durant has played with some incredible talent over the course of his career. From James Harden to Russell Westbrook to Steph Curry to Klay Thompson, and now, to Kyrie Irving, KD knows what a superstar looks and plays like. Curry and Thompson are two players that he was able to win championships with and as it stands, those two guys are considered to be among the greatest shooters of all time.

On the Nets, Durant is playing with another phenomenal shooter in Joe Harris. Harris has been in the three-point contest and when it comes to his play on the court, he is a certified sniper. While in Twitter Spaces chat with Bansky, KD was asked about Harris and he even compared the player to the likes of Curry and Thompson.

“Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are the best shooters I’ve played with. Joe Harris is definitely right up there, getting there,” Durant said. While KD made note that Harris isn’t quite on their level yet, he is getting close. If you’re Harris, this has to be flattering and if you’re a Nets fan, this is equal parts exciting.

It’s no secret the Nets are stacked this year and if they keep this up into the playoffs, then no one is going to beat them.

“X Moves,” A DMX Song Featuring Bootsy Collins, Hits Streaming Services On The Day Of His Passing

Today, the world lost a legend. Earlier today, DMX’s team revealed that the iconic and history-making artist had died. In a statement released to media outlets, his team wrote, We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days.”

Numerous artists throughout the music industry, as well as several athletes, have offered tributes in honor of the fallen rapper, and now it appears that his label, Cleopatra Records, has also released a new DMX song featuring Bootsy Collins, Steve Howe, and Ian Paice.

Although the timing of its release is eerie, the song was released earlier today prior to the family’s official statement that DMX had passed. The high-spirited single, titled “X Moves,” features DMX attacking the rap/rock song with voracious energy while Parliament-Funkadelic bassist Bootsy Collins,  Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice, and Yes/Asia guitarist Steve Howe contributing to the song’s funky and psychedelic aesthetic.

Regarding the release of “X Moves,” Cleopatra Records founder Brian Perera shared a statement, saying, “As ‘X Moves’ shows, he is still one of the most innovative and original hip-hop artists around. Our hearts go out to all of DMX’s family, friends and supporters.”

While the Hip-Hop community continues to mourn DMX’s passing, at least fans can enjoy another shining example of DMX’s artistry.

Rest in peace, DMX.

Jaden Delivers New Eco-Friendly Shoe With New Balance

Jaden is an artist who has always made sure to speak out about the environment and wants to help our planet for the better. With Global Warming accelerating at a rapid rate, it’s more important than ever before to take care of the planet, and with his New Balance collaboration, Jaden is doing his part to make the world just a bit more sustainable. This is evident in his new sneaker which was unveiled today, called the New Balance Racer Vision ReWorked.

In the images below, you can see the very first colorway of this model which is going to be white and grey with black specks sprinkled throughout. The shoe has a chunky dad-like aesthetic to it which makes sense given this theme is one that has become quite trendy over the past few years. What makes this shoe truly eco-friendly is the fact that the upper is made with 30 percent textile waste from the New Balance factory. This makes for a new Spinnex fiber that truly feels unique. Even the midsole foam has some reusable materials, making this the perfect shoe for environmentalists.

As for the release date, these are dropping on April 22nd which just so happens to be Earth Day. Pairs will be available over at Newbalance.com.

Busta Rhymes & Mariah Carey Connect For “Where I Belong”

Busta Rhyme’s Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God was, in many ways, the culmination of a variety of different roads. Though Busta has yet to indicate that retirement is even the slightest possibility, the project felt climactic in a truly satisfying fashion. Even Busta himself seemed to feel as if an emotional weight had been lifting upon release.

Following the release of his new video from the project — a cinematic affair for the Rick Rock produced and Mariah Carey-assisted “Where I Belong” — there’s a distinct air that things have come full circle. “The past is an animal that chases you forever,” says Busta, as a cinematic voiceover begins. There’s a quick callback to “Call An Ambulance,” a single off It Ain’t Safe No More, the album that first brought Rhymes and Carey together. Next comes an indication — “18 years later” — a call from Trippie Redd, and the proper opening moments of “Where I Belong.”

Circling back to the animated comic book stylings of “I Know What You Want,” this sequel clip is certainly packing a heavy dose of nostalgia for Busta Rhymes fans. Though the twisting cinematic narrative and Samurai-inspired imagery might be a little hard to follow at times, “Where I Belong” remains a visually striking addition to Busta’s extensive collection of music videos. At the center of it all is the chemistry between two longtime friends and collaborators, still making it look effortless after all these years.

Big respect to Busta Rymes for this one.
