Jay-Z’s Alleged Son Passionately Pleads With The Rapper To Take A Paternity Test
Jay-Z’s alleged 31-year-old son, Rymir Satterthwaite, has pleaded with the rapper to take a paternity test, as he continues to claim his late mother, Wanda, told him she allegedly had a brief relationship with Jay in 1992. He spoke about his decade-long legal battle over the allegation during a recent interview with Daily Mail. In doing so, he clarified that he doesn’t want money or fame, but to learn the truth.
“If he is not, why can’t he prove me wrong?” Rymir told the outlet. “Go to the court room and do what everyone else has to do. I can take a no. I can take being embarrassed, I been through a lot. I could take me being embarrassed, I just can’t take him not saying nothing. It is not fair. I am coming to the courts for the truth.”

He added that he doesn’t harbor any ill will towards Jay. “I would never hate Jay-Z, I respect him for everything he did. I have been going through a whole lot for so many years because of this case. Me and my mom and my god mom we have seen the worst in people. Slandering my name saying I want Jay-Z money,” he said. “I am going to fight until I am not here no more. If it takes another 10 years. Another 50. I may take this to the grave with me. But everyone can say I fought this until the end… I am not trying to do this to make anyone seem like a bad person or a bad father.”
Rymir Satterthwaite Calls On Jay-Z To Take Paternity Test
Rymir’s case isn’t the only drama that’s brought Jay-Z into the news in recent weeks. An anonymous woman also accused him and Diddy of allegedly raping her at a party in 2000, when she was just 13 years old. He’s already vehemently denied the allegations and has been locked in a legal battle with the woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, in the time since. Check out Rymir’s full comments on Jay-Z below.

CA Gov. Gavin Newsom Speaks Against Trump Attempting to ‘Politicize’ Wildfires
Even in the face of tragedy, President-Elect Donald Trump is finger-pointing. Hitting Truth Social, Trump blamed California Gov. Gavin Newsom, disrespecting his name by calling him “Newscum,” for the wildfires.
“Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the area that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,” Trump typed. “He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!), but didn’t care about the people of California.
“Now the ultimate price is being paid. I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to FLOW INTO CALIFORNIA! He is the blame for this.”

Newsom responded, standing before a burning fire and highlighting a more important issue.
“People are literally fleeing. People have lost their lives,” Newsome said. “Kids lost their schools, families completely torn asunder, churches burned down. This guy wanted to politicize it…
“I stood next to a President of the United States of America today, and I was proud to be with Joe Biden. And he had the backs of every single person in this community. He didn’t play politics, didn’t try to divide any of us.”

Los Angeles County is engulfed in wildfires, with the largest blaze roaring through the Pacific Palisades. The result is tens of thousands of people under evacuation orders.
According to CNN, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass expects the wildfire conditions to “worsen” throughout Wednesday (Jan. 8) morning. Gov. Gavin Newsome has declared a state of emergency in the area.
Scenes across the county highlight abandoned cars in between Malibu and Santa Monica, which were eventually bulldozed so emergency personnel could make it to combat the fire.
The Palisades fire is burning through areas comparable to five football fields a minute and has already scorched 2,9000 acres. The area is now under an emergency, comparing the winds to a “tornado.”

Fires are also present in the Hurst area, north of the San Fernando Valley, and another in Altadena, dubbed the Eaton fire, eviscerating 1,000 acres in hours.
Adding to the complication, over 200,000 homes and buildings do not have power.
“We came from Huntington Palisades and there were so many homes destroyed along Sunset Boulevard,” KTLA’s Sandra Mitchell reports from the #PalisadesFire. “It just took my breath away.” Live Updates: https://t.co/pAlVjlCqi8 pic.twitter.com/HTNVwOmZjk

Off-duty firefighters are being asked to report their availability to fight the fire. The call for assistance has not been conducted in this manner in two decades. Margaret Stewart, a spokesperson for the department, said, “I’ve got 19 years on and this is the first one that I’ve been involved in. It’s not something that we have to do very often.”
The origin of the fires was aided by a dry “rainy season,” designed explicitly as December through March. There has only been .01 of an inch of rain in LA since Dec. 1. The dry land and exceptionally high winds have assisted in fueling the fire.

Lil Baby’s “My Turn” Named Top Rap Album Of The Century By Billboard, Sparking Debate Online
Lil Baby’s 2020 album, My Turn, landed at No. 8 on Billboard’s new list of the “Top Billboard 200 Albums of the 21st Century,” sparking huge debate online. The ranking positions it as the highest rap project on the list, following behind albums by Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and more artists. As for how Billboard determined its rankings for the list, the publication explains on its website: “Billboard’s Top Billboard 200 Albums of the 21st Century chart reflects performance on weekly Billboard 200 charts dated Jan. 1, 2000, through Dec. 28, 2024. (Titles released prior to mid-1999 are excluded.)”
Fans on social media have been in an uproar about the ranking. “No exaggeration but this one of the worst ranking selections I’ve seen a long time. The same century that gave us Kanye, Lil Wayne, Drake, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent and so on. Yet they select Lil Baby ‘My Turn’ as the biggest rap album of that century? Whoever chose that has minimal Hip Hop knowledge,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another argued: “Kanye and Jay Z didn’t make the list. We say it a lot but this really might be worse list ever put together Beyoncé didn’t make it either.”

Jim Jones Breaks His Silence On 50 Cent’s Informant Allegations
Jim Jones and 50 Cent have been taking part in a bit of playful back and forth on social media in recent days after Fif and Cam’ron called the former out. During an appearance on Cam’s YouTube show Talk With Flee, he and 50 Cent reflected on their late 2000s feud. At one point, Cam’ron even recalled when Capo joined 50 Cent for a show in 2007. He said that while he saw this as betrayal at the time, he was impressed. “When n****s went on stage, I was like, ‘This sh*t is spinning out [of control]. It was a checkmate moment,’” he explained. “I said, ‘This n***a’s devious.’ But I respected it, I liked that sh*t.”
Jones went on to share his side of the story on Justin Laboy’s Respectfully podcast. “Them n***as be on my dick,” he said in part with a laugh. “Them n***as ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo. I did a lot for them n***as in their life, ya heard?” This prompted a quick response from 50 Cent, who took to Instagram to fire back.

Jim Jones Calls 50 Cent A Liar
He shared a photo of Jones posing in front of JAY-Z, Diddy, Fat Joe, and more. “LOL,” he captioned the post. “INDIVIDUAL 1 calling the shots out here, I know you working so please don’t say gangster sh*t to me INDIVIDUAL 1!” This was a reference to rumors that Jones allegedly worked as a federal informant, which stem from 6ix9ine’s racketeering trial. Fif also included a transcript of a phone call, during which Jones allegedly said 6ix9ine “ain’t a gang member no more” and needed to “get violated.”
Jones came through with his own response to this earlier today, insisting that there’s no truth to 50 Cent’s claims. “Why u keep on lying why u keep on lying ,” he captioned a photo of himself by a pool. “Lol I’m goin back to sleep Free Mel matrix till it’s reversed.”

The Game Steps In To Assist Victims Of Los Angeles Wildfires
As catastrophic wildfires rage through Los Angeles, rapper The Game is stepping up to support families affected by the devastation. The Compton native announced on Wednesday (January 8) that he’s working alongside talent manager Travis Wilson to offer relief to evacuees who have been forced out of their homes.
“Me & [Travis Wilson] are helping 10 families effected [sic] by the fires here get into @airbnb for a week free of charge ,” The Game wrote on his Instagram Stories. He encouraged those in need to reach out to Wilson directly via Instagram, specifying that identification or a driver’s license with an address in the impacted areas is required.
The wildfires, which erupted on Tuesday (January 7), have been fueled by powerful winds and dangerously dry conditions, resulting in unprecedented destruction. Over 27,000 acres have been scorched, claiming at least five lives and displacing more than 100,000 residents. Emergency services are stretched thin, struggling to contain the fires as resources dwindle.
With more than 2,000 structures reduced to ashes, this has become one of the most destructive wildfire events in Los Angeles history. Financial damages are projected to exceed $10 billion.
As of Thursday morning (January 9), five major fires remain uncontained, including a new blaze in the Hollywood Hills that ignited late Wednesday. The Game’s efforts to help those in need shine as a beacon of hope during this dire time.

JAY-Z Wants Rape Lawsuit Dismissed & Accuser’s Lawyer Fined Over ‘Extreme’ Violations
‘Abbott Elementary’ Creator Quinta Brunson Has A Non-Philly Answer For The Greatest Rapper Of All Time
To the delight of Mr. Peanutbutter and fans of good sitcoms everywhere, the debauched It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia gang appeared in Wednesday’s episode of the comparatively wholesome Abbott Elementary. It’s part one of a two-part crossover event with the second episode airing during the upcoming season of It’s Always Sunny (which should premiere later this year).
The idea for the crossover was conceived by It’s Always Sunny creator and star Rob McElhenney and Abbott creator and star Quinta Brunson, who was asked to name the greatest rapper of all time for Complex‘s “GOAT talk” series.
“Jay-Z,” she told McElhenney with no hesitation. “His lyrics have inspired me so much, how I write, how I make business moves, how I make things that are Black but for public consumption.”
As for McElhenney, he went with Tupac, although Eazy-E is up there, too. “When I was 11 years old or something when Straight Outta Compton came out and suburban white boys in Philly finding that and playing it, your mind is just f*cking blown,” he explained. “Blew my socks off. I love it. I love it.”
You can watch Brunson and McElhenney’s “GOAT” video above. Meanwhile, Abbott Elementary and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia are both streaming on Hulu.
